Great hotel in a very convenient location. Would definitely stay again.

Truly boutique hotel with very stylish rooms. Booked one night there but then booked extra night because it was too cool. Very good breakfast too.

Happy travellers

Perfect location when travelling by train - a couple of minutes walk from the station. The room was so cosy, comfortable and quiet. They have a pillow menu to help you get the perfect sleep. The bedding was top quality and we probably had the best night sleep of our 3 country adventure. The man on reception was really helpful and happy to help. He booked us our 03.00 taxi to the airport and it was there. We only had two nights in Switzerland but will be back - the people are amazing, the food was fabulous and it's the cleanist place we've ever visited. A feeling of absolute safety too. Loved it! We had the junior suite - really spacious, well equipped and a huge walk-in shower. Would highly recommend.

Near station

Very central and near station. Room was ok but not very comfortable.

Great staff and onsite restaurant

The hotel is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. This property is right where you want to be if you want to shopping, yet it is also very quiet. There are so many places to eat and shop. We spent hours just walking by the river and seeing the sights. We would definitely stay here again

Quaint hotel in close proximity to shopping, restaurants & transportation.

Great staff, great location and very clean but need new pillows and some small repairs in the room. However this won’t stop us from returning next year.

great location very near train station. rooms are large and staff is helpful. restaurant has limited offerings and early check in is a hassle as they have no real luggage storage facilities (but they still keep them, to their credit). bathroom was a little institutional, but overall a neat little hotel.

Beautiful city, great location

This was a quick overnight to catch a flight home out of Zurich. We were very happy overall with this stay. Very close to the train station, very hospitable. Had I known how nice Zurich was, we may have booked an actual stay here.

Fantastic location near the train station and shopping. Easy to get around the city. Charming, classic European hotel room. Cozy down comforters and pillows. Helpful and friendly staff!

Very convenient to train station which was a huge benefit for us. Breakfast could have had more selections. Front desk very helpful. Comfortable beds and extremely hot showers which were very appreciated after long travel times.

Great location for exploring Zurich and very close to the train station.

I loved the uniquely wall papered room. The room had antique looking furniture in it. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was great. Two pairs of slippers and one robe was provided. The rooms are small but I didn't come to Zurich to stay in the hotel and I am a short lady so it was fine. Located close to main train station and within walking distance to various Christmas markets.

Nice but tiny boutique hotel. Extremely small room and tiny bathroom. Strong on local charm but low on amenities. Beds vary vastly (we traveled with friends-theirs was very different). Staff was very nice. Very close to train station.

Lovely visit, would liked to stayed longer

Lovely hotel in the centre of everything!

Really charming hotel in the middle of everything in Zurich and two minutes from the main train station. Very welcoming, that young man who checked us in was brilliant. Very comfy stay. Will be back.

Short happy holiday

Room.was small but warm and cozy. However, it was a bit noisy from workers at ground floor in the morning.

Great hotel! Convenient to train station and old town. Room was very comfortable, but warm, thank goodness for windows that open! Breakfast was expensive and minimal. Very unlike most European hotel breakfasts we have experienced in the past.

The Townhouse Boutique is adorable and close to the train station. I’d say the breakfast is over priced though.

Florencia at the front desk was charming, welcoming, and accommodating. The location of the property is convenient. The property is clean and comfortable.

VIP access has no benefit even as a VIP. Toiletries hand cream dont replenish

Hotel on Main Street of Zurich right between old town and new. Also a 3 minute walk to train station which was perfect Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice but not alot of selection Nice place to stay

Hotel is in a great location. It is a short walk from the train station and also a short walk to the water.

We stayed two nights, and it was just what we needed. Close to everything, small but comfortable, and attached coffee shop with great espresso drinks. We slept with the window open and it was a bit noisy until 11pm or so and then Zurich becomes a quiet city. They kindly kept our bags for us as we arrived well before check in time. Lovely place, great location!

Great to be close to the main train station

Very close to the train station for easy travel. We had our room overlooking the street and it was very noisy. There is no AC or fan, so you need the window open for ventilation. Bring ear plugs & eye mask.

The hotel is in a convenient location

Great location! Very close to Zurich HB. A lot of dining options around the area. No air conditioning so you can hear noise from people and vehicles outside when the windows are open. Room that we stayed in is a little outdated but the pillows and the bed were comfortable. They clean the room everyday unless you notify them not to. Overall, I would recommend this hotel mainly for convenience because it is close to everything.

Without AC the room is hot at this season

A really good hotel in an excellent location with hard working, friendly staff. As you'd expect from a boutique hotel, it has a very different, more homely feel to a traditional chain. Not cheap but worth it.

Location was great. A few minute walk from the main train station.

It was lovely and the perfect location. We were on the 1st floor with no air conditioner or balcony. Others in the same hotel has AC.

Small boutique hotel. Only 5 minutes walk to the railway station. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful.

Charming Room

We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was quite large and quite charming, a mix of the modern bathroom and antique furniture and wall covering. The bed was plush very comfortable was quiet. The kitchenette area included microwaves, refrigerator, and hot pot. It was quite convenient to go out for takeout and eat at it in the room.

Good location, very close to Zurich HB. Room is okay. Some of the rooms are very small. We travel in a group of 10 people. It's good enough for our night sleep and go to explore Switzerland during day time.

We had a nice, one night stay. There was a mix up on our reservation, but the manager came out and helped us out and got us right into a room!! Very thankful for him.

