Great stay but room was small for us with 4 bags. No place to hang clothes or put away, no dresser. Overall good for the price we paid.
Good place to rest, near the city and the airport
Good hotel ,plesent stayed 👌
It was a good stay if you are looking to save money. The subway is 11 minute walk and there a lot of small markets ans stores near by. The rooms are small, no coffee maker, closets or anything just the bed a lillte desk and a small Tv. Rreakfast is not worth adding at the hotel. Its very basic juat eggs and bacon and some fruits. I stayed 9 daus and the breakfast was the same and they don't pay attention if the food is gone they take a while to get to it. There is some good food just a fewminutes away in walking distant like 5 minute walk. Good food and cheaper than the hotel. There is alzo an amaxing coffee place near by that is called Al horno is great quality pastrys and cofcee. Nice and cozy.
This was a terrible experience hotel is really far away even from anything and everything even the taxis and uber didn’t fund the place. You have to pay for wifi and the hair dryer is not in the bathroom you have to go to the lobby , give a 10$ security deposit and then bring it back down when you are done. I travel a lot and i had never seen this crazy thing before.
Front desk staff was really great and very helpful and accommodating
Muy bien el lugar y muy limpio buena ubicación para el metro para cualquier lugar
Sorry but I think with the price I could have chosen more options. I didn't check that while booking with the Expedia we don't have any free internet in the room but have to pay 3.95 EUR per day. No hotel takes 10 EUR as a deposit for using a kettle as it is always included. The hotel was very far from any transportation area. The person who came for cleaning was very rude. He did not clean the bedsheet because there was only a bag there. She could just move the bag and clean the bedsheet.
Good Value
Very Clean and surprisingly confortable beds. 24 food service , limited options but it was very convenient as we arrived late . Very nice staff. A great experience for a short stay.
Me only stay one night but we didn’t find much around. Staff very nice
It’s a clean nice hotel but all the staff are so cranky (the 3 we saw). says there is free wifi which is not the case it’s only in lobby if you want wifi in your room you need to pay for it. I’ve stayed in a hundred hotels all over the world and never had this and didn’t like that. Also refused to try and store bags when waiting for flight only asked for 4 hour of storage and was willing to pay.
Good value
Modern, clean with standard amenities. Friendly and helpful bilingual desk staff. Conveniently close to metro station.
It was very helpful that the employees at the front desk spoke English, and we appreciated that the rooms were clean and the bathroom was large. The hallways are rathet narrow, but that's not a problem. We also liked that the subway was about a 15-minute walk, not a problem at all, but there is a pretty steep walk up the hill from the hotel, for about three blocks, to get to this the commercial street. However, that commercial street has quite a few relatively inexpensive places to eat, and they are less expensive than in the more central tourist areas. We enjoyed staying in this neighborhood. For the price, however, it was disappointing that you have to pay an extra 10 euros for breakfast.
breakfast cold , access to the rooms it's 3:00pm and not flexible
The main reason for my response is that their services are practically non-existent. I thought they were from the American Travelodge chain and I am used to a minimal level of service. For starters, despite being prepaid for the night I slept at the hotel, they sent me an email saying that check in had to be before 12 pm. This stressed me out because I was coming on a train from the south of Spain and it was delayed, plus there was a downpour of rain that did not allow us to get to the hotel by Uber so quickly. After checking in, we went up to the room and tried to connect to the wifi and the page told us that we would be charged for this service (which was not indicated in the reservation) and when I asked why they charged me they told me that because the reservation had been made through Expedia. Likewise, when I asked for a dryer I was told that I had to leave 10 euros. I asked to borrow a bathroom scale and they didn't have one. All in all a very bad experience!
I will await a refund for denial of access due to a compromised credit card. Guest stayed at a wonderful AirBnB instead without issue and with more perks.
Service very good, new and clean. Let down by poor wifi connections. Staff really tried to help with any issue
Great pricing, wonderful staff
Exactly what I was looking for
nnnnnn
Good price and adequate hotel. Clean, decent sized rooms, great service. Walking to the nearest bus / metro stop is about 10 min, half of it uphill, so it can be a bit inconvenient. There was no mini fridge at the room and some things were a bit scarce (inc. towels and toilet paper). All in all, a decent experience
An excellent stay in an area of the city which is less well known, but has plenty of dining options and has a metro line which takes you right into the centre in 15-20 minutes.
