Very nice hotel, clean

I loved the art theme.

Breakfast voucher was applied towards purchase. Was misleading that breakfast was included when you purchased the voucher.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel.

Upper lounge and pool area. Valet parking with excellent and courteous valets.

Excessive fees but good hotel

My review of 2 stars was not a reflection of the service or the hotel itself. It’s for charging $40 for valet and a $28 host fee. These charges are way too excessive

Great location, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle for local trips which was very nice. I would definitely visit again.

Staff was Amazing- Cleanliness was Wonderful

Everything was great- the frontdesk agent who checked me in was just a doll... There was a tiny delay- maybe bc i booked through a third party, but she couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I wish i had gotten her name. The only issue with my stay was as nice as my room was, the head board was damaged- lots of rips - made it look unsightly. I was surprised to see it in such poor condition

Fair price, exxept resort fee was a bit much without many resort features. Pool? Should be standard. Welcome cocktail not good. Thats it! Maybe the onsite art expo, which was nice to see.

It was a great hotel for my business trip, but I didnt have the chance to use most o fhe things included in the destination fee.

In general, almost everything in the hotel was at a decent level, with the exception of the elevators. Only one elevator worked all these days and this wait was very annoying.

Great location and hotel. Very convenient to many restaurants, shops, and theater. Lovely rooftop pool and bar.

Options to park were not offered. Only one elevator the entire stay. Difficulty with pool access due to private events. Very loud music too late into the night.

Amazing, very helpful and friendly staff; shuttle to the beach with chairs, umbrella and towels is the best thing with kids. Bathroom amenities are divine. Walkable distance to all restaurants and cafes. Best location and very clean place to stay with valet parking. We are coming back.

This modern comfortable hotel is in a sensational setting in a walkable neighborhood with art, performance theatres, restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance.

Excellent overall

Nice hotel, great vibe/concept. Property, especially rooms are tired and could use moderate refresh but it’s a good hotel value and by no means terrible.

In the heart of the performing arts area. Many cafes within a short distance. Comfortable, clean and accommodating.

Nice hotel, great bars and restaurants all around. Very walkable. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely central locations to stay in beautiful Sarasota. Rooms were very nice, clean, well stocked. Valet drivers were very friendly and the food was pleasantly delicious.

As a client of this Airlines for years will suggest that the employs were more focus on the passenger, were the back pags, small bags, must be store, service,...etc and talk less between them

Average stay considering the large price tag

Great stay& sleep but poor service & charged for in room snacks that were not consumed and only after we departed, and after final bills were settled then re raised hours later and not worth the hassle of calling back and wasting time arguing about extra charges for snacks that were clearly not consumed at all. Lesson for those staying, confirm that no items were consumed at checking out and settling bills, otherwise you will be charged. Other guests were raising the same issue at check out as they had been wrongly charged too. Great hotel, location wise (downtown Sarasota) and main reason for staying, the other issue was the pool being out of action, but not informed until checking in despite hotel being aware well in advance of the stay due to NY celebrations and not maintenance, but hotel over priced for the amenities considering even drinking water that was provided was charged (but we never used) in the room, most budget hotels offer this basic item for free. Coffee amenities within reception were empty at 1000am after the morning rush, overall, despite fancy soap in the room, not worth the extra charges and the price tag.

Disappointed-stains on the floors throughout carpets, no where to hang your towels, (bathroom very disappointing), charged for water, charged for the robes, no glasses to drink water in the room. It wasn’t a user friendly room at all.

An elegant and hip modern hotel, with an upscale vibe, in the center of downtown, and close to everything. The top floor bar offers excellent service and great views of the city.

It’s a clean functional hotel in downtown Sarasota location is good. Roof pool is fine it’s just a shame the reception areas are so soulless . As are the bedrooms just functional but bland and with ugly black bathroom furniture

Unfortunately our room had new caulking in the shower which had a strong odor and both headboards were quite damaged and not inviting to see Otherwise this is a beautiful hotel

Friendly staff.

