This place had a very dirty bathroom which really made me uncomfortable with my stay, the tile in the shower had mildew and Grime I couldn’t believe this was a hotel in Doha. The reviews were good, but once I got to the property, I wasn’t happy. I was just there for one night. I just decided to bite the bullet.

room door was damaged lock malfunctioning / wallpaper coming off the wall and overall poor hygiene staff change room to a better one that helped

Amazing customer service by all staff... always ready to help.. great communication skills..very neat and well organised property. Room cleaned everyday... i would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Wonderful staff. Mohammed on check-in was great. I had a long layover, so checked in at 7am and out at 8pm. Hotel clean, all the staff super helpful.

The hotel over all was excellent but with many faults. No tea kettle in my room. The espresso machine had to be replace along with the fridge both was not working when I checked in. The living room also not working and internet was very week. So disappointed. I had to call ever day to fix or replace something. I was been disturb every day of my 3 nights stayed. I like to enter and have everything working. Looks like they don’t check as guess check out. Or my room was not used for a time. I read very good reviews on this hotel before I booked. Very disappointed.

I stay 5 nights. Hotel is nice. Staff friendly. Room with window, my room on roadside. Some noise. Leather tray rotted. The shampoo and gel and lotion and toothbrush and past more than my expectations, outstanding quality and fragrance! Will stay again ! Thanks to all

It was fantastic hotel .. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom is very clean.. The Ac perfect.. the location is fine.. Negative We found red stain in the carpet.. as of that they have upgraded our room to free breakfast.. thanks alot of that

The property did not meet the expectations from the photos. There was a lot of photo trickery involved. The room i got was nothing like the photos. I checked out the next day asked for a refund for the rest of the stay, which the hotel refused to give. My stay was for 9 nights and they charged me for all 9, even i had left the hotel after the first night due to being extremely disappointed in the cleanliness and state of the hotel.

Very happy with my 10 night stay at Zubarah Boutique Hotel. Staff were friendly, and professional. Very safe, for solo travel if you are a woman. Restaurant food is first class, and tasty. Great location, Turkish restaurants are close, and convenience store to pick up Juice, crackers etc. Nice first trip during a Pandemic.

This is my second stay in this hotel. Good location and staff are very helpful.room was beautiful and very clean,very comfortable bed.good continental breakfast. However on arrival to hotel there was no one to take my luggage to reception.i had to carry both of my luggage to main reception from outside. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel and I would recommend to anyone.

Great Service

Customer service and place were super good especially for the price but I was sick everyday after breakfast until each evening all to do it over the next day. I avoided anything different and kept it plain but still had stomach problems daily.

As always, this is my 5th stay, the rooms were always cleaned, hotel staff was friendly and helpful with anything i needed.

Unlike a lot of hotels in Doha City, the Zubarah has some local infrastructure near by: restaurants, mini-supermarkets, a gym, a cafe, a hospital, an ATM... Hotel itself all good: breakfast/dinner, rooms, staff and service.

Wonderful Hotel

Very nice, full-service hotel with a delicious restaurant. We only spent one night in transit from the US to Africa but it was a wonderful stop-over. We were concerned about our luggage missing our connection out the next morning, told them of our concern, and they called the airline and ensured that all was well. The breakfast they served us was massive and delicious. Seems to be in a pleasant location but we did not get out and walk much. We got a great hotels.com rate for this hotel. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Everything was great! It is a comfortable hotel for short staying and their staff was friendly. basement parking is very tight in entrance and exit and could affect your vehicle.

Excellent cozy hotel! Top notch and excellent service from the receptionist, to room service, to front desk, to greeters, and all others! I recommend this hotel to all people who love sleep but also swift customer service!

Make arrangements for a shuttle well before your trip. Some confusion w/transportation to the hotel but overall it was a great stay for our short time there.

Great and clean rooms. Servant and staff were amazing. However, the GYM needs more attention and its TV cable needs to be fixed.

Great for a long layover in Doha

The driver greeted me with my name on a sign (there is an additional charge for this service, which was really easy to set up through the Hotels.com messaging), and our trip was about 20 minutes, due to some traffic. The hotel was very nice, and I was greeted like a queen. Check in was smooth and easy. I was handed a glass of juice, then promptly escorted to my room. It was neat, clean, and full of amenities: robes, slippers, toiletry items, and a plate of fresh fruit. There was also complimentary water. The only real issue with the room was the blinds were not designed to close fully, meaning the room was not completely dark. And although it is “strictly” a non-smoking hotel, people were definitely smoking. When this was mentioned to the front desk, I was told that the locals do not care and smoke anyway!

Wonderful property, great breakfast, attentive staff. Very first class. Location is good. You have to take a cab anywhere you stay in Doha as things aren’t centralized, so why not do it from a hotel where the doorman flags one down and isn’t looking for tips. $4-7 to the Souq depending on the time of day. Make sure you take their physical address and part of town with you, some cab drivers don’t know the hotel.

Excellent hotel with excellent kind staff

Excellent staff Very helpful and go out of their way- thanks to Gyan, Mondier, Vishal, Imran, Donald and the rest of team for making my stay comfortable. Hotel were also kind to offer a late check out. Only negative is the breakfast was not in a buffet style and it was difficult to know exactly what was available as we were given english or mediterranean option but it was difficult to select specific items as there was no specific menu. Also we were often given too much bread and extra food items when requested not too as we do not like to waste food. However this was a small negative compared to all the other excellent positives. I will definitely be back here to stay.. To add the hotel is wheelchair accessible and we had a walk in shower with a stool provided. However door width to bathroom was narrow and will be a tight squeeze to get in for a wheelchair user.

