Very welcoming and friendly hosts! The room was cute quiet and quaint.
Real Greece
Lovely room in a two floor little house with shared courtyard shame we only booked for one night
This property had friendly staff that were very helpful with any issue that arose! It was walkable to nearby to restaurants, convenience stores, and the beach.
Perfect base to explore beautiful Lindos
We had five nights at Xenones while staying in Lindos for a wedding and it was perfect. It's in a great location for exploring the town and is right on the doorstep of all the bars and restaurants. We understand the larger hotels along the main road allow people to use their pools for the price of a drink which we did on one occasion and I'd recommend that - stay right in the heart of it at Xenones but the option of a pool is there. The terrace at Xenones where they serve breakfast and drinks is lovely with beautiful views over the town and of the Acropolis. We were in room D15 and the little shared courtyard outside was lovely for enjoying lunch or an evening drink. The rooms are fine with a decent size bed, lots of storage and a small kitchenette and bathroom. The very efficient aircon is free (just make sure you turn it off when out) and there is a small safe (although it's not bolted down - but the place is very secure). One tiny thing I would say is the kitchen could be slightly better equipped - there was no sharp knife, chopping board, olive oil, salt, pepper etc as you often get in self catering but it wasn't really a problem as we only made food a handful of times. Arther is a fantastic and very friendly host and nothing is too much trouble and before our arrival Andy was very helpful in assisting us with where to park. (Xenones is a short walk from one of the town's main car parks so very handy). We would throughly recommend Xenones for any Lindos stay.
Great value with friendly staff
Great value for an uncluttered apartment with all needs met for an independent traveller. Clean bathroom with hot shower, kitchenette ( 2 hobs + kettle and fridge) Iron + board, wardrobe & drawers plus safe.
For starts, finding the place took us 2 hours, gps sent us to a subsidiary with no people to help. 3 numbers provided of which no whatsapp, only international call. Second, the room was OK and nice view, but bathroom and kitchen stench made at times our stay unbearable. Sinks were installed without siphon. Not to be repeated.
Excellent value for our one night stay. Isn’t the easiest reception area to find. The bathroom is a bit dated but overall the whole place was spotless. We had an outside area with table and chairs, also a drying area. I would definitely recommend for a short stay.
Straightforward spot in the heart of the village
Straightforward room with everything you need to feel at home in Lindos. No frills, clean, fantastic location in the heart of the village.

Nice clean convenient well located place. The WiFi password is behind the main door to the courtyard if you are staying near room no 14.
Unfortunately my stay in this hotel was not a pleasant one. The rooms look cute in the photos and some really are. The reality however is that the photos can be very misleading. Our room was in a basement style courtyard. There were many annoying factors like a super noisy and not well functioning air-conditioner ,insects of all types ... especially the hundreds of tiny ants and bad bathroom equipment. The worst part however was for me the absolutely horrible matress. I could feel the metal springs piercing my back all night long. On the positive side the neighborhood is quiet and the property has an elevated level of security. Considering the high price and expectations this property rather let us down.

Great location and great staff !
Amazing views!
Hotel was lovely, amazing view of the acropolis from our room. Arther was pleasant and good communication with us. Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfy and we both had cold showers as there was no hot water but it was a good base nonetheless. Loved Lindos and the hotel was in a great spot!!
Great value, service and incredible views from bar
The hotel is in a great location, tucked away at the top of the old town. As with most of Lindos you can only access it on foot, which was fine for us, as we didn't have big bags. The room was nice with a table and chairs outside, plus our own drying rack for towels and cossies. The bed was large as two mattresses, but not the most comfy as lost it's firmness. There was also a wardrobe, dressing table, fridge and a kettle, plus some pans and an electric cooker, as well as plates and glasses but no washing up liquid or cloths. The bathroom was big and shower good, although ours didn't attach to the walls. Then round the corner was the real star of the show, the terrace with views over the acropolis! Also Arthur who runs this place is amazing, on hand in the morning and evening, every day with local advise and great drinks. We would always have a drink on the terrace as by far the best in Lindos, before going to dinner or when we got home. Also you can take your own food and drink up there too. Really good value and amazing service made up for the small faults to it being a slightly older hotel.
