The property is well maintained and overall clean and tidy. The beach is a private section of beach, shared with a few other hotels, which is also nice however the sand is pretty rough on the the feet (nothing the Hotel can do about that). The staff are very polite and accommodating, big shout out to Max & Zidan from the beach bar/ Panali restaurant; extremely friendly and very helpful! The room, which we had was a Premium Ocean Pool Suite (room 222), was very well maintained and looked after with a beautiful view of the Ocean, albeit it there was another row of suites in front but not obstructing the view. All in all it was a very nice hotel and one that I would visit again should I return to Koh Samui.

We had very relaxing, peaceful vacation there. November weather in Samui wasn’t the best, but ocean view and great food made it up. Our room butler, Pumm, was the best! We thank her for the “Exceptional service”.

This place is EXCELLENT! Food is top notch. Rooms are beautiful. Service is amazing. The beach is very good and free of garbage like at other places. If you want to be near nightlife this isn’t the place for you. There isn’t much near the resort at all. But if you’re looking for a romantic getaway it’s the best

This resort is wonderful! The food is absolutely fabulous. We were there for four nights in off-season and it was quiet and romantic. This is not a party type place-at least when we were there. The staff is so warm and friendly and always smile. They had a party by the pool with great snacks and free drinks and very comfortable atmosphere. I would come back here. There's not much around the resort in terms of shopping or anything so if you want to be in the middle of the action this is not the right place. But if you want a romantic getaway without booming Eurobeats this is it

We had an amazing stay at Vana Belle, the staff were super friendly and helpful and tended to our every need. The resort itself is in a great location right on the beach and the food at Panali was fantastic. Spa was also great and the gym was very well equipped too. We will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing place with the best most friendly staff I have come across. Just sad I only had 3 days. The rooms plunge pool is the best way to start the day. Also close enough to the bars etc.

Amazing Hotel & Staff

We had a great experience! The hospitality and customer service was one of the best we have experienced. The resort was nice and the activities and amenities were an added bonus. Our butler Pei Pei was amazing, attentive to our needs and always available when needed. She went above and beyond.

Heaven on earth

Vana Belle exceeded our expectations! My husband and I stayed at Vana Belle for our honeymoon and it was like heaven on earth. We were upgraded to a honeymoon suite and our room was stunning! Our butler Pum was always so helpful and friendly. One night she surprised us with a bubble bath and champagne. I was so blown away with this thoughtful gesture! On Valentine's day the resort offered a special dinner on the beach which was an unforgettable experience! Furthermore, the food at the resort was always delicious. We especially loved breakfast. The pool and beach area was beautiful and well kept. The staff was always so attentive and friendly. Their attention to detail is so impressive! My time at Vana Belle was the best experience of my life. It was true paradise!

Vana Belle was a beautiful experience. The rooms and amenities were excellent. The location was just perfect as it was nice and quiet by the beach but close enough to go to Chaweng beach for restaurants and bars. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Patrick during our check in, Mei during our stay, Kit during our breakfast and Golf during our time at poolside. Overall we were very happy with the hotel. The level of service and quality of the room, food and amenities was accumulate. Also not forgetting all the other staff including the buggy rides from the room to the beach. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. This place is a must when visiting Koh Samui. Extremely happy!!!

A great vacation

A great vacation, amazing stuff need to have more activities for children though.

The moment you arrive the staff are wonderful and attentive. The resort it self is only about 5 years old so all facilities are in excellent condition. We received an upgrade in room which is always nice to receive. The food in both restaurants is excellent, the Italian maybe a little expensive but worth it. The resort is Very well kept and all staff were excellent and very friendly, nothing too much. Highly recommend!

A little imperfection

Overall the stay was comfortable. The staff was polite and professional. There was some hiccup with our reservation where we were learned that we were given a lower category room. Thought the first solution was unacceptable later staff sorted them out and offered service recovery. This actually left a tad bit sour on our experience after to what we have paid for the room.

