Our stay was clean and newly updated, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The food was also really good, especially the pork tacos at Strong Water Tavern. The only downside to our stay was the music being played in the lobby and courtyard area next to Guest House 3 was quite loud all throughout the night, and there were a few guests staying a few rooms down from us who were extremely loud at 1am. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on outside of your room but other than that, we’d definitely stay here again. The pros far outweighed the con.

Excellent Hotel

The lobby is very welcoming and relaxed. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and can answer any question you may have as well! This is truly one of my favorite places to stay when I come to Orlando.

Super clean, rooms are so nice, lots of dining options. The boat to city walk is so fast and convenient. Definitely would stay again!

Convenient transportation to Universal parks. Staff was very friendly and room was clean and comfortable.

We love the fact that they offered transportation from the boat ride to the the shuttles to the park! Amazing staff friendly very helping!

The receptionist and staff in the coffee shop need to be more trained to deal with clients.

Wonderful stay

Safety, clean, convenient

We loved the room, it was really spacious. we loved that we could walk to everything or get a ride in the ferry. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurants were different and convenient The parking situation was not ideal. They told us that parking was included with our room but we were charged anyway to get out of the parking garage, so I had to go back in and fill out a refund form with the staff, its been two weeks and they still have not refunded our parking fees. Normally I wouldn't complain about these things but it was more than hundred dollars.

We have stayed twice at this hotel. It is very clean and the pool area and the boat to CityWalk is awesome. We will be back for sure.

Very nice

Pool and jacuzzi entrance layered with slick tile. Causing me too slip into the jacuzzi and injuring myself. I was treated like it was my fault that the do not use anti slip materials on the stairs that enter the pool. I spent the day getting X-rays and icing injuries instead of enjoying my birthday.

Great location, and amazing service food was great and beds very comfortable.

Always perfect fit for our family

There was a room in front of our with a broken pipe and the carpet in front of our room was drenched for the entire stay . We had to sleep with a loud fan outside our room bec of the continuous water being leaked onto the carpet . I texted customer service for more towels and no answer . Housekeeping did however come and replenish our towels a day later and on our last day there was a construction crew attempting to fix the issue but I am pregnant and slipped a few times coming into our room which was scary . The pool heater was also broken and we were lot able to use it with our toddler . Other than that our stay was good .

Super nice hotel

You can’t beat the convenience of entering Universal from Sapphire Falls! The boat ride over is quick and easy from the hotel, and lines are generally pretty short, too. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

The only thing, the parking fees should be less expensive for guests.

We booked a pool view room and got a room with a view of trees and the back of a cabana. Called to get another room and there were no other rooms available. After having to ask for some other concessions, because the only thing they could offer was to move us into another room on a different day (which we prefer not to do since we were only there for 2 days) we were offered a free breakfast and a room credit for 2 days. We got the free breakfast but never got our room credit. We will not stay there again.

Excellent facilities! We had an amazing stay. The restaurant in basement was slow, that was our only downside. Everything else was perfect. Really enjoyed it!

Atmosphere and music

Wonderful!

We were so impressed with this property. It had a luxurious resort feel and was perfect for our dogs as well. It was clean and quiet and I can highly recommend the dining option on the lower level.

Dining dinner options can be better for what you spend. More of a variety is needed. Less Caribbean theme food with larger portions it's very expensive and the portions are tiny

We stayed at this resort because it was attached to Universal theme parks and offered early entry. However, the prices for everything on site are unreasonably high. I would compare the hotel itself to a $250 stay and we paid double this for a regular room. There were swarms of college kids staying in the hotel and were at the buffett. The staff gave us anniversary pins and told us it would get us freebie items but we never saw any of this and we wore them the entire time. I will mention the staff and service were outstanding and the one thing that stood out. We won’t be coming back to stay here again. It was overpriced for the quality.

They did mess up on the birthday surprise upon arrival in our room but overall a great stay

Sapphire was a nice resort, very convenient for getting to City Walk.

