I visited this place in march and was perfec time quiet and relaxed
We LOVED this place - it was set far back off the main road (not inconvenient, just private and beautiful!), it was close to the Zion National Park, and the staff were great. Amenities were awesome (it was chilly so we couldn't use them all), but the private cabin we stayed at was just darling and we had a BLAST. The best part? Little goats awaiting us as we approached the main lodge in the snowy morning. Magic. Would love to come back, and definitely recommend!
the place is very cute, too bad it's a bit far from Zion (a good hour drive) but cute cabins and reasonably priced. the restaurant was out of basically 1/2 their dishes which was slightly disappointing
Brilliant
It was an awesome experience staying here!
We stayed last minute Jan 2nd and 3rd in the cowboy cabin. It was super affordable. We were impressed how warm and cozy the cabin was. We had close access to the bath house and pool. The bathroom was also heated very well. After hiking zion all day in the cold we enjoyed star gazing in the large outdoor hot tub. We stopped by the lodge and engorged ourselves in delish food. The off season staff was so pleasant and accommodating. I loved the self serve soda bar with Shirley temple mix while my fiancé enjoyed the actual bar. Our Cabin was loaded with towels and blankets and was extremely clean considering being in the middle of nowhere, not a bug in sight! As a young couple, we would recommend the cowboy cabin for an incredible experience. The only thing id change is there is no access to coffee untill 7:30 am. We had to brew our coffee the night before at the lodge and drink it cold in the morning before early hikes.
The staff needs to provide more inf about stuff in side and out side
Beautiful
Great place,
The rain
When I arrived, I checked in and got to my cowboy cabin to find all bed linens in a pile that had clearly been slept on. When I informed the staff, they looked at me as if I had done it myself to try and get a better cabin. I offered to take clean linens to my room to make the beds myself and they did end up providing me with an equal cabin. When we got to the next cabin, it was clean but built cheap. The bunk bed (queen) that they provide in these cabins are not meant for an adult on top. More of meant for kids and not very comfortable beds. I also saw rat traps outside of the cabin next to mine. They do offer a large variety of activities on site but I didn’t like how close everyone is to each other. Parking is very limited. We had two trucks and one truck had to be parked at the cabin with the unclean linens because there was not enough room. Cool dude ranch but won’t be back unfortunately.
This was our first experience glamping. The first glamping tent was perfect. It had been prepared for our arrival with a gas fire going and the room warm. An additional propane heater was available as well. The second glamping tent, however, was not prepared and it was as if they had forgotten we had paid for two. There was no gas fireplace in this tent and the propane heater was out of propane. We requested multiple times to have the heater fixed. They kept saying the service men had already fixed it or that someone was on their way. With all their failed promises to get it fixed, I didn't want them closing the office and leaving us cold through the night; so I waited in the office communicating by phone with my husband waiting at the tent until I knew it was fixed. It took them over an hour for them to get it finally done. As a result, the kids got to go swimming without us and dinner was really late at night. They promised to refund half our tent price as a result, which we are still waiting to receive. Other than that disappointment, it was a fun place to be.
Cool place near Zion. Staff super friendly.
Amazing glamping stay for 3 nights at Zion! Hiking during the day and then coming back to the pool in the late afternoon was amazing! And great fire pit and stargazing! Would highly recommend!
Great camping/glamping spot. A little far from Zion proper, and they could be better about enforcing quiet hours. The screaming children playing nighttime mini golf was a little much.
Conestoga Wagon
We stayed in the Conestoga wagon, fun and charming. Bathrooms were far away. Common bathroom areas were reasonable nice and clean. Pool and hot tubs were awesome. I would stay again, good value. Ate at the restaurant, great food and staff.
Glamping was great here. There are heaters in the tents and fire pits right outside.
The glamping tent only contained 2 beds and a couch. Mattres from the little bed was very poor, the blankets disgusting, ready for renewal. The gas heater bottle was empty after 1,5 hours, resulting in a cold night with blankets that could not keep you warm. Time for a make-over I would say. The area was fantastic.
