We had a wonderful 5 days. My husband played golf, I walked the grounds every day. The pools were amazing and the service was attentive and concerned. We ate at all of the restaurants and can highly recommend them. The nightly entertainment in the bar was especially enjoyable. All of the musicians were top notch. We will return!

Very nice stay 1/26-1/31. The resort was not crowded at all so no waiting for anything. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Happy that they have running/walking trails and the aura pool was great to do laps. The food at breakfast was amazing. We got breakfast included and it was worth it. Roots and Palio restaurant were our favorite.

Our stay was excellent with a family with two teen girls. The room was large and well appointed, and the amenities were excellent on property. It was easy to get a pool or beach chair. Even though we couldn’t swim in the ocean due to riptides, the river down the beach was a beautiful place to walk. All the food was delicious all around, and staff was helpful.

We had a nice time staying at this property. I did feel like it was overpriced for the value. Our room could have used an upgrade, but housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it clean throughout our stay. The main pool is still under construction, so our pool had many kids swimming and splashing. The hotel wasn't very crowded when we went which was really nice. I would stay here again when the main pool is finished.

Mediocre

First, we booked a king sized bed for a romantic vacation. Our room had two queens and they told us they had no kings available. They gave us a $300 credit. There was a lot of dust build up on curtains and in the vents. Strong mildew smell that affected my sleep. Used the fridge for food and it froze it rock solid. I asked the restaurant to heat it up on a plate and it was a gigantic to-do, took a half hour of explaining and waiting. A wing of the building was going through renovation, which was very loud from the nicer pool. Also meant the jacuzzi there didn't work. The resort fee should have been reduced bc of this. The beach had significant trash but otherwise beautiful. The waitstaff was attentive, pleasant and friendly. But one guy did prompt us pretty aggressively to leave a trip advisor review. At first we thought it was just for him, but then he instructed us to include praise for the hotel. Also really sad to see the macaws kept outside for decoration in dirty cages.

Just about perfect

It was all around wonderful! Only thing that could have made it better was softer towels- the ones provided were pretty scratchy. Otherwise, stellar.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms, helpful staff, and especially loved the beach right on the property. Much more peaceful and less people than going out to a public beach. The restaurants on site are great too.

Easy check in, very helpful and friendly staff. Whenever I called something to the room, they came right away. All the staff go out of their way to make your trip, comfortable and relaxing. Love the turn down service.

The room was filthy. Wrinkles in the sheets, the bed felt wet and as if sand was never washed off it, and the curtains were covered in mold and mildew. They are undergoing renovations but it seems the whole place needs a MASSIVE cleaning. Good stuff? The swim up bar is cool. Of course it is, it’s a swim up bar. The beach views are pretty. The food was good, however overpriced it is (we spent $85 for a BUFFET BREAKFAST). Do yourself a favor and skip this. It’s just a capitalist scam designed to make rich white people feel safe in a territory predominantly occupied by brown people. Touch grass, go have an experience elsewhere. Otherwise, hole up in this sterile, trashy, gimmick of a hotel if that’s your vibe.

Nice hotel but nothing special. Staff were really helpful but the hotel itself could use a refresh.

Customer service is excellent. They takw care of you and cater to evwry need. 9 restaurants. Great facilty.

We stayed at the Wyndham 12-17 thru 12-23. The property is beautiful steps from the beach. Pay extra for the ocean view room you will not regret it! Every staff member there is attentive and kind including transportation services and excursion guides. They are going thru a remodel which didn’t interrupt our stay to much. A couple of the pools were closed kids were bummed because it was the one that had the slide. We just shuttled down to the beach club pool which was bigger and quieter than the one at the resort and had a great time. They are remodeling hotel rooms as well which are in need. Ours was not bad, just needs updating. Chipped floor tile, corroded shower dispenser that fell off the shower wall, outlet that was loose and didn’t work in the bathroom. But nothing too major. A positive on the room was there was never any room noise coming from other guests staying around us very quiet. Expedia has this place advertised that they accept cash. They DO NOT this is a cashless resort. You can bring cash to tip that is it. If you’re looking for a relaxing, safe, quiet vacation this is the place for you. I will be coming back to stay her in the future. I love Puerto Rico!

