The food

Overall, this was a great place to stay. It's very close to the airport and they were kind enough to pick me up. Food and staff was great. Will come back soon.

Nice n near the airport

I have been there on several occasions, The staff at Visa Lodge are all great. Great customer service and professional.

Now they take the security of the property very serious that was my concern on December 2022 and January 2023. Thank you so much , I recommend that place 5 stars .

I am a guest of the hotel I buy a dish of food I have not paid yet but I have to spend 4 days at the hotel barely 2 days. at 12 am an employee just knocked on my door to tell me that I haven't paid yet what ignorance except I'm still at the hotel for me it was a disappointment on my part... and in the end we took too much garlic in food....

I always stay at this property while in Haiti

I enjoy my stay , nice place to stay. The only thing was the loud music playing at the pool and food order was not as expected. Very little food when order, I will suggest people to order out not worth the money.

Worst way to treat customers

So I stay in Room 35 at 95 degrees outside my AC stop working I went to them they sent someone to take a look he couldn’t fix it I went again they sent the same guy still can’t fix it and just left without saying anything I went again and told them this is it I can’t take it that’s when they told me they don’t have any room available to moved me they will give me a fan like are you insane with 95 degree outside what fan gonna do for me and I can’t sleep with fan it make me sick I check online I saw they still have 2 room available for the same day but $40 more then what I paid for my night they rather give me my money back then to put me in one of those room available

I usually enjoy staying there but this weekend there were loud music playing from early during the day until late at night for both Saturday and Sunday. It was very unpleasant. I needed to rest but unfortunately that could not happen. I called the reception and complained but nothing was done. I was really disappointed!

I found a roaches in the suite that I was. There was not water in bathroom in the morning I cannot take shower. Foods are expensive. They made me pay fpr a suite that was a true scam.

The property was not a 3 stars hotel. They don't provide any small towels, shampoo and conditioner.

Casitas rooms are nicer

The experience at Visa Lodge is always great. This time, however, I was assigned an old room. It looks like there are three of those. That was all the unpleasantness. The room was not in one of the casitas.

My stay was outstanding. Nice Haitian food and impeccable hospitality from start to finish.

This property was limited in its resources. With the exception of the pool, there was no fitness center. Moreover, the food was very expensive and not so appealing.

The property is ideal with respect to safety, amenities, and proximity to the airport. What I had read and found out to be true is that much of the staff, not all though, have a snarky attitude. Even when you smile and say thank you... they appear to be uninterested or burden by your presence at the hotel. This can create an unneeded or unwarranted level of discomfort or tension. I reccomend that management help the coach the staff around this hospitality component as it hinders this establishment from truly being a place of wonder.

The staff is very friendly and nice, especially the dining staff. Love the outdoor restaurant. Feels very safe during Covid.

My Haitian Place

My go to in PAP. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Food is good. Plenty of security. Grounds keeper also sells trinkets & keepsakes. Much better price than street or airport.

Visa Lodge:A Home Away From Home.

I have not been home for a while so the experience of visa lodge was welcomed.The staff was great helpful.They went the extra mile to make sure that the guests are comfortable.The hotel setting is perfect.It’s also well located being that close to the airport. I will recommend it to anyone visiting Haiti. Next time I will take advantage of the pool.

I always like staying here, friendly staff. My flight got delayed and they were able to push my reservation back for me. Very good breakfast.

What I like was the warm water in the bathroom. What I didn't like: The food was nothing to write home about. The room, the bathroom were crusty with dirt. TheTV did not work. Even if it did, the electrical outlet where it was plugged in did not have any current. Also, there was no remote control to work it. Customer service was -0. It was non exsistant. The employees seemed like they didn't want to be there.

Closeness to the Airport

Everything was terrible. The room was dirty. Nothing works the bathroom did not working, can not flush, all night we have bedbugs all over the place even in a suite onder the coach we found al lot of bedbugs. It was disgusting everything. The people for the room service touching my staff no gloves, no masks, the Bathroom was Full of molds. TV never works. We cancel our stay there we did only 3 nights. I will never, never go there any more and will never recomend it to anyone. They are disgusting. Sorry for my language. Never again

My favorite place to stay in PAP

Staff is very friendly. Check in was easy. The morning breakfast buffet is nice. Not overly fancy but a good breakfast. I did not eat the lunch buffet. At dinner there is a nice menu to choose from. I had curry lamb, spaghetti carbonara, poulet pays, and my usual hamburger on last night. All very good and flavorful. The wait staff is very good. The room was cleaned daily by sweeping the tile and cleaning the bathroom. The bed was made and fresh towels. I was surprised there is an in room fridge. The TV gets HBO, a French sports channel and a couple Haitian channels. It’s very quiet location. There is a nice pool area. Places to sit outside and work. WiFi worked 90% of the time. And I was able to get a Covid test for travel on site for a reasonable fee.

I always stay at visa lodge since I was a child and it is convenient to the airport and my family business. The staff is great. When I got there this time they give me a different room because they were booked as the receptionist spoke with the manager they upgraded me to a better room. Other then some technical difficulties due to the nature of the country overall it was a great stay. No complaints
