Nice property close to the train station; clean and tidy rooms; staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice stay
My family and I only stayed here 1 night because we had a long layover in Copenhagen so we did not spend too much time in the hotel, but we slept very well and the room was very comfortable. I would stay here again if I make a longer trip to Copenhagen. Staff was very friendly.
Basic, and wet.
Very small room, very basic. Had to lean over bed to open bathroom door, easy to bash head or arms on TV hanging from the wall right by the door. Bathroom has shower essentially over the toilet, so always water everywhere, over toilet roll, toilet, towels. Shower curtain doesn't cover anything. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating.
Overall everything cost! Doesn’t feel like a VIP property as they don’t acknowledge and don’t offer anything unless asked! Not welcoming either! For the price paid I would definitely stay somewhere else
Clean and cozy room. I would want to use the property again if I visit Copenhagen again.
This hotel was in the perfect location for us. Everything was walkable, we felt safe and despite other reviews our room was very quiet! Would recommend! The coffee shop across the street was also lovely!
I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms were small but the bed was very comfy - it was very close to the train station, though I usually rented bikes from the hotel to get around. It was very quiet in the room despite being on a fairly busy street. Dixie at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat nearby, but be aware they close around 8:30-9. I had one instance of a person following me into the hotel and trying to follow me to my room, so while Copenhangen is a very safe city - you still need to be aware. Would definitely recommend!
Its a budget hotel chain. B&B and a bar only. Eveything else will need a short walk. Easy access to Metro and train staion. Staff helpful and polite. Location great for most tourist trips and travel. Bit noisy outside as near student and party areas. 4th time i have used this chain when in Denmar and happy to recommend
The shower is so small that your body keeps rubbing against the questionable shower curtain. No iron, no cups or glasses in room, one pillow, and they don’t keep your luggage for you. Location was very close to main train station which was the best part. Toilet is right under where you put your stuff. Spacious room
Great location near Central station. Easy self check in. A simple room for sleeping and showering. Chrome cast was a nice touch. No air conditioning so it was warm, but the windows opened and there was a good fan. Clean, bed was comfy.
Flawless experience
Like: Very clean and quiet. Don’t like: Small bathroom, no facial tissue. No hair conditioner. No complimentary coffee or tea. Small electric fan, not enough to cool the room.
Single night in Zleep
Very convenient close to main station and room was comfortable althoguh not that big. However, there is no aircon, fridge, coffee making facility or safe which would be a welcome addition
Place was tight
It was quite a spacious room for the 3 of us and suited our needs for our 3 night stay. It was within easy walking distance to many sites. The street was noisy but the room had really good windows that shut out the noise when closed.
Shower over the toilet
Showering over your toilet is not the best, getting out to adjust it and turn it off also impractical. Beds were camping stretchers that constantly moved. Worst room ever, pay extra and go anywhere else
Friendly staff, safe, walkable
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. it was very close by to the train station and was easily walkable to central locations. Overall, we enjoyed the view of the street from our room, the nice big windows, and the comfort of feeling safe here.
Not recommend for travelers with big luggage
Solo travellers short changed
Location was amazing. Close to the central train station. Room was great comfortable bed clean room. Amenities and ensuite was good. My main concern was the lack of bedding and towel’s because she I was travelling by myself. Only two small towels left out for me. Only one pillow made up with a pillowcase. Found another in the bottoms of a drawer. And to top it off only a single sized doona for a queen size bed. It just makes you feel like you are second class just cos you are travelling solo. Definitely be back to Copenhagen. Will think twice about this chain of hotels in the future.
Was ok. Would not stay again
Friendly staff, clean room and good location.. I highly recommend this hotel.
While the hotel was in a great location, clean and with a great staff, I was greatly disappointed by the room size and lack of basic amenities for the price I paid. My single room was extremely tiny, which didn’t bother me as much as the lack of a safe, facial tissues, lotion, air conditioning, lotion, etc. Having paid more than $500 for two nights, I expected better.
Room very spacious for family of 4.
