Always a beautiful experience
Very nice place to stay.Family owned.Service and food was great.Ricarso at the pool bar was excellent
Did not like the doors slamming shut in the middle of the night!
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Environment was clean and tidy
This property is such a gem. Whether you stay in the rooms or the cottages, it's a comfortable, relaxing, place with great vibes.
Comfortable
This was my second stay at Travellers and I was very pleasantly surprised by how much it has improved. The rooms I stayed in ( I extended my stay) were modern with excellent amenities. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and provided impeccable service. The gym is fantastic! I’ve stayed in various hotels all over Jamaica and this is by far the best I’ve seen with lots of cardio , weights equipment and even a boxing bag! There are refillable water machines on site which is a great addition also. The beach is stunning and the hotel is situated on a pristine stretch of Negril’s seven mile beach. There were always enough sun loungers during my stay and the staff at the beach were great providing this. Areas for improvement perhaps: The restaurant has a lot of western lunch dishes: fried chicken etc, I would like a few more Jamaican options- although I’m not sure if this is more on the dinner menu. I was left with multiple bites from a bug in one of the cottages but also from the sand flies on the beach. I’m not sure if this is something the hotel can treat/ prevent in the future. Overall a wonderful stay!
Excellent stay
Great place ! No complaints!
Very friendly staff
Great
Resort charged me twice for my stay, luckily I noticed and was able to get a refund. Restaurant food was alright, service was slow and forgetful. Cleaning staff did great, cleaned the room every day
I’ve stayed here twice and both stays have been such a lovely experience. All of the staff is so kind, helpful, and fun. They are extremely clean and housekeeping exceeded my expectations every day! The beach restaurant has very good food, too!!
Beautiful layout, staff friendly!
responsive staff compact and convenient layout of rooms affordable and delicious food at restaurant more shuttle transportation opportunities, to airport and to attractions, would have been appreciated
Beautiful property. Great staff. Felt very safe as a solo traveler
Nice bedrooms that need to be updated.
Very relaxing with good food and service
Great location. Friendly staff
Lovely staff
Nver disappointed great hotel
This was our second time staying here. Love this hotel. Location is great, staff are great, the grounds are well kept and rooms are well presented. Always our firsat choice when in Negril.
Travelers has a lot going for it. It is small enough to feel comfortable but has many amenities you find only at larger resorts (restaurant, bar, nice pool, clean beach, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas) . The staff were very pleasant and capable but the bar and food servers often lacked urgency. Breakfast and lunch menu prices were reasonable and offered both Jamaican options and food that appealed to international travelers. We had a deluxe room on the second floor which had two queen beds (we reserved a king) but the room was very large, with a minifridge, coffee and nice sitting area outside overlooking the courtyard. $4 cocktails and beers were a great surprise but prices doubled if you ordered top shelf or frozen drinks. The property was well maintained but the place could use some refreshing. The beach was wide but not that deep so the chairs and umbrellas were close together but the number of guests fit the available space. The water was clear and warm and very clean (no seaweed or trash). The constant flow of vendors (weed, fruit, beads, horse riding??) was annoying but they were never pushy. This property is on the far end of the seven mile Negril beach area so it was too far to walk to reach the nicer all inclusive hotels. It is closer to Rick's Cafe (fun party vibe) and Rockethouse Restaurant (fantastic meal and outdoor dining) so there were some good off property options. If I return to Jamaica and Negril again, I would come back.
A subpar experience
Staff seems ok, dining room staff was excellent..the bedroom room was subpar, nothing compared to my previous, yearly stays. The bathroom is not quite finished, on demand ‘hot water’ is almost nonexistent.
All facilities are available however room could do with a little updating. Not all catering staff are attentive..ie servers, had to chase certain staff for service etc.. housekeeping staff were lovely. all in a pleasant stay
Staff very friendly. On site restaurant has good food at good price. Great location on beach. Main drawback is we stayed in room adjoining street. VERY LOUD. Told front desk and they relocated next day.
Great place to stay …
I loved how small and cute this property was … food was great and prices were very reasonable… Jamaican owned property which was very nice to know also
Excellent stay
The hotel itself is an excellent placement within Negril. The room was cleaned excellently every day which lovely staff accompanying. The water in the room was not continuously warm throughout the stay however, despite asking for a fix, this was not resolved. Nonetheless, this didn't dampen the trip.
Excellent value for a terrific property however wifi was not reliable
I love travellers but the room last time and this time needs some updates for the price there charging! I go here for the pool , gym and staff!
the hotel was amazing right on the beach , only problem water pressure and hot water not adequate , only two issues apart from that really amazing place to stay
Good experience
The location was perfect and very safe. Lots of outside restaurant in the area. Downtown area is walking distance about a 20 min walk. Ricks Cafe is close by 10 mm in drive. Jamwest is 30 min drive ..overall I was happy
Always amazing no complaints
Right on the beach, with an excellent restaurant
Absolutely loved that the pool was open later than 6pm. Nothing worse than doing excursions all day just to come back and cant enjoy the pool to unwind.
Decent property.
