The wi-fi was very slow. We couldn’t use it for our phone or ipads. It needs to be improved a lot.

This was our second stay at Tunnel Mountain resort. The rooms are a good size and they are cleaned daily which is great. Beds are comfortable good size. Only complaint is that there was not enough bedding... We were cold and when we asked for extra blankets we were told they had none. Other than that the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bus stop is outside so very convenient for the public bus to town (ticket free with accommodation). Excellent value for money. Kitchen facilities are minimal (fridge, hob and microwave) but enough for us to cook meals every day to keep costs down. A great place to stay overall. Would recommend for families or groups as rooms reasonable size.

It has a townhouse feel, but very cozy. We loved the cleanliness and the design of our accommodation. One of the best things we appreciated is the hotel/Airbnb concept since most hotels don't even offer pans, utensils etc. Only one comment was the free for all parking which works for the most part, but where our room was located, there was a bunch of cars parked due to some guests having multiple vehicles instead of one per stall. I had to park a little farther, but overall, parking was decent.

Our family loves staying at Tunnel Mountain. Although it is situated away from Banff Ave., it is quiet and there is easy access to hikes and nature walks.

I Love hotels that are pet friendly. We had an excellent stay, although they forgot to give us puppy bowls and stuffs, but it doesn't matter, what really matter is that, the place truly feels like home. The kitchen is what I like the most, we have all we need, the beds the pillows so comfortable, the bathroom so nice. The resort is so close to our favourite hiking trails and downtown, so convenient, and staffs are so friendly. We are staying here again. This place, I highly recommend.

We loved the view from out room. It is located on a quiet street, with a great bus service to town. The bathroom was so cold. No heat in it. The outlet didn't work in the bathroom.

Great bang for your buck. We had a stand alone cabin for the week and it was great. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The only reason for 4 starts and not 5 is because of cleanliness. The floors were not clean. The dining table had spilled drink spots on it (which came off very easily with warm water and soap...no scrubbing required), and there was hair on the linens. Have your cleaning staff step up their game, and there will be nothing to complain about. All-in-all a great experiance, and would absolutely book another stay. (But next time I'll be vocal, on site, about any cleanliness concerns)

We had a great weekend away. Booked this hotel specifically for the amenities kitchen and wood burning fireplace and it’s location. Our one bedroom studio condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The overall cleanliness could be improved alittle and fixing up the small minor repairs and painting would make it even better. The staff around the hotel and in the lobby were very police and nice and always helpful whenever we needed anything. Overall we would stay at this hotel again.

Fun family getaway

We stayed in one of the cabins and our kids loved it. Nice to have a kitchen and separate sleeping areas. Also a great, quiet location. Stayed on a very cold weekend so had to drive to and from the pool and wished there was a hot tub. But otherwise a great stay!

Easy check in. We were only there for the night as we got up to go ski. Was easy in and out and the 3 bed option is awesome!!! Highly recommend and will be staying at this hotel again.

We really appreciated the free passes for the shuttle bus. It avoided the hassle of having to drive into downtown Banff and find- and pay for -parking. We certainly would stay here again.

All the amenities are in separate buildings. For example the pool is another building from sauna and steam room.

I didn't like the temperature in the pool. Took my 2 year old granddaughter in there & she was shivering while in & out of the pool. The showers & change room for the pool were excellent however.

Family Ski Trip

Stay was good. The room was sufficient but did not look like the photo. The kitchen was way smaller than advertised though it had all the essentials one would expect a kitchen to have. The fan in the room was too loud. We could not turn it off.

It was okay, but my room was next to the elevator which was noisy and the baseboard heating clicked loudly as it heated up and cooled down. Not a great night’s sleep!

The chimney was broke so we couldn’t have a fire but it was beautiful outside the balcony and it was completely comfortable for me and my in laws

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Parking is not reserved. The lot can sometimes be filled and you'd need to park a short walk away from your room. The bus stop is immediately outside the hotel, which was very convenient if you don't want to drive downtown. The pool was sightly heated but still quite chilly. The sauna was quite nice. Would stay here again.

The place is actually nice but it wasn’t nicely clean. The top of the counters on the kitchen when you open them you can see the accumulated dust and like spider webs I kept sneezing even it smelled like dust, the toaster we didn’t even want to use it because it was dirty at the bottom you can see some grease and dust haha like the cabin is nice looking but the cleaning is veryyyyy superficial you can tell no deep clean is done often. But we are still happy with the stay just try to improve on this :)

Family ski trip

Loved it! Had a mini kitchen we used during whole stay. Pool is in a separate building, unfortunately. Due to winter weather we were not inclined to go to another building to access the pool. But otherwise it was a great stay. They only had two dining chairs so we asked for a third chair and the front desk responded in less than 30 mins. One night the stove wasn't working while preparing dinner. Called front desk and they responded in 15 mins. Very responsive and helpful. Kitchen accessories were well stocked. Room was very quiet. Did not hear any noise from other units. Their noise policy was helpful.

