The room had a horrible odor and so did the hallways. The microwave oven did not function. The beds were not comfortable and housekeeping did not clean our room or give us fresh towels. I will not stay there again.

Stayed here 4 nights and they were not good. The hallways stank, the beds were uncomfortable and made alot of noise when moving, the people on the room on top of us made so much noise running around that we had a hard time sleeping, the floor in our room was sticky, the water at the shower kept switching between hot/cold every couple of seconds, our room was right next to the expressway and we heard traffic all night,Overall the stay was not good.

We were given a room that the door didn't close not unless it was force to close. My husband had to push the latch to force the door to close and he cut his finger. I reported the incident to front office. I asked for a few band aid because the bleeding won't stop and asked to change rooms.

John at the front desk was amazing. We switch room 3 times, because the first room had toilet and shower issues. The second room had legit bed bugs crawling in the floors when we turned the lights on. Very uncomfortable stay. Would not stay and woodsuites again. The halls smelt like dogs and cigs. The hotel is very run down. But John was amazing and helped us through it all. Very good employee but just a horrible building.

Unfortunately found few bugs in the room I stayed in. Tv wasn’t working which I call reception and they said they would take a few mins to assist us. An hour went by ..called again and apologized they forgot but would be there in a min. Never came.

We seen many roaches in the room. Wasn’t very clean.

Facility needs to be exterminate. Baby roaches in room.

This hotel is disgusting! It was dirty there were roaches everywhere and it smelled horrible. I opened the refrigerator and there were roaches inside and a crushed Roach in the door, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I wish I could get my money back.

No front desk attending

Room floor was dirty with old hair ties, hair and dirt in bath tub, bathroom vent full of dust. Toilet was clogged when got in room good thing we only needed the room a few hours to sleep for the night and my little is still in diapers. Fence Gate to get into parking lot not working so had to use drive thru gate to walk to gated parking lot.

The hotels were all booked for a huge festival. I chose this hotel and the hotel smelled as soon as we entered to check in. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The bed had a long hair in, however the cleaning lady was nice enough to give us a fresh sheet for the bed. After Lysoling the whole room the stench of cigarettes was still there. After spending one night there and packing up we even saw a roach. Needless to say we will not stay there again.

No toiletries, rouches in the room, elevator did not work all the time and had to use stairs, and checking out was not easy.

Average stay. Nothing great at all.

The stay was very average. Many problems in the rooms. Faucets were broken, couldn't take a bath as the faucet was set to shower and could not release. Air conditioner was cool and not cold.

I was skeptical about staying here because of the reviews about roaches and the reviews were correct….there were in fact small roaches in our room. I saw 2 immediately upon arrival near the bed and several in the restroom. Otherwise seemed fairly clean and staff was nice. Also no hand soap for washing hands, only a small shampoo bottle

We had a horrible experience. First room didn't have a working toilet or tv. We got moved, 2nd room was good at first, saw a tiny roach in the bathroom, didnt think anything of it. When getting ready to go to bed we saw another roach and a bigger one at that on the head board of the bed. Then another one. Went to complain and all she wanted to do was spay medicine and not move us. Ummm, no. We got moved rooms and on another floor at that and there were roaches in there as well. We went to complain again and the lady called her boss and had her on speaker. She told me we were not a good fit for them and that she was going to give me a refund and we had to leave. This was at 11:30pm. We we're so frustrated and upset. She even told me that she would call the cops on us if we didnt go. The worst experience and hotel we have ever stayed in.

The lobby area was hot as well as the elevator, there were holes in the walls, and roaches crawling around the room.

Hotel felt more like an apartment complex rather than a hotel, front desk reception was super friendly. Rooms were clean. Would recommend if you’re seeking an extended stay. As they do provide stove, refrigerator, etc.

Easy to book on Expedia, secure. The conditions of the hotel were good, clean and also equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, there were glasses but t is necessary to place a water bottle or water dispenser since we were in summer and the temperature was 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Not clean, bed almost broken, table broken, window blinds dirty and broken, restroom was the worst. Don’t ever come here. I told the front desk about it and he just said “oh, sorry no refunds” didn’t bother to have someone to clean. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at.

I didn’t like that the beds were too small. There wasn’t a pool. Overall everything else was good.

I had to throw away the trash myself to the dumpster that was on the other side of the building. and these were indications of the front desk. Sheets were dirty and just one towel. Wow.

Have low expectations

Very limited service. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Shower had a running leak. Hotel has clean but poorly maintained. Desk personnel are friendly but hours are limited. Once you check in there are no refunds. There is a lot of noise from the road and the other guests. It was clean and I felt safe.