Loved the quality of the Rooms . Hated quality of food and it’s pricing . Room service menu is at 150 percent price compared to Resteraunt . No consistency of food quality too .

Underwhelmed

For a luxury marriott hotel, I thought the property could have been better. The food was not great, limited options, expensive and not very good. The service was also only mediocre. I also thought that the conditions of the rooms needed some upkeep. For the price I would have upgraded and stayed at the ritz.

Tranquil and simply wonderful

Fantastic service - all staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Large rooms with private pools and a vast range of amenities. Very generous breakfast buffet and treats throughout the day. Great buggy service. Lovely beach and modern pool. The only thing I could potentially criticise is that I would have expected the rates to be slightly lower in light of the many available rooms (low season) - having said that, we had an absolutely fantastic time. Thank you to you all at Vana Belle!

Great hotel

We stayed for 4 nights and the whole experience was wonderful , from check-in to check-out. The staff were excellent & the facilities were above par. The restaurants were over priced (even for a hotel of this calibre & especially considering the price paid for the stay) & would be something for the management to look at. A blemish on an otherwise complete Special thanks to out personal services person,Tent & the staff of the poolside & Thai Restaurant. We will be back for sure.

Outstanding Hotel

Beautiful hotel with great staff, very reminiscent of the Datai in Langkowi (but without the wildlife). The beach is semi-private because it is on Chaweng Noi, which is cut off from the main Chaweng beachfront, and the hotel stands out when compared to the competition in the area. It is close enough to the main town to be easily accessible but far enough away to avoid the noise. Lovely experience all round.

Beautiful hotel and great location I highly recommend this hotel

First the good news: Lovely property (5-6 years old), but well maintained with lush, well-manicured gardens and trails or buggy service all-around resort. The beach here is absolutely superb. Smooth, fine sand and gentle waters. THE BEST beach I have enjoyed in some time. Lovely SPA where I had a very good massage with Dao. Breakfast service is very nice, both buffet and ala carte of high quality and cheerful staff. Complimentary tea time is nice. Very nice pool and pool staff. Less than perfect: skip the pool snacks as they are over priced and not so good, soggy french fries, wimpy sandwiches, etc. Very disappointing Italian restaurant on the beach overpriced for quality. At these prices you must have an Italian chef! Need a few moderately priced Chef's specials and bottles of wine on offer. Left resort for dinner next three nights. Did not try the Thai restaurant as it is in same spot as breakfast and that becomes a bit boring after 4 days. One big tip to savvy housekeeping directors everywhere...TURN THE MATTRESS PERIODICALLY. While the linens and pillow menu were excellent, our mattress suffered from dreadfully sagging middle due to never being rotated. Flip those mattress and your guests will ave a better sleep and no backache in the morning. After all, attention to such details is what LUXURY is about, especially if it is called out in your name! Overall, nice property, excellent beach and cheerful staff. Thanks to Kelley for warm welcome and departure.

Friendly staff, attentive and thoughtful services

I was impressed by the friendly staff and felt that they are happy to do extra things/ tell you extra info to make your stay happier and easier. For example, the staff member who helped me with check-in used his personal mobile phone to call my local Thailand mobile number because I had some trouble setting up the local mobile number. Also on the last day of my stay, I went to the beach to swim after I checked out and they were kind enough to let me use the shower room at the spa to refresh myself.

Great location and fantastic

I spent three nights at Vana Belle and Koh Samui and wehad a wonderful time. The staff are very friendly and helpful and attentative. The hotel that I did use were great although I did not had a chance to try the gym or the spa due to the short stay with a packed schedule. Breakfast is great with good range of food from the all you can eat a la carte menu and a good variety of fruit, juices, bakery and pastry to choose from. I did swim both in the pool and on the beach every morning and the water is fantastic. And this is from a person who lives next to one of the best beaches in Sydney. I did also watch the sunrise every morning which is highly recommended. All and all, a great hotel, with friendly and attentively staff, I would definitely to everyone and would love to go back there again.

