Lovely big bedrooms. Great dining area and swimming pool facilities. However the hotel could provide more information about its facilities and things to do nearby.

This rooms are becoming a little dated and on our most recent stay the carpet in our room clearly needed re-doing and it could have been a little cleaner overall, but we continue to stay here because it's a fantastic location with the monorail right outside, shopping malls and eating within walking distance, and one of the best breakfasts buffets in the world.

Worst Hotel in KL

Hotel did not honor the booking even though we have prepaid in full. Hotel.come service is even worth.. no solution from them and hang up your call, putting u on hold for almost 3 hrs. Stranged with no hotel for 4 hrs dedoarately looking a new hotel. Avoid berjaya time square hotel and booking from hotel.com. they would not help and simply ignore u even u have booking number. As long as they cannot find booking number in their system, whatever confirmation u have mean nthg to them. Hotel.com wont help u solve your issue as well. My advice is to avoid this booking platform!!

Convenient for travellers to n fro from airports

For Hotel stay n nearby shopping or to airport by trains is convenient. They only have a vegetarian restaurant. No western or local fine dining restaurants in the hotel. Those want to have it . Have to get out BTS to

Stayed level 36 with a big room. Toilet is run down with water seepage false ceiling. While high floor and there are roaches in the untouched pantry during my stay.

Perfect hotel for shopping

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel is very clean with friendly staff. We were upgraded to a premium room. Location is great too, connected to a shopping mall and also food was excellent. Only issue we had was the AC was noisy and stopped working on first day however this was fixed straight away. We will definitely come back again.

Location is easily accessible. Management should consider repair furniture and wardrobe in the room.

Assigned room was very large and clean. However, quite a number of the electrical outlets weren’t working/some looked almost dislodged from the wall. Also, the TV controller was not very responsive (even after changing the remote).

I stayed here for 9 wonderful days. Everyone that I met was professional and warm and caring. The food was amazing and I will definitely stay here again

This is a huge hotel. We found that the amenities were not big enough to accommodate the large number of people staying there. We tried to have breakfast and after navigating the hundreds of others getting breakfast there was no where to sit. We tried to go to the pool and again, no where to sit due to the number of people there. We needed to leave our bags for a few hours… it took over 30 minutes of waiting in line to drop them off and over 45 minutes to pick them both up. It is a nice place but really not worth the hassle on all fronts.

Room was hugh and nice. Hotel is well situated around eateries and shopping centres. Air conditioning was defective despite after technician attending. Fortunately Mr Ridzuan (Duty Manager) very quickly responded to my request for provision of fans. Hotel needs to improve on customer support (reply to booking request)

COCKROACHES, beware! We had the most terrible experience at Berjaya. We left after one night even though we had booked 5 nights. First, the service was terrible. We had to take up our own luggage to the room and staff were dismissive. Second, the towels were very dirty. One towel had a big brown stain on it, that definitely looked like a poop stain. And worst of all, there were cockroaches in the bathroom! Literally coming out of the sink/drain. It was disgusting. When we complained, they said they’d give us an upgraded room but we’d have to pay extra. You make your guests pay extra after they’ve found cockroaches in their bathroom? What kind of service is this? Overall, I do not recommend this hotel at all. If you want a similar location there are plenty of other, better, cockroach-free hotels.

An old hotel that still charged you for carpark!

Hotel is old. Too many tour group tourists making everything slow, eg long queue at breakfast, long wait for lifts, slow check-in and check-out. Carpark is so expensive. The pool is ok, but all other facilities, spa and gym are outdated.

Hotel in dire in need of refurbishment as the lower floors are progressively looked into I.e air-con service. Depends on your luck. Do request for higher floors of Club Premier rooms to avoid discomfort and inconvenience

Excellent Stay at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kual

My recent stay at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was fantastic. The spacious rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Being adjacent to a shopping mall made everything incredibly convenient. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Kuala Lumpur!

The room is not clean and the mattress is very old and you could see and feel the springs coming out of it, it was discomfort to sleep on.

