Overnight stay

My husband & I had a great overnight stay! The shower was fabulous! I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

It was a great stay, staff was friendly, room was clean with a great view!

The outside appearance and the lobby was very warm and inviting. The sitting area and bar area in the Lobby were decorated nicely. The staff were welcoming and very kind. I did pick the room with upgrade listed on Expedia and paid a little more for the upgrade but I am not sure what the upgrade was. I did not like my room very much. I had the room on the bottom floor next to the ice maker. The rooms are not sound proof what so ever. The gap at the bottom of the door was so much so that you could see people walking by in the hallway and hear people chewing ice and drinking their drinks. Rooms on the other floors may be better, this is just what I observed being on the bottom floor. The bed was comfortable. The shower was big and nice however it had mildew stains in the grout on the outside and inside. With a little TLC this place could be a 5 star.

Everything was good and convenient. My room AC seemed not adjustable and probably functional.

Beautiful property and easy check-in. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Beautiful room. We didn’t sleep well and we think it was because it was too quiet. We heard people walking the halls at 3:30 am and we heard people conversing early in the morning. There was no noise, like air or heat, that would drown out any noises.

A beautiful, historic property. Terrific views of the gulf, huge rooms, amazing artwork. Elegant, convenient, and very reasonably priced.

While the property was beautiful and historic it is in disrepair. Dirty carpets, dusty floor, windows and room with a moldy wet smell that lingered on your clothing after you came home. Visible mold in the shower and a clear layer of dust on all surfaces. Rust on lamps and doors. Will not return!!!

This was a really nice property. There is nothing negative to say it was clean, safe nd affordable for a Saturday night. I would stay here again.

The White House is a beautiful building with history. We were only there for a night’s stay and it was out of season for using the pool. Our King bed room was comfortable and clean, but really small. When you open the door the bed is right there. The bathroom is small and has a small open area to hang clothes w a safe on the shelf. There is no closet in the room. The bed was comfortable and the decor was updated. We had breakfast which was really good but is actually served at the bar, not a restaurant. The server waiting on customers there was shorthanded until someone else arrived to assist. We waited awhile. She was very busy, but friendly and accommodating. I think Her name was Amanda and she was working hard.

Have stayed here many times and always come back.

Only thing I hated was our room had a door to another room, with no lock on our side.

The bed was a little too firm for me. The building is beautiful and safe. The shower was incredible. Wish the rooms has a fridge.

Biloxi treasure!!!!!

A beautiful Hotel with lots of history. The staff was very nice and helpful. I love the quiet laid back setting in this area and not the casino scene. If you like that it’s within minutes drive. Right across from the beach and has lots of seating areas to relax on the property. Room was very nice and bed comfortable. They have a nice bar on main lobby that has a great breakfast menu. The main restaurant is under remodeling at the time my husband and I went but the menu looked delicious. We have definitely found us a new place to stay when we return to Biloxi.

Anniversary weekend

It’s a beautiful place overlooking the Biloxi bay. I have stayed here several times and will again. Do yourself a favor a book a room you won’t regret it.

Being on the water-- beautiful scenery to wake up to-- staff very accommadating

Room sparse. Not Crumbs on various surfaces. Drawer open. Chairs and ottoman in disarray. TV screen seemed like it was going out. The outside facade and grounds are impressive, the room was lacking.

Small issues

We had a great view of the Gulf, but the room had some issues that needed to be fixed and talked to the Maintenance Man in charge. They are already working on another building next to it , so it’s a work in progress. Still, knowing they are addressing the issues it was still worth the stay.

We liked that it was easy to get to, essy to park and check on. Room was clean and we had great convo with the bartender ( believe her name was Savannah???) Overall a good stay.

The elevator smelled of bug spray which shows they take care of the place but was extremely loud. Not many tv channels which the rooms are meant to be old with history so there is nothing to do.

I love the hotel but not kid friendly

Outstanding customer service with an excellent view of the beach.

Unfortunately, we weren't terribly impressed.

The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The property has a great location and is very attractive from the outside. The lobby is also spacious and the bar is very pretty. The condition of the carpet in the hallways was not good, there is no chair in the room, and we had no idea it was located so close to train tracks. There were issues with the shower doo, it wouldn't stay closed. You need to get out of the bed to turn the bedside lamps on and off.

