Great location, comfortable bed, great shower, accessible and staff friendly, welcoming and informative. No improvements to recommend. Thank you
Great! Close to Bethnal Green station
Comfortable room
Comfortable and clean
Although tiny the room was really well designed to provide everything needed for comfort and was spotlessly clean.
Well located hotel. Room was small and without a window but clean, modern and functional. Lobby area offers free water, coffee and fruit.
Clean, quiet and peaceful. Small accommodation but great price. It is in great area (central East London), lots to do within walking distance and very close to public transports
It does the job for one night but there does seem to be a plumbing issue. Slight smell of sewage in the bathroom (I was in an underground room) and you could seemingly hear everyone flushing the toilet in the nearby rooms. Other than that, staff was excellent and location good.
Perfectly snug
Was looking for a base to visit family. The room was in the basement BUT had everything that I needed to dump luggage and sleep. It was 5 min walk from my families flat, 2 min from tube brilliant position to get around town
I only stayed one night. It was clean and quiet and the price was very reasonable. Underground stop 2 mns away
Excellent stay as always
I loved my stay so so much. There is transportation so easily accessible and super super close, literally just by crossing the street and taking a few steps down the street! My stay was quiet and had everything i needed to make it a great trip, i do wish there was a mini fridge in the room, but other than that, it was excellent and staff was super friendly.
The room I was given was underground, tiny (not enough room to open my suitcase) and had no windows.
Wonderful Experience
I loved loved loved this hotel. It was PERFECT for me--I was staying alone, but my son was staying at the same hotel, so we each had our own room on the same floor. I felt like I had everything I wanted/needed and it was clean and comfortable. I can't believe how reasonable it was!
Cheap and good
Good price, and good location. We had an interior room which was fine, maybe not great if you are trying to acclimate to a new time zone, but for the price it was great.
Nice central hotel with helpful staff. Well located to transport lines with great bars and dining close by. Tea and water, fruit all available in the lobby throughout the day for guests. Comfy beds.
Staff were incredibly friendly easy access to the underground
I have stayed at this hotel previously but this was the first time in the basement and it wasn’t very good, as the noises from the plumbing or pipes was loud and the room felt very stuffy
Good place for a short 2 to 3 days stay. Well connected to central line.
Nice property, rooms are small but perfect if you just need somewhere to rest.
Great, simple place for solo travel/couples
Everything I needed in a room to stay in and explore London. Relaxed experience, no frills but also no hassle. Great place to stay, super near the tube, with cool neighbourhoods and great food options nearby.
Abysmal - AVOID THIS PLACE. Checked in dead on time and got given an accessible room because (as we later found out) our room had been given away. The only other option was a small room underground with no windows. Member of staff called the manager over who mumbled to her a few times and then walked off without even acknowledging us. The room itself was poor. Very basic. Shower area was filthy. Cracked tiles. Toiletries dirty and empty. Sink was knee high with a tap that was only being held on with silicone sealant so it moved every time you turned it on. Only window in room was the same height as double decker buses passing so it you want privacy, you have to keep the blind pulled down. I would not stay here again if you paid me. Utterly abhorrent customer service.
Nice place!
It was in a nice area and the staff were great. Not a bad breakfast but the rooms were small and I haven’t slept on a single bed for years. No windows which was surprising but the TV was good.
Perfect bolt hole for a stay in London. Good clean rooms and the staff were amazing!
Give Uche that supervisor role immediately He changed my room for me after I disliked it and gave me a better room that had a better atmosphere
Give Uche that supervisor role immediately I didn’t like the size of my room and I already checked in And I went to him and he dealt with it. He gave me a better room downstairs and I had a wonderful stay
The staff was friendly and accommodating! Would come back to stay based on hospitality alone. Comfortable bed/pillows, perfect sized room (two of us stayed in family room). Great selection of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Public transportation right across the street. Only thing off putting was a bit of sound from other occupants through the vents and walls. Would recommend otherwise!
Great stay! Reasonable price!
Nice stay! Great value for the price!
Cleaners noisy
Hotel was average. Offered £5 voucher if we passed on room cleaning, but never actually received the voucher. Cleaning cupboard was right outside hotel room. Cleaners were constantly talking directly outside and making lots of noise, so it was difficult to properly settle down.
The property was lovely, clean, public transport like trains and buses very close by. The rooms are nice, bit small their rooms with single bed have no access to window, one can really tell the time of the day or the weather for the day.
It was a good hotel. Staff was friendly & helpful
The service was good. I was allowed to check in early. I’d have given it 5 stars if they have helped me warm up the leftover that we took home from the previous night. Instead the service guy was like “we don’t have a microwave”. Seriously? You are serving food and you don’t have a microwave. I would not have asked about it if it wasn’t for my 84 years old mother to let her have a warm breakfast. Not very good service from that guy.
Very good place only slight issue being that room wasn't ready at check in time but other than that it was all good
Great hotel and location
Amazing hotel and room. Within minutes from the Underground station, which helped us get around London with ease. Breakfast was very well done. Will recommend to others.
the smart TV required an iPhone to act as a remote. I didn't have an iPhone. The room was incredibly crampt.
