We were looked after very well, the rooms were lovely, we were given excellent advice and help whenever we needed.

Really helpful staff — nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast brought to our room every day. Thanks to Veronica and staff for an enjoyable stay!

A beautiful, stylish, small hotel on the 3rd floor of a lovely old building, with the ambiance of a private residence. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and our room (Livingstone) was spacious, elegant and very comfortable. A delightful place, and very highly recommended.

An amazing place to stay in Firenze! Beautiful, luxuriously comfortable room and delicious breakfast. It felt like we were staying with friends as everyone was so lovely and super helpful - they really went above and beyond! Plus: * Veronica is a great & friendly host with great hints & tips on where to go in Florence * Rooms are beautiful in the jungle theme, all top level 'equipment' * Location is 10-15 mins walk from the historic centre > excellent * Breakfast brought to your room on a trolley is a delight Minus: * A small minus is the aircon not working in winter.....systems set on 25ºC minimum. We opened the windows instead because November was warm....

Loved it

We absolutely loved staying here. There were all these details both in the room, reception and to us spesifically as guests that were so thoughtful. Everybody working there were so helpful and generous. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. We whole heartadly recommend this place!

Delightful Designer Luxury!

I make a point of staying at small boutique hotels, and Velona's is a fantastical example of why. The decor is worthy of the finest designer showcase house, and my room (the "Darwin") could have been decorated by Gianni Versace. Luxurious bathroom, specialty local organic bath products, elegant salon, etc etc. People greeting me and serving me breakfast could not be nicer or more welcoming. I cannot say enough about this intimate little hideaway in Florence.

Fantastic service

Veronica was extremely happy to help with anything we needed and consistently went above and beyond our expectations when we had questions about restaurants, museums, tours, etc. Stay also includes a generous breakfast, with tasty vegan croissants baked fresh daily.

If you're trying to decide whether or not to book Velona's, you're wasting your time. Book it. You'll love it. It's in a charming corner of Florence but far enough off the main drag that it doesn't feel overwhelming. Easy to get anywhere but a lovely place to wander around if you don't want to go far. Veronica, the owner, couldn't be nicer. The room was great. The ambiance of the property was tremendous. Book now and don't look back! :)

Loved it and book to stay here!

We absolutely loved our time at Velona’s, the place is beautiful, immaculate and Veronica is very welcoming. The suites are a 5-10 min walk to the river, so not as central as some accommodation as Florence is pretty small. But, well worth the extra 10 minute walk for this boutique B&B. Veronica is a local and have us loads of brilliant advice on where to eat and drink at a variety of prices. 100% recommend and would love to come back again!

Without question the best stay we have ever had... Anywhere!!! We are fortunate enough to stay in countless 5 star hotels across the globe. Thoroughly enjoying our stay without ever really feeling the urge to leave a review until now. Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites is hands down the best hospitality experience we have had the privilege to behold. It is well situated only a short walk (5-10mins) to see all the city sights. And it's a pleasant walk too along the river. The Breakfast was perfect. Freshly prepared juice, fruit, pastries as well as cooked options made to order. There are a small number of rooms making the stay that much more intimate. The decor is lavish and bold yet comfortable and relaxed. Everything is done without compromise and to the highest standard. And finally the best part of Velona's Jungle... Veronica (she is the owner). Never has anyone cared so emphatically that your stay is the best it possibly could be. Everything has that personal touch and it really makes all the difference. She will politely email you before your stay. She will greet you as you arrive. She will help you with your bags. She will show you to your room. She is keen to help you to see the best of the city, advising where to visit. She will arrange dinner reservations. She will serve you breakfast in the morning. And she, if for nothing else, is the reason you should stay there. Also anyone wanting to learn how hospitality should be done. Here is your 'grandmaster' Faultless

Wow, what a wonderful stay! From the stylish decor, comfy beds & superb showers, to the super-friendly Florentine owners, we loved every minute of our time at Velona's luxury jungle suites. Veronica and all the staff had some great recommendations and suggestions for delicious restaurants and fabulous cafes too. Florence is a beautiful city, and staying at Velona's luxury jungle suites made it even more fantastico!

Great stay

Beautiful room, and great service. Breakfast is served fresh when you’re ready. 10-15 min walk into the centre of Florence. Tram to the train station is right out front, but we found the walk just as easy. Nice change from busy hotels and breakfast buffets.
