Wonderful

This place is a dream, the food is delicious very friendly and helpful staff we loved our stay ❤️

Loved being able to sit on our veranda and see the rainforest covered valley in front of us. Very little in the way of neighbours or other buildings. Very peaceful (no noise from the road where we were located), and very friendly staff. Ubud central is around 3kms away - so that's a bit of a walk (40 mins or so, which we did a couple of times), otherwise free shuttle three times a day or 70/80k idr one way. Pros and cons with that distance - but we'd take the tranquillity any time. Would certainly recommend to others.

Every where you looked you would be looking at art works and beutiful buildings and the views down or up to the valley are to die for. very good value for the money

Friendly and helpful staffs. Overall a wonderful trip! Everyone is entitled to only one main for breakfast.

Many steps to go up and down from your room. The view is breathtaking specially after raining.

Ulun Ubud Resort ans Spa

It's a lovely hotel overlooking a ridge with a stream and forest and my best hotel stay compared to a few that I have stayed during my 13 days trip in Bali. It's quiet too yet not far away from attractions and restaurants. You can hire a motorbike from the hotel and book a massage there too. The spa rooms are comfortable and clean too. The restaurant serves good food as well.

Lovely stay on outskirts of busy Ubud

Beautiful & clean hotel with very friendly service throughout for our 5 night stay in Ubud. Good food with many choices @ restaurant. Shuttle service into Central Ubud was helpful, yet we wish it was offered for a longer period each day. WiFi in hotel room was terrible, yet strong in lobby/restaurant. It couldn’t be improved, even after our request. Many stairs in this property, FYI. Ask for a room overlooking river/jungle for views & privacy.

Amazing place to stay in ubud. Beautiful view, very clean and great room services. Food was so good and affordable. Great welcome drinks and Free treats. I was very impressed and one of the best accomodations in Bali. Love love love it. I High recommend it !!!

Beautiful property

Had a wonderful experience here. Property was absolutely stunning. Would recommend this place without a doubt. The only small issue was a mildew smell in the bathroom. The staff addressed it immediately; however it persisted throughout our stay. Hopefully they can address this and get a permanent fix.

The property is absolutely amazing, wonderful staff and wonderful food. Resort is right next ro ubud center which is super convenient for tourist. I would stay again. And when i had little issue the manager made everything right right away. I love it

The property is very nice and peaceful feel like you’re in a jungle. Love having the sound of chickens wake you up in the morning. The staff is very good and informative.

Beautifully designed on a hillside overlooking the river & it’s canopy of trees with a variety of greens and textures. bungalows or small red brick and black stone buildings, compose this resort, one meanders paths without any imposing structures. Sculptures honour nature & spiritual beliefs... this place is a GeM.

The property overlooks a beautiful and quiet river valley. The property flows down the hillside and could be difficult for some to negotiate due to all of the stairs. The pool is one of the cleanest and refreshing we've ever been in. Loved all of the statues and other stonework. The restaurant is lovely but the kitchen staff is very loud -- open kitchen -- and this detracts from the beautiful view. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Always had privilige of prtsonalised servive. All staff were very quick to response. Special appreciation to Sirodhani for managing our veg breakfast.

Property was in a great local, close to everything yet very peaceful. Staff were wonderful and rooms very clean with everything that you need and absolutely amazing views!! Breakfast and dinner were average

What a gorgeous property! The staff was amazing and the daily breakfast that was included in the price was wonderful. The cost for staying there was superb! Love Ulun Ubud! We will stay there when we come back to Ubud!

This property was ok! The staff were very good and very help and were not always waiting for a tip and were often surprised when they got one. They are currently offering big discounts, maybe it’s low season this attracts the sort of people who think leaving a hotel towel on one of the few sun loungers guarantees they have sole use of it all day! The hotel really should not put up with this and remove them after a given time. Talking of sun beds the ones by the lower pool are the most uncomfortable I have come across in many years with a metal bar right across the middle which gives you a sore back after a fairly short time. Although the pool bar is always staffed the main longe bar is not with guests told to get it from the restaurant above which is a shame as the lounge bar is quite comfortable. If you don’t like steps or have a week heart think twice as there are a lot! All rooms seem to have a nice view over the valley. The shuttle into the centre is good and reliable. The breakfast is good although most guests seem to eat elsewhere in the evening or have it served in there room - probably to avoid the stairs! They need to look at the detail to get back too where they should be - their staff are to be commented as they are all still warm welcoming and helpful, if the resort looses that they will go downhill quickly.

Beautiful location, setting and facilities. Staff are absolutely lovely. Quiet and peaceful location but easy to places to eat and attractions. Loved our stay and will come back.

