Nice Property
Good stay
I am so happy I booked this property! The staff was amazing, Andrea, Leo, Fabiana, and everyone else I encountered. They were super attentive and so friendly! they made me feel welcomed as soon as I checked in. The property itself was clean, and though near a busy street it was quiet. I had the best sleep here. The bed was comfy and those pillows were amazing. I need those for my home! the spa was wonderful and the massage was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. I will certainly stay here again. Thank you so much for making my stay a comfortable, safe and memorable experience. See you soon! Grazie! =)
Staff were very welcoming, Mini bar was stocked and reasonable. Spa access 24/7 is great. Felt safe and secure. Very nice shower and products. Rooftop is nice for cockatils.
Very good
Staff and service were fantastic. Our room with the sauna was amazing. Highly reccomend ans would come back.
The hotel is situated out of Rome, so you have to take taxis or the tram to get into the centre. Also, there are very limited places to eat in and around the hotel. The hotel bar doesn't open until 5.30 pm, so you are unable to get a drink to sit and relax at the hotel. It would have been nice if the spa was included in the stay and not an additional cost.
We loved staying at Trilussa, staff was amazing and helpful and our room was spotless. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet was always cold because the lids were never over the food. Which I believe is also how we probably contracted the flu during our stay. The spa was also wonderful, until we realized we had developed athletes foot.
The building is quite old and the hallways smell as such. Also, the amenities provided are low quality for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, not having a proper hair shampoo and conditioner besides a body wash is part of the minimum that would be expected, instead they just provide liquid soap.
Quick walk to Trastevere
I have stayed here 3 separate times. Quick walk to the center of Trastevere. Nice a clean.
Very good and cleaning
Always a great stay! Friendly stuff willing to halp with all your need!
Very clean and comfortable , great staff and in walking distance of the’sights’ and restaurants.
The housekeeping was great, front desk was great! That’s all I interacted with. Great place!
Customer service sets apart a hotel, it can make the shine or fail. In this case since we walked into the lobby, it was a great experience. We were welcomed and taken care of by an amazing team. If you want a great service, this is a place to go.
Nice stay
Staff is feiendly.public bathrooms and our room needed to be deep-cleaned. Expensive for the location and amenities.
Nice staff, renovated hotel, safe location and dog friendly
Nice place in good location
I think i have a champagne as part of the vip service that i never received. For the rest the stay was wonderful.
The hotel was classic with some modern touches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Valerie for your help and kindness.
Trilussa Palace was fantastic!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trilussa Palace! The hotel lobby has a very inviting feeling. The staff we interacted with were very helpful and pleasant. Our bedroom and bath were clean and we were very impressed with our dinner on the roof deck. I never made it down for breakfast but my 20 year old daughter thought the breakfast options were nice - "very European".
Great place to stay. In Trastevere but not as many tourists. Great terrace with views, rooms are great - have options for rooms close by for family, etc. Breakfast good (said the have a bio garden but was not available to see ) with additional options in vicinity. Stefano's Gelateria a block away. Sunday flea market across the street. Can book transportation. Would go back.
Staff is excellent. Terrace with views, was delightful. Rooms were great. Location in Trastevere good, as close, walkable but not heavily touristed. Sunday flea market across the street. Stefano's excellent gelateria with big cone outside, about a block away.
Kindness of sraff
Nice room for a night. Near many points of interest within walking distance.
Particularly helpful staff. Very clean.
The hotel was nice and well managed.
Excellent friendly service and clean and comfortable facilities
Great location. Walkable area felt safe. Near transportation. Front desk very helpful in every way, they were great. Hotel clean, with exceptional breakfast. Did not have time to use the spa. Rooftop terrace was very nice. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.
Cooperative staff
Had a great experience and would definitely come back.
Very good
We had an unforgettable experience during our stay at Trilussa! The staff was beyond amazing—welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was delicious- loved the cappuccino machine! One of the highlights of our trip was visiting one of the spa rooms. It was amazing and a much-needed relaxation after days of sightseeing. We can't recommend it enough and look forward to returning on our next visit!
Spa is must try at this hotel . Very awsome, private and beautiful. Hotel rooftop is cute and great food. Our room was small but very clean and neat. Close to everything . Walkable distance to bunch of restaurants. Free parking in front of hotel.