Staff was very friendly. Saunas were nice and bus was very accessible to get downtown.

We loved the unit and the view but the cleanliness was very poor. Sticky floors, feet turned black walking around in bare feet. Dirty baseboards, dust, mold, etc.

This resort is not in downtown but the Roam bus stop is right in front of it, which makes it quite convenient. It has lots of free parking on site. The outside of the property look dated but the rooms are renovated. Overall, we had a great stay at this resort.

Room was very dirty on check in. Dust on utensils. Cobwebs on walls and ceiling. Dirty can left under sink and no garbage bag to line sink. Soap scum on shower walls. Lack of cooking pans. Sauna was disgustingly dirty with someone’s bandaid left on dirty floor. Overall cleanliness was a huge disappointment. Staff was excellent in responding to need. Cabin was way over priced.

Needs renovating. We liked fire place. Loft challet’s not recommended with small kids as there is an open area on 2nd floor to main floor and beds are right up to pony wall so kids can look down, throw things and dangerous if they climb. Likely won’t return to this location

We liked having a stocked kitchenette for cooking meals as needed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very quiet, no street noise or hall noise.

Great little resort! Our cabin could have been cleaned a little better before we arrived as the sofa bed had a large stain on the mattress. That being said everything else was fantastic, staff were great, cabin was private, pool was used daily. Would definitely return!

Best room I’ve had yet. Always a pleasant stay at Tunnel Mountain.

The sauna and steam room whi h are nice options were a little stale and felt unsanitary. Our entry door needed attention. It was jammed. Should be fixed. Bettwr loghting on doors / cclear door numbering for parking would be a good idea. The room hvac has a system.blowing constantly. It dis not bother me but some guests may be annoyed by that. The tv is not a smart tv so you could not get Netflix/ youtube etc. Which is now pretty standard. Lighting in the room was poor. It would be good to have individual spot lighting for ea h person in each bed. The lights all worked on one switch so it was either on or off. And the lighting was a little dim if you wanted to read or do fine work at night. Our room had a kitchenette. That was excellent for our needs. And a balcony. Also excellent for our needs even though it is winter. Its nice to have that openness. Room cleaning and restocking each day was excellent. The soaps were excellent. The beds were comfortable and lots of plush pillows.

The staff was great. The room was nice and clean. There was a walking trail close by. The hotel offered bus passes if you didnt want to drive. There is coffee in the lobby in the morning. Overall for the price it was reasonable.

The accomodations were excellent. We brought food and did cook in the kitchenette. The only thing was that the firewood was wet and the logs were too big, so it was hard to keep a fire going! Staff was super friendly and the chalet was clean and beds were comfy!

Clean, good for family!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We have made such amazing memories here and the staff are always incredibly accomodating!

Our room was very cold when we checked in. It would be nice for the staff to turn up the heat in the afternoon of check in. The bathroom was really cold all the time.

Pet-friendly is a huge plus, comfortable and cozy getaway. Certainly not the cleanest (bathroom walls had lots of dust piled up above the door, pull-out sofa looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a few visits), but overall a great stay. Main bedroom was very clean, lovely staff.

Loved the wood burning fireplace. We prepared a family dinner and was able to enjoy some hot chocolate while playing a board game with the kids.

Tunnel Mountain Comfort

Wonderful stay! Loft was spacious, clean and comfortable. Transit bus near the Resort was convenient for a short ride into Downtown Banff to browse the shops and restaurants.

Room could’ve been a bit cleaner on arrival — found popcorn and dirty tissues. Cleaning service was a bit spotty. But overall everyone was incedibly helpful and nice whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet and Clean Cabin

We had a nice condo with a mountain cabin vibe. The kitchen, dining, living areas were small but fine for the two of us. Since we were there in summer, we didn't need the fireplace but it would have been nice and cozy in fall or winter. It was far enough out of the heart of Banff to be fairly quiet with bus service into town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Been to tunnel mountain several times and have gone back with family because we always liked it . They have made small upgrades possibly since last there . The room was missing a few things and was not the cabin we expected to get for. Our booking For the same money basically the hidden ridge is a better value for the money

A place to stay when visiting magical Banff town and surrounding areas!

We enjoyed the view from the window, loved that it was setup as a home away from home! Our room had a full kitchen!! Love the furnishings.

The view is beautiful, pool is nice but a bit cold water. Kitchenette in the room, super convenient, stocked with all you need, fridge, stove, toaster, cofee maker, pots and pans etc. Very nice big shower.
