Lovely property. Peaceful with no noise if you want that. No music played but clean and peaceful. A lot of mosquitoes
My husband and I recently stayed at Blue Waters and overall we had a good time. The resort itself is a beautiful property and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The beach is small but super clean so many pools to lounge around throughout the property. The only downfall about this resort was the food. They only have two main restaurants to choose from with very minimal options to pick from, especially for the price that you are paying. Room service also has minimal options and ends at 10:00pm. We’ve been to many 5 start resorts and unfortunately I wouldn't classify this resort as one.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Blue Waters. The property was beautiful and well maintained, the staff was amazing (it is almost unfair to single any one person out because everyone was terrific, but Nicole and Karen were very helpful), and the food and drinks were great. The property is a little out of the way, and there are no nearby walkable options, but we enjoyed the quiet.
What’s not to like about Blue Waters??? My second trip and won’t be my last. Upgrade to a Cove Suite if you can. Beautiful interior design and spacious with a balcony or patio overlooking the sea. “Private” pool for the villa - 6 suites and a penthouse per villa. Not every suite was occupied so often had pool to myself. Three other beautiful pools on property for all guests. The beach is small but lovely. No issue getting chairs and umbrellas. Food is excellent (get the all inclusive, it’s worth it) especially at dinner. Delicious and lovely presentation. Staff is amazing!! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about them! Spa is wonderful - had a great massage. Resort is quiet. Had an amazing singer one night and a piano player another. Not a lot of entertainment like larger resorts but I go to relax. Highly recommend.
This resort was quiet with breath taking view. It was beautiful. Beach is small but we went in during off season (September) so wasn’t many people at the resort. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Staff ocassionally came to the beqch to offer drinks and fruit. Beach had some area with seaweed and others that had the softest sand ever. Food was excellent. Drinks were on the stronger side. Because there wasn’t that many people at the resort they opened one restaurant each night. Enjoyed the food at all of them! The only downside was the aggressive birds at breakfast. They didn’t eat your food off the plate while you were sitting there but if left unattended they would have a feast. Room was slightly outdated but the view of the ocean was amazing Welcome to the hotel was a little lackluster but the staff was overall friendly. Matthew, Violet and Edison made our stay pleasurable
Fantastic resort. Staff were amazing and property was gorgeous. Will return and highly recommend.
Grounds are well kept. Most of the people were friendly. Not really a lot to do on the property, but if you want to rest and just relax this property is perfect.
An oasis
Blue waters was exceptional! The property well manicured lush and green. The service and courteousness of the staff was exemplary. The concierge was knowledge out off site excursions and very efficient in scheduling and planning my day. This felt like home away from home!!
No activity, poor restaurant
Fantastic crew and staff. All very polite and helpful throughout our stay!
My family and I went there to celebrate my mom's birthday in a low-key manner, since my dad suddenly passed on Valentine's Day. Kina was great about ensuring that her day was special with the tables nicely set up with flowers and lavender placemats for each of our meals. My mom felt happy because she did not want any singing but just a tranquil day with family. Kina also hosted us for our first dinner - she was so sweet, pleasant, professional, attentive and hospitable. Additionally, Takeshi was also one of our servers throughout our stay and she was always so sweet and attentive. Jeniece, Rachel and Kyla were also very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay. Stephan was always very helpful and pleasant when we approached him at the front desk. Last but not least - Christopher was also very helpful and friendly when he greeted us on our first day while taking us to our rooms and when picking up our luggage on our day of departure. Overall, we appreciated the staff, accommodations, facilities and healthy seafood dishes. It was a self-care getaway that my family and I most needed with the loss of my dad. Thank you Blue Waters Resort & Spa for making our vacation so memorable!!
Staff was very friendly
Great hotel with friendly staff. Our ocean-view rooms were amazing. We loved the hotel's beach; it provided the best beach experience. Beach activities were available and convenient, making our stay enjoyable. Housekeeping was excellent; they tidied up our rooms promptly and provided all necessary toiletries. The fine dining experience with an ocean view was fantastic. Highly recommended!
