It was more than my expectations friendly staff, close to shopping center, and basic needs for travellers were provided. Only in dinning area a tissue box was missing.

We had a great experience here at Warrnambool. On arrival we were upgraded out of courtesy, and the people working here were very helpful. Our kids had a ball on the play equipment and we weren't too far from the beaches. Would stay here again.

Our unit was next to the men's toilet & there were 4 rubbish bins just outside the window; main road noise was acceptable despite being ever present. The unit was well equipped including a lounge, kitchen, table & chairs. Shower water was perfect. Could not fault the inside of the unit. Location of the Holiday Park meant that it was easy to find.

Late check-in and not a blip from ownership.... friendly and most accommodating. Great for young families.

The property was well maintained and had a great atmosphere. We stayed in an apartment but the other accommodation also looked inviting.

Enjoyed the quiet family friendly environment. All facilities within eyeshot of our cabin. Lovely clean and well maintained grounds. Cabins are aged and could do with some modernising with simple touches.

Female staff were very helpful and friendly, male staff were unnecessarily rude with imposing Dan Andrew style curfews after 9pm with an expectation to stay in your cabin also park bathrooms were kept locked most of the time, although my cabin had a bathroom it would of been handy to have use of the parks bathroom too as 6 of us were sharing the cabin one.

Great value for a family stay

Great stay for a short school holiday break with my grandson - aged 7. Service was very friendly and we were kindly given a cabin opposite the jumping pillow. This park is great $ value and makes taking a trouble free short break easy. We needed to bring bedding for the bunk my grandson was to sleep in, but received a reminder message from the park management to remind us of this, which was very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Heating unit within the property was unpleasant

only stayed for one night and it was great. we were in a studio cabin and the facilities were clean, bed was comfy and the room was the perfect size. the service was great and staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Clean, spacious & convenient.

The rooms were way way waaay too small. The beds were closer to a prison than anything. Staff were friendly but the price for what we got was definitely not worth it one bit. A positive note was it was well located.

As far as what you would usually expect for a holiday park, this was the best I've stayed in. Management have created a very comfortable and professional environment. Everything in excellent condition. Park had a lovely atmosphere. Excellent management seem to attract respectful guests. Others in the park that we met and spoke to were equally happy

Very handy for an overnight stay

Clean and surprisingly spacious cabin. Had everything we needed for the night. If staying longer would prefer a bigger area, but was perfect for what we needes. Staff were friendly, good central location.

The picture is possibly a renovated cabin but the one we were put in was old and dated ,it was a lot smaller than what we thought for a family of 4

The park manager was lovely and attentive. She listened, apologised and promised to take action when I report my concerns about the lack of cleanliness in the second bedroom of our unit soon after our arrival. Sadly, I found the rest of the unit was also not clean, in my opinion. There was a spill in the second bedroom's wardrobe tracks and when i wiped it with a disinfecting wipe to see if it was a spill or a stain, a significant amount of dust and grime covered the wipe. There was dust behind the tv, around the top of the shower, the bedroom mirror and most ledges. The foil lining the grill had been used before us. There was removable grime between the edge of the sink and bench. A relatively fresh looking nectarine pip was on the table outside our unit and the smoking neighbour sat a his table outside our main bedroom window. While this unit was not in the top price range, I believe 'budget' should relate to the quality of the environment not the cleanliness.

Nothing was to much trouble very friendly and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Easy to find and no problems with entry into and out of accommodation. Overall an excellent experience.

The staff greeting us tlat check-in were so friendly and welcoming, they went out of their way to provide maps and details of events on to accommodate us and our kids. The apartment room was so fresh and looked brand new and was lovely and clean. So much to keep the kids entertained also our kids loved it. The room was warm and clean and we will definately be coming back again.