Amazing Place! I can’t rave enough about the staff and the quality of service they provide. Everyday we spend there was magical. The spa was amazing- we booked massages daily during our stay. The internet was slow one day and they provided a pocket wifi to accommodate. Great overall!!!!

Looks like the best sea view pool villa in Chaweng

Better to choose Koh Samui over Phangan.. and this hotel does the job and some more! They have perfect services and they are helpful! You feel welcomed :) recommended for couples

Simply spectacular!

We live in Bangkok and have been to Koh Samui many, many times. Vana Belle was absolutely the finest hotel we've ever stayed in. The room, the location, the facilities and especially the customer service were simply spectacular! I want to specifically recognize Song for her incredible attention to detail and fantastic customer service. She ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely stay at Vana Belle the next time we travel to Samui.

Great Hotel and service

Very warm welcome at check in. Friendly and attentive staff everywhere, very nice! Tropical pool villa (#1007) is a great room to stay. Very close to the beach, nice view and privacy about the plants around. Breakfast is great. We definitely can recommend this resort, we had an awesome stay. Btw, a special thank to Mr Rick.

Close to most attractions, but off the busy center. Very nice hotel with excellent facilities, especially like the pool in the room which can go for a morning swim right off the bed! Great breakfast selections! Kitchen can make most things even off menu

Superb

Vans Belle was special . Plan ahead to get a good rate otherwise I think at short notice prices are to expensive compared to any other options. Service from staff was fantastic and food was very good . If you can get breakfast included definitely worthwhile as awesome buffet and alacarte menu available along with champagne and Bloody Mary's . Beach was lovely out the front and restaurants sound . Thought the beach front villa was great value . Great for family as well

Great resort - great beach

We had a standard room and were extremely happy with the size and comfort. Having your own private plunge pool was a great addition. The resort was extremely quiet during our stay which was surprising given the great beach location. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, although service in the restaurants could be better. The main restaurant which specialises in Thai food was great, however the Italian restaurant meals were a bit lacklustre. The day spa experiences were wonderful and I would highly recommend this to guests.

Relaxation in Paradise

Beautiful hotel with all the facilities you could ask for. Food was excellent with a great choice at breakfast and a choice of two restaurants for dinner. There is even 24hr room service with food and drinks available, Upgrade to a deluxe room with an ocean view if you can - worth it :-) The airline changed our departure flight unexpectedly meaning we would lose our final day. The concierge was so helpful and spoke with the airline for us and got us on a much more suitable flight. Thanks to him we could relax and enjoy our final day at the Vana Belle :-) outstanding service!

Beautiful Elegant Hotel on the beach

We were very happy with our experience at the Vana Belle as it offered us exactly what we needed: rest in relaxing (and luxurious) atmosphere after crossing the ocean. The hotel has a very elegant architecture, very understated, as I would expect in such a country as Thailand (and this is not the case in general). We were a little disappointed by the service which should have been more consistent. They offered everything the first day - ice in the room, change of pool towels, recipes for cocktails, water on you night table, etc. - and then it went down (a little less everyday). We would like to get an explanation on this one. It is luxury or it is not.

Amazing hotel but had food issues

This is a great hotel and I can recommend it highly. We had a number of issues during our stay, and the staff were fantastic in the way they looked after us. Some restaurant staff did not know what 'dairy free' means even after we told them we could not have milk, butter, cream or cheese - we were still served dairy and my daughter was sick as a result. We spoke to one of the managers about it - Sanny and Tiger were great in the way they dealt with it and they got us the information we needed about ingredients in their food. They developed a gluten free menu for us in both restaurants as well. On an unrelated issue, my wife required 4 trips to the hospital (very close) for an allergic reaction. The staff gave us an amazing level of care in making sure my wife got to the hospital and checking up on her condition afterwards. Overall the staff were very caring and attentive and did everything they could to look after us. It's a beautiful resort, the facilities are amazing and the location and view is spectacular. The breakfast buffet is pretty awesome too - highly recommended.

