Property was great, in a great area. Only issue was that there is construction going on in the lot behind the building, starting work at 7am. But the Locke has no control over that so I’m not holding it against them. Overall really nice place and would happily stay there again.

We have the best time. Anniversary trip coming from the US. The hotel is in the best location. Close to everything very stylish also is pushed back a bit from the sidewalk so street noise is minimal. This hotel also was extremely clean with so many great amenities. It’s more like apartment style to me. I highly recommend staying there if you’re looking for somewhere central. All staff was very helpful huge Shot out to Adam for checking us in thank you. Will be back later this year.

Absolutely loved this hotel, it’s set up like independent apartments. We opted for a unit on the sixth floor with a balcony and we were so happy with the space. Everything is super modern and efficient. The hotel lobby is dynamic and very well appointed. They have a cute coffee shop at the entrance. The only downside is it closes very early around 3 o’clock. I could see where there was a bar area, but it was not opened during the time we were there probably because it was off-season. The property is also very well secured, there is a key card entrance at the front gate, another to enter the hotel hallways by the elevator, you must also use your key to access the elevator. I found it to be very safe. We also found it to be much more pleasurable to be on that side of the river away from the chaos and noise, but the footbridge is right at your doorstep and in 10 minutes you can be in the middle of all the action.

Great place to stay in Dublin

I had an excellent stay at Zanzibar Locke. The room was well equipped with everything I needed, including a washer/dryer and all implements for cooking. It was huge...more than big enough for one person. I appreciated that I was given the option for cleaning. The staff were always pleasant and helped me multiple times with arranging taxis and answering basic questions. It was a great base for a week in Dublin. Location was also perfect.

Great choice for a Dublin city-stay

Great location just by the Ha'Penny (pedestrian) Bridge across to Temple Bar. Airport bus stop close by. Spacious, comfortable and attractive rooms with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. Chic common areas. Hotel staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. Many dining opportunities within a short walk. Also great value for the money.

What made our stay so memorable was the people working at the hotel! The service we had at Zanzibar Locke was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful in all areas. We look forward to visiting the hotel again and are quite happy with the amazing desk agents who made us feel right at home. Excellent stay and friendly staff. Only downside is parking, but they do have an agreement with a Parking Garage around the corner. Just remember to get your ticket stamped by the front desk. Comfortable room. Had a nice modern look. Would 10/10 stay again.

Zanzibar Locke was a beautiful apartment/hotel. I booked 2 studios for 2 weeks and loved it! It’s located in the middle of the city just steps away from the Ha’Penny Bridge and the Temple Bar but you don’t hear any of the hustle & bustle inside the room except for on fridays and saturdays you’ll hear a little from the night club but not too bad. Everything in the hotel was updated and modern and I was very comfortable while staying here. They have a great cafe in the lobby and tons of cafes and restaurants near by. Also the customer service was 5 stars! Every person that I interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. There were two associates there when we checked in, Petra (and forgive me I did not get the gentleman’s name but he had red hair) were great! Kudos to them both for being welcoming and even assisting with a fan for the room because I forgot mine. Overall 5 stars, everything was great! FYI the rooms get a little warm at night but you are able to open the windows and get fresh air in the room.

Can’t recommend Zanzibar Locke enough! So glad was stayed there. Staff was kind and helpful. Already planning a time to return.

Cosy, convenienent, central. A very pleasant surprise right in the heart of the city, central to buses, trains, shopping, eating, and museums.

We enjoyed the efficiency apartment we stayed in. It was large and had a nice little kitchenette.

This hotel is very centrally situated, just next to the Ha’penny Bridge. Everything is super walkable from there. Nice coffee shop off the lobby. Comfortable lobby area and outdoor patio. The staff were very friendly throughout our 11 day stay. They even left a thoughtful gift on our door Christmas morning, which was a lovely surprise! The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook/eat in and to clean our clothes. We would most definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful visit to Dublin!

Can’t recommend this hotel enough!! Amazing central location and from the minute we walked in we were made to feel so welcome by all the staff. The room was spacious and the decor throughout was stunning. We were very grateful for the early check in for both rooms after stressful travel days and would definitely stay here again next time we are in Dublin!

This was our third stay at Zanzibar Locke, and we love it. Exceptionally reasonable price, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable little apartments. We’ve been delighted every time- central location with an easy walk to everything. The neighborhood is a bit dense with tourists, and youngsters hanging out everywhere, but that’s ok. With the nicely appointed kitchen you just make a quick walk to a nearby Tesco or M & S for groceries, so you needn’t eat out all the time. Free laundry facility on site, which is amazing; you can pack a weeks worth of laundry for a two week trip. It’s a great blend of “living” in the neighborhood, even as a short term visitor. We hate leaving.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room. We didn’t like that we were not told of the construction that was happening across the street when we picked our room. Also the hot water in the shower only lasted a few minutes and then it was just warm water.

Absolutely incredible little apartment style hotel in downtown city center. It was very easy to get to from the airport by shuttle and was in walking distance of everything you’d want to see while in Dublin. Super friendly staff that made the stay wonderful with an early check in. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Dublin!

