No hot water. They canceled my reservation. I couldn’t reach Expedia by phone to cancel. Spent two hours after a long day of travel.so I said I’ll take the room even tho no hot water. They said no they canceled my room. Threatened to call police and then after a two hour search I booked another room, crappie place. Very unhappy and I want a refund from Expedia.
Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds very clean rooms
Had a very nice stay.
It was great
3 words - Don’t stay here!
Check in was terrible, rooms outdated but the staff and employees are just rude and terrible people
The design of the room was pretty nice- definitely nicer than the rest of the hotel as the check in and hallways were very dated. Unfortunately the floors of my room were very dirty and I had dirt all over my feet walking around. I had the jacuzzi room and the jets had no obvious way of being turned on. I did not ask how to turn them on so I’m not sure if they actually worked or not but they should have a much more obvious way of doing so if they did. The shower controls were backwards (the hot controlled the cold & vice versa). The worst part was there were 2 baby cockroaches that came from somewhere in the bathroom. I couldn’t find a hole in the wall or any sign of other roaches but this was still very disturbing. Breakfast during the week ended at 10am which was very disappointing and I cannot comment on the food as I did not get to have any. Also there was no ice bucket even though there was an ice machine. I paid $400 for 2 nights which is entirely too much for a place that is dirty and outdated. Tru by Hilton is right down the street for very similar pricing (if not cheaper) and feels like luxury compared to this. I only booked here because Tru did not offer a jacuzzi room and I was sorely disappointed.
Friendly staff
It is nice little hotel. We had a problem with a chair in the room and they took care of it. I did let them know the water in the shower was hooked up wrong and they said they would take care of it. All in all it a good hotel. Fair price and good location.
Okay
Jacuzzi didn't work
No frills, basic lodging. staff was friendly and courteous & room was clean
We couldn't use the hottub the entire 1st day bc it wasn't cleaned a orange colored scum came out of the jets and caked up around the entire tub, i had to buy my own cleaner and clean it from top to bottom inside and out and run bleach thru it for a hour with jets on to kill whatever kind of bacteria was growing inside the internal system and being pushed out on us when we tried using it. The staff was unreasonably rude regarding booking the room for another day and bc i didn't have wifi i couldn't complete the booking before 11am, and while I was talking 2 baymont coorp they verbally refused to assist me and called the police 🚔 claiming we refuse to vacate the room. And it was untrue, i have never been treated that rudely by any establishment in 43 years living on this earth.
Unpleasant experience at Jackson MI hotel
The room was terribly dirty- everywhere hair and flies flying everywhere. The floor was not carpeted so it was very cold and not clean. We had to leave unexpectedly but site property had refused to refund. It was a terrible experience to spend the night in that hotel room. It is not for family definitely. I don’t know what policy they have about refunding but it seemed unfair. Wish hotel. Com can help me recover the remaining. Rina
It was clean, quiet, comfortable and has a Chinese restaurant across the street. Right off the highway and easy access to town.
My husband and I have stayed there many times. We like it.
Some water from the shower splashed onto the bathroom floor. My wife used a towel to dry it and when she was done the towel was absolutely filthy.
Good hotel for the money
The room is very clean, the bed was somewhat comfortable, the customer service was excellent!
Ok
Got into town earlier than expected and needed a room, found this location. Room seemed a little dated and warm. Staff was great and welcoming. Breakfast was adequate nothing spectacular.
Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.
The front desk staff put us in an occupied room.
Adequate
Quite basic accommodation with many signs of heavy use. Location very close to busy freeway and noise a major factor for rooms on that side. Our room was OK - bed good and pretty clean but absolutely no extras or upgrades. Functional but uninspiring...
Very nice
The staff was really nice and helpful
This place needs to be renovated or shut down. Why would the front desk associate ask for my partners name when I checked in??? We were offended by that and should have realized what a poorly run hotel we had just entered. Room was outdated and filthy. Hot tub room cost $201 a night. Bathroom was filthy dirty and didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. We were left four hand towels and two floor mats. NO TOWELS. Asked for towels. Nobody came. We were getting ready to leave our room at 11:10am. Check out time was 11am. The maintenance man came and pounded on the door and told us we had four mins to leave or they were going to call the police. Completely uncalled for and extremely rude. When we asked to speak with the manager she said "that's our policy". My partner called several customer service numbers and was transferred and hung up on at least five times. This location is RIGHT near several NEWER hotels and I believe if they continue to treat people like this, they will be run out of business. We normally stay at Baymonts because we enjoy the hot tub rooms and we have never had an issue. We own a business with 32 employees and we will no longer book lodging at your hotels. Whoever this franchiser is should be ashamed and disgusted by the characters working at their establishment.