Every employee we talked with was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Valet, front desk, wait staff. It’s a beautiful property w art everywhere. Rooftop bar was nice. Just keep in mind you pay w credit card, Apple Pay. You cannot charge to your room.

We travelled with our 5-yo son and he loved the top floor pool. Hotel location is excellent.. We parked over night in a garage crossing the street and did not have to use the expensive valet service.

Love the hotel, good coffee in room and swimming in the rooftop pool. Nice bar and restaurant. Be prepared to pay $39 to park and a LOT of resort fees though. Check that total before thinking it is a good deal.

Quick stay but worth it

We absolutely loved this hotel and the art! We had no issues during our stay and will be back again. Parking is a little expensive because it’s valet only but there’s public parking around the area.

This is the second tim win two weeks we have stayed. The first visite had problems and this visite had more. The toilet did not work as well as the shower. Instead of offering a new room, they sent maintenance to repair. Never was repaired! Towels were worn and thinning. Water damage in shower ceiling which was not repaired. Very disappointed in the property as it could have so much to offer!

Set back in a lovely quiet neighborhood with shops and restaurants within walking distance, this tranquil, cosy spot is within easy reach of St Armand's Circle, a favorite area of shops and restaurants, just across the causeway bridge.

We took a quick 4 day getaway from Miami to Sarasota before the start of school. Pros: location is excellent and very walkable to restaurants, park, ice cream etc. The staff was very friendly and quick to assist. The art around the hotel was a sophisticated touch. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. Cons: we requested connecting rooms and despite confirming ahead of time they were not available when we arrived. We had to spend the first night in different rooms than we booked (2 queens, not king and queen), which were also not connecting. We then moved the second night. While the staff ultimately corrected it and were apologetic, it was inconvenient having to pack up 5 people and move. We were also not offered cocktails at check in (explicitly listed as part of the $200 “destination fee” for our stay) and there was no complimentary waters in our rooms. The mini fridges weren’t working properly.

The welcome drinks are the best. However, maintenance is needed on the headboards as they are aging and may soon need replacing. Otherwise, I love this hotel.

All was perfect except the main restaurant needs to expand the menu for more food options..

Good for family with kids , family with teens may need to check thoroughly for fun activities before coming to the area in general

Outstanding staff and hotel

Really enjoyable hotel. We were there for a funeral. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. I need to give a shout out to Inkar Zakariadze. She is the assistant Director of the front office. She went above and beyond normal expectations. I hope that the Art Ovation management will recognize her outstanding performance. We have stayed at the Westin, the Hyatt, Embassy suites. And this is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Thank you!

Great location to adventure in downtown Sarasota

Fantastic location! Hotel staff was absolutely amazing. Room was comfortable and clean. Our floor hallway lost power but room and AC was fully functional.

We loved everything about this hotel except for one interaction with staff. Our friends had a wedding in the evening, and afterwards just four of us went back to the room for cake. We were all talking, but no yelling or loud music. We had a bang on the door and a rude staff member telling us to be quiet or they would call the cops on us. Our newly wed friends had to leave our room because apparently talking is not allowed past a certain hour at night. I found this approach to be unnecessarily aggressive. There are much better ways to go about asking someone to keep it down. I was very disappointed with that experience.

Really nice hotel in a great area. Lots of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. Comfortable bed and plenty of space in our room. We loved all of the art in the hotel and enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar. Valet was quick whenever we requested our car. One suggestion is that they upgrade their toilet paper, amenities were nice except for that.

Gorgeous, artistic, well kept property. Will stay here again while in Sarasota. Very classy and uniquely decorated!!!! I wish my dog could have come with me, but she passed away after I booked and before our scheduled stay. She would have loved the property, as well!!!

While we appreciate that formal check in is at 4pm, our itinerary meant we arrived at 12 noon. Despite being bold twice our rom would be ready in an hour or so we only got access at 4pm.

I've been in this hotel before, however I noticed some details such the furniture doesn't look new anymore, same as shower and bedroom. I really dislike the fact that every time the air conditioner started, it sounded like airplane turbine. It was very lound.