Great hotel. Good service.
Surprised about the staff and how clean it was. Internet and breakfast is not included and you would have to pay 10 euros per person for breakfast and 11 euros for wifi (3 days, cheaper if you just pick one day) 10-15 min walk from the metro, which in the Madrid summer heart could be very tiring for some
The hotel was up to date. The staff were kind, but not very helpful. The communication on extras, including how the parking worked, needs to be improved.
Solid hotel
Solid 2 star hotel. Cafe and breakfast area open plenty of times. No free Wi-Fi in rooms but available in common areas.
I loved the bed
The room itself was fine, relatively clean and comfortable bed. The weekend rates are way out of line for the room, weekday rates are reasonable for the accommodations. Would recommend for a weekday, for the weekend rates I would look for something else. Helpful and friendly staff.
Good stay if you’re not hungry
Breakfast was not worth the money as food wasn’t hot at all
Nice and affordable hotel in a conveniently located community with plenty of shopping and dining options
Very basic
Clean simple hotel! Walking distance from Metro. If you have big luggage use uber or taxi instead ( steep hill).
Excellent staff and attention, great for parking in the street for free and excellent breakfast buffet and personal. Highly recommended Hotel, Thanks
Good
Cleanliness
Recently remodeled.
It is like a Hostel with bathroom, no free Wi-Fi, no good for the money.
Was good for our short stay. No refrigaretor
Quiet ,good dining experience and walkable.
Everything was excellent. I have been here several times and my criteria is the same. The new renovation of the lobby area and cafteria was great
Lovely stay.
Nice hotel, quiet at night, easy to get metro into city centre, friendly staff and cheap.
Buen trato. El cuarto de buen tamaño y limpio. Facil de llegar y cerca del aeropuerto. Lo recomiendo.
Madrid 2023
Trip to Madrid outstanding, 100% worth a visit. Lots of culture, history and architecture. The hotel however was approximately 60 minutes from the airport on the amazing Madrid metro, and after a day of travelling, next time I will pick something close to city centre.
What I didn’t like, - closet too small - no safe box
The hotel was located in a quite area. But it was a litte bit inconvenient to get to subway.
Typical hotel for this chain
It is a very basic hotel, but is clean and well maintained. I've stayed at hotels from the same chain in Barcelona and Valencia, also and the rooms are the same. For short stays is excellent. The only downside of this hotel is the transports aren't very close and there are some steep streets around.
Property is good. It lacks amenities that other hotels have. Staff was great and very helpful.
Very clean and hygenic. Very impressed with the room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was reasonable. Would go again.
Excellent staff, super quiet place, super clean.
Is a very good hotel, really clean and with a great staff.
Great location and comfortable premises.
The hotel is located conveniently near to the metro station Ciudad. The rooms are clean and got everyday cleaning. The staff are friendly and the location is quite but in a good neighborhood.
Excellent
Just the same as Travelodge UK. Value for money. Convenient for amenities restaurants etc. Staff were amazing. Particular mention for Sergio. Thank you.
It is a hotel in an industrial area. No food,no transportation. You have to take a taxi which costs 25 $ each way.
No phone in the room. vanity drain cap stuck.
Buffet breakfast was very affordable.
Close to metro, easy transportation to and from the airport, quite neighborhood
Steep decline to get to the property from the main street. Those traveling on public transportation with limited mobility may want to reconsider. Hotel offers minimal items in the room. Need to put a €10 deposit for a hair dyer. It is Ok for a very short stay.
It was ok.
The property was good for a 5-day stay, although the facilities were basic (more so than in the UK) and the hotel was quite far away from the centre of Madrid, although this is reflected in the lower price and lower noise levels, plus the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you
Excellent location. Nice staff.
Good location with easy access to dining and shopping as well as mass transit , metro and buses. Completely satisfied.
Good property little so far from airport it’s not good
Very clean. All the Staff very polite and trying to help me all the time. Quick check-in and out. Good location for different purposes in the city
Staff was so helpful and kind. Got in early to leave our bags until check-in and they were able to give us our room early which was helpful considering how exhausted we were.