Handicap bathroom needs to be re configured. More drainage and curtain to keep the floor from getting soaked

Perfect beach stay

We stayed here for two nights and had an amazing time. The beach is well maintained and all the staffs are super helpful. The only downside is the food options are a bit lacking and overly priced, and it's not very convenient to go out to get food (10min uber to the nearest restaurants).

Amazing!!! However when I approached the desk, they told me they were out of rooms. I was able to find many on hotels.com (but it was confusing because I had been told they were booked.) I had to give my credit card for payment again, even though I already had payment confirmation. Really hoping I don’t get charged twice!!

The property has everything you could want as far as convenience is concerned. Rooms are clean, property is very well maintained, staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, beach and accessability to the beach were excellent. It is all on the more expensive side of travel and accomodations but like anything else in life, you get what you pay for and i believe in the case of this hotel, it is worth it.

The restaurants had good food and drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful. Decorations for the Christmas holiday were beautiful.

The entire hotel is beautiful, the service is wonderful, the pool is fun, the cocktails are cheap, and the availability of car rentals at the hotel helped us a lot.

My stay was great , service was great … they gave me a too and a suite no charge for my birthday because some maintenance issues came came up in the room i booked earlier before i arrived , did not like the fact the two pools was closed looking out the balcony of my stay . Other than that everything was great . They even served me champagne on my arrival.

We payed for a suite and it made no difference than a regular room. The room was like a bad and cheap motel from any interstate.

We loved this property. It’s a beautiful resort.

The property was under renovations, but it didn’t impact our stay too much. The location being right by the beach and a short drive from El Yunque was my favorite part! I would definitely recommend renting a car if you’re staying for a few days because there’s a lot more to do in the area.

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with my invoice for weeks now, and the experience has been beyond frustrating. I’ve reached out to the billing department multiple times, even spoke with a manager, but it feels like nobody cares enough to actually help. Despite my efforts, I’m still no closer to a resolution, and it’s incredibly disappointing to be treated this way as a customer. I expected better support and accountability.

I didn’t like the staff making promises of champagne and hotel credit to listen to a presentation. After spending 2 hours of my vacation they did not remember what they said. No big deal, just will not return

Property was very clean and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

I liked the hotel. The only down fall was the construction. I knew it was going on but it was really loud and when you get an "upgraded" room becuase your room is under construction don't put them right next to the construction. I did like however that they did give out water at the beach and chairs and umbrellas really helped.

Room for Improvement

Overall our stay was great but there were a few areas that could’ve been better. The resort was undergoing renovations so we heard drilling everyday after 9 am that lasted throughout the afternoon. The cleaning staff didn’t get to our room until late in the afternoon so there were 2 days the room wasn’t cleaned because we were already back in the room before the staff got to our room after our morning/early afternoon activities. Lastly, we initially agreed to do the time share property tour for a discounted round of golf but later informed the employee that scheduled this for us that we were backing out and to just have the resort charge us the original fee for the round of golf. That employee tried to guilt trip us for changing our mind and told us we cost him $100 - Im assuming that would’ve been his commission if we had done the tour.

My boyfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed! Great staff and food! Steps from private beach.

No access to anything on the property as they were renovating and did not tell you until it’s time to check in a day before.

I purchase my stay/room when i got to the hotel i had to pay separate fee for each day im staying for plus the deposit thats the first time that ever happened to me.

This a resort that will come with extra fee. However, we didn’t know a good part of swimming pools were under remodeling at the time of booking. This was informed to us after the booking. My wife loves to swim as other opened pools were very small. (More for kids frolicking instead). The staff were pleasant and the facilities were clean.