Not communication
Poor experience.
Very small room. One of the worst stays. Basic breakfast sometimes cold. Sometimes gone before we got there. Not enough seating. Got charged for breakfast even though we did not go one day. Only good thing was excellent air conditioning. Will not stay here again.
We got a twin bed room. It was a very compact room which did not have much room for our open suitcases BUT we chose this hotel for its proximity to the tube. The room had all we needed for our stay and was close to many restaurants, fast food and pubs.
My stay was very pleasant.
The location and price were good value, the room was small but very clean, well appointed and perfectly met our travel and comfort requirements. Would stay here again and will keep the Yotel brand in mind when booking other locations.
Good Help
The first room was not a good fit and they were very helpful putting us in a room which worked for us.
I like this
Would recommend 100%
Great place to stay, got last minute, decent price. Staff all friendly and nice. Stayed 4 nights, easy check in and check out, would recommend. Only downside is the no window, but other than that firmableZ
Location is good with 3-5 minutes walk to an underground train station. It’s a quiet and safe area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel allows early checkin at 1:00 without charge which is very helpful for people arriving after an overnight flight. The room is small but that’s what I paid for. My only complaint was the housekeeping light which you have to choose which light for housekeeping or no housekeeping. It would be helpful if some staff explains the light at checkin.
Amazing
Nice friendly staff and great location
It was quite and clean
Brilliant little hotel for our two nights in the East End.2 minutes from the tube , clean very comfortable, quiet & modern. Liked the fact there was a coffee machine & complementary water in the room . Perfect for a short stay & very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again!
I paid for a premium queen room and was given a twin room with no windows.
Good location, good food nearby, right near the subway line. Uche and Josh are awesome!
Great location, good food nearby, right on the train line. Uche and Josh were amazing, give them a raise.
The place is well managed and the staff are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Had a great stay. Definitely recommend.
YOTEL Shoreditch is actually in Bethnal Green, but it’s and easy walk from the tube or the bus (less than five minutes from either), very comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Right on the Central Line of the underground.
Such a cool place. Staff exceptionally helpful. Rooms comfy and clean. Great breakfast and location! Just do it!
I really enjoyed staying in a windowless room….i wish more hotels offered these
Great hotel in a bad area
Great hotel and great staff, but the surrounding area is scary as hell.
Lovely property close to trains
Hotel was centrally based. 2 mins from Bethnal Green station, walkable to Shoreditch, with a sainsburys local nearby. Bars and restaurants located nearby. Breakfast for£10 is a bargain, and voucher for free drink at the bar
Clean, secure and tidy.
Great rooms and lovely and clean. Also nice staff!
Terrible, overbooked my room and booked elsewhere
Arrived at the hotel only to be told they had oversold my room and was subsequently turned away, despite the fact that I could book 5 different room types! No manager on duty, and awaiting a refund for the room I was turned away from after they still continued to charge my card. Credit card company is currently involved to return my money.
Did exactly what it said it would do, very simple and effective stay. Clean and modern. No issues. Staff were on hand, really friendly.
Prison Cell Style
There are no windows in the standard room. At over £200 a night this is the least that is expected! I've never been to prison so thought when I arrived, instead of finding a nicer hotel I'd give the prison cell vibe ago...it's not a nice experience, I wouldnt advise you try it either, especially if you're claustrophobic. The rooms are new and clean but comfort is a long way off in this cell of a room. Hard beds and cheap linen is...I was just please it included a toilet and didnt have to bend over to pick up the soap. Tea/coffee/milk dosent get replenished when your room is "serviced" it's just bed made and towels folded.
Comfy but small.
Staying for a local wedding, convenient, quiet, comfortable but small room - and that was a premium double! Getting ready for a wedding in this restricted space was a challenge, but we got there. Otherwise it was ideal and in the heart of Bethnal Green.
.
Easy transportation and friendly staff.
Not for people iver 6,5
For a 6,5 man, the bed was a bit to short. Bert friendly staff
Easy check in and out, clean room. No window in room which was unexpected, not a major issue as meant better sleep but should be transparent about this on booking as no natural light not ideal. Nice toiletries provided and glad to have a coffee maker!
i booked a “standard room” only to find out it was two stories underground and had no windows. felt a bit like a jail cell. on the plus side, the bed was very comfortable
Good place
Very new hotel, and is very near to the train station. Just that room is rather small, but this is London, what to expect?
Great value for money; good facilities at a decent price
Room is clean, staff is nice
Great location and value. The rooms are very small and we wished we had just a bit more room as two of us had to get ready for a wedding. Other than the small space, everything was as advertised and we’d definitely return for the convenience alone!
Perfect for solo travellers!
Lacking in many of the amenities promised on the website. Size of premium Queen room is very underwhelming. Rooms are clearly not soundproof.
Clean, quiet, great breakfast.
Good clean hotel with a convenient location.
The hotel was clean and functional in a good location. The hotel staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. My only criticism is that the room Did not have adequate storage space for our clothes especially for a family room.