great stay in vana belle

Stayed 5 nights relaxing with daily spa massages & felt totally relaxed. Pros: Housekeeping & service staff are helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet with champagne & oyster spread. High tea was interesting & we had an excellent villa facing the sea & beach with view of sunrise & sand from our bed. Sara the masseuse was very good with swedish massages etc. Cons : Food at the italian restaurant was ordinary, Head massage at spa not recommended. This place is for total relaxation. We stayed in the hotel daily venturing out on 2 nights only for dinner.

Not up to expectation

Stayed four nights in late April. It has a nice luxurious setting. I checked in a ground floor room but got waken up by the noise of hotel renovation. After complaint, the manager changed me to a top floor room which has a better sea view but quite some stairs to climb. Beach is OK but not exactly white sandy. Sea water is average clear. Considering you are in Thailand, great Thai food is expected. But unfortunately thai restaurant doesn't deliver top tasty Thai cuisine. Service in general is good. But some staffs only offer good service at the cost of tips. Room is comfortable. At a little cost, hotel can arrange a transfer to the downtown shopping mall and restaurant in other hotel.

Truly amazing! A bucket list experience!

We stayed in a seafront villa with superb views, staff very attentive and incredibly polite.. Location is perfect for venturing out, even if just a stroll along the beach to check out beachfront bars. Food delicious!! First time both my partner and I have said we would love to return to the same place! Stayed in many 5* and this has so far been the best all round experience... Staff couldn't do enough for us, even on last day when check out was 12, they arranged a hotel room until we left at 6pm for flight.... The room was fantastic!

Great beach resort

Excellent hotel. Had a very good time. Hotel facilities and staffs are excellent. The room was great and spacious. Highl recommend. Few negative points: - the restaurant menus are a bit limited and the prices are way too high for the quality - not enough beach chairs and umbrella available which means that if you arrive at the beach after 10:30am, you wont be able to benefit of the hotel infrastructures.

Best Hotel Ever

We came to Koh Samui for the last part of our one year anniversary trip and wanted to stay at a place that was relaxing and by the beach. This hotel over exceeded our expectations on many different levels. We have never had such an amazing experience and will be going back to stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived our personal concierge escorted us in and from that moment we were in love. Her name is Shima and she made sure that our stay was perfect. Her customer service and professionalism was outstanding. Shima and the staff were all very detailed and noted the items we liked such as drinks, food , etc. they made sure we were treated with the best service. Me and my husband travel a lot and I can honestly say that staying at this hotel made our trip the best ever.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in

Staff, rooms, food, service, location and cleanliness of everything make this place special. Nothing is too hard, and we felt cared for and looked after from the minute we arrived. While the feel is not really designed for families with small kids (lots of honeymooners) the staff make all kids feel very welcome. Best pool ever. Breakfast buffet outstanding. Will be back.

Idealic beach holiday

Had a really relaxing holiday due to spending the majority of the time in the hotel. There was a mix up with our rooms on arrival but this was Expedia's fault, advertising the wrong class room. Vana Belle managed to put this right the following day. Would have been put out if it wasn't rectified but under the manager's discretion it was. Special mentions to Mam with her impressive yoga skills and cheerful disposition. Jay, who was super knowledgeable on all aspects of attractions, from where to eat and where to shop. Great guy!!! Bella, our lovely waitress who put a smile on my face with everything that she said. Finally all of the spa staff. The spa is something special anyway. Great treatments and beautiful facilities but all of the therapists and manager, I was beyond impressed with, especially putting up with my quirky Dad and laughing at all of his jokes. The only criticism I could possibly make is, for such a luxury hotel, I would like to have had better sun loungers. The only down fall. On a final note, thank you very much to The Vana Belle for such a lovely stay. Your staff go above and beyond and all of their natures made me want to be cheery every day.