Great Tiny House, better than my own. Lol great restaurant and staff
The Poderosa Ranch (Zion National Park)
Our stay at the Ponderosa Ranch was for easy access to Zion National Park. This was a good close option to get to the park easily and enjoy our visit. Ponderosa is a mix of accommodation options from tent to Cabins at a reasonable cost. The cabin we had was located close to amenities and the main restaurant & reception. A range of activities are available to purchase from horse riding to off road buggies which can be booked on site. The restaurant offers a good menu and range of drinks there are also alternatives to choose from within 30 minutes of the ranch. There is a swimming pool with jacuzzi & two pools. I would recommend the Ponderosa as a good choice to stay.
The view around the property is very pretty. The share shower rooms are very good.
The unit was essentially a tiny home at a summer camp. The placement of queen bunk beds was tight. I picked it for the shower and was pleased with the shower. It would have been nice to have a hook somewhere close to the opening of the shower to hang my towel. The power outlets were not the best and my charger plugs didn't stay in well. The food in the lobby while convenient was average at best. I had a cheese burger and they didn't heat up the bun and the fries were cold. Overall, it worked for the 1 night I was here but I wouldn't recommend it to others and would not return.
Staying in a cabin was just so nice. Clean, comfortable, bed was comfortable, fire pit outside was definitely used.
I really enjoyed where the property was located and the amenities here were great. I stayed in a Cowboy cabin but want to go back and stay in a pioneer wagon next time. The outside pops were so nice and hot tub as well. I really enjoyed my pizza, drink, and dessert from their restaurant as well.
We enjoyed the location, the ease of check-in, and the on-site options in a remote resort area. VERY DISSATISFIED that the welcome Email outlined food options as available for our stay- only to find out upon check-in that the taco truck was NOT available. In this remote setting- we bypassed restaurants on our drive out here because we planned to enjoy taco trucks. An email from the resort specifically promoted this offering that was NOT available. VERY disappointing. We rode motorcycles all day and tacos at the end of our ride, at the resort, should NOT have been an issue.
Nosy generator night
Everything was good
Beautiful property. Lots of stuff to do.
Loved everything
Property was conveniently located for our Zion trip. While they are making improvements by adding an RV park the current facilities seem a bit rundown. They could use more than one restroom up the hill. Its a scary walk alone at night to use facilities. Showers and restrooms were clean but the shower curtains doors and fixtures need replacing. They need more yard maintenance especially around cabins and pool.
Nice property
So much to do on this resort! So very pleased with our stay. We will definitely be back!
Great place to stay & their wood fired pizza is great! Cute cabins with AC. Staff was friendly & helpful. Pools & hot tubs clean. Expedia said they were 5 miles from the entrance of Zion which is true but you have another 12 miles to parking & visitors center so plan accordingly. I’d stay here again!
Didnt get the cabin I reserved through Expedia. My son had to sleep on a pull out couch because they didnt give me the cabin we ordered. Not sure if that was the resorts fault or expedia. I recommend you contact the property after you make your reservations to ensure they have reserved the correct cabin. Cabin smelled like rotten eggs when we arrived. Poured water down the drains and opened windows and it got better but never fully went away. You could also smell rotten eggs outside in the air on occasion. Otherwise it was a cool place. Full service snack bar by front desk, gift shop, restaurant on property, climbing wall, UTV tours, Golf carts, 2 pools with slides, putt putt, tennis courts, beautiful views, and goats
We booked our two day stay with our grandchildren to enjoy Zion. When booking on Expedia, it clearly stated that breakfast was included. We took our grandchildren down for breakfast and was informed that that special ended in May but it still shows up on Expedia and they would not, honor. My grandchildren ordered French toast and the toast was so hard and cold. You could hardly eat it. The cabin was not clean. There was garbage in the drawers underneath the bed was full of dust, bunnies and garbage that looks like it hasn’t been clean for days. The dresser was filthy not dusted in a long time. We had to use facilities for showering and bathroom by needs. The showers are in desperate need of major repair. My suggestions really take folks reviews seriously check on your staff to make sure that the facilities your guests are staying in are clean repair the showers and make sure food that folks eat is fresh and hot not cold and stale and this property would get a very good rating
Great stay friendly
Amazing pripwrty and it was a special time for us.