Good location
Room was clean
Clean room, friendly staff good price
Average, place to sleep
The check in clerk was argumentative and basically making an effort to be as bothesome as possible. The entire concept of customer service seems to not be grasped by this individual. I felt unwelcome and definitely unwanted. The clerks idea of helpful was simply to insist that although it has been quite a few years since I've traveled and had an overnight stay that I would have been perfectly understanding if the idea that when I prepaid for my room in advance that I should have the stupidity to not read the fine print and understand that there would still have to be more funds paid(upon checkin)that should've been perfectly anticipated and welcomed by me. My past experiences years ago were mostly with corporate stays and there was never deposits required, incidentally because if that was the case I personally did not have to handle it
I was completely satisfied
the clerk started an argument about politics, then he tried putting me in a king room. he said that was what i reserved. when i told him i had the copy of the reservation, he stated oh thats right we ran out of double queen rooms so i had to upgrade you. i told him i was leaving and needed my charge reversed and he refused saying he was unable to do that. i will be contesting the charge with the hotel.
I understand there is only 2 floors, but for the prices charged the property should have an elevator. The carpet in the stairwell needs changing or removed because it’s so dirty. The rooms described on website are not the appearance of the actual room (false advertisement).
Bathrooms need updating. Beds were awesome and rooms are clean.
When we entered the property to check in, there was a strong smoke smell.
Loud and needs updates.
Old, outdated, no elevator, molded smell.
All ok
Typical hotel stay
Everything was good. The breakfast wasn't great and protein options were unappealing, but staff was helpful and friendly and the beds very comfortable.
The bed was decently comfortable, seems very worn. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The cable TV selection was good, no complaints there. The shower had limited pressure due to a bad gasket on the spigot. Only 1 trash can in the room, nothing near the bathroom or vanity area, inconvenient. The biggest complaint was that the AC handler would not go below 72* which made just the fan run a lot and blow out smelly air, room was obnoxiously warm at 72*. The breakfast was interesting, seems like they reuse their products for a few days at a time. Stale and hard products. Overall the service was good, the rest was below par.
Tiny dirty run down lobby water all over floor, reception guy mopping up after checking-in, I asked wher the elevator was to the 2nd floor and was informed the total has no elevator. Room was 1950’s basic. Room was cold. Had to turn off the system as the tem adjustment would not respond. Sheet metal wrapped the base of the bed and made noise every time you laid down or got up. One bright spot was the had towels looked brand new. I definitely do NOT recommend. Heed my warning.
I'm still at the property. I can't get any sleep because the walls are so thin. I can hear 3 different TV's right now. I can literally hear the guy above me taking a dump. Not even heading to the destination I traveled here for because this hotel ruined the trip. Demolish this hotel.
Zero Stars!
I am very disappointed with the quality of this hotel. There was a very strong, pungent smell of urine in the room, there were bugs flying around the room, the shower, floors and sink were dirty, the toilet seat was diacolored and broken, the bathroom door looked like it was from the 80’s and completely destroyed at the bottom, and the main door did not fit properly. When lights are off, you could see a very large gap with the hallway light shining through almost all the way around. Walls are paper thin and you could hear conversations above you and in the next room over. The only good thing was that the staff was pleasant and the bed was clean.
Nice staff
Nice and clean. No smell. Would go again
Looked outdated and really empty from the outside because you pull in from around the back of the building but our room was really nice, comfortable, and clean. Bed did have some springs that were going bad I think, made loud noises getting in and out. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.
.
Close to the freeways. Friendly staff.
Very nice and courteous staff.
As soon as you walk through the doors of the lobby, it immediately smelled like stale cigarettes. There is no elevator, so you're climbing stairs with all your stuff. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, making metal noises every time - we moved. Came to find out the mattress was literally sitting on top of springs with no box cover. The room was hot, the pillows were gross. The hotel doesn't provide any extra blankets even though the comforter was as thin as a sheet of paper. The "fitness facility" consisted of a treadmill, a bike, an elliptical, and a weight machine, but again smelled like stale cigarettes and was the size of a walk-in closet. The only positive I can say is that the staff was tremendously friendly and was either very apologetic when they couldn't service needs or very upbeat if we had questions.
Proximity to today's business
The air conditioner is not cooling, there are no clean towels, everything is dirty even the toilet seat is not fastened.
Smelled of marijuana. Floors made bare feet black even when showering every day
It was agood 2 day stay quiet and relaxing i do believe they need to update their jacuzzi tubs
I canceled my reserved room after I was told i needed a $100 deposit in cash. I didnt even recognize the building at first. It is more run down than pictured.
This hotel stole my money and lied to me
Well it was horrible too many hidden fees.I spent the last $80 to my name.Running a room through hotels.com.They never mentioned any hidden fees or a $100 room deposit.Neither did the website to this hotel.I will never stay at this Hotel again I never even got my money back.I was lied to by the hotel.Staff and hotels.com.Never don't spend your money here ever
Do not stay here- they will refuse to refund
Staff are very unpleasant and refuse to allow you to check in if your booking name does not match your license exactly. Don’t book for a loved one or use an abbreviated name or they won’t let you check in. Then they redicule you, tell you to change booking and when that can’t be done they refuse to refund you even though they did not provide the service. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and it should be removed from the choice of bookings as they do not care about their customers and instead prefer to take your money and not provide a room.