Fantastic staff. So friendly and helpful. They helped me so much by allowing me to have an extra, extra late checkout. So much better than carting luggage around in 52 degree heat while waiting for a flight time! The room was beautiful and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was also delicious. Can not recommend more highly. Will definitely stay again on any Doha stopovers.

Very Nice Hotel!

The Zubarah is a very nice updated hotel with a good location. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very modern. They have underground parking as well as a few spots out front. I will stay at this hotel every time I am in Doha.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME. A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

Booked junior suite room but on arrival I was upgraded free to suite room and I was also given complimentary late checkout till 1830 which was a real bonus for me as my flight leaves 2300 from Doha.hotel staff are so friendly and helpful.room was absolutely clean,very comfortable bed with beautiful bathroom.you can visit most tourist attractions by taxi which doesn’t cost more than 15 Qatari riyals.nice and tasty breakfast. 5 mind walk from raddison blu hotel but in my opinion Zubarah hotel is far more better than raddison.i like to Thanks everyone in this hotel for making my stay so comfortable.no wonder why this hotel have so many positive reviews from every hotel booking website.if you’re looking to book this hotel my only advice to you is close your eyes and just book it. I promise you will not regret.

Great place (except gym)

The hotel staff was amazing. They greeted us with cold juice, gave us a map and visiting suggestions. The staff from the dining area were also kind and alert to everyone's needs...and the breakfast had a great selection of foods which tasted really well. The bathroom was really modern-looking and the shampoo and shower gel smelled great. There were plenty free gratuities in the bathroom, pretty much anything you would ever need there. The only big disappointment was the gym which had a very limited set of machines in a tight space. Other small issues during our stay were: lights kept flickering during one of the nights but then they stopped-not sure if they got fixed but it was a temporary issue, and the iron boards (both the first and the second one we got) had a small sharp metal coming out on the round edge which pulled on my clothes when trying to iron. But these are small things which can be easily fixed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was well worth it.

Lovely hotel in Doha

The hotel is lovely and kept up beautifully. The staff could not have been more accommodating...always kind...always helpful... and extremely courteous. We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Zubarah and highly recommend it.

Outstanding service!

The service at the Zubarah was outstanding from check-in to check-out. Room was relatively small but the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good with a good mix of local food and general breakfast items. Only drawback is the location is a little out of the way from downtown and the Corniche/souq areas, but taxis in Doha are very reasonably priced.

Personalized service

The staff was exceptionally attentive, kind and even remembered my name. They arranged transportation and were knowledgable about the city. The quality and value are excellent, while the only downside is that the neighborhoods of Doha are not particularly walkable. But variety in food and nightlife can be found within a 10-minute walk or short cab ride in the huge, more homogenous nearby hotels (where rooms are more expensive with less amenities) and downtown. I'd certainly stay again - it's encouraging to know there is heart and soul in the hotel industry.

Great quality compacted.

I like the idea to be in a very nice hotel without having to walk across big spaces as it normally is for every 5 stars hotels. This one is relatively small for Doha, but everything is impeccable.

Over night get away

It was a night out to get away from work. I do this once a month and as always it is a great place to relax and just chill out. Staff tends to your needs right away, the room service food was excellent, Great Steak.

Believe the reviews, this place is outstanding

Sometimes you get a highly-rated hotel on here and you wonder how it got that rating. That's not the case here. Zubarah is exceptional in just about every respect. I really can't fault it. And I can't think of another hotel I can say that about. My room was the smallest on the floorplan, but it was perfectly sized. Bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully appointed, with everything you could imagine. Even loofahs. Service was exceptional throughout. I'd booked a pickup car. When it arrived at the hotel, the Ugandan bellboy greeted me by name, saying he'd been following the progress of my arriving flight from Africa. Breakfast amazing, loads of choice, as a vegetarian the chef helped me with the very wide selection. Location could be better, it's away from downtown. More plug sockets would be good, to charge laptop and phone simultaneously. Face cloths/towels were absent, I guess because of the loofahs. If these are the only criticisms I can find, there's nothing wrong with this place at all. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks for an exceptional trip, everyone at Zubarah.

Perfect hotel

This hotel is very nice. Rooms are very clean, all you need is there and staff are very helpful,polite and nice. There is a place close to the hotel about three blocks with coffee shops which you can spend the time there and You will enjoy the breakfast and the coffee is out of this world, perfect.

Great hotel.

Absolutely fantastic boutique hotel. it boasts two restaurants, a spa, meeting rooms and a small gym. It doesn't have an alcohol license at the time of writing (October 2014) - Although, as consolation the Radisson Blu is across the road (10 min walk). I booked in for an Executive Suite; although I was put in the largest Junior Suite (308). I was told there was no difference between my room and rooms on the 4th floor. The room was immaculate. It got serviced up to 3 times a day; depending on whether you were in or you wanted it serviced while you were there. In the evening service they draw the curtains and prepare your bed with the covers drawn back. Great little touches like that separate this from the many chains I've ever stayed in. I'd highly recommend this hotel, it's utterly gorgeous inside and out.

Exceptional Hotel in Doha

Every detail, from the service to the décor, pillows, bath products and amenities make this one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. When checking in I asked where I could find some Super Glue. They brought some to my room in a very short period of time, and I wasn't even charged for it. Again, service is over-the-top, with sincere smiles. I can't wait to come back to Doha and stay at Zubarah!