The best hotel for a vacation in Koh-Samui!

A very luxurious hotel. In a great location- 5 minutes driving from the Chaweng road where all the action at night is. The hotel offers a wide set of amenities. The swimming pool & beach are amazing, and so is the entire hotel ground.

Best Experience Ever..!!!

Traveled with my fiancee for the first time to Koh Samui. We travel often and this experience was one of the best we have had. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff & service is exceptional especially their concierge service. I tried hard to think about something negative but there is nothing I can complain about.

Luxury in the name only

We travel quite extensively in Asia and around the world and were looking forward to a quiet and peaceful stay with a bit of pampering. The room has an awkward tunnel feel with rather dull earth colors, and no accessories to lift the overall mood, the room pool is a large jacuzzi and the main pool doesn't offer enough space to swim comfortably. The service is sub par for an hotel of this category, be it in room-dining or restaurants. The gym and spa are world class however. The prices are comparable to what you would expect to pay at other similar hotels on the island, but for an hotel whose soft opening was over 2 years, the overall package is unacceptable. If you want a peaceful experience with a proper pool villa great service and salivating food, Six Senses Samui will deliver a much better experience.

Perfect week for a couple

Wonderful experience

Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed every moment from the lovely welcome to the amazing setting. The reception area over looks the beach and is just stunning. We stayed in the most basic room but this was spacious and modern with a big balcony with our own plunge pool. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful at all times. The area around the pool is beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the Vana Spa and had two treatments there. Two nights a week they have a BBQ buffet by the beach and this was delicious. We ate at Kiree, the Thai restaurant, which was nice but possibly more suited to a Western palate. Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience.

6 Star hotel!!! Friendly, polite & helpful staff. Mike was great, every recommendation he made for restaurants was amazing. The rooms were beautiful & clean. Amazing view from our room. Free bottles of water provided daily (x6). Our stay included breakfast which was buffet + order from the menu. Dinner at the hotel was amazing! One of the best Tom yum soups we've ever had! The english barrier wasn't a problem....they all spoke good english. Their signature cocktail was amazing, I could drink them all day! Best accommodation we've stayed in soo far & would DEFINATELY recommend & stay there again!

Amazing experience

Everything was perfect from the second we stepped onto the island. The hotel driver was waiting for us with cold water bottles and towels. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Probably the best service I've ever had at any hotel. The room was nice, with an amazing view to wake up to every morning. Some hotels on the island are located on rocky beaches, but the water here was very clear. Probably one of the nicest beaches on the island. My wife and I visited the spa and it was great. I suggest you visit spa, you won't be disappointed. The hotel is a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, then it is definitely a must visit. Oh, and the food was great; most delicious food I've had in Thailand.

Fantastic Beach Side Luxury Resort

I have to say the team at Vana Belle were absolutely excellent. First class, attentive service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Each member of staff greets you with a smile every time and when you need anything during your stay, just ask. We stayed in a premier pool suite and were very happy with the room, the view was unbelievable. The pool area has direct beach access and is monitored by security 24/7. The grounds are very well looked after and we highly recommend the spa treatments, even if they are on the pricey side!

Great Holiday and fantastic hotel

We had a great time at the Vana Belle. It was a long overdue Anniversary present and we ate well slept great and had a fantastic time. The view and facilities were great, the food was good. We had a couple of little service issues which could have been put down to a language gap (on my part in particular), however we had some really good anticipatory service where they predicted what we might want and it was there for us. Overall we would definitely recommend it and would certainly return to it if we go to Koh Samui again.

Thai Tranquility

Excellent new beachfront resort with very attractive and expertly-designed rooms. The beach, Chaweng Noi, is clean and lovely and has a good surf for splashing around. Pool and beachside lounge areas have an appealing layout. Breakfast is stellar, lunch and dinner offerings are decent, but could be improved. The massage at the spa is pricey but good quality. Fitness centre is clean and modern, but lacks equipment for lower body exercises. A squat rack and barbell is needed. Service is extremely friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for restaurants, a yoga retreat and Muay Thai gym.