Great hotel, lovely friendly staff and professional receptionists. Facilities and beach area fabulous, food a bit hit and miss, restaurant staff are all extremely friendly, lovely and attentive. Shout out to the lovely Restaurant Manager. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you will not be disappointed.
Blue Waters is "Heaven on Earth" and the staff is great! Make sure you go and see Tiquesha (Concierge) for all of your excursions. Also, Nichole and Julia are great if there are ever any issues with anything. I will be returning to Blue Waters next year!
Amazing Antigua
Wonderful resort and amazing trip! Food, service, cleanliness were all very top notch.
Great all inclusive hotel
Everything about this hotel is, in our opinion first class. We would highly recommend the all inclusive, the restaurants options are very good bearing in mind it’s not a massive hotel, the cocktails are amazing and I’m not sure where you would have to go if you wanted to eat out!
The staff were very attentive Tremaine, Stephen at Veronica's, the breakfast staff, all were of the highest caliber. Thank You.
awesome thats it.
The staff is all so warm and welcoming and the service we received was fantastic.
This is a very luxurious resort with elegance, the food was fantastic, and the staff is well trained, courteous, and professional even the ground crews. The resorts has three restaurants which is a dining experience. You have a choice of beach side dining to fine dining at the Cove restaurant. The accommodations are spacious, impeccably clean with turned down service. The view is breathtaking. We are looking forward to our retuned visit
Amazing time.. words can’t explain how much we loved this place
This is the 3rd year we have come with the family and we all enjoy it. It’s an easy relaxing spot, well run with better than average food for the Caribbean
Very cool
First class service at this property. The staff deliver in spades. They really are first class and seem to really enjoy their work.
Absolutely stunning. From the moment you walk in its paradise. The food was incredible, the views were amazing. The staff was so attentive to every need you may have.
The staff at Blue Waters were amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. It is a must stay if you are visiting Antigua!
The entire staff was incredibly friendly! Wonderful, small luxury resort with a beautiful setting. The owner lives on property and is seen around the resort working/overseeing the daily routine. The staff knew it was my birthday and everyone made me feel special. The food was wonderful. We loved the Cove. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was amazing!!! They really made the entire experience. The food is sooo good! Especially at the Cave. I had an issue with the shower hot water which took a little longer to get resolved but overall I really enjoyed my stay
It was quiet and the staff was friendly. Very few food options available during the day and no food available after 11pm.
Property is nice and the staff is helpful. Food is good however if your gonna classify your resort as all inclusive, don’t up charge for premium liquor. Looks cheap. The rates that are charged can suffice better choices of liquor that you include. It’s a great location on the island.
Beautiful property, beach, good food, kind stuff!
I would recommend .
Everything about Blue Waters is top shelf! I can’t say enough good things about the staff. They made me feel SO welcome. The interior design is beautiful - I stayed in a Cove Suite which had a stunning view of the sea and a semiprivate pool which was a wonderful amenity. The food was delicious - beautifully presented and so good. Highly recommend this resort and I hope to visit again.
Beautiful property and grounds. Really friendly staff. Very happy with the food! Especially, The Cove restaurant, with exquisite cuisine and top notch service. Overall, lovely stay!
Perfect Spot for Family Vacation
Blue Waters was the perfect spot for our family spring vacation trip. Big enough to have the infrastructure and services of a larger resort but small enough to feel intimate. Staff was fantastic and the resort never felt crowded. Food was excellent, especially the Cove.
We loved our stay at Blue Waters! The resort was perfect for our family (2 children aged 4 and 6) with activities for all ages and excellent dining options. The staff was friendly and helpful at every moment. We can't wait to go back.
The property was kept very well, the staff was so friendly and nice, the food & drinks we're excellent!!! We can not wait to come back :)
Location and grounds were great. Staff attentiveness was A Food was generally good, but had a couple of mediocre meals. Had an accounting difficulty, but that was quickly solved.
I have traveled to many All Inclusive resorts. By far Blue Waters Resprt and Spa are the best. Everything was done to high standards.
Great location and staff!
The property was much bigger than it looked. There were many private areas and the landscaping was beautiful.