We got upgraded 2 levels called something like "club" because they they didnt have the 2 large single beds (premium) that we had booked long ago. We checked-in early in the morning but the room was not ready. They said to come around 2:30 pm -.3:00 pm, so we came then and we were disappointed that we cannot get the 2 beds we requested. We thought the free upgrade will give us the good size beds but that was not the case although everything was nice except the beds were still too small in sizes. One of the important reasons why we booked this hotel was because we wanted to have good rest and sleep in our 2 beds premium sizes, but that did not happen, unfortunately.

Room is spacious and clean. But toilet cover is loose. Poor maintenance!

The two bed room is nice and they did a little refurbishment in room interior. But The hotel itself like outdated but I’m ok with that and make me remind my childhood hotel

The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly The room was spacious and very clean , Poole area was nice The problem with the pool area is the hotel doesn’t supply towels so you have to bring the room ones and the the Sunna and steam rooms are not supervised with no towels provided , we’re turned off when we visited so had to get them put on by staff , no drinking water and whole place was very bare

Need to improve on maintenance.

It’s an old hotel within a shopping mall. The rooms are quite spacious but the furnitures and fittings are lacking of repair. One of the TV remote unable to power on, wooden chairs are rocking, toilet door knob are loose.

we stayed one night. it is a public holiday when we checked in. what a good choice when the shopping centre is just next door and we got what we wanted !

1. 프리미엄룸으로 예약할 이유가 없다. 라운지 조식 식당이 일반 조식식당에 비해 사람이 거의 없다는 것 외에 다른 것이 없다. 라운지 저녁 스낵도 너무 개수도 몇개없고 후지다. 술도 당연히 제공되지 않는다 2. 베지테리언 조식 조식식당 메뉴가 베지테리언 컨셉이라 베이컨, 소세지도 없다. 이런 조식메뉴는 처음이다. 3. west wing 건물 객실이 그나마 수준이 낫다. 4. 전체적으로 rate가 낮다면 이유가 있는것이다.

Berjaya Times Square has always been my choice of stay whenever I visit KL because of the service staff at the counter and it's convenient location. It is located within walking distance to the Monorail and is just directly above a shopping mall. The only thing that can be improve is the quality of the television channel provided, other than their local network, the other channel such as vision 4 had such terrible signal the whole time the screen keeps flickering. Another thing is that the room used to be very clean in the past but now, it has stain and dust all over the room. Overall, wasn't very satisfied with my current stay.

Value for money.

We had a superior room on the 42nd floor, which was very spacious and had good views of the surrounding area. It was very good value for money.

A little slow to check in. We arrived at 2.30pm ready to check in at 3pm. But was asked to wait as the place not ready yet. We only got our hotel room at 4pm. That’s a little late for a 5star hotel. Property is generally clean but the furnish is a little worn out and old, not really keeping up to date. Generally ok, not really wow. What keeps it going is the view which is really good and the very near shopping mall and the indoor theme park. Food taste nice but not much variety. The service staff is really friendly and helpful, especially when I need help with grab transportation. Overall is very good :) In my opinion, the hotel need to upgrade with better furnishings.

This grand old lady is now just OLD.

Was very disappointed with this hotel from the word go despite having a fantastic stay here over a decade ago. The room i had was old, very shabby, the air con was faulty, the bathroom sink was rimmed with mould, the toilet stopped flushing, the sheets had food stains, the lobby was outdated and it was as hot and stuffy as the elevators. We booked 4 rooms and one friend had no air con her room was a furnace and completely lost power so had terrible first night so they kindly upgraded her. Same thing happened to me the next night, was told by the maintenance man at 11pm i needed to move, pack my stuff and await a call from reception so hurriedly stuffed everything into cases but by 3am still hadnt heard a thing and was told they had no idea about situation. Had to go down myself after a restless night and told i couldnt get a new room until after 12 .They kindly upgraded me too so very happy to have air con but new room was very nice in comparison with old one but very basic except for the great walk in wardrobe.This is NOT a 5 star hotel anymore, once renovations are complete it will be a decent 3 star business hotel with an amazing pool. Very sad to see its decline but the staff were LOVELY and really tried their best. Ensure you request a room from lvl 28 down, every above is unrenovated. Still a great pool but Room service all vegetarian which is fine but no longer 24 hr and i missed my 1am club sandwich! Hope the future is brighter here. Thank you to the great staff x