The staff & service are excellent. Our room was small, but very functional. The bathroom was dated and really tight, especially - shower cabin, but clean. Oh, breakfasts were incredibly good and tasty! Overall, we got very good experience. Thank you, Trilussa Palace Wellness & Spa!
The hotel was very nice with a great rooftop bar and restaurant. Great views! Excellent food! Hotel staff were exemplary: very helpful and accommodating. Clean sheets and towels every day without having to ask. The only “negative” is that it’s a bit removed from City Center (about 3 miles) so we had to take taxis that cost about 20 euros each way.
Extremely friendly staff. They checked us in early me made us feel comfortable. It is located walking distance to everything. Be prepared to walk. Parking is available for a fee and it is pretty tight, so make use you have a small car. It does get loud outside, if you are facing the Main Street.
Felt safe to walk around the area.
Breakfast superb
Great staff! We stayed for almost two weeks and enjoyed our stay.
Unfriendly staff, restricted spa use, bad locale
There are few positives about this place. The rooms are basic but pleasant. The gym is decently equipped although the elliptical is about to fall apart—it has an iPod dock, to give you a sense of its age. There are many negatives. Firstly, the staff (with one or two exceptions) are cold, rude, and lazy. Hospitality was not a good career choice for them. The hotel is discriminatory against solo travelers. Despite the name, there is no communal spa and the spa rooms for private hire (at over €100/hr) are only priced for couples, with an additional charge per person after that. Thus, their explicit policy is that solo travelers pay double the per person rate. The location is not good. It’s a dull, ugly area, at least 15 long minutes walking to the nice part of Trastavere. And they pay no attention to the details. You have to ask for them to refill the toilet paper; the pillows (which they advertise as a strength) are so gigantic that they give you horrible neck cramps; there are no robes or slippers in the room; etc.
The staff at the hotel were very responsive to all requests both pre and during our stay. We would gladly stay there in the future!
Rooms need re modelling. Old and tired and a bit knocked around. Good air conditioning. Although very clean and staff very helpful. Staff provided good map and transport information and ordering taxis. Easily catch the bus into Roma central or colosseum outside the front door. Trastevere eating area is a good 2km walk away which is a little far at the end of a long day sight seeing. A couple of cafes for breakfast and coffee across the road or within 10 minute walk. Roof top view is only of apartment buildings. Didn’t eat at hotel so cannot comment.
Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, close to all the main tourist spots, great continental breakfast.
Nice but not like Ancient Rome
Trulissa staff was the most helpful staff I have experienced at a hotel. Very friendly and willing to support with any questions and support we needed during our first trip to Rome.
Great service by a very responsive staff, very clean and comfortable room. Near the train and a lot of landmarks where you can walk to, would absolutely recommend for a stay in Rome.
Delightful
Lovely place with very lovely people! The view from the rooftop restaurant was lovely and all of the city is so walkable! Would most certainly stay here again
I enjoyed my stay! Not one complaint.
the room was big for me and my two kids. Happy for the stay there
Old style hotel with friendly staff
The rooms are very poorly soundproofed, especially the small ones on the ground floor. Our room had a strange smoke smell as well. The staff tried to help but could not do much as the hotel was full.
Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff!
Proximity to Trastevere dining & sights, great transport options - 10 mins to CBD, staff were very helpful & friendly, facilities are fantastic (the gym is the best hotel gym I’ve come across). A little tired here and there but no biggie.
Close enough to Rome to not be far, but far away enough for the area to be quiet and not crowded.
The hotel was very nice, a little far from the train station and shops but the tram was convenient. The staff were friendly. The rooftop terrace was great. The restaurant was good but expensive.
Excellent deal for the money. Wonderful staff and facilities. Will go again on next vacation.
I thought the property was very pricey for the quality of the hotel not really that great but the staffs are very excellent. Very helpful.
Convenient location with mass transportation. Walking distance to great restaurants. Unfortunately, neighborhoods seems to have problems with graffiti.
Staff was excellent. Caroline, Valerie and Andrea were very helpful and accommodating. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant.Hotel is clean, in a great location and has a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Thank you for a great stay.
It was ok. We booked this hotel because it had a spa, my wife has a spinal problem and usually swims everyday, nowhere does it say that it costs 98 euros per hour. Also thdcroif terrace dose not open until 17:30 so there is no outside space until then
Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The private spa time was well worth carving out time for.
