Weekend break.

Weekend break,the hotel is old but the hotel has been kept in a very good condition. The superior room was big and was very clean. The water pressure on the shower was not great. For the money we are very pleased with the hotel.We would stay here again.

This property needs updating! There are only two electrical outlets these rooms. One is by a nightstand beside the bed and one behind the television set. This property is average at best but the location is prime, about five minutes from Pattaya beach road. The aircon worked sporadically and when you leave the room and take the keys the electricity shuts off in the room. Great location and good for budget travelers.

Lovely staff clean motel

Great staff and great location. Easy walk to the beach. Halfway between Central Mall and Terminal 21. Everything you want to do is walkable or go outside and catch a taxi.

Enter the hotel complex from second road not beach road , the reception is right at the top by second road and a long walk up from beach road. I had a superior room with a wall to look at !!!

Dirty toilets, cigarette smells, and understaffed.

The first room stank of cigarettes. I was told there really are no nonsmoking rooms and given a can of air freshener. The 2nd room’s toilet was brown and disgusting. It was flushed which released a disgusting rotten egg smell into the room that my food was just delivered to, and the employee left. The 3rd room (these are the “Superior Balcony rooms) smelled even worse and the toilet was just as dirty. Exasperated, I went back to the 2nd room and CLEANED THE TOILET MYSELF. This was now midnight. I packed up and left the next day. A rude employee or bad food is one thing, but this was just horrifyingly gross. Upside? It’s on the beach, the poos look nice, and you can see all the clean hotels all around you. No thanks.

It was great. Great location. I just wished they had a safe in the room. They have it at the check in counter if you need it.

There were no water for more then one hour at the evening.

Always stay here when I am in town

when i got to the hotel I found that there was room booked which coursed me great did comfort.i had to pay 1500bt for the night and had to leave the next day at 12 pm but in the end they found my detailes.the manager Pat was very helpful.As for the room well it was small and the view was aweful the room number was234 and looked out to see two sheds and iron barbed railings ,20 yards away was a large hotel wall,to me this was not a superior room.they did say I could change it but for my illness which I was in hospital for 5days..the staff where great I must say.

Hotel has gone downhill

Stayed here many times over the last 10 years. Going back a few years it was a lovely friendly place to stay but sadly it's no longer the case. Unfortunately the last couple of years they have kept pushing prices up - but failed to make any improvements to justify the increases. It's no longer good value and frankly overpriced. Don't be fooled by the old photos, the rooms are now looking very dated & tatty. Staff lack training although some are very friendly and reception staff bordering on rude. The wi-fi is weak, only good enough for basic stuff. Nice swimming pool but most days they ran out of pool towels !! Breakfast is really poor and almost like an afterthought. No Cereals / Milk / Fruit Juice at all for children (or adults), no Bacon, Yoghurts etc, one small toaster set too low with many people waiting ages to use it. They don't seem aware of what a breakfast buffet should be like and the selection offered is very basic and tiny. It's a shame really that they seem to want to squeeze every last Baht out the guests but the facilities, service & staff are way, way behind.

Great spot close to the Beach and walk boardwalk

Clean Pool, friendly staff, but noisy at times because roomers bring hookers to their room after Bars closes. Should not be allowed. Not fair for regular people who want a good night rest.

Wonderful place

For me it was perfect, just the right walking distance yo anything. The pools are amazing, the rooms are fantastic, we had a balcony. Staff great, everything you want.

A very good hotel

A very good hotel. So close to the beach and beach road. The swimming pool is very good. The breakfast can be improved. All the staff at the hotel is great and friendly.Only the staff during breakfast was acting weird. They will pretend that they dont understand english, when they actually do. But once I spoke to the lady manager every thing was just fine!! A geat hotel with resort like ambience so close to the beach.

Overall a good stay

Overall a good stay. But there are following parameters which need to be improved. 1) Electric kettle was not available in the room and no tea and coffee arrangement was available. 2) None of the staffs understand English which is a terrific problem. I suggest to depute at least one English speaking staff on each shift. 3) The driver of the cab arranged by hotel for return to Bangkok airport could not understand a single word in English. But, I want to mention here that the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Here I want to mention about Mr. Nope who had arranged everything for us with a smiling face always. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The family room was clean and sufficiently spacious. A good experience.

Close to Soi 6

Hotel was reasonably priced and right on the beach. Swimming pool was a good addition on the hot days. Very close to Soi 6 which is always a fun time. Negatives would only be that it is some distance from walking street but the 10 baht tuk tuk is always an easy option for transport.

Location Location Location

Probably a 2-3 star resort. Set right on the beach. Has a good breakfast buffet for both westerners and Asians convenient location between 2nd Rd and Beach Rd, great pool. Rooms are some what dated but still a great value for the other amenities.