The views were simply spectacular, with vast green forest as far as the eye could see. The pools seemed well maintained and offered a nice place to relax. Staff were helpful and were always happy answer any questions you may have

It was really nice overall. Views are breathtaking and the staff members are lovely, they even made us a honeymoon cake!. This place is great for peace and quiet. Totally recommend it 😃

Very chill and nice place

Very clean hotel, nice view and surroundings along with friendly around. The hotel theme is very unique in its style. It was the best getaway hotel ever.

Staff were fantastic, very accommodating to any request we had. Staff were happy to book tours for us. Breakfast was delicious, there was a daily afternoon tea in the restaurant & dinner was lovely if you choose to eat at the resort. The rooms & views were amazing. Really lovely pool with a bar & happy hour. Resort in great location away from the hustle & bustle of Ubud but not too far if you travel by the resort shuttle.

The hotel was in walking distance or short cab drive to Ubud which was ideal . The size of the hotel was small but this made it very personal . The staff were very accommodating and extremely welcoming. I loved this hotel and it’s beautiful location. Breakfast was a daily treat - as a different menu option each day . There was nothing I didn’t like about this place.

The view was breathtaking both from our room and also the public pool area. The staff were so friendly and facilitated every request we made. The food was really really yummy and really well priced. The pool staff were great with setting the mood for happy hour too playing great music and always serving with genuine friendliness. Thankyou to the team at Ulun ubud for an absolutely amazing stay!

Amazing place overall! Maybe the food menu could be improved and have more local food instead of mainly western type dishes.. Ideally if you stay here you have your own car or mopeds as coming and going to Ubud centre can end up being quite expensive! We never walked it all the way but the road is not necessarily appealing and the traffic is mad.

UBUD HONEYMOON

We came to Ubud for our honeymoon and spent our stay at Ulun Ubud. the resort is beautiful, entering in you would never believe what's waiting for you behind the entrance. The views are truly breathtaking. If we are ever able to make it to Ubud again in the future I know this is where we would want to be. the staff was incredible, helped me with getting laundry service for my camera bag that I had dropped in the rice terraces, the breakfasts are wonderful and show the local flavor and the dinners were incredible as well. I have nothing bad to say about this location.

Fantastic property! Our room had this unique charm about it! Very clean and spacious! They gave us the room right in front of the infinity pool, which was a huge plus for us. The views from the room and the pool are mesmerizing. Very peaceful and silent, except for the birds chirping, which felt like meditation. The staff was very courteous and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast options were outstanding! There was a new menu to choose from every morning, which was a big deal for us. The views from the restaurant were icing on the cake. The area around the resort feels very safe, though there wasn't a need for us to go out (walking) during our stay. The staff arranged for a cab that we used to move around to visit the nearby sights, including the rice fields and coffee plantations. They also provided free shuttle service to go into the town area, and included free pick-up too. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely considering returning.

I liked everything about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. Perfect on cleanliness, friendliness and attentiveness of staff. I appreciate the extra convenience provided to guests thru free shuttle services to the tourist center. When in your villa, you would not want to go out because of the great ambience. Inside the hotel you will find a restaurant, a bar and a spa. Charming place in a charming town.

We liked the feeling of remoteness whilst in the hotel and the fantastic views of the jungle surroundings.

Ubud gem

Beautiful views from every room of this hotel. Lovely pool and remarkable architecture in this hotel. Many stairs required for almost every room and restaurant. Breakfast was made to order and delicious.

The hotel was very nice. Our only complaint (no fault of the staff) is that there are a lot of bugs in the area (due to the fact it’s near the forest). The rooms are not completely sealed as well, so insects can get into the rooms. The staff can provide mosquito coils but it doesn’t fully help against other bugs. The restaurant is also completely open to the elements so with all those bugs it can lead to a not so pleasant dinner experience.

A treehouse on the hill

We would happily stay at Ulun Ubud again. It’s very quiet and tranquil and the staff are very welcoming. There is a free hourly shuttle that takes you into Ubud where you will find some great shopping and restaurants. Our boys (aged 3 and 6) adored the resort saying it was like a treehouse on the side of a hill. The restaurant had a great selection of foods too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

LOVED everything about this hotel. The staff was amazing and always so happy to assist with whatever you needed. It is about a 10 minute shuttle/taxi into the city center but they were always prompt in picking us up. And the views from our balcony were well worth the shuttle. Would love to stay again!

Bali-Ubud 2018

Great hotel. Great staff. Went solo. This hotel sits high and you have to be in shape to get around but one of the best hotel ever. The view is to die for.

Loved It. Was there 17 years ago and came back.

Great place. Be sure to ask for one of the hillside cottages to experience the charm of the place. They have some newer cement units at the top of the property that are completely adequate but no character like the cottages. Food is very good band the staff is delightful.