booked 2 rooms with king sized bed for 1 night stay issue 1: was given 1 room with king bed and 1 with two single beds... issue 2: 2 single beded room aircon was so so bad! it was nt cooling at all. it seems like aircon was working issue 3: one of the bath tub did not had a stopper! we called few times to but no one sent it up to us during the whole stay! issue 4: the TV cabinet door FALL AND DROPPED ONTO MY HUSBAND HEAD! HOTEL DID NOTHING TO COMPENSATE OR ANYTHING! on top of this, we were told that this was the first time it has happened! issue 5: found a baby snail in the salard during breakfast - but restruant manager was good and handled the situation well by offering later check-out and on the house lunch buffet(as it was mothers' day) overall- hotel staff and service not good at all! been waiting for them to email me but have not heard from them and been 2 weeks already! very very disappointed and i have no idea how and who label this hotel to be a 5 star hotel! Expedia you got to refund me!

A mixed bag

The experience at this hotel for a 2 bedroom suite is a mixed bag. 7.5-8 / 10. Check in was straightforward. Checkout was allowed at 1 when queried as it was a weekday. The layout of suite booked was as per website which was nice but with issues. Dining seats were dirty and badly stained. Pictures taken and shown to staff who changed it soon after. However the vibration noise from the aircon /external private unit was very loud. Louder than the tv . Staff took over an hour to address it but to no avail. Alternative suite was offered on a higher level but that room had seen better days and the layout and vibe was just subpar. Very different from the original suite booked. Eventually another suite was chosen. Despite a lower floor unit it looked clean, well maintained and the vibe was more suitable for a family. Most importantly no noise from aircon or external private units. Buffet breakfast was decent. After 2nd day we ate out and simply had fruits there. Btw do not offer eggs over easy if you cannot flip well. Minus points for Internet which had to be re-checked in and reset daily. Location was great and being connected to a mall was a awesome given that the temperature soared to 40deg C. Overall stay was. 7.5-8 out of 10. Most helpful staff was Sayed who helped us view other suites and moved our stuff.

Security working for gangs recently.

Since friday March 20, 2023, had a terrible experience in room B4109. TV was not working. Found out on a later date. TV was faulty all along. AIRCON was not cold for the 3 nights stay. Later found out, it was out of gas. House keeping was terrible as rooms were still dusty and litter was still visble under bed and side table. Vanity set dressing table power plug was faulty and we are not able to use the hair dryer. We had submitted our feedback since day one of stay at reception concierge name Phillip who had taken our feedbacks but was put on deaf ears. Although a room was given on the secod last day of stay, however room look to be a downgrade rather than an upgrade. Chances of staying in Berjaya time hotel again will be very slim.

Location is great walking distance to every attention, the room is spacious but need refurbish as everything is so old and outdated including furniture, amenities. Check-in staff are not very helpful, I have to ask for information regarding breakfast’s time, where are the restaurants , where is the pool, what time it open and shut, etc.

Check in took longer than expected despite filling in their pre-check in forms. Once in the room we found the main room fuse would blow when we tried to turn on the hot water (a switch by the bathroom). We called reception twice to let them know the problem and that we didn't have hot water or any power in the room - no response. Eventually had to go down to reception, back to the room to pack our bags, carry them back to reception then carry everything up to a new room ourselves - a couple of hours wasted on our first night, wasn't impressed. Location is great - monorail right outside, a really good local food court in the mall the hotel is attached to.

Hotel is very run down. No maintenance done since our last stay. No room service. Can’t beat the location though.

Overall ok experience. Accessible to shopping malls and KL. Bathtub was not working properly and wasted money buying bath bars. Door to the toilet looked broken. We had sent our clothes for laundry only to find out that it would only be ready after our check out date. Much thanks to the staff for accommodating and expediting the process. Would not mind coming back to the property.

Good affordable property but stayed in two different rooms and each had plumbing and lighting issues.

Not clean at all. The sinks was dirty and moldy. We came back from our day and there was a water leak from the bathroom ceiling. The staff put towels on the floor but it did not get fixed until we went down and complained about it. Decor was old. Staff was friendly. The lobby was nice and welcoming. However, the room was a nightmare. Do not recommend.