Great view from the terrace. Nice and helping crew. Spacious room. A little hard to reach if you travel with a suitcase, not easy all the way up. First store you will see or last if you are going back to your room is a mini market! Very helpful!
Great value for money but a bit rough around the edges. Lindos isn't a cheap destination so all things considered, xenones is a great stay in a very good location but don't expect too much. Views are great, as is the terrace. Bathrooms are fairly small and basic, bedroom is a decent size and clean, but the amenities were slightly lacking. We were told that they are going to get rid of the kitchenettes soon so don't expect too much in that department. Would stay again though.
The apartment was ideally located in a quiet part of Lindos. Lovely walks to either beach areas. Very friendly staff and a quiet bar area with stunning views which was accessible at any time to relax in.
Lindos Greece
Great Location, in the heart of everything
Central location, close to amenities and beach.
Central location, close to beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Room was pretty basic but spotless, cleaned every day. Beds were comfortable and there was a good shower room and air conditioning. Beach towels available at no extra charge. Best feature was the rooftop balcony, spectacular views over town. Lindos is a very old town and sits on a hillside so can be quite steep in areas, flat shoes with good grip a good idea as the footing is a bit slippery from wear. Lindos is also pedestrianised so getting to your apartment means walking from the drop off point at the top of the town or the village square and walking. Lindos is also very busy with day trippers from other resorts to view the acropolis which is worth the climb. Rhodes town is approx 2 hours in the local bus but nice to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lindos.
We stayed in the Economy Double with French balcony. The location was excellent very central and both beaches were easily accessible. In terms of facilities the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Good value for money with the offer we got. The qualms we had were: the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, although a king sized bed was advertised it was actually two single mattresses put together, towels were only changed every three days, the shower was very small and only had a shower curtain, and on one of the days our toilet paper bin was not emptied when the apartment was cleaned. In addition some of the things advertised on Expedia about the property were incorrect. This is something we have taken up with Expedia separately.
Charming place in the center of Lindos
A friend and I spent a wonderful week in Lindos and in a small apartment belonging to Xenones. The accommodation was characterful, with beds on a raised platform, had basic but adequate bathroom and kitchen, and a pretty courtyard in which we spent many a leisurely breakfast. It's location being so close to the center of Lindos and the beaches could not have been better, and yet it was so quiet and peaceful. All the staff were so helpful and attentive, and coming every day to give the apartment a clean and tidy up, with sheets and towels being changed mid way through the week. Beach towels were also provided. A special mention needs to go to Arthur - nothing was ever too much trouble, one example being when he took time and effort in confirming our return transport to the airport and making sure we knew all the arrangements. It was excellent value for money. Lindos is charming, with its winding, narrow walkways and huge array of shops and restaurants. We very quickly took to beach life, opting for the larger main beach in Lindos, spending many relaxing hours on sun beds under a parasol ( €10 per day for 2). There was a lovely sense of calm, it never felt busy and the sea was breathtakingly clear. I for sure will be back again one day.
Great location, walking distance to all the main lindos attractions, beautiful view from the shared terrace. Staff are lovely and helpful.
lovely apartments, lovely staff
The apartments were basic (which we paid for an expected), but very clean, plenty of space and close enough to the beach and everything in the town. Air con and fridge included which is exactly what we needed!! Only sticking point was the beds, we found them very hard and uncomfortable and didn't sleep very well during our stay. But for what we paid, it was a cheap and cheerful stay and the staff were amazing, very helpful and informative.
Close to everything, but just far enough to relax
Really liked it here. The service from start to finish was excellent. The terrace is really nice with a great view of the Acropolis and a couple of nice cats. If you're looking for somewhere that's close to everything in Lindos, but not actually right in amongst it all, this place is perfect!