Only a short stay

e enjoyed our stay at Twin Palms resort, the room was basic but very spacious (2 adults and 3 kids) and clean and the pool was lovely. The resort is a little far to walk with kids in the heat although its easy enought to hail a tuk tuk if you know what you're doing! We booked a 3 hour taxi drive through a lady at a smaller reception area halfway down the long driveway of the resort with the promise of an English speaking driver...not only did he not speak English but he drove like a maniac (even compared to Thai standards!) and was eating leaves on the way (??opioid plants). I would suggest booking transport somewhere else...

I was at the twin palms for 10 nights. THE BAD - No hot water (the shower had Luke warm and the sink only cold), - The bed was ROCK HARD - - No bedside light only full room light or nothing. - Balcony light always on, so never pitch black to sleep ( curtains did not fit windows) - No room safe only front desk safe ( open between 8:00 am to 9:00 pm), - The staff seemed like you were bothering them if you needed information or help - The breakfast was buffet with sticky rice , soggy sausages and ham (the were eggs were made to order) The GOOD - The maid service was very good - Restaurant open 24 hrs. ( with room service) - Close to beach - fairly quiet at night

Stay away

I end up to rent another hotel and pay for both of them. Just a bathroom and a bed that you can crash on it. Check in was not pleasant and I didn't feel welcome. I was the only person who was smiling. If you are asking for a room with view, they make sure that you regret it. You can find a better place with the same or less money. Breakfast is ok with few choices.

Good Stay

Comfortable hotel on the Beach Road (running perpendicular to the road). Nice size pool. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Nice size balcony with chairs. The buffet breakfast was overall poor in food variety/quality. No lift in the section I stayed in, which was comprised of three floors. Nevertheless, I would stay there again as I am a solo traveler, usually don't eat breakfast, and a member of the staff carried my luggage up the stairs for me! Found the street food in the area good and plenty of good restaurants. About a ten to fifteen minute walk to the "Walking Street".

It was excellent.Location is fantastic.you can enter from either side.Staff is very cooperative and helpful.we liked the Hotel so much that we had cancelled our third day reservation in a starred hotel and stayed on in this hotel for the third day.

I've stayed here a few other times dating back to my first trip to Thailand in 2004. They have since remodeled the whole place it seems. The rooms closest to beach road completely renovated. However, the rooms closest to 2nd road are only slightly smaller than the rooms closest to the beach with restaurant downstairs for an additional 300 baht. Great location. Right next to Hard Rock hotel. No need to rent transportation as the baht bus (which are in abundance) will take you to walking street for 10 baht. Pool was being cleaned for the first few days of my stay but was able to enjoy some nice sunny days next to the pool thereafter. Clean rooms. Only complaint would be the towels tend to smell a bit like mildew. A short walk to Big C fixed this for less than 200 baht. I recommend this quiet location right on the beach for a great price! Restaurant is open 24 hours and serves up great food as well. I love the Twin Palm resort and will definitely be back to stay again. Clean. Quality. Affordable. Great location. What more could you ask for other than new fresh smelling towels?!

Lovely stay

The location was outstanding. The service was very good. Especially the person at the front office who was very helpful. The rooms were clean. Only if the room ACs were a bit powerful.

Location is nice.

To those people who likes to walk I would recommend this place. Location is nice, near the beach. It was not a very warm welcome from the staff. ( I guess they're having a bad day. ) But I still consider coming back again to this resort. One more thing, the bed is just too old, they may consider changing it.

Nice hotel with excellent location.

The WiFi was not working in my room through out my stay. complained many times but no result. Food quality is OK rooms are clean the staff is cooperative.

Hotel was pretty much what you expect. Room was ok, air con worked. Wasn't much in the way of service, but didn't ask for much either. Worth the money and good location

Staff is very rude to Indian customers.

Never in life will recommend this resort. Staff at Twin palms kitchen was not at all hospitable. All Indian customers are not so welcome.

Twin Palms - Ony the name is catchy :)

The hotel is at the most prime location in Pattaya, right in the middle of the Beach road and next to Hardrock hotel. It is at most accessible place. The moment you get out, you can take an auto upto walking street and can come back the same way. Language is a big problem. Restaurant staffers are hugely rude and are working there as if they are being forced to do that. Rooms are shabby and poorly maintained. My view - There are plenty of hotels around which are more classy and come at same price. Don't come here again.

Clean and comfortable

Checked in for a long weekend. Hotel was clean and comfortable and close to almost everything. A short Red Bus or taxi ride to Walking Street but lots to do and see nearby.

One of the best staff I've encountered, very impressive hospitality. Very helpful, organized and friendly. Excellent hotel facilities, clean and comfortable. Great WiFi reception and cable channels. My room was quiet, comfortable & clean. Don't expect 5 star decor for this price. Definitely recommended 1 min walk from the beach & in the middle of many night life. 5min away from the Walking street by taxi. Breakfast quality not the best.