Room had cockroaches, bathroom ceiling was leaking, carpet was worn out with holes.

Location is great with good transport facilties.Rooms are in terrible condition.Our room aircon dint work inspite of twice repairing by technical staff who were called.

Pro- The room was very spacious, clean and with a beautiful swimming pool view. The mattress was hard and very comfortable. The evening refreshment was beyond expectation as all I thought was just a drinks but there was fried rice, samosa, curry puff, 4 different types of cakes, 3 types of fruits and drinks. Cons- No proper explanation was given on the club premier benefits. There were no drinks in the mini bar as stated and also no shower gel but manage to get it after informing them. The water was slightly yellowish with a rusty smell.

The room was clean and spacious. The only things im so disappointed is the check in and check out process so slow. I have to queue for 1 hour and also long wait for the lift.

Quite a disappointing experience....

Firstly, upon checking in to the hotel, the process with the front desk took so much longer than most of the hotels that I have been to. Thereafter, I discovered that the TV channels available were so limited that I only could watch the BBC channel during my entire 3 days stay as the other available channels were local channels (i.e. TV1, TV2 and TV3....) . The housekeeping is also quite disappointing as they do not replenish or provide new bathroom amenities daily such as body shower gel or toothpaste..... Owh yeah, the hotel front desk shall also charge a deposit of RM100 per night of stay to your credit card and shall only return the amount to you within 7 or 14 working days time......

Sad with the vegetarian buffet breakfast and snacks. But overall the stay was nice.

It was really worth the money. But what's the down part (for me and my husband) is the buffet. We opted to select the room with free breakfast. We even stayed 3D2N. Sadly, the refresher food and breakfast are VEGETARIAN. This took us by surprise. I also noticed the other guests look dismayed. They still offer meat, however, they will charge you for it already.

Spacious room, the welcoming drinks and snacks are a plus. The pool is big and windy since it is at the rooftop, but the pool is not heated.

It’s very old and tired. My king size bed took the entire bedroom. I had to walk around the passage via the toilet and then the bathroom to get to the other side of the bed. There was not enough space to walk around the bed it’s self.

Location suitable for my purpose however the design and deco of the hotel does not suit . Cup is dirty.

We had a frostered window in our room that you could open. No window coverings on it. Room next door had a similar window and the light reflected through both glass and illuminated the bedroom whilst trying to sleep. Also the air conditioning unit outside the window was very loud switching in an off. Pretty noisy .

The location is great. It's connected with the huge mall. The room is spacious, worth the price. Variety of breakfast menu. The pool is ok, but it is located on 15 floor so it's a bit windy. Only the check-in that a bit hassle coz required a copy of passport for all guest but it's understandable for security purposes.

The room had a king size bed , only table lamp and one bed side table on one side of the bed . TV could only be watched from the edge of the bed . Cupboard doors could not be opened fore then 7" and doors open into the base of the bed . Paid for breakfast , but upon checking in asked to pay to sign up for breakfast although had prepaid for room and breakfast with Expedia .

There was nothing good about the property at all. the whole experience from check in to staying and check out was extremely terrible. i cannot express my dissatisfaction in words. we had issues while checking in as the reception told us that breakfast was not included although breakfast was included for one person in the confirmation received from Expedia. i have already brought this issue with Expedia. We had to deal with 3 different staff at check in and it just showed that the staff are either not trained properly or they just don't care. we were told that they have not received any notification from Expedia that breakfast was included and told us to contact Expedia to sort it out as this was not the hotels problem. Having traveled for nearly 12 hours, tired and with tired children, i then had to make several calls from my mobile to Expedia to try and sort this out. we were told by Expedia that they had spoken to the manager and it was sorted out but when we went to check-in again, we were told that nothing was sorted out. the Manager whom the Expedia staff spoke to refused to even talk to us let alone meet with us. We were then charged 130RMB per night for one extra bed. the bed was in a terrible condition. i will e-mail you the pictures separately as i cannot upload it here. I don't mind paying for extra but if a premium fee is charged then a premium service should be provided. The Aircon did not work in the room for the whole of our stay. the worst service ever.