Beauty by the beach

Our room was superbly designed and very comfortable. Facilities are modern and high quality. Beach is clean and attractive with heavy surf, suitable for bobbing in the waves but not swimming. Food is decent but wait staff have limited English and have trouble with orders that deviate from the menu. Gym is modern and relatively well equipped, but lacks a squat rack. Massage services are very good quality. Overall a lovely resort.

we had a wonderful stay at the hotel, we staid at the ocean view suite, the room is huge ! the service is perfect you fill welcome all over , the food is great the room service is not expensive as many hotels in the world, we had private consignee and we fill like kings :) i will back to the hotel defiantly

Chic understated luxury on beautiful beach

Have just spent a week in a tropical pool villa at this new resort. It is a truly 5 star experience. A personal butler attends to your every need (Max: you were outstanding). The food is excellent: beginning with a historic breakfast including oysters and champagne. The staff are delightful and attentive, the facilities excellent, the setting beautiful. It is more accessible and has better food than Banyan Tree and the beach is beautiful. The nicest villa we have found (we have stayed in perhaps 8 resorts in Samui). I recommend Vana Belle wholeheartedly and will be sure to return next year.

Beautiful Place

No complaints to be made. A little climbing/walking arnd the resort, but that was our choice as buggies are available on request. Would def go back again.

Wish we stayed longer

Look no further... Have been to Koh Samui a number of times and prefer to stay on the East coast (much better beaches). Chaweng is great for restaurants, bars, nightlife, but its good to stay just outside of the bustle. This is where Vana Belle ticks all the boxes. Amazing hotel, incredible ocean views, beautiful pool area, excellent staff/service on by far the best beach in Koh Samui, Chaweng Noi (Little Chaweng), just around the corner from Chaweng on the southern end. Do you self a favour and don't waste any more time looking.

Great place to unwind

It was our first visit to Koh Samui. This resort is quite new (just over a year old) and has everything you would want for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The facilities and service are first class. It also has the benefit of being located on one of the best beaches on Koh Samui. It's not a private beach, but very usable and not at all busy. Great pool, fitness centre. Couple of good food options at the resort but plenty of other good restaurants nearby.

I like this hotel very much

Location, service, food are great. I tried all restaurants in hotel and they were satisfactory. The only thing that could be improved is the internet. Only two devices can be supported at a time.

Nice romantic hotel

Very nice hotel, not very large, so not crowded at all. Great breakfasts! Very nice beach, although we were not lucky with the weather - was pretty windy, so the sea was not calm. Staff very polite, trained and considerate. Spa supposedly also nice, but looked too expensive - three times the prices of the best spa around. So we traveled.

Put simply you get what you pay for. This Hotel is worth every penny we paid with the level of service the highlight. Rooms and facilities are fantastic and the beach is probably the best in Samui as its so clean. Would certainly visit again

Excellent hotel for relaxing

The staff are very friendly and very helpful they will always go out of there way and the beach is breath taking, excellent sea view rooms as well as very privet and the gulf carts are 24h as it is on a hill. I would go again.

amazing honeymoon

truly a high end luxury resort, one that feels intimate and far from the maddening crowds of Koh Samui. A lot of nice touches such as their own cottage industry exotic soaps that they bring each evening to the room. Highly recommend!

Pleasant stay with family!

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the staff from the concierge desk, namely Ya and Doi, they are really helpful! Also the location is good, it's in between Chewang beach and Lamai beach, you can take a taxi of THB200 to Chewang main street to have spa/massage/dinner or to Lamai for seafood!!! The breakfast is another highlight! Unlimited supply of fresh fruit, oyster and other kind of choices from the menu. My family and I really enjoyed it!