Staff is disrespectful and rude
Good trip, no issues
Very friendly staff.
A little difficult getting to property. It was quite except when someone flushed.
Close to restaurant
The room stunk. I sure it was the shower curtain needed to be replaced. Tile is broken. The bathroom and entry way needs a remodel. Carpet in hallway needs to be replaced. Otherwise great stay.
Mr Williams, the man who checked me out portrayed excellent customer service skills. He was kind and an all-around great conversationalist. You are very lucky to have him. even thanked me for working so hard. You are very lucky to have him working for you.
Travelodge in Jackson Suxs so I stayed at Baymount
When I arrived I told the guy with dreads at the front desk that Travelodge canceled my reservation so now I'm here! He said "Say no more! Welcome to Baymount!" My stay was comfortable except the walls were a little thin. In the morning I could hear a dog yipping across the hall. Poor puppy! Breakfast was great! Most hotels I've stayed at the waffle maker burns the waffles. This waffle maker was perfect! I also enjoyed watching all the murder mysteries on the cable tv when I wasn't at my pool tournament. Sadly my team lost our bid for Vegas! Great stay overall will definitely stay again if I get another shot at LTCS!
It was clean friendly staff breakfast was fresh and good.
I like the girl working there she is so nice knew what she was doing made me feel comfortable help me out the best she could that was wonderful. You should serve that breakfast later..
It was a very pleasant stay, very pleasant staff
Expensive
Room needed updating
Our actual room was definitely not as pictured on the website when I made the reservation, so that was very misleading. Room was quite run down, definitely needed some updating. Only thing updated was the flooring in the sleeping area. Cleanliness was alright, considering the condition.
everything was good.
Very comfortable stay
Stopped here for the night to get some sleep before driving further on a road trip. Clean and quiet with friendly and engaging staff both at checkin and checkout. Great value for the great price.
Everything was great except the remote control didn’t work and the young man on second shift said he’d come fix it and never did…the girl on third shift was amazing and tried to fix it
Fantastic
Stay was pretty good. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Syron and Caryn were very helpful and friendly.
Perfect
Our stay was short but everything was great
OK for the price
Decent property for the price. Breakfast was adequate. Just OK.
It was clean
We were only staying for one night, and the room was clean. Breakfast was available in the morning. The property was average.
House keeping was yelling outside our room when we had a do not disturb on our door handle.
It was a great stay. I felt safe in my room and when I realized I forgot my toothpaste they were able to assist and had a small package to give me that lasted for two days.
Could be better
I liked the room but the decor colors are dated. There was mold on the shower curtain, and someone elses towel still hanging on the bathroom door. No hot coffee was made at anytime.
Good value, nice room. Great pub with live music next door. Pet friendly, but could have included information about the additional $25 fee and $100 security deposit on their website.
Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful and nice. I'd never been to this location prior but I would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back and stay again! One of my complaints when I stay at a hotel or motel is the quality of The TV lol I have to say that they had really good TV service. The TV wasn't cheap. The picture was great. Hi def. Lastly, the Continental breakfast was amazing. Biscuits and gravy bacon plus some other things. Five stars!
Are room smelled like dirty clothes/ mold. The bed was way too hard . We did not sleep at all. The shower did not really work. We did like the dove soap. We were told that there was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast and it was the saddest thing in the world we've ever seen.there was none at all. The coffee was nasty and Bert that they did offer.
Spacious and clean, quiet at night. We enjoyed the morning breakfast that is included.
Clean and comfortable
Room was clean and comfortable. Did not like the idea of having a $100 deposit
Our stay was great. The staff was amazing and they made us feel welcome as well as my dogs.
Refund
I need a refund I was not able to get room key due to the fact of a deposit fee I knew nothing abt so I paid almost a 100 dollars just to be told I could not have my room please reach out to me
It has been a great stay. Everything is comfortable and everyone has been polite and accommodating
A little dusty but very noticeable
Yes good
You get what you pay for. Outdated property that needs upgrading. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room and bathroom were clean. Location was convenient. Only cold breakfast available.
rude staff , broken bed
I was not impressed thar 2 floor's and no elevator also state they served breakfast and only microwavable items to give out for breakfast old and not updated building
Amazing beds - need to put other than tissue thick blanket in duvet
all was A-OK
Room was dirty and the people upstairs were stomping so loud
I would like to commend the staff. Especially Karen., the manager,....She is the best.......
decent
Staff at the front desk was great and friendly. We didn't like the curtains blowing above the heater. The TV was not working in the workout room.