Booked a triple room to share with family, however upon arrival we were told they had overbooked. We had two options single rooms across multiple floors or stay in an alternative hotel which was a train ride away! We’d booked this hotel specifically for its location and as a family travelling with a child we were unhappy but obliged to single rooms as the child is 17. We were offered breakfast the next day free of charge for the inconvenience and a drink whilst we waited for the rooms to be sorted. After having our drinks the receptionist tried to tell us they were instead of the breakfast the next day and this was no longer included which we argued and got back as it was not clear when accepting the drinks this was instead of the breakfast being added to our rooms. Frustrating but a misunderstanding which was resolved. We then went to our rooms, at which point we found my room was ALREADY OCCUPIED!! We were shocked to find the inhabitants belongings all over the room which if we were so inclined could have stolen! We immediately reported this to reception and were met with rudeness from the staff. Hugely disappointing following the previous issue and severity of the mistake. It’s a shame as the hotel itself was lovely and well situated but the staffs reaction was well below expectation and we all worried about leaving our belongings in our rooms following the mistake. We all make mistakes but the staff was rude and not apologetic for the error which could have been much wors
Great!
Very good experience.
Very good value. Staff were always very pleasant and helpful.
Basic hotel which needed a few tweaks
Room was basic but ok, the big thing letting it down was the curtains were paper thin and may have well not existed! Which isn’t helpful with a small child as it woke her up as soon as the sun came up. The toilet needed cleaning as it was stained. Additionally it was very loud outside which made it hard to sleep.
Convient location.
Hotel is very tired. Worn carpets and poor quality decor. Not sure how it has 3 stars. Overpriced based on quality.
This is a nice location with a friendly staff.
Breakfast was fair but cute property. Noisy area
Enjoyed my stay
Good location and good price
The staff were very friendly, the room was fine, and the hotel is situated in a good location too.
Avoid Zleep Hotel
Avoid Zleep Hotel My stay at Zleep Hotel in Aug/2023 was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly caution anyone to avoid Zleep Hotel. 1. Weak Water Stream: The most glaring problem was the outrageously weak water stream in the shower. It was so feeble that taking a proper shower was nearly impossible. 2. Despite booking a room for three people, we were greeted with a double bed and what can only be described as a child-sized bed, barely 10 cm high. This arrangement was incredibly uncomfortable and unsuitable for adults. 3. Poorly Designed Shower: The shower in our room had a curtain that refused to close properly. This resulted in water splashing all over the bathroom floor every time we took a shower. 4. Lack of Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the shower was far from satisfactory. It was evident that the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned. 5. Noise Levels: The noise from the surrounding environment was beyond bearable. If you attempted to close the window to mitigate the noise, you were left with no ventilation and no air conditioning. 6. Zleep Hotel is situated in an area with a deeply unsettling atmosphere at night. The presence of street prostitutes and strip clubs nearby created an extremely uncomfortable environment. 7. Prices: To add insult to injury, the hotel charged an exorbitant $285 USD for just 2 nights. When I requested compensation for the abysmal conditions, the hotel management callously declined my request.
Very outdated hotel.I think the hotels from third world countries are better than this hotel.wont staying here again.very dissatisfied
The property is good, the staff are nice it close to the train station, but the bathrooms are very small and the rooms could do with more hoovering
Disappointing stay
Really disappointed with our stay. Arrived and checked into a room with a constantly running toilet. Let management know to which response was ''hmmm no other rooms, sorry". No offer to get it fixed nor any sort of apology. Fire alarm at 11:30pm, outside for 20-30 mins then carted back inside, no explanation or apology, no clarification actually safe! Then back inside for one of the worst nights sleep - running toilet, really loud outside, unbearable hot room (there is a large fan but very noisy and doesn't abate the warmth much, if at all ). Shower in morning hopeless, mainly due to running water from toilet, with a gush from the toilet either scolding or freezing you. Shower also isn't enclosed, only shower curtain in tiny room so whole toilet gets flooded. Put our foot down the next morning and had a much more helpful gentleman helping us and managed to get another room. Shower somehow worse in this room however, with next to no hot water and only a trickle of water, a smaller bathroom, and room even warmer than room before. Overall, an exhausting stay in a hotel that had so much promise - great location, and cheapest price. Would definitely pay more for a good night's sleep in future!!
Everyone at Zleep was friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for better service.
Basic sleep
Rooms are very small, just basics, no air conditioning, no tissue.
Staff is helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and i liked the secure lockers to store my luggage before checkin.