Wifi was paid in the rooms. Other than that, excelent
Clean, comfortable hotel. Close proximity to airport. The neighborhood had many food options and convenient access to the metro line. The hotel staff were helpful. We enjoyed staying here and would choose this hotel again.
Es un hotel limpio y muy decente para el precio, la ubicación para turismo no es la mas conveniente.
I stayed at this location for 3 nights and I would say it was a bit disappointing as I paid and requested for a queen bed but I was given twin bed. The soap dispenser wasn’t working in the room and I reported it to two separate people at the reception and they said they will get room service to fix it but it wasn’t fixed. All they did was apologised and gave me some cheap quality soap which broke into small pieces when you scrub it on your body.
.
Very good all.
Nice hotel
Good hotel in good budget and very good breakfast
Joke not a hotel
This is not a hotel. Middle of the summer and no fridge in the room. Asked for ice in the reception, not available. Also no iron in the room, you have to ask from reception and pay 10 euro deposit. Overal was not bad, however for the money paid offered not too much. I would not recommend it.
Need to provide basic stuff for free, as wifi
Staff was rude on check-in. There's no wi-fi in the room, unless you pay extra for it - no joke.
An average hotel, but nothing exceptional.
I had some time to kill in Madrid as I arrived from South America. So in a sense I was using this hotel to be in quarantine as my next destination was the UK. The area around this hotel is being revamped and has a few cafe's and gyms nearby as well as a wonderful Mercadona and Lidl. My room was a good size with plenty of light. however the bed wasn't so comfortable. The staff were all excellent and quite well trained in this hospitality industry and work long hours. They were always helpful, spoke excellent english and made up for this hotel's lack of facilities. The cleaning lady was excellent going about her duties. Security for this hotel is very good and the neighbourhood although run down and in the process of being renewed ,is more in a commercial area, used car show rooms etc. A small walk from the nearest tube #5 green line at Ciudad Leal. Fast food shops along the way, but Mercadona supermarket best place in thye area.. The hotel a bit flimsy in construction, but seemed new enough to pass and smelt fresh. Soundproofing not very good., but generally a quiet location.
It was ok..... in all honesty I think the price of $200 For a Saturday night was excessive
I think it's not fair that you have to pay to join wifi in the premise, there are other hotel with the same prices even cheaper than and the offer free wifi connection.
Fine for 1 night
Check-in was quick and easy, room was what we needed for the one night. There was a lot of noise from other guests slamming doors during the night. Also there was a stain on the toilet seat which I was able to clean off with tissue and hot water...
Bel hôtel
Propre, tranquille et coquet.
Clean and friendly. Want more??Pay more
Excellent place to stay in Madrid. Initially I stayed there and the room seemed undersized, However this second time a bigger room was given and it was much better. The only thing preventing me from giving excellent amenities is the lack of free Internet in the room. There should not be any hotel in the world without that, when one pay for a hotel, one pay for: A good bed, a good bathroom with hot water and Internet. Remove the TV service if you want but not internet please.
Happy vacationer
Great clean fresh room, well kept hotel and extraordinary staff!!!
Clean, good quality property. Would have been better closer to Madrid centre as travel wasn’t the easiest
Nice hotel.
Very nice hotel. PLEASANT STAFF.
Ive stayed at many travelodges and i have to say this wasnt a good experience. Will not stay at this place on my next visit
It is located in a commercial area, not very pleasant to be in.
Safeness and infrastructure were great. Very good breakfasts.
Great place on budget next to airport. Very clean room and large bathroom. Will be back and can recommend. Loved the fact I was able to check in at 2am.
I liked the location, friendly reception, waitresses enthusiastic attitude. Overall very pleased
Ideal hotel for what we needed. 10 min car journey from Madrid centre. Clean hotel , drinks not to dear didn't have food as we checked out at 4.30 am
Was a nice place to stay beds are comfy. Close 3niugh to airport for our over night stay.
Great
Excellent
Great hotel! Spent one night. I did not try all the services.
The man at the front desk was rude guessed if we lived there asking for passports and i have been living in Spain for almost 2 years he assumed since i didn't speak spanish i did not live here, and also our room for 3 only had 1 towel to bathe with and when reqyested towels we were giving towels to dry our hands of with and not face and bath towels.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. It has a parking and there is also free parking on the street. Close to the metro and restaurants and shops. Down town is accessible easily.
