The hotel was clean, city was not.
great
Bit noisy but convenient location and helpful staff.
Really noisy during the night in the halls
Perfect Location
We were able to walk easily to Granville and Gastown. The space was older but very well maintained, super clean and very comfortable. I loved the handheld shower heads. We will definitely stay here again.
Although the hotel is showing its age, the staff were courteous and helpful. The area around the hotel is littered with single residence occupancy buildings, which house the majority of the drug addicts and homeless people, people openly smoking crack on the streets, the amount of bars that are open late once they close All the people spill out into the streets and make a lot of noise. The street also attracts anybody with a loud exhaust on their car and they treat it like a drag strip at night. I stayed in the armpit of Vancouver. I will never come back..
Well located, amazing staff
Great view from the 12th floor!
Convenient location helpful staff especially Fionn and Max
Good location for my needs
nice
Very convenient location for downtown vancouver.
Like the hotel. However when i reserved it said there was parking which was important to me. However i only found that it was quite costly when i arrived. I did not see the fee when reserving.

Room was nice, staff was friendly. Area surrounding hotel is full of drug addicts and homeless, it’s very sad. It’s also very noisy all night. Requested an infant crib for our baby and they gave us a dirty broken pack and play, the bottom was busted and did not fit the play pen they provided which is incredibly unsafe, suffocation hazard. When paying over 300$ a night you would expect at least a safe place for your baby to sleep. Most of the hotel patrons are young adults drinking and partying all night. The hallways are loud. If that’s your scene it might be a good place for you. Room service breakfast was good. Connected underground Parking was convenient although pricey.
Love the place. Close to all amenities
Nothing
We were coming into Vancouver to attend an event at 2:00pm. We called the hotel to see if it would be possible to get into our room early to change. I was greeted very professionally, understood, and promised to do what they could. When we arrived, our room was available, upgraded to a beautiful suite. We were surprised and very grateful. Parking was a bit of a challenge to find, but totally adequate once we knew. On departure we were encouraged to return and given snacks for the drive home to Kelowna. Definitely a great place to stay.
There is a great view from the 15th floor. Employees are friendly and helpful.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and the restaurant was great
Great staff and nice rooms.
Awesome location
Great trip with my sons and friend!
The staff are the best thing about this place. Always helpful, always available and always smiling. Keep up the great work.
Friendly fast service. Available to answer questuins.
Downtown
Comfort
Everything is good , just need stay for more time and taste the food ,,, maybe the next time ,, thanks,,,,
This is ur 2 time staying at this place
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
From the moment we walked in we were treated with respect, kindness and concern. Every staff member went out of their way to ask how we were doing and how our day was going and if we needed anything. Not just on day one, but every day. The hotel is perfectly set in the city to give easy, walkable access to all of the different (N, S, E, W) neighborhoods. It is a bit busy on that section of Granville Street but it is a small price to pay to be that perfectly situated to take advantage of all this wonderful city has to offer.
Incident
Everything was good until the morning. 6 am we where woken up to security yelling at a women in the hallway telling her to leave. I asked them to be quiet and they got even louder. He moved the lady off our floor and then 20 mins later security was arguing with someone on our floor. This is not the wake up call or expectation of the hotel. Counter staff below is great though.
Great find
Wondeful hotel, cleanliness and amenities. Very close walking distance to so many stores and convenient. Only negative is the houseless population all around the block making it feel a bit unsafe in the evening time when walking to/from hotel.
Clean. Good walking location to Roger’s Arena and BC place. Hotel restaurant was well priced and delicious.
Good to have suite option with kids so you can hang out in the living room after they go to bed
Nice
Great location to walk to sites.
It is clean..
Great location , staff and service. All staff interaction was great. Staff are professional and look the part , they are also extremely friendly and helpful. We asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered right away with a cheerful smile. Got the pleasure of talking to Vikrant the FOM , he put the cherry on top with great customer service and brand representation at checkout. Hats off to the team and management Would definitely recommend and would stay there again
Awesome stay
Friday morning the housekeeper was very very friendly and polite
Stay here , it is good
Good staff , comfortable room
This hotel was great. The staff were more than accommodating, our room and meeting room were all wonderful.
Always satisfied
We always love staying here. It’s clean the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s close to most venues for shows etc.
Close to shops, restaurant, yaletown, nightlife
Staff was super friendly, the room was clean and well priced, the restaurant was good and our waitress was lovely.
The housing keeping is doing a great job. Eveerything is good except the experience in the front desk. They need to be more hospitable. My boyfriend ask for a hot water in the reception last night but they simply told go to a restaurant.they could have handled the situation better
The hotel is located in a perfect area for exploring some great spots in Vancouver. It is also very easy to catch the skytrain or buses. Staff were friendly and they let us store our suitcases after check out until we had to head to the airport.
Great room, nice view
Great location and really close to many attractions.
I enjoyed my weekend at the hotel The staff were excellent and the restaurant food was excellent
Wasnt impressed but it is in a really good location.
Had a suite very nice!! Balcony
Room was very average. This is not a complaint the nightly rate was fair. It is a simple, small room. Suited our needs but nothing stood out. Staff were very kind, and the room was clean. The walls are paper thin, did not bother us, but could hear conversations on both sides of us. Decent place, fair rate and excellent location.