A nice stay
We had a wonderful stay - the hotel was beautiful and maintained to the highest standard, the beaches (although they had seaweed) were wonderful, and the service by all of the staff could not be faulted at any point. The Elemis items in the bathroom were a real treat and the water bottles were a great added extra. The only issue we had was that on multiple evenings, only 1 restaurant was open for dinner out of the 3 - it was understandable with covid and capacity levels, but we were not blown away by the food at the Palm (good, but not worth the cost) and so being forced to eat there was disappointing. I am very pleased we didn't pay the extra $250pp/pn for all inclusive as I'm not sure it would have been worth it.
Zero vip access benefits. We did receive a nice bottle of champagne cookies and chocolate as an apology for a non functional room that we were given initially. Covid test is a price gauging $70 per person $280 for 4. No resort credit of 20 per night received as mentioned
Really nice hotel to stay at! Staff was also very friendly.
Blue Waters is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in - the setting is superb, great service, and it was very quiet since people are not supposed to travel there from the UK at the moment.
Amazing stay, amazing staff, and amazing owner. Just returned and already miss the stunning grounds/location, clean and impressive facilities, attentive and friendly staff, and fantastic owner. From Nicole, Winsia, Tario, Saron, Jason, Jesse, Pearle, etc. we found individuals committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. Additionally, we were delighted and surprised to have the opportunity to spend quality time with the owner of the resort and his beautiful family (Gary and Buzz). They are kind people who care deeply about their guests and ensuring a first class bespoke experience. Cannot wait to return...
Amazing stay!! You won’t regret!!
This resort is absolutely incredible! The service, the location, the staff and the sheer beauty of the resort is absolutely amazing! Family owned business with thr owner on property meeting and greeting everyone is such genius and keeps everyone happy and excellent service!!
always a lovely place but service can be off
We stayed in a suite in Cove Villas, a quiet lovely room with a nice patio and sea view. Blue Waters has always been my favorite on the north of the island, even the service could be not as good as expected given the cost and the reputation. This time our villas manager promised a few items and NEVER delivered, nor got back to us that she could not provide them. She simply disappeared after her first introduction upon our arrival, never to return. We did not bothered to call a second time after nobody seemed to know what we were talking about on the first follow-up call. We drove to buy the items ourselves, they were items usually offered in 4/5 star hotels. The day we were checking out, the manager of there hotel was very accommodating, shame that I had some matters to attend and was not able to meet her in person. The rest of the staff in the hotel can either be warm and hospitable the good old West Indian way or the opposite, cold and grumpy.
Property is well maintained- landscaping and beach area are very beautiful. Hotel is quiet and all employees were smiling and welcoming.outsatnding value for the money
This resort is splendid. We stayed in a villa so only shared the infinity pool with 6 other couples. The food was wonderful, but the menus of the higher end restaurants didn’t vary while we were there. This is not the place to go for snorkeling however.
Paradise, paradise, paradise
When my wife and I arrived at Blue Waters Resort, we could see that we have booked into luxury. The staff on arrival we so pleasant, bringing cold flannels to cool us down after a long trip from UK - an excellent gesture and making us relaxed straight away. Another great little touch was that we were given re-useable water bottles to refill as and when needed. The aim of this : Blue Waters will achieve their dream to be the 1st Resort in Antigua to eradicate plastic bottles, awesome vision. Breakfast - Amazing, fantastic, superb- All of these words would describe the selections of choice on offer. There’s full English to a massive selection for us Vegetarians. Choose how you would like your eggs (fried, omelette, poached, scrambled) all cooked fresh by the great chefs awaiting your selection...and not forgetting the Champagne, a true bonus to enjoy the panoramic view from the "Palm" restaurant. Views from our room were fantastic - Beach view Room. The facilities in the room were excellent. The choice of pools was amazing, we used the Adult Pool - very relaxing, and with the brilliant "Carolyn" catering for your every need by bringing drinks to you as and when you need. The "Cove" restaurant was fully booked during our stay, but if you like Asian food try "Bartley’s". Delicious. There’s no other way to finish this review by mentioning the Staff - Last but in NO WAY LEAST, - an ultimate team of staff who will make your stay brilliant. Thank you, guys, and see you next year.