I liked that ot was close to the traon station and the city centre. I didn't loke there being no tea and coffee malpking facilities in my room
The hotel was nice, exactly like in the pictures. The area is noisy, a lot of parties, police coming every night for fights. In the good side, close to the train stations.
Don’t stay here. The sheets and pillow cases smelled of someones stinky body odor. It was so loud at night. A lot of homeless people outside the hotel.
I enjoyed my stay at Zleep hotel. I went to a nice Danish restaurant near by, and the Grand Central station was a block away. So convenient!!
The hotel is in a horrible neighborhood. Homeless camp right across the street, with drugs, booze and vèry noisy. At night prostitutes walk the streets looking for johns. We felt very unsafe at this property. We will NEVER AGAIN stay there. Parking far from the property at $40 per 24 hours.
Nice stay at Zleep Hotel Copenhagen City
We were in a renovated room in Zleep Hotel Copenhagen City which was very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and I cannot praise them enough. The location is about 2 blocks from the Central Station and is very convenient, and there were many restaurants in the area. The hotel does not have AC which I now understand is common in Europe, yet was surprising to me. We had to keep the windows open to keep the room comfortable (we are from FL and are used to AC).
The room is clean but it was just so tiny/small kind of room and bathroom. I could hardly move in the shower it’s like 2ft X 2ft in measurement. I pay good amount of money for my 4 days stay and all I got was just a tiny room and shower. Very dissatisfied! That’s why I moved out on my 5th day and moved to Imperial Hotel which was cheaper and much better hotel.
Nice, clean, and super comfortable, this is a simple place to stay for a night or more. Cool vibes in the bar and restaurant in the lobby, only a couple blocks from the main train station, and some great eating and drinking options nearby. Highly recommended.
Great Hotel except for the showers.
Zleep hot is a good basic hotel with good location. My only complaint would be the showers in the room. They are very low on pressure and it is almost impossible to enjoy a good shower. This was the 3rd time I have stayed and the showers have never improved.
Classed as basic in Rough Guide but was clean, modern and enough room for us. Would stay again. Metro is just round the corner as well.
I think the bathroom design need to be improved as there no seperator on the floor to prevent from spilling over
We did not receive an additional sofa bed all we got was a mattress on the floor. This room did not seem big enough to have this bed there as shown in the picture. Not as shown in the pictures.
Clean and comfortable. Close to Metro and all trains. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Short stay and love the location
Love the fact that the staff knew my request and was able to help us. They were pleasant and very professional!
Loved the price for a private single room! Wish the spot light would have been over the sink for doing makeup. Shower was a tad too small, as was the bed cover. Still, I loved my stay and I will for sure stay here again when I return.
The property is right next to the train station, so it is easily reached from the airport. However, the room i obtained wasn't great -- too small and a sloping roof on one side. So one could use only one part of the room. The water in the shower was lukewarm and wasn't forceful. This is supposed to be a 24/7 hotel, but when I got there around midnight the door was locked and there was no way to catch the attention of the front desk -- no bell, intercom, etc. After waiting outside for a while, in the bitter cold, and wondering what to do I was able to catch the attention of the front desk only accidentally! This is not good.
City break
A nice hotel in a central location , very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable bar prices given that the city is now very expensive. We would consider using it again.
Great location and hotel for weekend stay
Room was big enough for 3. Sofa bed which was a double bed in size. Small bathroom but sufficient. Cold rooms despite radiator. Only 1 pillow per bed. No drink facilities in the room. Ideal place for a weekend stay only. Check in computers didn’t work and only 1 person on reception/bar area so at peak times this is slow. Didn’t have breakfast here. Good location for tram/metro and train. There’s a restaurant nearby called bloom defs recommend. The hotel itself was clean and modern.
Decent hotel
The room was nice a clean and the staff were friendly. Things to note are: no kettle in the room, you will have to purchase hot drinks downstairs, the shower is a wet room and the whole floor gets damp and the hotel is opposite a nightclub so it's gets very noisy at night and the light outside is very bright. It's very close to the train station and in a good location to see the city.