I would not recommend. Shared bathroom means walking or driving to a pool house to shower or use the restroom. The amenities shown (mini golf, rock wall, golf carts) are all additional fees. This resort has you driving through Zion to reach them & paying $35 & then if you return to Zion, you pay another $35! They do a limited shuttle for $30 pp. The pizza was good. Stay West of Zion.
We loved this property and will absolutely come back when we are near Zion again. The food is amazing. Try the jam burger!
Don't rent a Cowboy Cabin. They do not have A/C in them. I was there in July, 100°+ during the day. Took till 4AM with a floor fan blasting us and the windows open to cool down. The "shared" bathroom was about 100 ft. from the cabin and could be shared by Six cabins. There was no sink in the room, either. For this I paid more than $180 for the night. I inquired at the desk in the morning and the manager moved me to a cabin suite for the same price. It was a tremendous improvement.
Our first time at Zion lots of fun for the kids family environment too many activities to cover in a weekend return soon
Beautiful, quiet.
The property was great as there were multiple amenities. The pool was really dirty and that was disappointing. The wood fired pizza was great and I really enjoyed the coffee shop.
Ambience and quiet place, we loved it
So fun! So many different types of adventures!
This place was so awesome! We were there from Laughlin NV. All we see is desert and hot weather. Everything was so green. The employee s were the best. I can't say enough about all of them. We didn't want to come home from here. Thks for making our second anniversary great. Carl and Elaine Fisher
Amazing ranch with lots of activities and a really nice team. The restaurant is really appreciated there. The swimming pool is Nice and there are lots of bathroom… wonderful stay and I would go back there whitout any issue
This place was an absolute dream. We stayed in the glamping tents and it was the coolest. The pool was awesome, most of the food was good, and the coffee was great! I felt safe. We didn’t have time to use any of the other activities offered, but impressed by how many were offered.
Lovely mountain resort.
The restaurant and staff.
Great cabin and surrounding area, however there was a sewage or some smell which was disturbing. Needs to be checked. Staff were excellent!
Nice
Everything was perfect, amazing place
love the rustic setting with so many options for lodging preferences
very very cold, restroom is very very far…
Stayed for 2 nights. The restroom was not as tidy. Bring your own toilet paper. I wish there was sink area to wash dishes, obviously people were taking them to the restroom and shower to clean their stuff. We wanted to stay here due to the recreational services they advertised for the kids. They wanted you to leave a certain belonging so you can borrow their basketball. Golf was $5 or $25 for kids combo - unlimited golf, VR and wall climbing. My husband wanted to use their hose to clean up his bike since there was nearby bike trail but unfortunately it was facility use only. If you are familiar with KOA camping, this might be a disappointment for the recreational activities. Beautiful surroundings though just towards the East Entrance/exit of Zion National Park. Don’t forget to check out the herd of bison near the entrace!
The property is really cool. There's vacation homes, wagons, cabins, yurts with plenty of amenities on site. There is a restaurant, mini golf, rock wall, pool and you can catch tours from there.
Fantastic
No complaints! All was well and exceptionally prepared. Breakfast could have been better. They removed complimentary eggs and bacon. Otherwise, this place is heaven on earth.
Awesome place to stay!! They offer plenty of adventures and breakfast was yummy! Be careful though, we found critters but the staff helped us out right away and switched our room! I can’t wait to come back! 😁
Beyond expectations. Family Friendly, Quiet!