Location good and transportation also though i paid extra for it
The BEST thing about this resort is the impeccable service. Every staff member that I encountered was extremely pleasant. respectful and attentive to any needs/questions that I had. The rooms are clean and all have an amazing view with a balcony/porch. Bathrooms are very spacious. The food was flavorful and tasted great - restaurants had variety food choices. My only complaint is I wish the WiFi had been stronger.
The property is beautiful and very well kept. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing.
The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The scenery was beautiful.
The property was clean and absolutely beautiful. The views were breathtaking and everything was perfect.
The ocean view rooms are gorgeous! The staff were hospitable and provided amazing customer service. The resort and the pretty greenish blue water was incredible. I love this place
They were super friendly with my son and very accommodating
The staff were amazing, Karen was so helpful!! Beautiful and secluded resort, highly recommend!
Beautiful grounds, very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is very compact, everything you need is nearby.
Fantastic Hotel
grounds are lovely and well kept much attention to detail
Will be back for more Blue Waters.
We stayed in a beach front toom upstairs, and preferred it to when we stayed in a Cove Suite a few years ago I think. We didn’t go allinclusive but it seemed most folks did. We thought the hotel had improved over the years, though I think the food could be better. Very little fish on the menu at lunch Ie fish tacos or Caesar salad with fish etc. But very little to complain about , a very pleasant and chilled out resort. High standards and lovely spa.
The place was beautiful but somewhat overpriced. The beach was full of seaweed for our first few days, but it did get somewhat better. The high end Cove restaurant was terrific, and the Palms, regular restaurant, was a reasonable buffet with many offerings and lots of fresh fruit.
We had a fantastic experience for our daughter's destination wedding. Mandie was amazing and ran the event professionally and smoothly. Garry and staff were attentive and every detail was perfect. It far exceeded our expectations!
Best Food in the Caribbean at the Cove. Service a little slow - not up to standard. Room was nice, great view. Housekeeping a little slow to respond to requests: no phone (replaced after 2 days), bad light bulb (never replaced). Lighting in bathroom was poor - made it tough to shave; lighting in room was poor - made it tough to read. Small issues, overall a good place and we would return.
Great hotel and staff. A truly wonderful vacation
Great property
Perfect hotel with sandy beach and nice views
Pefect hotel in just about every way. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and friendly, getting to know your name. Weather in August was supposed to be a bit rainy - but we had practically none. The beach is lovely (with no seaweed!). All the pools were clean and the water warm. All 3 restaurants provided a high standard of F&B and sufficient variety. The SPA was of the highest standard. The cocktails were excellent! AC in rooms was much welcomed and worked well. We were a family of 5, with older teenagers, and we all enjoyed our week's stay a lot and would certainly come back.
Loved the staff, location and food! Some of the people that stayed there were just a little snobby.
Great hotel overall
Good accomodation, only need to improve wifi in resort rooms, I could not connect inside room properly, outside of room it was fine. The morning breakfast staff also need to talked to as very unhelpful. I thought the gardeners and cleaner were great, many many pools and lunch and dinner was good. Beautiful spot on the north coast of Antigua
Location and grounds are fantastic. Service at the restaurants was generally very slow.
A beautiful resort with top-notch staff. We loved everything about it and are already planning our next trip.
Gorgeous Property and beautiful beach
Absolutely beautiful property, we enjoyed our stay at the Bule water resort. The beach at the hotel is magnificent, the environment in the hotel was quiet and peaceful. There is a lot of guest activities planned throughout the day, like the garden tour, walk, live music to mention a few of them. We felt that the service could have been better.
Nice hotel, nice beach, nice rooms, nice food. Nice.
5* All the way
Welcoming staff every day . Perfect location. The staff know you by name after day one which is amazing. Colene in the Palm Retaurant greeted us with a welcoming beautiful smile every morning nothing was too much trouble. The management were visible every day and made time to stop and check everything was o.k. I have never seen this in any other hotel. This hotel is run like a family home and I hope it never changes.
Beach hotel with pretty gardens
Stayed here for a week, explored the island by car most days but a great place to chill out, eat and drink.