Part lovely, part bad achitecture
Great value for money in November. Big room and lovely balcony. However, this must be the smallest bathroom I've ever had to use. If the shower at least had glass windows, it would've been ok. But the shower curtain kept sticking to my legs and there was no way to get away from it due to the tiny size of the shower. Also, although the kitchen was well-stocked, there was no space to cook in. You had to unplug the kettle before you could use the toaster, which you had to unplug to try and find a space for the hot plates. The preparation of food had to be done elsewhere. Also, if anyone expected me to buy detergent and a cloth to wash dishes, they were in for a disappointment. I do not buy bottles of detergent and scrubs for a 2 day stay!! The cleaner cleaned the room literally in 3 minutes, so very much a surface clean. The little oven was still dirty from the previous stay. Eeew!
Close to the town shops, very quiet. Manager helpful and friendly
Well located, basic hotel
Pre-warned that arriving late evening in traffic-free Lindos we may struggle to find the hotel, we contacted them in advance and the owner kindly arranged for someone to meet us at the taxi drop-off to escort us to the hotel. Nice touch. The room opened out on to a lovely patio area, shared with a couple of other rooms and was agreat place to sit outdoors with an awesome view of the acropolis. The room however, whilst very clean, was quite basic and some of the room amenities listed on the Expedia site were not apparent e.g. tea/coffe maker (unless this was the kettle), sofa bed, dvd player. Also the wi-fi only worked in the patio, not in the room. The shower was a strange oblong shape that involved regular battles with the shower curtain! However the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was kept lovely and clean.
We have now stayed with Andy 3 times. Great service. Definitely one for the cognoscenti.
Perfect for a family or a couple's getaway
The Xenones LIndos hotel was amazing. Our room came with a private terrace that was huge. We were able to prepare and eat some meals on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views of Lindos. The location gave the hotel a not tourist like feel. It was just far enough off the main street that we could enjoy the narrow roads and stairs which gave Lindos part of its charm. The staff were very helpful and generous. We had a late flight, so they let us keep our room up to 2:30 without extra charge.
Very Good, but avoid ground level rooms
Hotel is well located in Lindos Staff is great and very helpful. The hotel itself is great and allows to relax. But The room we had was not good, located on the ground floor, no real window, super noisy because of surroundings rooms (every shower or toilet flush was being heard). I would recommend to ask for a room upstairs and avoid basement located rooms.
Small better-end apartments away from main noise!
Rooms vary, mine was fab with a balcony, so do research for max enjoyment! View of Acropolis is magnificent. Showers are tiny though. Well equipped, all one needs. My big double bed was wonderful!
Another fab week at Xenones
We have stayed several times at Xenones and this was our second visit this year. We have been visiting Lindos for 30 years and were delighted when we found Xenones. Andy is very pleasant and helpful and always willing to make sure we have all we need to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are well kept and the extras like toiletries and beach towels much appreciated. Many thanks again to Andy, Lily the lovely housekeeper and Arthur who came most days to check everything was okay and if there was anything we needed. We have booked for next June and are really looking forward to staying in Xenines again.
Lovely old apartment in central location
Just back from our first ever trip to Rhodes. Loved our apartment, Lindos and everywhere we visited. Just wish we were still there! Will definitely be going back!
Simple Greek style accommodation
Lovely roof top terrace made up for basic room. Room had some drawbacks, bedside table with three abrased ring marks, no headboard and marked silver rattan laundry style box. Self catering was fridge and two mugs, four cups, so no knives or plates for your own breakfast. Also had to switch on immersion via fuse box. Bathroom has been updated but shower leaks through tray onto floor however ten minutes with window open alleviates. We had quite dark room with frosted film on window so had to switch on light when in room. Overall from outside looks fabulous but bit of style over substance. However overall great placement in lindos and such beautiful views and with remembering how little time you spend in room I certainly wouldn't rule out going back. Sorry I am just being honest with how we felt.
Perfect location
We stayed in Xenones beginning of September 2014 for 8 days. It was difficult to find the apartment (in B block) when we first arrived as Lindos is like a maze of narrow streets, steep slopes and slippery steps. I had been before to Lindos so I knew what to expect. The apartment was comfortable, with everything that we needed. The building and courtyard itself were beautiful, really traditional. There are fantastic views of the town from the roof top terrace where I sat and drank my morning tea watching all the early risers trooping up the Acropolis. The town is very busy, even at this time of year, but once you ambled slowly back up to the apartment it was very quiet, situated above all the noise below. Your leg muscles will definitely improve during your stay in this pretty town, but you soon get used to the hills.
