Lovely place on Samet

Really lovely stay here. Room was perfect with nice balcony overlooking the sea. The resort is well maintained with a cute pool and bar area. Restaurant was great although the breakfast was just okay nothing special.

Could be more tidy

Resort location is about 25mins away from the public pier, not convenient but it is quite and relaxing place. Rooms are quite tidy and clean. Overall I am satisfied except for the water pressure is not stable and no hot water for shower.

Great Choice on Koh Samet

Resort lived up to expectations. Fabulous spot, lovely staff, food was very decent. Would definitely return.

Samet’s best, most scenic location/architecture!

Extra special location on a point between beaches, with 2 completely different weather patterns on each side. One side can be calm and warm; while the other might be cool, windy and wavy. The amazing pool site has views out both sides of the point. So spectacular you might spend way more time hanging out by the pool than you planned for. I’m a repeat guest because of the location, great new pool location and beautiful Thai buildings. It was starting to get run down a bit, but fresh repainting and other new maintenance work is making it nicer and nicer. Really a special feeling staying here! Before, the breakfast was poor, with broken and chipped dishes- but now, it’s much improved and everything is nicer! Samet’s BEST breakfast setting under the shade of the trees at the water’s edge!! Virtually all the bungalows have ocean views. Either side of the point is nice but the north facing bungalows practically over the water really really make you appreciate that “being in on island” feeling. It’s a bit inconvenient to walk to, but worth it!! I think the restaurant is over-priced for the quality, but great location on the water’s edge with views back towards the beach. With the continuing improvements, you’ll love staying here.

It was the worst experience in our Life, the hotel and rooms were completely plagued of cockroaches, when we said to the Staff that we had a lot in our Room, In fact one fekt on my face they just laugh and gave us a poison to put by our self in the Room.

Very relaxing stay at Vimarn. Bungalows with sea view were lovely. Perfect position between two beaches on a quieter part of the island. Swimming pool a plus.

Prime location for a great hotel

Amazing hidden gem. We have been to Samet several times over the last 13 years and know to expect the things that come with being on a tropical island (bugs, sand etc). The room was clean ( dated) and serviced daily. The view from all units appear great. We were in family suite 4 which had perfect views every day. Staff is friendly. Breakfast does the job. Coffee was not that great, but still ok. 10/10 will be coming back. Dinner at the restaurant is perfection. Great food while eating right over top of the water. This part of Koh Samet is windy which is great as it keeps the temperature down and the sweat to a minimum. All rooms are a quick walk to the pool or beach.

Best geographic location on Samet. Must try once!

I’ve stayed several times... it’s an amazing location made even better by moving the swimming pool to the end of the peninsula for amazing views in every direction. Repainting the bungalows has halved. Breakfast isn’t great, but an improvement from last year. This is a special place... in some ways a bit rustic, but really... the pool is in a privileged location. You are between 2 beaches. Restaurant location great.... looking back across the beach. Another great thing is the rare snorkeling just near the point. Rare for snorkelers on this island. Worth it!

One of a kind, best location: incredible pool.

Geographically, the best place to experience on Koh Samet. Best pool location imaginable. It sits out on a narrow peninsula, with bungalows facing out towards two opposite views. On some days, south facing bungalows receive the prevailing winds. Surprisingly good snorkeling off the rocks on calm days in the right tides. I’ve stayed here before, several times. Restaurant sits in spectacular position at the end of the beach, looking back across the beach. Awe inspiring really. Bed was the worst we slept in on our trip, but not so bad as to not recommend this unique group of bungalows with gorgeous Thai architecture! If you enjoy photos and selfies, THIS IS THE #1 spot on the island!!! The bungalows have recently been painted and repaired (last time here, there were leaks and more things needed attention. Breakfast used to be the worst on the island, but they’re improving that too. Breakfast still can’t compare to other resorts, but the new, incredible pool location makes up for any imperfections. It’s quiet, alone on its peninsula... but 2 minutes walk from the busy beach activities of the other side-by-side bungalows on the main beach. Downsides are the awkward walk to access. And poor bed, and improving food and no low budget menu items... but still.... EVERYONE should try this place once!!! If they make a few changes, it will be THE place to stay on Samet!!!

it was o.k.

Hotel is in a lovely location on a headland, beach is gorgeous as is the island. Lots of low key beach bars and dining very close. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and while it could be very stylish, it has got more in need of some tlc each year- balconies need attention; doors need sealing and it all needs a coat of paint and a bit of care. The staff are indifferent and the breakfast is truly grim- come on Vimarn, you can do better than this with a bit of effort!

