Incredible hotel with fantastic staff

W Hotel Costa Navarino

Had an amazing stay. Beautiful hotel, exceptional grounds, top of the line accommodations. The W is a superb hotel!

A Sophisticated Stay

A beautiful hotel in its second year of operation. Very attentive service with generous and tasty breakfast and good restaurant. Only comment would be the gym felt small for the size of hotel with no dedicated 'floor area' inside for mat based workouts but plenty of weights machines on offer. Part of the Navarino coast development, guests can access restaurants, golf courses, activities etc. also in associated hotels. The beach was lovely and the space did not feel crowded. Calm waters, as in a fairly protected bay. The towns of Gialova and Pylos offer more traditional Greek dining and plenty of upmarket and international cuisine restaurants in the nearby area through the Navarino network.

It is a nice facility but possibly over priced for the dining facilities and service levels. At the W I was known as ‘Room 160’ , the few times I went to the Mandarin I was known as Mr Evans. That is the difference.

Easy to navigate around the property

Beautifully designed property with courteous and service oriented staff. Room was nicely appointed but the shower kept flooding every time the overhead shower head was used. Had to use all our towels to mop up floor. Housekeeping informed and they stopped by but issue was never fixed. Dinner at Parelia restaurant was a complete disaster. Tough, fatty short ribs and rooster that tasted like cinnamon balls. I found the W and all the Costa Navarino properties lack the authentic Greek experience. If you are looking for fancy pools, overpriced everything and a pretentious feel, you’ve found the place.

Altogether, it was a nice short, vacation facilities restaurant in the nearby agora are amazing. One tiny thing to change is at breakfast morning hours, they shouldn't clean the nearby bar one it makes a lot of noise and too, all of the chemicals smells of the cleaning materials are rising up to the air and coming to the breakfast area

Somewhat surprised

The room was comfortable and cool as it was very hot during the summer. Sea shuttle to Ammouda beach was good. Need more staff at the beach bar at the beach as they looked very hot and tired Otherwise they were accommodating. Had a drink at the “mushroom bar” one night but had to send the drink back as glass was full of lipstick Breakfast is amazing but once again had dirty water glasses on the table and one had a little spider in it with a web. Needed to send those back to be replaced with clean glasses I feel I expected more from a 5 star hotel Staff all pleasant but some lacked a bit of experience

Excellent service and phenomenal location ,with an exceptional set up. Can’t ask for more. WOW wow wow. Congratulations to the team and ownership.

Maybe the best resort in Greece

The most amazing resort in Greece. Newer, endless facilities and amenities, the breakfast buffet was the best i have ever been to. Lots of pools, they provide the greatest plush beach towels. Very nice loungers. The beach is beautiful to relax on (sand seems like it was trucked in, as its different at the water line, not as nice in the water. The small village of Gialova is so perfect, it seems like it was made for a movie and every detail was thought out. The Agora is also amazing, wonderful restaurants and shops. Absolutely amazing, nothing bad you can say about this resort. Large, beautiful, clean, best service, attentive friendly staff, lots to do, great location close to some amazing things to do.

Excellent beach and pool!

A great week at a great new(ish) resort! We loved popping into Gialova for dinner most nights and the hotel concierge happily arranged reservations and a taxi. Just 10 euros each way if you don’t want to walk. Highly recommend Anama, Elia and Kochili Fish in particular. Overall very good service and lovely friendly staff with a few very minor exceptions. A few small teaks could make this even better. More wait staff able to take orders at breakfast and pool, more local affordable shops including a pharmacy, slightly lower price point for pool side drinks and food and watersports. Spa massages were excellent!

An amazing resort

This is a truly amazing resort. I loved the amazing views, mind-bending sunsets, enormously huge beachfront, endless pools and all surrounded by sort of quiet luxury. I’d give a piece of constructive feedback though. In my opinion the food at the restaurants is a bit overpriced. I mean I do get it’s a 5 star resort and that comes at a certain price-tag, but one would expect a more gourmet taste, and some of it did have it, but things like a Greek or Caesar salad that’s no different than any other tavern, but 3x more expensive, was just a bit disappointing to me. I’d just expect more gourmet taste, presentation and ingredients. Despite that, overall experience was 5/5, service, attitude and care were truly outstanding.

Great sunset, so many things to do!!

An amazing luxurious property in the Peloponnese with all amenities. Pure bliss and the breakfast is unreal.

This was a spectacular location for a holiday in Greece.

The resort was gorgeous and everything was fine. However, I would recommend that the property in the Costa Navarino agora open up a pharmacy for common things such as aspirin and allergy medication. The store that was supposed to be the pharmacy on the property didn’t carry any such things. Also, the W Costa Navarino should consider open up a few more fine dining options on its grounds along with a in-room dining menu with more variety.

The hotel is amazing in every aspect other than for service which is almost inexistent.