Don't believe the pictures

Hotel is in good location, but the "bungalow" was in very poor condition. No aircon in the main room, only one tiny TV (no tv in bedrooms), cramped and ugly bathroom which everyone needs to share. The pictures on the listing, whilst accurate have been taken from angles to make the resort look a lot nicer than it is in reality. Shop around because there is much better value to be found elsewhere.

Great location, near beach, restaurants, shopping etc. One entrance made room access quite far, no elevator/lift. After booking thru Hotels.com for 3 ppl occupancy, upon check-in receptionist demanded additional charge per extra person (2 ppl max).

Good hotel with plenty of place around.

Large rooms . Good location. Healthy free atmosphere for guest movement. Middle building with good balcony is the one to be chosen. It is superior room. A bit expensive considering normal pattaya rates.

lets start with the bad things as in thailand the beds are hard ok now for the good the twin palms is a great stay the staff never let you down happy friendly and trusting just a top group off people the rooms are a good size clean always tv,s are good with nice range off shows .the food is nice and the pool is the best.

Great location at beach

Nice pool near beach, only 1.6 meters deep so I could stand up ok. Clean room, nice bed and pillows. Nice TV, fridge, shower, big towels. Breakfast buffet was ok, not great, same every day. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, rice, Thai food, salad, coffee, tea, orange juice, fruit, dumplings, cereal, milk. I was in the Garden Wing, had a balcony with 2 chairs, table, clothes rack. Balcony has a light on all night, might bother some people even with dark curtains closed. Free 2 bottles of water every day. Room service, laundry. There is a smaller pool towards Second Road. I would stay again.

Nice sized room in the Garden wing. Nice balcony with 2 chairs and a table and a clothes rack. Nice shower, very good pressure and temperature, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, Q-tips, shower caps, big towels. Toilet paper goes into the trash can next to the toilet. Nice 32" LCD TV, 2 movie channels, Fox News, BBC, some US show channels, Thai, French, Russian. Mini fridge with 2 free bottles of water each day. Mini bar with soda and beer, reasonably priced. Laundry service is available. Bed is soft and big, has a duvet and 2 big pillows. Good light from behind the headboard for reading. Outlets next to bed for computer or whatever. Two tables and small table by bed. Lots of ceiling lights. Blackout curtains on patio door. There is a light on each balcony that stays on all night, the room is never really pitch black but it was not a problem. There is a closet with hangers. THe pool is by the beach, it is very nice, not too deep. I'm 6' and it came to my chin. There are jets on one end that give a good massage. There is a kids' section too. Lounge chairs, tables and chairs, outdoor shower. Pool/beach towels are available behind the dining room, don't use the room towels. Lots of trees and plants, very relaxing. The buffet breakfast is from 7AM to 10:30. It has cereal, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, hot dogs, Thai food, fried rice, salad, coffee, tea, juice. Some Chinese steamed buns adn little round pork things that are delicious. Fruit. The dining room is open for lunch and dinner

Great Location in Pattaya

the hotel is located in the central area of pattaya bang opposite to the Pattaya beach and 2 kms walking distance from the major attractions of pattaya. Had a memorable stay. The hotel rooms were good for bachelors. I would not recommend it for family stay as by the night time you would see a lot of 'ladies' walking in and out of this place. The breakfast is slightly overpriced, but if you are looking for a place to sleep in a comfortable room and probably bring few girls i would strongly recommend this place. The belongings of ours were kept safe. So overall a good experience.

Poor rooms supersede great location

The rooms we a bit lowly maintained. AC was a let down. Room lighting was very in-sufficient. Toilet needs renovation. I don't recommend this hotel unless the rooms are modified.

Cheap and cheerful...did the job!

Ok, cheap, Bed very hard. Decent pool with nice surround but slightly cloudy. Excellent location near the middle of the strip. Good, efficient AC.

Standard room has hard beds and are 200m far from the nice swimming pool. My aircon did work bad so warm room. The big Swimmingpool is nice .

Central hotel open for extra guests. Between beachroad and second road. Near money change and seven/11. 2 pools. Nice little garden. Coffeshop at beachroad. Friendly staff. I will come back soon.

Das Frühstück war schlecht, jeden Tag 3 Auswahlmöglichkeiten Reissuppe, gebratener Reis oder Spiegelei mit Würstchen. Dazu nur Toastbrot, Butter und Marmelade. Kein Obst, kein Gemüse, keine Cornflakes, keine Milch, nichts frisches. Buffet war abgedeckt. Zum Schlafen und Waschen ist es Gut. Frühstück dann Ausserhalb. Zudem war gegenüber noch eine Baustelle die viel Krach machte.