Place says pet friendly, when I went to check in they said only service animals were allowed. Then when I request a refund they rejected my request and charged me the full amount

Too many people outside

The place as showed is now how it looks in person… I am a woman and I felt very unsafe staying here, but that wasn’t the only thing there where ROACHES in the bed when we arrived I asked to change rooms they did so … just to get the next room and there where hairs all over the sink and dirty towels. I couldn’t even stay there for the night I have to leave and book another hotel at 1:30 am. So inconvenient, dirty, unprofessional, and rude staff I will never recommend this place and never come here again.

we went to go check in for the hotel and there were guest smoking right by the door, didn’t move by for us to get in and ignored the sign of no smoking. when we got to the room, the bathtub was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty - there was no hot water at all. we left the water on for at least an hour. the lamp had no lightbulb (the only lamp in the room). the tv didn’t work. when we woke up in the morning to try and get some sort of shower in, there were bugs in the tub. i checked out after only being there to sleep for 6 hours and called the hotel to cancel and i wanted a refund for the rest of the nights. i had to go find another hotel at 6 am to get some sleep. when i called, the manager was so rude. she was no accommodating at all. she really did not care about the issues we had. i’m from out of town and was visiting and i will never stay there again. if you want to stay in a dirty motel, then stay here.

For the price I was expecting less but I was very surprised and very pleased with this hotel. Aside from being able to hear the traffic off the highway our room was clean. It had a little bit of an odd smell but other than that room was very clean so was the restroom. No eeks or surprises. Bed was clean and free of any spots. I’d stay here again

I don’t think I have anything good to say about this place. The guy at the front didn’t say much didn’t greet me just said “can I see your ID”. Gave me papers to sign and and my card. I had to ask him okay how do I get through the gate. Then I had to figure figure out what door to go in through that was closest to elevator didn’t even tell me my room numbe or which way was faster there was Noo communication. The room was dirty I was dusty, picked up a towel after I showered and it was nothing but dust, stains in the mattress blankets, restroom mirror and toilet disgusting . Just would never stay here again!!!!

This place is infested with roaches. Don't come here.

Quiet and safe

The check in was an hour process for the particular day. I had my vehicle towed to this location because housekeeping had taken my CAR key. I had suggested the idea that housekeeping took because the key was on the floor where I remember it falling the evening before. My vehicle was towed to The Candlewood at a cost of 130.00, I think the date was Oct. 27, 2023. I was escorted off property on Oct. 30, 2023

After I was told that I needed to resubmitted payment for my extended stay : Oct 30 thru Nov. 1 2003. I was thrown out and escorted and left on the Frontage Road on The PanAmerica 35 Hywa South. I was standing there hours because I had no way of starting my car. Why? Because housekeeping or the South park La Quinta had taken my car key. In did not receive the key back, after I asked for it, Nov 3, 2023. My mind was in shock and I had the option of booking with the Motel 6 that is next door to The Candlewood. After the completed check in was confirmed, I was told that I could not stay because of a negative infraction on my history. This infraction was discovered using my Texas Identification.

As soon as I walked through the door I walked into a dirty, rusty, dented up refrigerator.

I was not satisfied with our when we arrived to our room as soon as we entered our room there were roaches our room we contacted the front desk all they did is take a work order did not even apologize I spoke to the manager she yes that was company policy was not happy there will not go back

Bad stay

Roaches in literally 2 of the 3 rooms we were in..then assigned me to an occupied room where i was cussed at by the guest in said room no fault of his though. Standards are terrible here..

Dissapointed

Had a bad experience. Their system was down so they couldn't make a room key for me and I had to drive back home 3hrs away.

Housekeeping check your rooms

The only positive thing was check in. The guy up front was fast. There were too many negatives to take pictures of. The shower hand held had nowhere to go, just was on the floor; it fell on my foot while I was showering. Moldy shower all around base. The sheets smelled. I cannot recommend this hotel.

I did not spend the night. I walked in, saw it and left because the rom was infested with bugs.

Toilet got stopped up they never came to unstop it so had to stay with a dirty toilet

It was a nice stay. Clean room and great service. Only complaint was the beds. Not to comfortable but manageable.

Concert Stay

Check in was a bit long but I’ve been double charged before and I was about to again. Not necessarily the gentleman fault, manager eventually came to help him and train him.

the man at the front desk was rude and not friendly. the hotel is very dirty. in my room the sheets are terrible and there were many cockroaches. I couldn't make the claim because when I left the hotel, the curtain was closed, although you could see that there were people on the other side, I knocked on the window several times but no one opened it. In short, lousy service.

It was fairly close to my family who I went to visit. But the room smelled up mold and I ended up being sick for most of my stay.

We stayed in 320 and there was black mold in the restroom above the shower. The towels were dirty. The kitchen cabinets has german roaches. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows had no cushion. However, the lady that greeted me was amazing.

I reserved a room, paid for it, I get there,and they employee doesn't let me check in cause my work truck is to big, and not only do they not let me check in they won't give me a refund, I will never use this hotel or sight again, so now I have to go to the bank and stop payment

The only issue was the check in clerk was inexperienced and double charged me, didn’t extend my stay and therefore caused me to have to hunt for another room by the end of the week when I found out.

It was ok . If you are on fixed budget this is the pkace for you. Pet fees are too high.