Great place

W Costa Navarino hotel is a new gem in the area. I really liked the property and I have a really good and relaxing experience overall. Let me highlight few things: - Swim up room was just amazing. The decoration and all the amenities were so luxury and premium. Loved that part. High quality in all the materials, great work. - The main restaurant of the hotel “Parelia” serves really delicious food. We enjoyed our night there and the service was fast and good. - The main pool area is so beautiful and I like the vibes of the hotel as they have Dj during the day and beach events in the night. - Reception was so kind and helpful - Breakfast variety and quality is really good. Something that I found basic for hotel’s standards is the food menu in pool area. We tried different things but did not like the quality. Also, I faced a delay on the order. Hope this to be improved and be aligned with whole high standards. Lastly, although an unlucky moment in the breakfast where we had to wait some time to be seated, management showed high professionalism and made really good gestures so that we can enjoy our stay even more.

Beautiful hotel, great location near 2 villages - great food and service

First class luxury all the way. Staff very attentive and professional. Rooms well maintained, beds were very comfortable. Only downside is the evening dining options are very expensive for what you get. For example, a soup in the upper floor bar/lounge was 30 euro. But the good thing is that a very short drive away (less than 5 mins) is the small town where several options for excellent dining including Italian (they were fully booked on a Saturday in May, so make a reservation); family run Notre Maison (excellent wine list, the son is the chef, the daughter works the front of the house; and the father very knowledgeable about wines and very interesting to talk to); as well as Deroko Casual Fine Dining (great food, owner very involved which is always a positive sign leading to great service, helpful recommendations, and a memorable evening). So, yes, I would recommend staying at the W Costa Navarino, but encourage you to explore outstanding food options nearby.

Ισως χρειάζεται να υπάρξουν περισσότερες επιλογές εστιατορίων. Η γύρω περιοχή αξίζει για εκδρομές και επισκέψεις αρχαιολογικών χώρων. Θα ξαναπάω σίγουρα!

The view of the beach. The pools. The gym. The sunsets! Unplug yourself. This place is a must if you need to purge everyday living and stresses. Food is immaculate for dinner. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the best places I have stayed at: from someone who has been all over the world. Great value for the bliss you acquire.

An amazing new hotel. The check in was easy. We didn’t even have to take our luggage out of the car, everything was done for us so we could relax from the minute we arrived. You are escorted from your car straight to fresh towels and a welcome drink. You have the time to unwind before checking in. Check in was easy and I absolutely appreciated the upgrade to a fabulous room with direct pool access. Our first night coincided with the first event of the hotel. We did have an issue regarding dinner reservations, which did dampen our first impression. Going to bed without dinner was not what we would have expected in such a hotel. Day two of four we decided not to let that spoil the rest of our holiday. We did receive an apology for the situation and a free dessert that evening, which didn’t really suffice but it was an acknowledgement of what had happened. The remainder of our stay was relaxing. I do think the food is a little over priced but that is expected in an expensive hotel. I understand the hotel had only been open for three weeks, so I was expecting teething problems, which other than our first night, it was trouble free. The staff are amazing and couldn’t be more attentive and professional. Overall the hotel has a great relaxed vibe. It’s a huge property that gives you space and privacy if that’s what you prefer. I totally recommend and wouod stay again.

Beautiful setting beach front , nice pools lots of lounge chairs , nice towels. Room very nice , don’t like the see through shower . Did not like the music thumping all day and night at the pool. I love listing to good music but this was just repetitive thumping,Breakfast is jus to spread out into four different buildings, lots of serving staff tuning into each other very disorganized . You have to order coffee from them and then go gather your food. The server bought me a cold cappuccino and I ordered a hot one, he really seemed perturbed that I didn’t take , so he said he would bring me a hot one, my husband asked him to br him a

W Costa Navarino is a unique and stylish retreat nestled in an amazing environment. The hotel's sleek design and stunning location make it a perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. While the overall experience was positive, there are several areas where the hotel could improve to truly excel: - Check-in process: The long waiting time before check-in was frustrating. A more streamlined process would greatly enhance the arrival experience. - Welcome drink: Offering orange juice as a welcome drink felt underwhelming for a luxury property. A more creative or local option would be appreciated. - Pool area: The presence of dogs at the pool was unexpected and not to everyone's liking. Clearer policies or designated areas might be beneficial. - Dining experience: Breakfast was basic and fell short of expectations for a hotel of this caliber. The dinner also failed to wow. More diverse and high-quality dining options would be a significant improvement. - Service: Long wait times for waiters were a consistent issue. Additionally, the lack of information about the egg menu and perceived different treatment of guests was disappointing. - Music and entertainment: The pool area suffered from poor sound quality and low volume. Conversely, the cocktail festival had excessively loud music that was uncomfortable for guests. A balance needs to be struck. - Guest transportation: The use of golf carts to transport certain guests through crowded areas during events felt unsafe.

The hotel is amazing in every aspect other than for service which is at a very moderate level for a 5* resort. Service should and could be much better. Breakfast is wonderful. Great swimming pools and lovely beach. A minor remark is that the lounge music at poolarea and beach is monotone and way too loud.