For my purposes (a bed, bathroom and kitchen with fridge), it was just right. It was quiet and dark at night, ideal for a good night's sleep, with curtains and blinds to block all light. I stayed in July (very cold) and needed to leave the heater on all night, and I took my own rug and used their wool blanket as well. No tissues, soap or toiletries were provided. You need to pay for refills if you run out of toilet paper or tea/coffee items. The driveway is one way and even though I was right next to the entrance, I had to drive the entire loop of the park to park next to my cabin.

Property was clean. Staff were rude, defensive blamed wotif / expedia for not putting their extra charges on. We booked for 2 adults in a room that sleeps 5 but had to pay another $30 on arrive because we we're sharing the queen bed. $30 to put sheets on a bed, that's a disgrace and told could not use the top bunk because it's to hard for them to get up there and made the bed. I want my $30 back

The cabin was exactly as expected & very welcome as a respite from traveling. Bed was semi-comfortable, but that seems to be the case unless you spring for the deluxe accommodations.

This holiday park had a great playground and pool for the kids. It was easy to find. It is a nice and small park with a laundry facility and games room which we enjoyed using. The lawns are beatiful.

It was a great apartment/cabin on amazing location and near to myriad beautiful places and tourist attractions. We will ceratinly go back and stay over there when we get a chance. However, the tariff was a bit on the higher side; may be because of holiday period.

Great for the price

This was great for the price, out of town a little, but on the road, ready for the next stage of the trip. Food was a little issue as it was out of the main town - but not so hard. Good little older style Motel, that was clean and comfortable. Could have a little better bed. At the time was a HUGE storm - rain and wind so felt like a safe refuge.

Good location but bad value for money

Location was good, but the cabin was really old and I would rate it as average based on low value for money. The size of TV was too small and the wifi didn’t seem to work at all.

not What we expected

We were lead to believe we were staying in the motel part. I even questioned them about the motel room (2 bedrooms) when they rang to make sure there was only the two of us because they wld have to charge us for extra linen . When we got there we were given the key to a very tired old cabin. The hot plates didn’t work. Sorry won’t be back

Nice place to stay close to the beach , shops

Really enjoyed our stay in Warrnambool. We were close to the shops and the beach was only a short drive down the road. Great parks for the kids and we really enjoyed the paddle boats. The caravan park was beautiful and clean and our cabbin was nice and new with all that we needed.

Basic family accommodation

The motel accommodation was clean and basic. Single TV in lounge tiny with an added surcharge at every turn. Pool was locked, jumping pillow inoperable, games room had a few items which were dollar gobblers. Small play area for smaller children was serviceable. Windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. Wouldn't go back again, sorry.

Cozy room

Cozy room that is clean and comes with small kitchen, can sleep up to 6 people. Overall we are satisfied with our stay. The only downside is the air-con is very noisy.

Quite, comfortable stay

Denise and husband were very welcoming. Cabin was clean with plenty of crockery. Location is a little bit out from the city centre but in reality is only about five minutes by car. Quiet surrounds and did not hear any noise from the road.

Great Small Budget Cabin

We stayed in the Budget 6 Berth Ensuite Cabin. It was a great tiny cabin. Ideal for a couple who doesn't need much space.

Very small bathroom no where to hang clothes cramped. Booked double bed and one single to find out that they only put bedding on double bed ridiculous, No soap or extras. They said budget price and room $90 and yet another Motel at other location was cheaper $80 and they supplied clean bedding on all beds, soap shampoo and conditioner tea coffee and milk etc. I know where we will stay next time.

Friendly motel

The staff at The Wallaby were all friendly and eager to make my stay a good experience. My room was clean and had all the amenities I could need including an excellent iron and ironing board. Nice thick towels and great shower.

All facilities are good, but wifi is up and down (no signal half of the time).

Missing the little things

A last minuet trip. Great friendly staff. Facilities as good as you can expect from caravan park accommodation. The disappointment comes from the missing little things like, milk soap, shampoo and conditioner. They were out of milk but said wollies was just up the road.