LOCATION: Very short walk from train station and all main sites are a short walk. Many restaurants and shops close by. STAFF: Very helpful and pleasant to deal with. ROOM: We received an up grade to the 6th floor to a room with a balcony. Very nice. Room was spacious for an old town city hotel and had everything we needed for a short stay. This was our second time staying at the hotel and we would stay again.

Lovely boutique hotel steps from the bahnhof but on a quiet side street. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our room was well appointed and the bed was quite comfortable. Close to shopping and dining and walkable to all the major sights in the old town.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They shared recommendations and helped us navigate the public transportation to get to the Lindt museum. It's also walkable to the big attractions and more! Just a short walk to the river. Room was very spacious and liked the antiquey decor. It was clean and had everything we could have asked for. Great location, hotel was only a couple blocks from the train station, trams and buses. Great restaurants right outside and across the street as well. Can't hold it against the property for not having central cooling.

Very nice hotel centrally located in a perfect part of city close to the main train station. Could be noisy due to location and old age of the hotel, but still good. I will consider staying there again for sure. Great staff with 10 attitude all around.

Checkin staffed leaves the property at midnight apparently! Our flight was late and arrived after midnight. This hotel needs to send a note to their guest not checked in yet before midnight to let them know that they will have to retrieve a key in a lock box. We weren’t sure what to do. In the end we had to call a number. The person who picked was nice and helpful, but the process wasn’t right.

Small Boutique Hotel. Location was close to train station and a short walk to the river walks leading to Lake Zurich. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also ready when we arrived a little early. No air conditioning but the nights were cool in September and the windows opened. It is located on a side street with outside dining so there was some street noise in the evening and early morning with the windows open. Friendly reception upon arrival.

I found the mattress to be exceptionally hard and without proper cushioning or support. I do like a firm mattress but this was too much. Otherwise, the place was clean, with friendly and helpful staff, and good value for the price.

Awesome hotel! Great location-close to the train station and in between the popular shopping street and old town. A little noisy at night, with the bars below and across the street, but can shut the windows to help that. Coffee shop next door was convenient! Very clean and comfortable bed/pillows. Actually a full sized queen bed instead of two beds pushed together like a lot of other beds in Switzerland hotels which we loved!

Great location, excellent breakfast. Weather was very warm and no air conditioning, but there was a pedestal fan provided in the room.

Property was ideally located just a short walk away from the station but far enough away for it not to be an inconvenience. Breakfast was good, continental breakfast with great coffee which was included in our room price. The hotel is ideally located to go to the old town and the surrounding area, The staff were helpful and polite, The room was clean but note there was no air conditioning although they did give us a fan as it was extremely humid. we enjoyed our stay there.

Nice hotel very quick stay

Location: Excellent as evryrhing is within walking distance. Very close to the train station. Shopping, restaurants ans sites are an easy walk. Staff: Were very nice and helpful. Room: Relatively small but comfortable for a short stay of 1-2 days. I would atay here again for a short stay.

Great location close to train. Lots of restaurants and shops. Coop for food a block away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Received food/beverage voucher for restaurant in hotel. Safe neighbourhood. A bit noisy at night however , due up bars on the street. No A/C and fans were only marginally effective. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel last year and this August as well. They were both on a Saturday night. I got one hour of sleep last year and about three hours this August due to loud sounds of music and screaming people until about 4:00 am. Never again!!!!!

Nice experience!

We were the most taken aback by the property not having AC in the reception area and the rooms. It was scorching hot!!! There was nobody in the reception area when we arrived. There was one night we wanted to have a night cap before heading back to the room , the bar in the lobby was supposed to be still open according to hours posted on website but they told us they were closed after we sat down and looked at menu for 5 minutes. 🙄

Loved the friendly staff; the young guys on reception and the young guy at breakfast were amazing and cute. Amazing breakfast. Room was super. Had a fan which was enough for us. 2 bottles of water available when we got into the room. There is free water and apples in reception. Housekeeping wasn’t quite as great as they forgot to top up a few things.

Fantastic location by the main Zurich train station! Very walkable area and the cafe/restaurant attached to the hotel was very cost. Room was comfortable though the mattress and pillows were too soft. Overall a great stay.

Hotel was convenient near the train station but they didnt have airconditioner so we had to leave one of the windows open even though there was a fan in the room. However, there was loud noises in the middle of the night which could be heard and woke up my friend. Otherwise staff were very polite and helpful.

Townhouse Hotel is perfectly situated, walking distance from everything we wanted to get to, but quiet. The room was spacious and very comfortable. No AC but the oscillating fan helped a great deal. The bathrobes were a nice touch. So comfy I almost inquired about buying one.

Great if you hope to be near the train station, and the staff is very kind and welcoming.

The hotel is close to the train station and walkable to the main shopping center. Our room does not have AC but they did provide a fan. I just wish that they have an AC because is hot at night and could not sleep well. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall the boutique hotel is okay.

Excellent small hotel very close to everything in Zurich

Property is very outdated. No AC, only old fashion fans. Rooms are very very small. No phone to call customer service. No closet in the room. No refrigerator. Not worth the money.

Great stay

This hotel provided us with a place to recover from jet lag before jumping on the train to Lake Como. It was an easy walk to the train station even though we had 4 suitcases.

Nice for couple nights stay. Close to trains.