Thought i was going back in time NOT Here

I had high hopes for this place. We arrived to our room and there was candy, straws and paper under the desk which we ignored. The toilet had a urine smell think it was caused by the toilet not flushing completely sprayed Lysol the T.V. Had 2 bright Pixels that distracted you while watching not to mention it was so dark you could barely see what was on. The A/C was so cold we had to ask for an extra blanket which really didnt help. We tried to turn the thermostat up to a hotter temp but about 1hr we were freezing again. The pillows were like marshmallows very uncomfortable. We thought about ordering room service only to realize that we had no where to eat if we did. They had no seats to sit in to watch T.V. Except for some roll around stools which were useless. No shear curtain so you could open and let Light in which the room really needed. Because in the main light fixture they had 2 burnt lights. Not enough plug outlets for modern day work their Internet if any was super slow. I have been passing this place for at least the last 40yrs wondering if i could ever afford to stay at a golden years hotel which i figured would be elegant and unique only to be so desappointed but for the money i spent to stay there for 2 nights i expected much more. So you will not get any good stars from me Highly Disappointed. And I sure there is many things i am Missing that was wrong about this hotel. But you know I took the chance of booking and I wasted my time and money. It needs HELP

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. We asked for extra blankets at the front desk and someone was in the hall with them before we got back to our room.

It was not the typical cookie cutter motel.

Nice historic property.

Historical property was very nice. The room smelled wonderful. Checkin staff Rachel was very friendly. The linens were nice, crisp and smell good. However, my room was across from the elevator so it was quite noisy with housekeeping noise. The AC left a little bit to be desired. Bathroom lighting definitely needs help.

This property is stately, historical and stunning! We loved it! Location is great, off in a residential section overlooking the water but just 10 minutes from all the action / casino's etc. Great value too.

Beautiful place with a wonderful history

This was our second stay. The property was clean and the staff were friendly. The bartenders quickly learned our preferred drinks and provided dining suggestions.

We were so confused by this hotel! It is a beautiful property, with so much history. The staff were so friendly and the bar and restaurant were top notch. Everything we got from Cora's was excellent. The third floor terrace was beautiful, as was the pool area and the grounds My poor rating is purely from the condition and quality of the rooms. My mom, my 18 month old son and I shared a room with two queen beds. It was clearly a handicap "accessible room" but it felt so bare and lacked any amenities. There was no table to sit at so when we ordered room service, we were stuck balancing on the beds. We also found out too late that there were no refrigerators or microwaves in any of the rooms, which was a nightmare trying to keep my kiddos milk and perishables safe. The blinds were not fitted well and let in a considerable amount of light (also hard with a toddler!) There were so many little things about the rooms and amenities that just kept adding up that it really distracted from the beauty of the property and the public spaces. Things like no sources of water beyond purchasing 20 oz bottles from the vending machine or getting it from the sink taps, the outlets in our room were clearly not anchored onto a stud, and the sad state of the outdoor furniture. I really wanted to love this place, and we mostly did, and maybe next time we stay some of these items will be addressed.

Amazing Hotel!

I just love this gem! The rooms are HUGE! A wonderful place to transport you into the past, while having all the updates and amenities you need. A wonderful atmosphere.

absolutely stunning and in a really great location

Last minute getaway..

Decided last minute to go spend the weekend with my fiance, so literally found the room the day before. Booked online, showed up and was impressed as soon as we arrived. It's an older historic hotel that's been modernized. Front desk was very polite and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Very quiet stay. Woke up and ordered breakfast from the restaurant in the hotel, had it delivered to my room. Food was great. There is a bar downstairs as well, watched a few minutes of the game. It's literally about a minutes drive from the casino's. Beach is across the street. Very comfortable, relaxing stay. Check out was simple. All and all, I will definitely be back, we had an amazing time for a last minute booking.

This is a beautiful old hotel with such unique history. All of the photos throughout are amazing. The bar was excellent. Great for couples.

We went on a Sunday, so it was very quiet, and very few people there. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable.

We celebrated our anniversary there, and had a wonderful time! The staff went above and beyond, service was excellent! We will definitely stay there again, highly recommend staying there.

The room looked nothing like the advertising the furniture looked as if it was found on the sidewalk they had mixmatched lamps it smelled there was hair in the bathroom intertwined into the towels it was awful

The olace was beautiful and we loved it! The only thing I would suggest is to change out the pillows! We had a double queen room and all 6 of the pillows were awful! Like full of air as if you were sleeping on a balloon.

i enjoyed the stay was surprise that they didnt have a macwave nor a refrigerator.

We had higher expectations for a 3 star hotel at the price point of this. It was nice and clean, but not what we expected for the price. You can stay at just as nice places for half the price. Only bad things is the pillows were tiny and the bathroom at the pool was nasty.