I've been here before and always liked it. Unfortunately this time they were remodeling the main pool.

Lot of hidden charges. 1. Extravagant resort fee each day 2. Valet parking (kinda not optional, because you can’t self-park) each day 3. Food is terrible 4. Staff at reception is not friendly, doesn’t personalize experience for each guest. Pros 1. Really nice property, close to rainforest, and nice east PR places. 2. Big rooms My suggestion to not eat at property and travel may be 2 miles for amazing food options

Transportation to airport is costly

I really enjoyed the staff but i booked this trip in may and they didn't let me know till a week before my trip that they were having renovations on the resort that took away two of the three pools they had to offer. online the hotel states that it is all inclusive and its actually not, you literally have to pay for everything separate. they are not located near any restaurants that you wont have to get a taxi or an rental car for. Had to spend so much more money that i wasnt prepared to spend after spending almost 2k for the trip i ended up spending almost 1k more just to have fun and enjoy myself. I will not be going to that resort again.

When I loved about this property is that it was easy access to the beach. What I did not like about that room that we stayed in was that Had a terrible smell In the room. It smelled extremely outdated and old it gave me a stomach ache every time I walked in the room.

The property eservice levels were superior, and the food quality and gluten free options were well considered. The Lobby Bar wine portions were consistent, but the cocktails were excellent. Excellent, thank you

Everything was really sparkling clean and nice

TERRIBLE! Some of the pools were under construction. Our room was not cleaned properly at all. One of their restaurants, which allowed us to make reservations, was already closed and shouldn't have allowed reservations. The 'main' pool was disgusting!!!! Dirty! Just an awful resort. I've been to PR many times and I would NEVER stay here again.

I was aiming for a secluded quiet weekend and thats exactly what I got! Property was nice and clean. The beach was perfect.

The property is beautiful and the staff are great! The property is undergoing renovations so the pool with the slide was closed, which was a major disappointment for my daughter. The casino could also use an upgrade. Overall, we had an amazing time. The beach staff were attentive and friendly.

Run away !!!

Dont visit! At least until they do major updates. I had to be moved the next day due to a moldy smell and room so extremely run down. Rust on the lamp shades. Patio doors are filthy and need to be pressure washed. Balls of hair “ not mine “ in the “clean room” . Bed is squeaky as you sit. The view was of the pool being currently remodeled. So expect loud machine noises. The restaurants are great and have amazing dishes. The property however is dated needs MAYOR work. Not worth the price . Will not recommend or revisit.

Great Hotel.

Love this hotel, the only point is that all the floors are pet friendly. The smell of wet dog in tbe hallways is not very pleasant

It is pet friendly so at night we heard a dog barking, we reported it and the barking continued. Our bathroom smelled like wet dog, really nasty, we decided to stay because we were only there to sleep but will NEVER stay again and do not recommend. Hotels that are pet friendly have separate floors for that not unlike smoking floors, this hotel allows pets anywhere and even the towels smelled bad

Amazing resort!

The property was beautiful no complaints on that the room smelled moldy the entire stay I went with my wife and 9 month old daughter on our last night some kids decided to play ding dong ditch and bang on our door at midnight while my daughter was sleeping I give the hotel 3 out of 5 stars they stay could have been. Little more pleasant

I get they are renovating but the room was moldy hard to breath brought to front desk and they just offerd a deep clean when I tried to change rooms

It was beautiful. Great access to the beach. Beach was very clean! I wish they had more food options. Several of the pools were closed due to construction and remodeling. One thing to consider, Wyndham guests only have access to certain pools. In the future it would be great if there were a shuttle that guests could pay for to visit San Juan. Regardless of it all I definitely will visit Puerto Rico again.

Worse expat the check in

The hotel room was not very clean, the room felt very humid. The hotel in general needs care.

My stay was wonderful. The hotel met all my needs. I wish all the pools were in operations. However, they were under renovations until Christmas 2024. Otherwise, the stay here was dope.