Love staying at Travellers Resort. It’s clean, quiet and the resort sits alongside the 7 miles of beautiful white sand beach. Staff is nice and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. This is my 2nd time there. Will be going back soon.
Rooms were extremely small, with many issues inside the room and patio facing a construction wall. no coffee in the lobby as advertised, no swim up bar service, waterfall on pool was broken, no music avail at pool. Had to move our lounge chairs on the beach. Beach was very narrow and large sandbags were visible along the beach.
Family run
Great experience
I had a wonderful experience. At this hotel . It exceeded my expectations, and I would be very keen ongoing again.
Beach access and bar
Well maintained property, good restaurant and bar, comfortable accommodations.
I had a great stay.
This is my second time visiting. Once in 2020 and again in 2024. This will remain my first choice for Negril. It’s on the beach (same stretch of beach for all the hotels), it’s local owned and investing in the community, staff is nice, price is great for the area. The rooms need some love but they are renovating so I anticipate that’s only going to improve. The food was not great but if you can try nearby restaurants or $30 lobster on the beach at Flag City.
My usual spot great drinks music views right on beach!
This was a clean, relaxing resort. I loved that it was right on Negril famous 7 mile beach and also easily accessible to everything. Absolutely will be back!..Ricky at the bar amazing Mimosas!!
I love staying here. It's close to town, beautiful beach, lots of walkable bars and restaurants, and just an all around great place to stay.
Travellers is a hidden gem. Great location on Seven-Mile Beach. Simple but everything was clean. They are in the process of updating things. Only complaint we had was lack of water pressure in the bathroom
This hotel was excellent. Everything was amazing. The food, the staff and the property as well as the amenities offered were above average. Fully met my expectations and was even better than the pictures.
Nice place Good staff
Welcome Home
I love Travelers. The staff is top tier and feel like my family. When they say Welcome Home they truly mean it. The food is delicious and the beach is fantastic. They have a great pool with a waterfall as well.
Everyone was pleasant and spoke upon passing
We had an amazing experience at Travellers Beach Resort while celebrating our birthday. From the moment we arrived, the property impressed us with its cleanliness and well-maintained facilities. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. They made our celebration extra special, offering thoughtful touches that truly made us feel welcome. The beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and attention to detail made this a stay we will never forget. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
Another wonderful stay @ Travelers! The hotel is beautiful but the staff is what keeps bringing us back! Everyone is so wonderful and kind, I cannot say enough great things about our stay! Thank you Travelers!
Great property and one of my favorite hotels. I would have given the property all excellents except the water pressure was poor and they didn't have a microwave in the room. There is no microwave in the lobby giving 24 hour access. The only access to a microwave is the bar and it has operating hours. And the water pressure may not be the property’s fault. I would still recommend this property as a great option.
On the web site says they have room service, however when you get they don’t have this service available. They should remove it from the website if it is not offered at the resort.
T
My second time staying here in the last 2 years it was nice all though I had several mosquitoes in my room bitting me I was scratching some nights and I had killed a few. The cottages are smaller in the inside than the regular rooms all though but everything else was nice and wonderful. Would be staying again when I travel to Jamaica.. I wish there was microwaves though that’s the only thing no microwaves in the rooms…
.
Loved it
The property is non smoking completely. Important info to know before you reserve.
Wonderful stay!
It is right on the beach
Cost effective, nice staff close to town
Ok biggest complaint was no hot water, they tried to correct it but just wasnt happening...also the AC blows right on top of you, very difficult to get room dialed in tempwise. Also, next time we wouldnt stay at a place that isnt adult onpy. Kids next door running up and down hallways in early AM, i never thought id be one of those people but well here i am..otheriwse the restaraunt in house provided great breakfast and dinners and the staff was super friendly..rooms alsways clean and overall pleased
Professional, courteous & genuinely happy staff makes a difference & it shows. Will recommend to family & friends. Will be back for more relaxing times😁
Next time I’m bringing the whole family! Wonderful staff….especially Romario, who made sure our dining experience was unforgettable. Lovely grounds. Well kept & beautiful rooms. Extremely polite staff who also were very organized. Attentive owners. Very affordable. Thanks to everyone. Nice stay!
Closest of the major hotels to the roundabout, Popeyes, etc. Only 1 km to town. Taxis galore. Very walkable to town. Friendly attentive staff. Restaurant overlooking Beach. Good food. 1Fusion next door is good too. Good music in the evenings. Steel drum band. Saxophone. Etc. On Saturday night the music was really loud, but as soon as I complained, it was quiet soon afterwards. This was around 11:00 pm. I think it was scheduled to end anyway. Not super late. Other than that real quiet at night. I wish they had a microwave but it wasn't a show-stopper. I'd still stay here again.
Beautiful spot with an amazing staff and beach. Room can or should come with a little rug or something
My BF and I enjoyed our stay at Travelers. We stayed in one of their cottages. It’s a nice one bedroom house with a small kitchen and bathroom. We stayed two nights. It’s about 10mins drive to Rick’s Cafe. Travelers beach is spectacular! From there, we did snorting and parasailing. ❤️💧I wish I could submit pictures
I had a room that sleeps 4. I told the property prior to arriving that i would be having 2 adults and a child with me and they said it would be fine. However when I got here i was asked to pay an additional US$25 which they did not inform me of in our telephone conversation.
