Quietists hotel I’ve every stay at didn’t hear one door slam or voices in the hallway loved the water bottle refiller in the hallway ice machine was broken no big deal for me didn’t need ice staff was outstanding friendly and always able to answer a question thank you

I loved the stay except for the charcoal line of soap, conditioner, and hand cream. It was awful.

This property makes the famous Riverwalk accessible and relevant. From one's room, one must only get into the elevator and select RW. The staff are genuinely interested in guest care. The property and the rooms are immaculate! A contemporary industrial chic style ensures that the rooms are neither gaudy nor pretentious.

Long initial wait to check in with no staff acknowledgment. However the room was very comfortable and the location was amazing! Bar staff was nice.

Canopy provides extremely easy access to the Riverwalk. It is a well-maintained property with a very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location on the riverwalk. Family trip with little kids and the hotel was perfect to hop in or out for naps or breaks for the little ones. The restaurant had a good breakfast. Would stay here again.

We moved to the Hilton from a bery bad experience at the Riverwalk Plaza.. The canopy was top-notch. It was beautiful, clean and had the coolest vibe The weather wasn't great so we enjoyed everything about hanging at the hotel. Both the restaurant and the bar were beautiful and cozy..the patio on the riverwalk was perfect.

The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful. Food was delicious and atmosphere was great.

Huge gorgeous room! Bed was comfortable. Only thing I didn’t really like was the smell of the body wash, hand soap, etc.

The welcome staff were less than pleasant. The lack of a "front desk" made check-in seem chaotic and crowded. Our shower didn't drain and I was standing in 2" of water as I was showering. This was a very unpleasant experience. When we alerted the front desk, we were treated with indifference and "I'm sorry about that." Valet parking was too expensive! Had we known the public parking lot across the street existed for 1/2 the price we would have chosen that...especially since the valet service were aggressive with hands out looking for a tip every time we walked out of the hotel. We split our stay in San Antonio at this hotel and another down the street. We will ONLY stay at the other location (cheaper) from now on. This hotel is not your typical Hilton quality and service!

Excellent Hotel

I had an excellent experience at the Canopy by Hilton San Antonio. Although my first night started with a slight hiccup due to the hotel being overbooked, the manager went above and beyond to assist me. They not only found me accommodations at another hotel but also covered the cost, which was a true testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction. The following day, I was able to check in early without any issues, and my stay from that point on was flawless. The room was impeccably clean, the restaurants and bar were fantastic, and the staff was consistently friendly and attentive. I even extended my stay for two extra nights because I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Antonio—it’s a perfect blend of hospitality, comfort, and great service!

Unfortunately staff failed miserably at this property. Cleaning staff skipped cleaning room because they had too many to clean, reception staff didn’t care about issues, hostess staff in restaurant were rude, bartenders acted like we owed them a favor for being there. Only 3rd floor bar host was up to par and provided excellent service. Everyone else on staff was disappointing except maybe valets. Wouldn’t recommend this property.

Loved the spacious room with the double balcony. The common areas were pretty cold considering it wasn’t hot out and the room keys seem to cause everyone some frustration in the elevator but the staff were amazing and the location was awesome.

Perfect hotel to stay at while enjoying everything the Riverwalk had to offer.

Wonderful deal on the riverwalk. Room was large, clean and had everything you expect. Had a great dinner in the restaurant! Everyone was nice. Lots to walk to. Parking is only drawback. Even the self parking a block away is expensive ( $30/d)

Nice weekend in San Antonio

Great location on the River Walk. Very nice room. Hotel was very quiet but there was a little street noise even on the 15th floor. No more than expected on a weekend in a city. Room very solid and clean. Both hotel bars we visited were fun and the drinks were good. Overall, really nice place.

Valet is super expensive. Nice place but the value isn't there imo. Theres places just as good for less. The staff was great though.

I loved the view!!!! It was very convenient to be right on the riverwalk. We didn’t have to walk very far to the mall & the best places to eat. We will be back to The Canopy ❤️❤️

Such an incredible stay and my view was unbelievable especially I stayed through New Years, my view of the fireworks were spectacular. I felt so safe and comfortable here due to me having very bad anxiety in the cities and staying in hotels due to bad experiences in the past but I had no worries at all. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone. You won’t regret the decision.

It was a nice hotel for the price. Bar was good even though they charged a tip to the room even though I paid a tip in cash. Hotel said they will fix that so we shall see. Other than that, good.

Not very accommodating at all on any dining change, you need reservation for all meals . The lunch and dinner menu are very similar, tasty but similar.

It was an awesome stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great location!

The property is absolutely beautiful and very nicely situated along the Riverwalk. The only complaint I had is really nothing. The hotel can control. If you are light sleeper, you will find it difficult to sleep with the sirens, horns, honking, people playing music loudly in their cars, etc. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Great location and rooms!

I absolutely loved domingo dinning. The staff was so nice and very communicative. I didn't like the sliding door to our room that divides the restroom and the beds. My son smashed his fingers when closing the door and cracked his finger nail a little, gave us a bit scare.

In truth, is very over priced. Hotel has the appearance and feel of incomplete construction. Concrete floors and unfinished walls. The resturant although in the hotel does not give priority to guests but to outside reservations even when the there is ample seating to accommodate. The only real plus is its right on the riverwalk and valet parking is very good and you're walking distance to the Alamo. In my opinion, it's an overpriced, average hotel in a good location.

I thought the property was great. Central but quiet. Comfortable beds and a really nice restaurant located beside the Riverwalk. Charming and picturesque. I would recommend this hotel.

I picked this hotel for its Pet friendly stay, but i wish they would have told me that there was a 75.00 extra charge for that and early check-in i was charged 25.00. before i got there. extra fee should be told ahead of time or put on the web sight.

Customer service needs a class

Valet nice, front desk person sitting and said nothing. I had to ask if it was the reservation desk. Simon needs a customer service class. Hello and welcome goes along way. Bar on patio 4 woman standing behind bar 15 minutes to get beer while sitting on bar. Gentle man helped and was friendly. Put all money in his tip cup and don’t think your getting change back. $7.14 for a beer tossed a $10 no change. He started talking and passed the change. Interesting! Hotel itself nice. Customer service 👎

The valet staff was excellent. Chandler was so helpful! The front desk personal were not friendly. We were not greeted as we approached the desk even after a greeting was given to them. Information about the room rate/ valet service was not clear and further inquiries were required to get the needed information. One staff member was on her phone the entire time. Quite a disappointing experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We arrived on a Friday evening and felt the Valet access was convenient and easy to access. All staff from valet to check in were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant Domingo was extremely convenient with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. Our family loved the location and ease to surrounding areas. As far as our room goes, it was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and very clean. The industrial theme is very much our desired esthetic. Overall an excellent hotel, that is clean sleek and modern all while providing much warmth with its amenities.

We loved this hotel! Located right on the River Walk, with indoor/outdoor bars and dining that look right onto the river. Public areas and rooms were gorgeously decorated with local art and cool furnishings. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the front-desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful hotel near the River Walk... Just far enough away to be quiet but close enough to all the restaurants, bars and entertainment that you can walk. Loved it!