Overall the hotel was great with a very good breakfast. However, it was a little far from the city center, and very quiet in the evening. The tram to city center leaves right in front of the hotel so that was convenient. There were not a whole lot of food options nearby but still few good options. We gave 4 star only because it felt u safe to walk around in the evening (even the store clerk at nearby shopping mentioned that to us). Good folks working at the hotel.
I had walked by this hotel a number times and finally stayed for a work trip. I will definitely return! The staff were very kind and the room was exceptional! It’s located in the center of Trastevere giving you access to many shops and restaurants as well as the train station. Be sure to book and stay on Sunday to visit one of Rome’s best markets.
The property itself is nice and the hotel was clean. There is Japanese restaurant within couple steps of the hotel and they serve really really good food. There is a tram running from right outside the hotel which makes the commute extremely feasible but this hotel itself looks like to be in a shady area.
Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Well located in Trastevere, walking distance to most places.
Wonderful stay!
We had a lovely stay. The staff are very helpful. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The restaurant on the rooftop was wonderful as well. We will be back!!
Compared to the previous 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at, I would consider this more of a 3 star.
The hotel is well located- its a 40 min walk to the Coliseum and like 5 min in tram. The staff is incredible - always going above and beyond. Will come back for sure
Property definitely needs updates and rooms need better cleaning but aside from it’s located in a good location with plenty of dining options within walking distance. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay as excellent as possible. I would stay here again.
Good Evening: This hotel is so well worth it! It deserves an 11 out of 10. This property’s staff was amazing especially in my husband’s and my predicament. I broke my leg while getting on Trenitalia from Naples to Rome. It was the last leg of our trip. The Female Manager on duty on 4/27/24 and front desk attendant, Andrea, Hotel Worker from Colombia, Alejandro, the Colombian delivery man and the gentleman at the desk in the evening on 4/28/24 were beyond excellent. They were real, authentic, kind, good, and compassionate human beings as we tried to solve all of the huge issues we were having trying to get us back home to NYC with my broken leg in a strait legged cast. They assisted with finding a lot of items we needed from the pharmacy and medical supply store since the city hospital could not provide anything for me to be discharged, which included crutches, wheelchair, etc… my husband had to purchase and bring everything to the hospital. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed with a very nice balcony for my husband that he enjoyed. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good-The area “Travastere” is safe and great! Unfortunately due to my leg, I could not go to the famous Open Market across the street on Sunday. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors! I made it home. Thanks again. 😊🇮🇹👍💕 Regards from NYC-New York (USA), Diane & Joey
Great location, centrally located to the Vatican City, the Colosseum and many other area attractions. Restaurants in the Trastevere area are wonderful. The rooms are small and the airflow in the room was minimal leaving us a bit hotter than desired at night. The corner shower was small for any hotel shower but, sufficed and was clean. Overall, a great launchpad for two days in Rome. I would recommend this hotel for couples traveling without kids. We did not utilize the spa or other niceties during our stay but they did look very nice.
The staff were excellent, the stay was amazing
Love this place!
The spa is amazing! Staff is very helpful. Couldn’t consistently operate the room’s air conditioning.
We stayed in 116 which is a doubke connecting room with a private terrace balcony. Two rooms with ensuite. Kids had nintendo to play with. Maybe, could do with couple more games but even so, no complaints. Safe and quiet neighbourhood with good transport link. Its not near City centre which is exactly what I wanted. As family of four, we traveled in Taxi. Vatican was around €12 and colosseum was about the same. City Centre by taxi is €10. There, all costs done. Good food joints nearby. Dont miss unicone gelatos nearby. Japanese food neatby is very good. Roadhouse across has nice steaks and burgers. QQ ramens and pizzaria also close by. Hotel has good breakfast. Wife is vegetarian but she was okay with pancakes, croissants, beans, rice(yes, rice). I dont eat red meat so was onto eggs. Good coffee. Hotel staff couldnt be any better. So polite and prompt at service. All smiles and pleasant greetings. It takes two to have that respect, btw. Will plan again to visit Rome and have decided to stay here again.
Great Staff and friendly service!
The Hitel has a good location and the staff is super helpful and friendly . Loved the cool free water in the lobby. The sink of the Bathroom in room 314 kept Flooding but the staff would come up quickly and temporarily fix it very fast every time.
Great stay
Easy to find - easy to get around from. Staff were amazing, could't help enough especially Carolina.
Decent hotel, not a 4 star in my opinion. Probably 3 to 3.5. Very good food selection though for breakfast.