This property exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. First, the location was better than expected and did not have the usual crowd on the west side of Zion. The tranquility and vastness of the property gave a sense of getting away from the hustle of everyday life. The breakfast was great, we didn't know this the first day but they let us pick one hot item from the menu so the food was good and made to order. The cabin was comfortable, warm, and clean. Being able to stargaze two nights in a row was a plus. We had fun with onsite activities, especially the hot tub. I would recommend this property to everyone.
Loved this property so much. The cabin was perfect, the land was breathtaking and the food was amazing. I will go back the next time I have a chance. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!!
👍
Great location, especially for families. We had the bungalow with private shower/bathroom, however, the glamping tents looked noce too. Nice pools and hot tub. Each bungalow has its own firepit and picknick table. Comes with a kitchen, too. The restrooms and showers for the tents, campers and the bungalows without private bathrooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is simple, but has everything you need: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Nice family owned business. We hope to return some day.
This is a fun property. If you enjoy camping, you will like this place. The breakfast was good. The observation Point shuttle is right at the property (and other activities) so it was convenient.
We had fun horse back riding and played mini golf. The staff were able to get us cabin suit on short notice due to my booking error.
I reserved what I thought was a cabin for a romantic anniversary weekend near Zion National Park. All the pictures showed the inside of cabins with kitchens and nice bathrooms. When I arrived I was sent to a wagon, not a cabin. No bathroom. A shared facility was available down the road. Not the best scenario for a person with a stomach disease. I immediately went back to the front desk and expressed my disappointment with what I thought we were getting and what I actually got. The manager on duty refunded the second night but refused to doing anything about the first night. We reluctantly went and ate dinner at their restaurant. The restaurant was the high point. The food was great. During dinner I pulled up the posting. When we finished I went to the front desk again an showed the manager the misleading posting and all the pictures. He was ambivalent to my concerns and showed no remorse. We reluctantly stayed the night. It was a cold night with temp in the high 20’s/low 30’s. The wagon had two space heaters. One electric and the other was gas. The gas heater had a sign on it that said you were not allowed to adjust the setting beyond the lowest setting. This along with the strong gas fumes did not make me feel comfortable leaving it on all night in this small canvas wagon. Needless to say it was a cold and uncomfortable night. Not at all what I wanted for my anniversary. This was a complete catfish experience. Highly disappointed!!
A
Off the road a bit, but so close to the East entrance of Zion. Super clean facilities and friendly staff. The free breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing to brag about. We ended up paying for dinner one night and were actually disappointed in the price of the meals vs. what we received. Overall, it is a really cool place.
The heating in the wagon didn’t work and the food was subpar.Need more bathroom facilities
So many options for your stay!
It was nice to get out of the traditional hotels. It something very unique.
Great resort.
good adventure
Loved this place. Quirky. But lots of on-site activities (grazy golf, horse riding, climbing walll, pools, hot tubs). And i adored the queensize bunk beds!
Beautiful property. Glamping at its best!
I wasn't expecting a campground set up, but the facilities were close enough to get to. I didn't expect we would get bunk beds, either. Fortunately, getting up to the top bunk wasn't a problem. This was the first place on our 10 day trip that had real plates, cups and cutlery, instead of disposable everything.
Quaint, yet accomodating, facility. We were only there one night for a wedding but we wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the mini golf, pool, surroundings, etc.
Close to Zion
The overall property was nice. We stayed in a wagon the first night and it was cool but tight space, they could have used one less bunk bed for storage of bags. The cabin was great! Except the floors were so dirty you couldn’t walk in socks or barefoot. I showered and walked around for a bit and my feet were black and I could feel the dirt on them. Complimentary breakfast wasn’t very great selection, no eggs or meat so you would probably want to buy breakfast if you want something filling and healthier.
Séjour mémorable
Excellent endroit propre le service est super le site est très bien entretenu le déjeuner est varié et excellent
It was an okay stay
It was responsible for the price per night but was a little uncomfortable to walk at night in the dark to use the bathroom. Not too many employees to make you feel comfortable and good staying in the resort . Lots of flys in the cafe / restaurant I had to fight the flies over my pizza .