Perfect for a weekend break
Central location - friendly staff
Conveniently located and within walking distance to all the sights, attractions, central station and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious. CPH is a beautiful city with a lot of history and culture. Just dont find the people as friendly as they are in North America
Find another hotel
Pretty lousy hotel for a three star. No waterboiler in room, no free coffee or tea, and the shower very primitive. But the worst was the horrible service. With one exception, a blond woman who brought towels to my room, there were no smiles to find. Staff was either arrogant or half asleep zombie like. I was ashamed that foreign tourists would get this welcome in my country.
Room was small but functional. Front desk staff have attitude issues, but proper training can fix this issue. The property is right in front of a “CANDY BAR”, the hotel is located in a streets where prostitutes hang out at night and not ashamed to ask you if you want a good time. There’s also a sex shop nearby. Probably not the safest feeling walking back to the hotel late at night or in the wee hours of the morning. The best part about this hotel is only about 3 minute walk to the central station. Would I come back here or recommend it? Most probably not!
I visited this location before when the rooms were big and the breakfast was abundant and plenty and now is just memory
Property was centrally located and a short walk to tourist attractions.
Nice clean room. Convenient, good staff
Bathroom shower sucked The room ok bathroom was bad
Great location, tired room
Great location, easily walkable to everywhere in Copenhagen and so convenient for the station. The room we booked was tired and old, twin beds but pushed right next to each other, and zero frills. No air conditioning, but they put a fan in the room. No kettle or tea / coffee. Very basic - just the room, towels and that universal face/body/hair wash. The bathroom was a wet room with a curtain, which made for very wet feet. Great if you’re in Copenhagen for a quick trip and you don’t intend to spend any time in the room.
Great Scandinavian design near train station and Tivoli. The breakfast was fantastic as well.
Great hotel but in noisy area
The hotel is fine and in a great location. Everything provided by and at the hotel was fine. The downside was being next door to rowdy guest(s) that ignored hotel staff requests to behave themselves. The hotel is on a busy street and external noise was not ideal, people shouting and banging into the early hours etc. Then the municipal vehicles start a load more noise early morning and the laundry man gets there with noisy trolleys when most people are still asleep. No doubt it is better in winter when the windows can be closed but it was hot and there is no aircon in bedrooms.
Great location
People working there are terrific. Close to main railroad station
Clean. Safe. Well located. Friendly staff. Bar and breakfast available onsite. Bikes too I believe. For the light sleeper outside noise could sometimes be an issue.
Convenient location by the train station. Very helpful, friendly and cool staff. I was traveling alone and really appreciated their time and attention.
Good and centralised hotel!
The service was excellent!
Excellent night shift
The service was excellent. The lady in the reception was really friendly and accomodating. She made our night a memorable one with her friendliness
The location was right near the main square and the Harbor
I stay here every time I go to Copenhagen. The staff are really friendly, the rooms are great, perfect location. I always feel safe and it's close to a lot of places. I will continue to stay here every time I come to Copenhagen!
When we arrived on June 29th after a long flight, first impression was not stellar (except the convenience of a short easy walk from the train station). A young woman at the front desk seemed to be surprised to be there and struggled with the check-in process. At night the street was noisy with people screaming ‘til 4am and the windows had to stay open to keep relative cool. The next day, however, things started looking up: Florin, who took over the front desk, was phenomenal. Very welcoming and attentive, he helped us switch the room to a courtyard-facing one and was super knowledgeable. The cafe downstairs had a wonderful little breakfast and we watched them make bagels. Great coffee machine too (though it sounds like the company is downgrading those). Overall - clean, convenient, no frills, but everything you need.
Excellent location near the main station and sights. Quiet, clean and well presented. Staff helpful. Have stayed her before and would use it again
Really enjoyable stay
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was comfortable, clean and convenient.
Tiny twin room but nice hotel
Location is excellent. I rented a twin room and didn’t realize it would be the size of a closet. It the type of hotel that you can only use for sleeping, but with that, I appreciated that it was clean and the staff were nice. Maybe the larger rooms are better. I felt I paid quite a lot for this room, so I didn’t expect something slightly larger than the size of the twin bed itself. If I booked directly with the hotel for the next night the price would have been less and maybe a figure that is more digestible for the size of the room. But again if you’re solo and just need to sleep here (especially with late summer nights) and if the price is right for you then it’s a fine hotel.
