Hello, Please Read this carefully. I am a frequent traveler. I have been to this hotel in the year 2023 it was never this bad. 1. The rooms were dirty and bad odour. 2. The carpet smells bad. 3. The blankets and beds smell bad. 4. We tried using the microwave it didn't work properly. Overall i had a bad experience.

Great place to stay

We have stayed at thhe Travel Lodge on numerous occasions. Its a great price, close to ammentities and easy to find.

We often stay here for a quick overnight or two. We have a dog and find it very pet friendly. Nothing fancy but always a comfortable stay and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Good size rooms. Happy staff.

Overcharging the customer, treating them poorly and pretending to solve the problem isn’t good to any business

It was nice

First impression was off. Walked in to a long term customer that apparently lives there screaming and swearing on the phone to police, scaring my child. The front desk guy was amazing and quick to take care of it. Then we went to our room and the door wouldn’t open, but the guy saw us on camera and raced to us and give us a different room. Room had a heater. It was freezing, but the front desk guy saved the day again and fixed it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs were terrible, the waffles and sausages decent. Probably wouldnt stay there again, but honestly not a bad hotel, as long as they keep the guy who was on friday night. Customer aervice saves this place

The room was very spacious and clean...only disappointed that the room was chilly but understandable because heat wasn't turned on

Room smelled like wet dog

1.The large pictures on the wall had somethibg dried and dripping on the front of them.... like someone spit on them and it hsd never been cleaned up.... very gross. 2. We booked specifying we needed a pet room... as the reason for our trip was to have our puppy spayed near the rescue she was adopted from. When we attempted to do online pre-registration tge day before our trip.... the form said there were no pets allowed and we would get a large fine for bringing any pets!!! This caused us great stress.... and we had to phone the hotel to verify that we indeed DID have a pet room booked. The form should have correct information. We had to opt out of online sign-in due to the fact we could not sugn a form that would make us liable gor a fine.

Nice places

Breakfast was gross Booked a king bed, but because I had my dog, there was no king rooms available and was out in a double bed room. Front desk staff was a little pushy when filling my information

Easy and quick check in

The room was mostly clean but the rugs and chair were dirty, there was a big dog barking in the room across from ours, the hallways were dirty and smell bad, the maintenance guy was rude and the entrances to the property were not maintain full of ice

Upon my arrival, the front desk clerk was efficient but not extremely welcoming; I almost felt like I was bothering him. The condition of the hotel was more in line with an older fairly well used and somewhat poorly maintained hotel. When I got to my room, there was no heat. It was about two hours before the room was warm. I was very satisfied with the hot breakfast.

Decent place but I asked for a bathtub plug and the gent at the front desk forgot to bring it to me. Minor issue but little things like attentiveness or lack thereof make a difference.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Good clean environment just a bit noisy at times. Overall a lovely place to stay and relax. Very enjoyable!!

Good staaf nd good location

Just a quick overnight stay. Room was adequate, clean and quiet. Easy check-in even though it was 2 a.m.!

Our stay was ok. Phone in the room was not working, and reported. Heat/cold temperatures not working properly. Either we froze or it felt like a steam bath. All was reported. The young man very kind came to check and said heat would be on in about 15/20 minutes. Didn’t happen, heat came on at 2:00 in the morning. Not too impressed . My husband had to ask a different person behind the counter to make coffee and clean the breakfast area. There too busy either on their phone or tv?

The room was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant and lobby attractive. Unfortunately the carpets in room need steam cleaning, the furniture is full of scratches and the wall paper is peeling away from the wall. Rooms in need up upgrading.

Perfect stop on a road trip. Safe, clean, friendly. Very helpful staff. Actually the young man went above expectations helping us to our room.

Just a quick overnight but everything was comfortable enough.

The room is wonderful and clean, the air is fresh. It’s just a wonderful experience all in all.

I don’t suggest staying here. The first room they put my daughter and I in still had fresh dog pee on the floor and it smelled like a cats litter box. They then put us in another room because I complained but the next room wasn’t much better. Smelled like cats peed on the bed and my daughter and I were forced to sleep on one bed on top of covers. The whole place needs an overhaul. Outdated, smelly, dirty. Don’t waste your money, we were very disappointed.

Well managed Older Hotel

Check-in and check-out were easy. Accommodations were as expected and described. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was convenient and adequate for travelling.

Not recommended

Sad to see the staff with so little ressources. They were very friendly, but just couldn't give the basics expected in a hotel. No room seevice, no available towels (literally not enough for all the rooms), rooms were dirty when we arrived, even hard to get some extra shampoo and no conditioner available. Limited breakfast... we had to ask for refills for everything (we had a 3 nights stay!!!) Sad to see owners not taking being in business seriously. Again, staff was very friendly and trying to help, but they just didn't have thr resources.