We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We booked a twin and after reading/seeing reviews we’re expecting something very small. However we had more then enough room, the rooms was modern, clean and very comfortable. Excellent air-con which meant the lack of windows were not an issue. Staff friendly and helpful. Location excellent
Thanks team, appreciate the customer service and welcome
Great except TV
Staff super nice and friendly. Room very functional everything you need. Location very good. AppleTv wanting you to log in to everything- barely worked
Rooms were tiny, but very clean. Great room to watch Netflix after an exhausting day in the city. Breakfast however was plain, the coffee and OJ were nothing to brag about. Would have expected more hospitality from the staff.
Family room is spacious with double bed and double sofa bed, our stay included breakfast which was great. Property is a block away from underground station Bethnal Green, across the street from young v&a, and 10m walk to Victoria Park/Market and Broadway Market… super convenient.
The rooms are extremely tiny and had zero sound isolation. The sink was too close to the toilet and It was difficult to do my business even though I am not fat and have average height. The family room we were given was a divided room with a locked door on the shared wall between our room and the next room. Whatever they speak or listen to, we were able to hear as if they were in our room. We requested to change our room and were given a 2 persons room. It was even smaller with a 2 persons bed (me, my wife and my son had to fit in). We were asked to pay the same price for this 2 persons room as the family room. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I feel like grifted. The staff was kind, I will give you that. But I will never choose this brand again.
Ok, but not the best.
The hotel was in a good location, close to the tube which was good. The hotel was ok in terms of cleanliness, and the staff were friendly enough. However the trouble started at 10pm, we finally got back to our room after a long day in London to find that the TV was not working. I went down to reception who provided a new remote, back up to the room, TV still not working, back down to reception who then accompanied us to the room to press a few buttons on the remote and finally advised us the TV did not work (I already told them that). They advised we can stay in the room or move as they probably wouldn’t get the tv working. Placed us in a basement room which was a disabled room, this felt like a hospital room, cold, lifeless and with stains all over the sofa bed. Advised them I wasn’t happy, they then had to put us in another room which took some time, by the time we actually got into bed it was close to midnight. The day after I asked for an iron which they advised they would bring to my room, 45 mins later, back down to reception to ask for the iron (they had forgotten). Finally got an iron, however due to the delay we had to rush to meet our checking time for an exhibition. The sound within the hotel travels. Woken up several times In the two nights we were there by people slamming doors in the halls which shook the room! It was ok for the stay but wouldn’t go there again.
Excellent start, bathroom could do with re painting but very comfortable and perfect for a one night stay.
Incredible team
The hotel went above and beyond to set up a cake and balloons I ordered for my wife. A room upgrade, towel swans, a birthday card and rose petals were all displayed. Incredible team. They were all polite and helpful at all hours
The room was incredibly small, but spotless. The shower room was also clean and products provided were good.
Clean and well maintained property. Lovely area. The hot water in the shower, was VERY hot. Other than that a perfect stay
Great place to stay, 150yds from the tube, easy to get to the London Stadium. Staff are Brilliant really friendly and Helpful, rooms are clean and Modern, fantastic place to stay.
A bit small room, even struggled to put a suitcase.
Great location and service
Very efficient and excellent quality bed. The service really stood out and they were able to help straight away. Not for people who want to lounge around in their room but excellent if what’s wanted is a clean and comfortable place to stay in a great location
Small
Very small room
Hotel room and bathroom were nice. We did recieve 1 free drink which i got after we checked out of the hotel. It should have been a srink for 2 people. Did not use the food credit as the kitchen was closed every time we came back to the hotel.
Extremely noisy in the evenings with doors slamming and noisy guests. I have stayed at this hotel before and I have not had this experience. But this time it was bad on all five nights of our stay.
BED BUGS AND BLOODIED BEDDING
In the bedding, I found x2 long black hairs, various small black things + a bug crawling at the foot of the mattress. I spoke with the supervisor, Delroy Daley. I explained I found bugs in the bed, I was told by Delroy it would not be bed bugs + that he “wasn’t trying to patronise me”. It was clear from Delroy’s reaction that he wasn’t shocked by the claims, although he denied the issue of bed bugs. I asked for a new room as the situation was unsanitary, I flagged the new room also potentially having bed bugs. Delroy said that we would simply try another room until the problem was fixed. I was allocated a room on the lower ground with a view of a brick wall + a bathroom with a smell of dampness, despite requesting a similar room. First, we checked the bedding + found blood stains + other fluids on the duvet. It was filthy. We were left with no option but to find alternative accommodation at 11pm. Most hotels were sold out, or at x3 the cost of YOTEL. We found a last minute alternative at a higher cost. When we went to check out at reception, Delroy had disappeared from the desk. When found, I told him the room was not any better, that it had blood on the bedding + we had now been put in a dangerous situation of potentially having nowhere to to sleep for the night in East London. Delroy told us bluntly that his shift was finished + it was not his problem. He then left. This was our first + last experience of YOTEL + will be of YO! Sushi too.
Great location
Good location for the Bethnal Green tube station. Hotel is modern with rooms which are small but adequate. Breakfast is great and the staff are very helpful. Nice places to eat behind the hotel. Will stay again.

Very easy check in with lovely room, made for a perfect weekend stay with my partner.