This a 3 star family property. Travelling as a couple, we thought it'd be quieter and better maintained. The queen cabin we stayed in did not feel well cleaned and the restaurant was ok. The proximity to Zion was good and the highlight of the ranch was the Sunset Horseback ride we booked with East Zion Adventures which is on the property.
The bed and pillows in the wagon were soooooo comfortable! A nice quiet place very close to Zion.
Even basic clamping was an amazing experience. Forest time close to nature, excellent for people to be introduced to camping. Luxurious, spacious, but the heaters didn’t work. The view of the Milky Way at your door step made you forget of any other lack of amenities. Jacuzzi was a great savoir to hikers after a long day in Zion.
Was a great experience. It’s better for family or group staying for several days because there are so many fun things to do.
Beautiful scenic views.
The wife and I absolutely love Ponderosa Ranch Resort. We’ve been several times and it never disappoints. Close to the East entrance to Zion making getting to the park early easy. Great amenities, included breakfast, and nice restaurant and the pools are great. Basketball, volleyball ball, tennis and pickle ball courts. Horses, goats, turkeys and Jeep the bunny that the kids can hold. Goats roam free when the sun goes down and they’re extremely friendly (especially the baby ❤️) making for a great experience for kids. Wall climbing, bungee trampoline, a park, mini golf, Jeep tours and they were even doing helicopter tours with pick up and landing right in the grass on property which was cool to see in itself. There was a fire warning so no fires were allowed which can be a huge issue depending on cooking needs but they do have a small picnic area with about 8 tables and 2 large propane grills. There’s also 2 community Firepits you can reserve which are allowed even during the “no fires” warning. This time around we opted for a Glamping Tent which was pretty cool. Fan and heater included and sleeps 6. Also got a golf cart this time which made traversing the HUGE property very easy and enjoyable. Only negative I would speak to on this trip was the pond where you can paddle board/kayak was very nasty. Smelled of sewage and had trash in it.
Location is great.just a little disappointed with everything else, breakfast was 3/10 . Also, they do not have cleaning service for your room. Which means you have to come back to your undone bed and “ dirty room “. It’s is quite expensive which makes it double disappointing.
Great resort, would be better if there is a AC unit in the room instead of fan. Also nice to have soap and shampoo in the showers.
Great place to stay for small families, has lots of recreational amenities to offer on site.
Maybe have a full grocery store on property
Great property with lots of potential! It was our top choice for proximity to Zion. We stayed in a canvas “glamping” tent. It was a neat experience to be sure!
The pictures and description aren’t true to life—it’s run down. Also, we stayed in a glamping tent & nowhere does it say or do they tell you the third bed is a trundle. Ok, fine. But when it’s pulled out it blocks the door—fire hazard and when I woke up and had to use the bathroom first—you have to move the bed halfway under the bed. Breakfast was good, staff was ok (Nancy was fantastic), but the accommodations were subpar.
While the property was accommodating when we had a change of plans, construction woke us up at 7:30 am and the “deluxe” cabin we stayed in had a couch with a huge stain on it and crumbs.
This is a camping lodge with shared bathroom and shower facility, no amenities... We were not aware of it.
I like the place very much. It is close to the Zion east entrance, and I also like the free breakfast provided. Dinners were delicious too.
I’ve stayed here twice now and this place is amazing . Staff is kind and there are so many options of things to do :)
Zion Trip
The place has great amenities and potential. Breakfast was horrible and the cleaning crew "invaded" my room to clean almost 2 hours before check out. I went for breakfast and when I returned to my cabin to brush my teeth and shower, they were there.
Great place with so many amenities and so close to Zion!
It was nice quite and very nice cabins would recommend this place to families

I enjoyed my stay at the glamping site overall, but the heater was broken, and no one answered the emergency phone after service hours. It was nearly 30 degrees outside.