Beds were hard, white towel's in bathroom were anything but white. Old carpet by the door looks like it is hiding the floor.

The tv guide was missing had to send my kid down to get a paper copy there were stuff on the wall by the fridge and one of the knobs was missing on the tv stand and not sure but last time there was a bible in the drawer and that wasn’t there

We had a great stay in this hotel! It's clean and peaceful. We enjoyed our free breakfast and the fact that our room and the washroom is clean and have enough supplies. This hotel is worth the price and perfect for an overnight or few days stay. We had a comfortable experience overall.

So dirty! No pillows, other peoples hair on the towels. Totally disgusting!

The room was spacious and clean, great value for the price of our trip. The breakfast area needed tidying as groups finished, and the carpet could be replaced with solid surface flooring, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Clean place , comfortable with warm breakfast

I had the pleasure of being treated to a 8 hour parking lot party by a couple of patrons who loved 90’s rap. 8 hours, in the parking lot. System cranked. The hallway I was in (100s) either smelled of heavy perfume or garbage. I found out on the other side of the rooms is where the garbage was stored. 4 of the 7 bathroom bulbs were burnt out. No one ever came out to tell them to turn the music off, must be a regular event.

wish it had a pool. breakfast staff would willingly replenish what was needed but they never checked the supplies. you had to go to the desk and ask. the tables were also not wiped when a customer left.

Bathroom smelled of smoke. Hair was in the tub and all over the bedsheets. Mattress was very uncomfortable.

We wanted a reasonably priced room for a quick stop over. This met those expectations

They need to figure out their breakfast. Not enough food/ space for the amount of people staying there.

Not pleasant when kids are running the halls at 11 p.m. and yelling going on in the hallway at 6 a.m.

The staff are great! Always helpful and quick to fix issues. The place does need a facelift though. The amenities in the room need to be better. The little dove bar and small shampoo aren't enough. But the bed is very comfortable!

Room didn’t smell very good. Security lock on door was broken. Shower/tub was cracked in two spots. Staff was very nice.

Room and bedding smelled like smoke. The Phone was unplugged so didn't get the wake up call nor was my spouse able to call to make sure we were awake for important meeting. Meager breakfast. Can't call the hotel or leave a message because all voicemails are full. DON'T RECOMMEND!

North Bay stay

It was nice but needs some updates for looks and functioning. Handicap doors and elevator required. Nice big room. Television reception was terrible. Breakfast was good.

I frequently stay at the Travel Lodge Wyndham while visiting family in North Bay and always find the accommodations clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a place to stay that will constantly provide these values I recommend this hotel.

Great breakfast and friendlyvstaff

The property was so old, tired and in need of a refresh. It’s about 2 stars in my opinion and worth $70 not $100 a night. The attendant was behind plexiglass and the space is old dated and he wanted an extra $150 for incidentals because the reservation was made on a third party web site Expedia. There was nothing in the room that was worth $150 to be honest. There was no cups even paper but I finally found 1 in bathroom. The place has pop corn ceiling wallpaper and dirty carpet. The area below us under our window is where everyone smoked and pulled into our room by AC. Very loud kids from 10-11 slamming doors running back and forth in between rooms. St 1 am two men have a very loud discussion in hall. Not much sleep didn’t bother with breakfast. Place was yuck couldn’t wait to leave. I’d like e refund of $25 bucks to be honest. Pictures on web make it look better than it is.

I love a quiet hotel room - and this room (and hotel) was very quiet. I also appreciated being close to the beach and really enjoyed watching the sun set at Silver Beach - it was beautiful.

Good rooms. Smell little stale but twirls sheets clean. Staff friendly. Late for breakfast she want concerned. Much appreciated.

Cheap and convenient

Not a bad hotel. Room smelled a little stale and it took a while for the fridge to kick in and make the beer cold at least a day. Otherwise staff were good and bathroom was clean.

The breakfast area is way too small, and staff needed to make their guests have manners. So many rude people in the morning

I like the location

Bed was comfy, linens clean, pillows lumpy and the bathroom wreaked of urine, we tried to clean around the toilet but it must have been in the wallpaper on the wall next to the toilet, a/c unit was tripped and low battery on the wall thermostat so had a hard time to keep it on. Had to keep the bathroom door shut so the smell would not be unbearable.

Rooms were large but dated. Good place to sleep with breakfast in the am.