Great!!!
This was my second stay at this property. One the first stay a week before we had a electricity problem that lasted more than 10 hours. This trip had workers doing renovation beyond 6:30 pm. I'm hopeful that it will make this a nicer place. Great staffing and food
I have stayed at Travellers and will continue to stay anytime I return to Jamaica. The hotel is comfortable and easy access to the 7 mile beach makes the stay here that much better. It’s extremely affordable and close proximity to food locations. And the drinks are amazing!!!
Great small hotel for a relaxing vacation. Hotel is accessible to beach, staff friendly, rooms nice and spacious but, do have some wear and tear. Only one restaraunt to dine at but, walking distance to other food options. Id stay here again.
👍
I like the location and private beach. The facility is going to be awesome when the refurbishment is finished.
We walked into the first room given to us to find it infested with black ants that got in our luggages. They did quickly rectify by giving us another room.
There is a little bit of construction and updating going on but it was very comfortable and felt like home ..one thing I like about this place the owners are very friendly and they speak with everyone they are not stuck up in some office acting untouchable ! Front desk day table lady is awesome and has a lot of patience victor in maintenance is a great guy !
The staff the room
proterty could use some renovation.phone missing from the rooms. flow of the water not powerful. Staff seams to be overworked. long wait to be served
Greetings love the idea that the actual owners of this establishment was not absentee. They were able to see the day-to-day running of the facility. Exceptionally quiet and rooms were clean and well kept. Unfortunately, I did not like the idea that my charges at the restaurants did not go directly to the front desk And all I had to sign the bill. While I’m on Vacation, I do not walk around the facility with Money in my pocket. I like to eat at the restaurant sign the bill and take care of it on my departure. For some weird or on explainable reason I was not. didn’t like it. This was my major disappointment. But overall I will return hopefully there will be an improvement from where we were last time.
This property was absolutely beautiful especially the pool and the greenery. The staff was friendly and professional. I love that they had a game room and a nice gym i was impressed. The room and everywhere on property was clean and neat. The beach was perfect. I didnt eat on property i only stayed one night but i highly recommend.
The best hotel in Jamaica I have been staying here for over 10 1/2 years and I will always come back and I always recommend this place stellar customer service and the best bartender in Jamaica Romeo
Recently renovated, affordable and nice
I love the room options. There are plenty accommodations to fit your specific needs.
Beautiful place with great staff!
The worse hotel In history staff was very unpleasant the phone choices was not enough phone doesn’t taste good wifi was crappy current keep on going away WiFi doesn’t work in the room I was in I had to use my own phone service I would not recommend anyone to go to Travellers and I would not return.
Great property. Nice comfortable rooms. Pool was enjoyable, the beach beautiful. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to accomodate you in every way The restaurant served delicious breakfast lunch and dinner. Absolutely no complaints about our stay
Easy Negril stay
This is a small beachfront hotel with excellent staff, food, security, parking and great location. It is close to downtown, kid friendly and also very relaxing. We come at least once a year and have always left fully relaxing. There is a small gym along with a small gift shop. No spa services.
An Unforgettable Stay at Travellers Beach Resort, Negril, Jamaica My recent stay at Travellers Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica, was an experience that I will cherish for years to come. Situated along the pristine sands of Negril's famous Seven Mile Beach, the resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment, making it a standout choice for travelers seeking both adventure and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodations at Travellers Beach Resort exemplify a harmonious blend of modern amenities and traditional Jamaican charm. My room was spacious and immaculately clean, offering a serene environment that contributed to a restful stay. The comfortable bedding and well-appointed bathroom added to the room's appeal. A thoughtful touch included a coffee maker, which enhanced my mornings. With its inviting atmosphere, the private balcony became my go-to spot for enjoying morning coffee and watching the breathtaking sunsets. The resort's amenities are designed to cater to every need of its guests. The swimming pool, complete with a swim-up bar, provided a refreshing escape from the heat and an opportunity to enjoy a variety of beverages. The on-site fitness center was well-maintained, offering a good selection of equipment for those looking to stay active. These amenities significantly contributed to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay. Dining at Travellers Beach Resort was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant o
It feels like home away from home with the bonus of the breath taking Seven mile beach.
It was great
Great hotel for the value, close to the resort area of Negril. We stayed here for a wedding that was happening at one of the nearby resorts and taxis were readily available to transport us to the resort. The restaurant onsite has great, quality menu options. The drinks and live entertainment were great, we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel rooms could use an upgrade, but the beach access is perfect if you book a stay here.
The stay was good. Jodyann was wonderful and the gate keeper knowing your name was very personal.
Excellent location and staff very helpful…will definitely recommend
We will most definitely be coming back

We had a wonderful experience at Travellers. The staff are kind and genuine. Beautiful beach, clean facilities, and we loved the small size. It was more intimate and we got to make more connections, as well as explore Negril. The resort is Jamaican-owned and family-owned, and they operate the NEET, an organization that helps educate kids and care for the environment. It’s nice to know your travel dollars are going to a good cause.