Great - very central and handy for everything

A lovely property. We had booked 3 studios and were able to access one of the studios early which was great. The studios were clean and spacious with everything you may need provided. Even some tea / coffee and milk to make a cuppa on arrival. Just a couple of minutes over the bridge to Temple Bar and just a few minutes from cafes / shops and an M&S to stock up on food to eat in if required. We were able to keep a studio until 1pm on the last day for just 10 euros, great value. All the staff we met were great.

Mediocre at best

We would not stay there again. Very dull room. Studio Window facing a junky extrrior. Shower water was lukewarm and controlled so you cannot raise the water temperature. We did not enjoy our showers at all.

Super stay at one of the best Hotels .

Super , couldn’t ask for more . This facility has everything you need if you come for work or for fun with friends or family they have every warm offering variety of services. They even have a washing machine in our room and a dishwasher wow.

I have stayed in this establishment for about 24 hours only spend the night in hotel but it was great.

What a vibrant, fun property to stay at! I loved the walkability and friendliness of this place so much I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I'm lucky enough to return to Dublin. Staff is helpful and present. Rooms are spacious and so well appointed, and beds are so comfy!

This was my first time staying at a Locke property, but it won’t be my last. I loved the convenience of this hotel due it being in the heart of Dublin. The hotel staff were kind and extremely helpful. The rooms were nice, cozy and (most importantly) clean. I loved everything about my stay. Can’t wait to come back in the future.

One of my favorite hotels of all time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Transport options are aplenty - including a bus stop for the Dublin Express (to/from airport) 5 mins walk away. Kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room are useful and made my stay more comfortable. Decor is chic. Pubs, restaurants, coffee, shopping, tourist attractions all walking distance from hotel. On-site cafe.

Fantastic hotel, definitely the spot I would be staying on my next trip to Dublin! This is the one to book if you plan on being in Dublin and want to explore the city!

Lovely place to stay for week in Dublin - close to everywhere and just across river from the busy Temple area. Loved the apartment feel. Little struggle with the washing machine but front desk helpful and responsive. Comfortable.

Great location. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Was expecting a washer/dryer in the apartment but there wasn’t one. But there is a communal one available. We were on the second floor overlooking the river, great view. Downside was there were about 10 steps to go up after the elevator. Not good with a child’s stroller. Seemed pretty quiet. Spacious room. Would stay again. Friendly front desk staff, easy check-in.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Was so impressed with the staff here who were incredibly attentive and ensured our stay was as smooth as possible whether it be looking after our bags before we could check in, or giving us recommendations on the local area. It’s in a brilliant location which made it really easy for us to explore without needing to walk loads. The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed (and more). Would absolutely recommend staying here.

The staff are absolutely MARVELOUS, proper lovely people. They are genuinely kind and caring. The hotel is fun, quirky, clean, centrally located and easy to find. Plenty of transportation available. A nearby car park as well. Just a great place to stay. I've already booked my next stay.

The front desk staff was very friendly. Location close to many things and walkable to a wide variety of restaurants. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer and kitchenette after a week of travel. The cafe downstairs is lovely and very convenient.

An affordable gem in Dublin!

Nothing but good things to say about the property. From the front desk experience (they happily held my bags when I arrived well before check in time), and gave me great recommendations for a number of local things. Lobby cafe was nice, 'apartment' room was a very nice surprise. Rain shower head was the first thing i tried, and beds were comfortable for all activities. Kitchenette setup was clean, equipped, and modern. Property was safe and secure especially at night, with several levels of locks to access rooms. Only tiny issue I found was that the television was not visible from the bed, as there was a room dividing wall blocking it.

A hidden gem in the heart of Dublin

An excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Dublin. The rooms are studio apartments, with separate kitchen, dining and sleeping areas. The design is perfect, coupled with the Smeg appliances. A bonus point - a yoga mat!! I simply loved it!

Zanzibar Locke is an amazing property! It's right smack dab in the middle of everything, and what isn't right by its within easy walking distance. The room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet at night and the blackout curtains helped us sleep so well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! A all around!

It's a real studio apartment, with kitchen, gym, laundry! On every bus route you need.

We had a fantastic stay here! We booked a room for a few nights with the full kitchen, which was a must. It had everything we needed and more. It was also very clean, and we found the location perfect for us! Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time. We really liked the location and proximity to the city. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We couldn’t locate wash clothes/face towels. Some of the residents were a little loud at night. Not sure there are quiet hours or not. We would stay again.

This is a unique and beautiful small hotel-more like an apartment. We loved that it's just across the Temple Bar District with lots of placed to visit, eat and drink. The rooms have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer which we loved, we only take carry-ons so we end up needing to wash clothes. We loved the coffee and bread at the little coffee shop at the site and we felt save all the time. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay and great onsite team. The building and rooms were clean and lovely and all the amenities. Loved the washer and dryer and mini kitchen. Made it easy to wash cloths before departing. Less to do when you get back home. I would highly reccomend staying here. It centrally located and made it walkable everywhere. Temple bar areas was just a bridge hop over the river with plenty of shopping and food options.