Was good
Nice area
Rooms were clean view was amazing.Felt that the price to park vehicle was too expensive capitalizing on there being no where else to park.
Very good hotel. Quelques points négatifs pourraient être résolus très facilement : fuite au pommeau de douche, coffre fort locké à notre arrivée, frigo sans lumière.
Property is old but reasonably well kept. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to Davie corridor which is good for restaurants and people watching. There was a chirping or beeping sound everyvfew minutes 24/7. It sounded like a phone but nobtelling what it was. The Granville night life is loud until the wee hours. There are a lot of people who need help around including a hotel coverted to low barrier housing.
The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was great. This location was EXTREMELY NOISY. Mind you, it was a Saturday night in Vancouver. We didn’t expect the level of noise. Also, the sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room spacious and comfortable, very clean. The elevators and lobby are really chilly but I don't suppose that really is an issue.
Room was very spacious and staff were friendly.
Outdated room, found some stains on bed sheets, room had a stench
Excellent stay
We needed to find a hotel close to the Vancouver General Hospital and randomy chose this one. What a great find! The staff were so good and accommodating to our every need. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back again!
Our favorite place
Drug dealers, sex shops and vagrants outside the front door. Staff very polite and nice. Accommodation clean and on site parking useful.
Stuff were very friendly and cooperative!
Was a good stay, huge room, got upgraded to a suite for free
It was ok.
Great location and staff are helpful and friendly
Excellent concierge Juan
Excellent hotel! We will be back!
It is a nice place to stay.
Run down hotel
Short and sweet
Short and sweet. Room to pull the vehicle up at the front to unload.
5 stars
We got a free upgrade to a king suite. Check in was a breaze. Overall we had a great experience.
Great room
convenient location. clean and offered a suite. charges appeared to by higher than expected. coffee in room was awful. lots of sirens in area.
Place was tidy and clean but building has kind of a musky smell
The rooms were nice, staff was great, area was not great for tourists, too many homeless and druggies around. Did not feel safe walking alone at night. Lots of sirens, and street fighting/shouting all hours of the night.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accomodating.
Room was great and clean
Excellent service, beautiful view, comfortable room
It was a great stay
the hotel is great, the location is convenient, sadly one can hear what's happening outside, Since it is a central location outside is noisy.
Taylor Swift Weekend
We traveled to Vancouver for the Taylor Swift concert and had an amazing stay at your hotel! Our bartender, in particular, was fabulous! She was friendly, helpful, and made sure our food and drinks were to our liking. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner and he was so kind! Thank you so much for contributing to our weekend in Vancouver!
convenient downtown location
Good Taylor Swift balón exhibir and z mas Tere and gift. Tough when 1 of 2 elevadora not working with full hotel. Good, easy parking.
Friendly staff, quiet, clean.
Lovely place to stay in Vancouver
Wonderful place to stay for comfort & convenience. What makes it extra special is the attentiveness & friendlinessof staff at all levels. I will return
The BEST Best Western I’ve Ever Stayed At
The hotel manager, Bruce, was absolutely a delight to work with at check in. When he learned about our flight delay and luggage lost, he immediately gave us some Canadian snacks, a toothbrush and paste without us even asking, and told us to go see Melvin at the bar if we were looking for a special drink. He asked all about the Taylor Swift concert we were in town for and even told us he didn’t want to ruin the surprise, but there was a little “something special” waiting in our room. The lobby was decorated in balloons and Taylor Swift theme and you could tell he truly loves his job. I wish the world had more Bruces at the desk and Melvins behind the bar in it because it would be a better place.
Would not recommend this hotel! Upon check in shower stall had long black hair smeared on wall and tile and carpet were sticky. I let the front desk know and they said “I’m sorry we’ll let housekeeping know.” Granville St is lined with homeless people using drugs in the open. I felt unsafe walking on that street and walked on streets parallel to it to avoid it.
comfortable
comfortable stay, didn't use amenities due to time constraints. wish there was a continental breakfast!
The staff at this Best Western were so wonderful - very kind and helpful, and since our plane was delayed 2 hours we really appreciated having a 24-hour staffed front desk. The room was excellent - we had a double bed suite and it was wonderful to have a separate living room for the early morning hours before the kids were up. And we loved the personal touch - we were there for the Taylor Swift concert and the morning of the concert there was a friendship bracelet on the door handle :) The property was just a six minute walk from the Yaletown-Roundhouse train station, so it was very easy to get to and from the airport without a car. I would definitely stay here again!!
The hotel was great for a quick trip for Taylor Swift. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy though. One of the employees has an adorable dog that sometimes greets people from the front desk.
Great location. The staff were quick if we needed anything. The room was great for 3 ladies sharing for the TS concert.
Beautiful property with a great location. Restaurants walkable and staff very accommodating!
Overall a great hotel. Recommend!
The staff gave me the lowest floor which is floor 3. The noise and partying till 3am were unbearable. I am unsure if this is intentional since we are booking with 3rd parry Expedia
Food in restaurant was good but expensive. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.
We had a great view of the city and some mountains in the background. The hotel was clean, the room was clean too and agreeable.