Living in Lindos with great access to the sea
It can get very hot in Lindos in August, but there's no finer place to cool off (most days!) than St Paul's Bay - the kids loved snorkelling, we loved swimming; the little cafe at the north end is a special place. We stayed 10 days, which was on reflection 1-2 days too long - Lindos is very charming, but pretty small - we needed a couple of day trips for a bit of variety: coach trip to fascinating Rhodes Old Town (check out the amazing Archaeology Museum); we also managed to tour most of the island in one day with a hire car - highlights were the west coast in general, Kamiros and Monolithos in particular (including Fourni beach, several hairy hairpins below Monolithos). We also recommend the glass bottom boat trip - especially swimming in the next bay!
Great location for all facilities in Lindos
Although the heart of Lindos is rather steep to approach from the Parking B Area, once I settled in and being a lady visiting on my own, I found the Main Square to be a better drop off and pick up place due to heavy cases and I was on my own. My experience was most enjoyable and I will definitely be returning to Xenones Apartments, Block D as soon as possible. Many thanks again Andrew, Meggie and Lily for your hospitality. Kind regards Miriam Gorman.
Convenient for Lindos village & beach
Comfortable room with lovely balcony. Surprisingly quiet & close to restaurants, bars & ships. Easy walk to acropolis & beach. Only downside was not having place to shower when we departed late in day.
Comfortable room, close to all amenities;
We had a very enjoyable two weeks, the room was comfortable and close to the town and beaches. The only down side was a very steep climb from the town up some very slippery steps.
restful and comfortable stay
It was a nice and comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly. The room is simple, calm and clean. It was like a pearl of Lindos. It took time to find the location because of the complicated streets in town.
Great Apartments, right in the center of town
We had a lovely stay at Xenones Lindos. The apartments were very spacious and modern. The proximity to the local drag could not be beat (though, it did take a bit of a search to initially find the hotel!). No real complaints about the place, except the lack of a view (though some rooms do have great acropolis views). All in all, a lovely stay in a lovelier town.
Good apartment in middle of town
I thought the apartment was fine. My only complaint was there was no tea towel or dishcloth or washing up liquid so washing up cups and glasses was a slight problem. We only went for 4 days so did not want to waste my handluggage allowance with said items!
Loved every bit of it, great location
Most happy with the service, location and views where amazing , so wished we had more time. Room had an amazing roof balcony with fantastic views. Andy the owner was very helpful.
Comfortable and clean, fantastic location!
Great hotel in quiet location but close to all amenities (5mins to local shops and 15mins to beach). Hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean and comfortable. Self catering is quite basic but there are plenty of fantastic and good value restaurants in the town. Highly recommend To Kamapiko taverna just round the corner, which serves traditional food and the best Greek salad in town, and Odyssia, which is easily the best restaurant in Lindos and has the prettiest courtyard. Both had great service and lovely setting and atmosphere. Also recommend going to St Paul's bay, the beach is much smaller than the main beach but very pretty!
Not worth the $, better places available.
I do not recommend the hotel as our studio did not have several components that were promised in the hotel description (e.g., no satellite TV, no DVD/CD, music player, Mp3 player or living area with a couch). When we complained and were provided with a DVD player, there was no power outlet close enough to the TV to plug in the player so we couldn't use it. The safe is a joke as it's not bolted to anything - it's just sitting in the closet. The description also says 'you can prepare breakfast or have it prepared for you' but this service does not exist at all. We stayed at the hotel for five nights and we had all but five minutes of hot water every time we showered, despite following the water heater instructions provided by the owner. Additionally, the area outside our room had a terrible smell (i.e.,garbage, sulfur). If you stay at the hotel, I hope you have a better experience.

Another amazing stay here
Lovely stay (my 3rd time here). Arthur and his staff very friendly and helpful. Room lovely, cleaned daily as was the very pleasant outdoor area