Staff was great and helpful the area is perfect close to dining opotions. The hotel is beautiful clean and has a rooftop sitting area. Will definitely go back!
I loved this hotel. The staff were extremely nice and it was easy to catch the tram right out front. The restaurant and bar were excellent and the breakfast was huge! Only slight negative was how firm the beds were. My mom and I were both uncomfortable.
The hotel has a good location, but it does not have a park
The hotel was very clean, the staff was exceptional, and the rooms were luxurious.
I really liked the friendliness of the staff, especially Carolina - she was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a really pleasant experience for me and my family. Best regards Konstantin
Very good place, I really like it!
Amazing clean property
Some 5*, some just OK, some not so good
We chose the Trilussa because it was in a convenient location for our plans in Rome, and on a direct line via the 75 bus from Roma Termini. The pictures suggest this is an upscale hotel: perhaps many the rooms relfect that: ours did not. First: as Gold Level Expedia members we were supposed to be given a bottle of wine on registering: had to ask for that an after a very long travel day, we'd been looking forward to feet up, glass of wine. The wine was produced - but no glasses. So we asked for those & were told it would have to be brought to our room. OK. We also asked if the room upgrade was available. This caused a long conversation at the desk. Finally we were offered ground floor Room 103. A family room. Dark, and not in great condition. Tired, we simply accepted it. All in all, felt very grudgingly provided. Don't offer what you don't want to provide. Will say that the common rooms are lovely, the location is excellent, and other than the hiccough at the beginning, the staff was quite nice. We asked about the roof top deck with views of the city (prominant in their ad) but were told it's closed during winter months. The desk clerk offered to have a staffer open it so we could see the deck: we accepted. What a pity they keep it closed in nice weather (and it was beautiful weather mid-Dec, would have LOVED to take our wine up there or have cocktails end of the day. The view is truly spectacular. Again, perhaps many rooms are updated, nice: ours was not. One night? OK.
I love the tree different spa options and services
The location for the hotel is centeral, yoy can walk or take transportations. it is very clean and updated, the room is great and very comfortable bed, nice shower and it is a great place over all. The front desk people are simply amazing, they are very welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely stay there in the future and we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for your great service.
This hotel was conveniently located next to a tram stop and plenty of bus stops. The area has great bars, grocery stores, gelato, and restaurants. We visited the rooftop bar twice and the drinks were delicious and the view was amazing. Our room was much larger than anything we could have gotten if we were more in the heart of Rome. The bathroom was a great size besides the shower. It is not American sized, but we didn't mind. We were supposed to receive a bottle of champagne for being a expedia silver member but we didn't receive it. We also didn't notify anyone since we didn't feel like going out of our way for it. We didn't book any of the private spas available but they did look like a fun option. I booked this hotel because I thought the spa was included but it's separate and can only be used by one party at a time. Overall the staff was friendly, our room was clean and the location was great.
When choosing a hotel room on Expedia I want to open window or balcony to get fresh air. Thats why I chose this hotel. Most rooms only have air conditioner and I have noticed that I often feel bad in such rooms. Very good food and service.
The rooftop restaurant was well worth a visit, with good food and cocktails. The room was clean and comfortable with reasonably priced mini bar. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly, helpful and informative. A very good hotel.
Great property. Stayed with the family. We loved the breakfast! Didn’t visit the spa but looked fabulous. Fun flea market out front on Sundays. Short walk to train station and to most all the sites. Would stay again. Thank you for a great stay!
Nice and clean, good sized bathroom
Amazing, great customer service. Perfect location.
Nice hotel near "old" Trastevere and in front of Porta Portese Sunday market. Very nice and professional hosts. Clean, comfortable.
Great location and very accommodating staff. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in the area
Visiting Matthew @School
Stefano created us and was so warm and welcoming. We felt at home immediately! Everything in the room was very comfortable. The pillows and the bed were perfect. Even though we were facing the street it was quiet. The bathroom was big enough and nicely appointed. The shower was interesting and once I figured it out was quite nice. Public transportation was very convenient. Directly across the street
I enjoyed the room and quiet of the area. The rooftop is amazing but very slow service.

One night in Rome
My wife and only came for 1 night but everything from check in until check out was great. The hotel was clean, everyone spoke English, the room was larger than most Italian hotels and they have a nice spa. They do have on-site parking for a fee.