Nice place to stay and very central however we arrived at 1pm after a sleepless night of travel and we were made to wait over an hour for the room to be available and even at 2pm I had to complain to get the room / no benefits of being a gold member were offered at all and no room upgrade. However after this disappointing start we had a nice stay. The hotel did not offer early check in despite saying it did. Very central location. Very clean and other than on arrival staff were friendly and helpful particularly Sheila on reception is lovely.
Great location, great service. Enjoyed it!
Location couldn't be better. Very close to train and bus station and right in the middle of a vibrant area of the city
Great location
The hotel location was great. It was a couple blocks from the train station. Restaurants were very close by. I would use it again.
Very disappointed
Initial room 503was terrible, no sockets worked and to say it was sparse and plain like a cell is not an exaggeration. We were moved to room 509 which was better. However, wiring looked dodgy with extensions and some being loose, door to room had gaps that you could see corridor light which is dangerous in event of fire and carpet was stained. The tap in the bathroom had such a slow flow that it took 10 minutes to fill a kettle for two cups of tea. Overall, the room and corridor area needs refurbishing. Breakfast was very disappointing and extremely disorganised, with guests waiting for items and cutlery. Scrambled egg was not kept warm and cold items were not kept cold which is a food hygiene risk. On the positive side, the staff in reception were very helpful and responsive, let down by the poor state of the room and the poor breakfast.
Solo trip may 2022
Stayed for 3 nights. Great location- 2 mins walk from train station. Room was clean and suitable for one person. Staff were very helpful. Would stay again :)
Very nice and clean
Convenient
Staff was very friendly and attentive, sorted our check in and parking in no time. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Common area and bar are quite small (reasonable prices for drinks and snacks) though sufficient for the size of the hotel and not an issue at all with so many pubs and cafes in the immediate surroundings. Public parking available however hard to find a spot. Off site parking in a few minutes walking distance, where you can drive in and out after you register your car plates at the hotel (we paid 200 dkk per day). The only thing I didn’t like that much was street noise (I’m a light sleeper), even though it’s not located directly near main street, you could definitely hear some people coming out of the pubs - and just for the record, no fights or shouts, just regular overjoyed guys after a drink or two ;) all in all, a good experience and will definitely consider this location on my next trip.
Clean, fresh, great location.
Stayed for two nights as a family of three. Excellent location 5 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central and Tivoli Gardens. Room was surprisingly spacious with childs bed being a trundle but good size. There was also a table and chairs which was a bonus. The room was spotless, really clean and fresh and cleaned after night one which I wasnt expecting. Check in was efficient but couldn't check in any earlier than stated time. There are free lockers though so you can leave your belongings and go back later if you arrive early like we did. Small bar downstairs with a little seating area outside too. Overall clean and fresh, excellent location and would definately stay here again.
Staff was pretty unhelpful in every way. It appears their computer system is confusing and the front desk people don’t know how to do anything on it. My room was good. The cleaning ladies were really annoying and used the same elevator stopping at every floor doing something while holding it before then going back into the elevator to repeat the process on each floor. Wouldn’t even look at me just snickered to each other. I would not stay again. Not the worst for the price, but you get a little less than what you pay for. Better off at a hostel in my opinion.
Not value for money. To simple
It was not value for the money. There was no shampoo, conditioner, body lotion or tea. Good location and clean.
Overall exactly what I needed for a short stay in Copenhagen - very comfortable square bed, peaceful rest, close to sites and transportation. The only downer was the shower, like many have mentioned, even with the shower curtain the water will still wet the floor for the entire bathroom. Overall a good stay and would return if need be.
Excellent hotel, close by Central Train Station & Metro. Good breakfast facilities, room was fine & staff were polite, friendly & helpful. Well stocked with tourist information brochures, maps, etc. Would stay again.
Excellent stay, lovely size room, everything you could need and very clean and quiet.
In the city center.
Lovely hotel. I know its eco friendly but coffe, tea in a hotel room is a must for me
The staff were amazing and helpful…. They were all nice to my family…. The bathroom though is too small and everything got wet whenever we shower. The room space is good. The location is excellent. Walkable to everything esp to the central station! Amazing…. Will recommend…. Thank you!
Perfect location, nice room and good for a short stay.

The worst part of the room was, the bathroom smelled really bad because of the sewer pipe in there. That was a serious issue stayed the hotel. Also around the hotel was noisy by young people gathering in the midnight, prevented us well for good sleep.