Sea view resort

It’s near the beach, inaccessible to road. If you get 1 near the road, it won’t be near the beach else it will be expensive. With this price, sea view , it’s worth! Saw people snorkelling in front of the hotel, bring your own gears if you have. Breakfast is ok, simple. Having breakfast with magnificent sea view is relaxing! Recommend to rent bike from the pier, 300-400baht so you could ride in about 15min and back when going home. Else taxi is about 200-250baht to get to this hotel plus 3 min walk in or cut through Tom Pizza and walk through the beach. What disappoints me is that I have to TOP up extra for late check out.

Over priced!!

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is it has a beautiful view. The rooms is over priced and its limited to resources and comfort. The staff think they do you a favour when ask for assistance or even a drink at the limited bar. If I knew what I knew now I would spend extra and go live at the resort next door. Disappointing but so we learn. And can some one just go clean up around the hotel its a beautiful island lool after it!!

Great location. nice view.

Great location. nice view. one morning breakfast has Thai dish - fried minced pork with pepper which is very delicious. Though it only has 27 rooms, there is a Chinese tourist group every day - different group. The neighbor restaurant turn on very noise music till around 2am.

When we check out, they charge me extra 200bath for clean room. I can not believe that. Crazy hotel

En perle på Koh Samet

Det er andre gang vi besøker Vimarnsamed, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Lekkert resort som ligger for seg selv. God mat og drikke serveres her. Personalet her er vennlig og vi ble kjent igjen av dem som var her da vi har her sist. Eneste å usette, er at de unge i service står og sitter med fjeset i mobilen ved første mulighet. Det gjør at deres oppmerksomhet til gjestene forsvinner. Kanskje sistnevnte er et gjennomgående problem med unge i 2025?

Väldigt härlig vistelse. Lugnt, skönt, rent och bra service!

Picture showed a room with a window, but there was none. Bed was uncomfortable, and the area was messy. The view from the pool was stunning, and it was close to a public beach. Restaurant was okay, better than others we visited.

Lugn och fin resort

En mysig och lugn resort med pool. Personal är trevligare och hjälpsamma. och Resort ligger i ett lugnt område där får man koppla av utan att bli störa så mycket. Dock en liten bit från centrum/ huvuds ö som tar ca 10-15 min med moped/bil dit. Men det finns mini-Market och några restauranger i närheten som är bra. Överlag är bra!

洗手間的花灑比較弱希望可以改善， 這個是唯一缺點其他地方非常滿意尤其是服務環境食物質素都非常之好

Uanset hvor kort tid vi var ude, nåede de altid at gøre værelset rent. Al personale var meget venligt og imødekommende. Og fantastisk udsigt!

Fint ophold, stort værelse. Maden var ok Desværre ingen liggestole på hotellet og kan være svært at finde skygge

Un lieu magique et reposant

Un endroit magnifique situé sur une pointe s'avançant dans l'océan en bout de baie ; les cabanes se fondent dans la géographie du lieu et forment un ensemble harmonieux. Les arbres sont illuminés la nuit et composent un décor enchanteur. Lieu idéal pour admirer le lever du soleil. Pas de moustiques à Vimarn Resort en janvier 2024 ce qui n'est pas le cas partout sur Wong Duean baie. Service attentionné et très aimable. Accès possible à la plage du voisin, Samed Cabana.

Bei Flut Fußmarsch durchs Wasser vom Steg zum Hotel - mit Gepäck. Kein Rollerverleih in der unmittelbaren Nähe, Frühstück in Ordnung, Abendessen: Knopel im Fleisch. Schwierige Parkmöglichkeit für Roller.

Fantastiskt läge med lugn.

Fantasistisk enskilt läge nära en fantastisk och lugn strand. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mycket prisvärt ställe om man gillar lugnet.

God mat, fint läge och trevlig personal

Fint ”hus”, V2. Rent och fräscht om än lite slitna detaljer. Fin utsikt och perfekt kvällssol. Stenhård säng. Jättegod mat!

Superior room

Superior room. A small window makes the room feel pretty closed. Mould in the shower roof, and overall old feeling. Guess the sea view bungalows are the ones you should get, not a villa room. Breakfast not more than OK.

バンガローもビラも良かった

サメット島でこちらのホテルで二泊しました。一泊目はバンガロータイプ。そして二泊目はビラタイプ。どちらの部屋からも海が見えて景色は最高です。自然が豊かですので虫や爬虫類が出てきますがそれでもリゾート感たっぷりです。

三日間の滞在でしたが　 綺麗な海に青い空。 とてものんびりとした時間を過ごすことが出来ました。 ホテルのスタッフに感謝しています。

Sijainti ja näköala huipussa, mutta hotelli/huoneet kaipaavat ehostusta.

sehr schöner Ort für 3-5 Tage. Entspricht den Erwartungen. Service, Frühstücksbuffet, Sauberkeit; alles tiptop. Zum Meer hinunter sollte eine kleine Treppe angebracht werden. Sonst gibts wirklich nichts zu bemängeln.

Déjeuner répétitif mais surtout lit très dur, mais c'est une question de goût personnel. La situation et le personnel, super.