Relaxing restort, delicious food, pleasant staff
We had a nice 6 night stay at Blue Waters. Three of us stayed a Cove Suites and the room was very nice as was the semi private pool. The staff was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed all three restaurants but mainly ate at The Palm which had breakfast and lunch buffets that were amazing. Dinners at The Palm were also delicious and there was always a great variety to choose from. Our one dinner at The Cove was suburb as was the view. We didn't spend much time at any of the small beaches because it was very windy every day. We also didn't swim much in the ocean, again because of the wind. We weren't able to use any of the boats which was a huge disappointment. I used the health club daily and it was adequate.
Lovely hotel but certain aspects disappointing.
Really enjoyed our stay at Bluewaters. The staff could not have been more accommodating and there is a lot to like about this hotel. We stayed in the Cove suites, which were looking a bit tired and we found the bed very uncomfortabe. These rooms command a hefty premium so I would expect a higher standard of mattress. That aside, the setting is peaceful and the concierge service was great! I would say this hotel is definitely suited to guests who prefer the poolside to the beach.
room and restaurant with excellent views
beautiful views of the beach and pool from our room and the restaurant. The front desk set up tours to Nelson's dock and an ECO tour. Buffet breakfast was excellent. All employees were helpful and pleasant. Absolutely no complaints.
Blue water is a great name for this hotel
The water was blue and beautiful. The staff was friendly. There was a classic British feel to the place; I expected Sean Connery to drive up in an Aston Martin at any minute.
A plus
Breathtaking. The staff are so friendly and very hospitable the place is extremely clean. The rooms are super comfmy. A home away from home.
Beautiful gardens, professional but fun staff.
The front lobby personnel were welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. I enjoyed walking the grounds and looking the gardens. Also watching the sunset. At night I enjoyed the various bands. Originally I'm was going to bring my elderly mother which Im glad didn't. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place if you have mobility problems because there are alot of stairs. However talk with the resort first to see how they can accommodate any mobility challenges.
Blue waters Antigua great vacation!
This was my third time staying at Blue waters. The resort is beautiful, clean and welcoming. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The managers and staff were very attentive.
Nice hotel and beach.
Very nice hotel, nice beach, Staff wasnt as friendly as in other caribbean islands. They take too long to serve tea or coffea during breakfast, same as lunch and dinner All the rest fine
Wonderful in every way ...lovely setting, wonderful staff and exceptional food!
Hotel next to the beach
Good hotel. Beautiful sea view. Very relaxing. Staff welcoming.
Most awesome hotel stay ever
Everyone is friendly room is clean food is good...no complaints
Great location. Service not the best.
The location was perfect but service was below expectation. Gentleman who walked me to my room was not well versed in where to find food at 2:30pm. During two different meal times, my beverage my forgotten. Slider door in my room did not lock. Wifi connection was poor and no one would take time to assist me to a resolution. As a woman traveling alone, I think the constant request for your room number publicly (for everything) is a safety concern.
Lovely times at blue water resort
Amazing trip. I need them to send me a booklet of the resort so that I can share and recommend to all my friends. Please!
Nice beach, nice pools, great concierge very attentive staff.
Excellent position and facilities. Helpful staff and obvious pride in their resort
Wedding
We had 24 people at the resort for our daughters wedding. Overall a wonderful wedding in a magical setting with an excellent staff. Will review as a wedding with comments under the Rock Cottage.
Beautiful Beautiful
Outstanding boutique hotel with outstanding landscaping and walking paths. Each room with view of the sea. Several restaurants with menus that changed daily. Attentive manager and great beaches. The accommodation met and exceeded our expectation. Would return there in a heartbeat. Bravo BlueWaters
Lovely hotel, not so good wifi
The only issue I had was the lack of wifi service in the room. The grounds were amazing and the room was lovely!
Very good hotel on the beach
It was amazing, however I think that the choice of food @ Palm restaurant which is served breakfast, lunch and dinner could be better.
The staff was very hospitable. Especially Akeem, he was the best.
excellent breakfast, limited dinner menu, greatBBQ
Wifi was great everywhere but in the room,,, spotty availability and slow when working... semiprivate pool shared with three other couples, very nice beach and cove - great sand, great water