I loved the the hotel but our room had a smell of dirty carpet. The room was clean and very nice but the smell didn’t smell fresh and clean. the hotel smelled nice it was just our room. we weren’t in there much so we didn’t bother switching rooms

We had a wonderful sisters trip! We really enjoyed all of the friend staff. Jose at the pool and Stormy who was bartending were both absolutely amazing! We really loved our visit and we will be back!

Great trip with a few hiccups

Hotel was beautiful! Loved our room and our view. Had a few hiccups during our stay. The one day we had left our room picked up so the maids could come in and clean and we got a text after we had been out at the parks all day saying they were respecting our privacy and didn’t enter our room because we had the do not disturb on our door. It was not on the door and someone had entered our room because a second bottle of overpriced water had been placed in our room while we were out. I called and asked the front desk and they apologized and said they could come clean our room then. After being out all day we just waited to have it cleaned the following day. The other issue was the valet we paid for to make sure our brand new car was taken care of with extra care had a pen mark on the door panel of the white leather. We have never had pens in the car and it wasn’t there the first days we got there. They said they would try to remove the pen mark or would fill out a claim neither ever happened which was a little irritating. We were also there during hurricane Milton so we spent a lot of time in our room which put a damper on our trip but that of course was not the hotels fault. They may want to look into the fact that the floor where the lobby is had a very strong marijuana smell by the ice room every single day we were there. I think it could be employees but we weren’t for sure. Not a huge deal for us but for people with little kids it might be concerningWill probably stay again

Property is nice. We had requested an upper floor room and even had to wait over half an hour to get one. Called to front desk to reprogram keys only to find out they didn't have any upper rooms available. No real biggie, just disappointed. Beds are comfortable. Don't like the sliding door for the bathroom though...not very private. Boat access to the parks is a major plus and even walking to them was great. A little better maintenance on the grounds could go a long way though.

I was a little upset they didn’t take off the room service meal I had that was awful. The steak was well overcooked and so salted I couldn’t even eat. I did leave a note but was still charged. Place was nice and convient however.

A very effortless process to have a good time

It's always my fourth choice when I'm in Universal parks > First, Royal P, then Hard R, then Portofino. It is very good hotel .

Able to have transportation to different location

Very satisfied with this hotel. Water taxi was very convenient. It’s also a pleasant walk from the parks, maybe 15 minutes. We had stayed at Royal pacific to get the express passes but then transferred here to relax. Our bags were moved over for us so it was pretty seamless and saved about $300 per night. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant at this hotel. The pool was also lovely. Would definitely stay again (for non park days 🙂, you can’t beat having the express passes)

Boat ride to studio

Like many properties in Orlando that are busy all the time rooms sometimes show their usuage a bit. Shower water pressure really low. Fixed right away. Wall safe broke. Replaced in less than an hour

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was allowed to check in alightly early since i got there sooner than expected. Hotel was in great condition and the pool was very relaxing with an occasional surprise duck walking around

The place was extremely clean and very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend!

First day we got there I was directed to 5 different places for my dog to potty. No one knew where he was supposed to go until I spoke to someonw in Valet services. The 5 employees I spoke to each sent me to 5 different corners of the property. It was 100 degrees and humid. I would love to say more but it is a waste of my time.

Food choices for picky kids are limited.

First time was not disappointed

Check in took entirely too long! The coffee shop/dining options food is absolute terrible. We didn’t have a single thing we liked other than the chocolate cake. The carpets are worn down and walls beat to hell… desperate needing renovation. Friendly staff and transportation was great going in and out of universal. We are on the fence if we’d ever stay again or not. Just mediocre at best.

We’ve stayed at this property twice now and would definitely return. Proximity to Universal City walk and the parks is fantastic. Employees are friendly and helpful. The pool is wonderful especially later in the evening when it is quiet.

Get place to visit. Me and my family was pleased.
