It’s good

We enjoy coming to Townplace every year!

This property is truly nasty! We have stayed at Town Place by Marriott many times, and had great experiences but this one leaves a lot to be desired! The sofa bed mattress was ripped and stained badly and very uncomfortable! The linoleum in the bathroom was very warped and the whole place stunk! This property is run down and dirty! There was someone else’s hair still in the shower! We had reservations through Thursday and only ended up staying until Tuesday because it was so gross! Do better Marriott!! I have photos I wish I could download!

For price and location everything worth it we stayed for Disneyland , 4 minute drive and quiet hotel

Short walk to the Honda Center but there is also a shuttle available. Our go to spot for concerts in Anaheim.

Worst stay

The room didn't seem ready when we arrived towels in bathroom were wet and looked like they were used. Also No extra tp. The picture over the bed fell off on us in the middle of the night; desk clerk didn't even apologize!

Family Friendly

Great hotel. My family stays here every January for Supercross at Angel Stadium and it's just the perfect place to be. Within walking distance of the stadium, we always enjoy the pool, the free breakfast and the spacious room that the whole family fits into! Highly recommend and we will always come back.

Went to an event at the stadium and stayed overnight here. Easy walk to the stadium and back was so nice! Hotel staff are helpful and amazing. Will stay here again.

Wonderful experience

We had to evacuate the fires and the staff is incredible and wonderful. It’s a great place and I wish this hotel and its owners a successful future

Nice hotel

We were pleasantly surprised at how many amenities were available at this service style apartment hotel. Even though part of the bathroom is dated, it served its purpose wonderfully. David was very service-friendly when we checked in and was very helpful!

Always friendly and clean

Service was ok and friendly but rooms, furniture, lamps so dirty. Clean beds has chips crumbs under the sheets. Towel has holes, carpet has holes.

HOTEL needs upgrading and security!

Beds/Pillows were not comfortable, thankfully we got the ground floor, but right out our window we could see the homeless people coming and going all hours of the night behind the garbage dumpsters, going thru it all night. This place needs remodeling, pool was closed all of our 7 night stay, we have kids that wanted to swim! Loved the breakfast was 3 hours! We used the washing machine twice and each time it flooded the whole area and outside of the door into the work out room, Double charged us and no cash refund. Housekeeping did not understand English, so it was a hassle needing, toilet paper, even towels they never had enough clean! The first time we stayed here, it was great, this visit, was not great!

I've stay there couple times a yr. Very close to my work. It's always ok for the price. Seems some improvements are in place and plans for more are on a big poster. Several maint issues with my room this trip and they have started charging for parking though they waived it for me as i booked through 3rd party and was not informed at booking about that. Might look around before booking there next trip.

Great place to stoay

Apparently this hotel is undergoing a remodel, which is needed. The interior of the room was very dated, the couch had multiple stains, and was very old and uncomfortable. The room had an odor. The living room and bedroom A/Cs were both very noisy. The layout of the room was nice, the bed in the bedroom was comfortable, parking was decent, and there were several dining options within 100 yards of the hotel property. Hopefully the remodel is completed quickly, it should have been done several years ago, based on our room experience.

Illegal car shows both times I’ve stayed here occurring in the parking lot. Speaking with the people at the show causing all of the noise etc, it’s a weekly event. The noise goes for hours and consists of music and engines revving. Cops seem to care little that it occurs. This noise fest is large enough that there are vendors selling food out of trunks, illicit drug sale and use etc.

Everything was great!! Staff were super nice and friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here.

I stayed here from 10/10/24 - 10/13/24. First room smelled like mold and the bed was damp. Second room was better. But smelled like smoke and there was gnats everywhere. Came back from being out all day and the whole floor smelled like cigarettes. The shower curtain had blood like stains on it. The towels had a burn smell to them too. I wouldn’t stay here again and really don’t recommend this hotel.

My good to choice in Anaheim for 20+ years. Love it there.

"Dated" does not do justice to how old the rooms look and feel at this location. They are beginning a renovation soon. Would definitely suggest to find another hotel and the rate they are charging is way too much for the conditions of the rooms.

Can't say enough about the staff at check in and during my stay. Friendly & accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would definitely return.

Second time we stayed here with my family and I absolutely love it. Very quiet and lots of shopping and dining near by is very convenient. Definitely be back here again.

Went for a baseball game. Super convenient...

the A.C was loud and had to turn it off to get to sleep.i was not told tell I got there that I would be charged 15 dollars a day for parking .

Almost everything was perfect except the carpet. Smelled reeally bad of mildew/mold? U can tell carpet was very very old! Made it difficult to enjoy the stay. Odor was really bad.

Josh the front desk employee was one of the friendliest people I have met in the customer service industry in a long time. It was a pleasure. Perfect location for Angels game and 20 minutes to Disneyland. The hotel itself shows a little wear and tear but should not stop you. Breakfast is included.

The location was perfect! We could walk to the stadium and other places. Breakfast was awesome!

The hotel was very convenient to the Angels Stadium which was why I was there.

Housekeeping? Never heard of it!

Check-in was complicated as they initially did not have the accessible room that was reserved. Concierge asked whether we wanted daily housekeeping. We stated we did, but no cleaning was ever done during our three night stay. We even called housekeeping one morning, but they did nothing, not even a towel exchange. Concierge on check out did not even ask about our stay.

Smelly rooms - mildew

Very close to the Angels stadium. Major issue was the crazy amount of dampness in the room. It had the strongest smell of mildew. It was so bad we left early to go to the airport. I wouldn’t stay there until they figure it out. I’m sick thinks about it.

Nice place to stay as what I wanted, the only thing is no sponge to wash the dishes. But great overall. Will come back again.

TownPlace Marriott

My aunt & I shared a 2 bedroom, queen bed, kitchenette. The hotel is old, beds were frumpy/uncomfortable, the AC unit is loud, shower was clogged with hair; the couch was torn. I am allergic to dust and mold, I immediately had congestion entering the room. I was in town to visit family. The warm free breakfast & free water is a plus. 2.5/5 stars. Not ideal when you need sleep & prefer a clean environment. Marriott can do better than this. The staff is nice however.

This property was very close to the stadium for baseball and had a nice selection of restaurants close to the hotel.

Nice and convenient place to stay for events at Honda Center and Angel Stadium

I booked 2 nights for my stay and got charged for 3 nights at checkout. TownePlace promised to fix my issue after 2 hours but when I called them my issue is not resolved. I then had to contact Expedia which was told to wait 3-5 days to get the full refund. I did spend my time to go through the phone call and online chat, which I should not have to. This is my first and last time to stay at this place.

Recommended for any Aneheim stay.

The room was super clean. Check in was fast and easy. Walked in and room was bigger than i thought it would be. Kitchennete wth everything. Tvs in each room and all were internet capable. We lucked out and literally, right outside our door were stairs that led right to the pool and hot tub. Relaxing, comfy night. And free breakfast was good enough for me.

Weird smells everywhere. front desk staff are weirdly young and kinda unprofessional. Breakfast options were limited but existed. Not the cleanest. Outdated rooms and not well cleaned. Let me mention the smells again. My allergies were goint crazy. Will not stay again.

The kitchen was a surprise, easy to use with good cooking options and but for a couple of forks that looked to have some spots of food not totally cleaned. The stove/oven and refrigerator completed a very workable stay. We look forward to being able to return there for a longer stay. All of the amenities were complete and very useable. We liked the bathroom and the well placed and sturdy grab bar in the bathtub/shower combination. Overall we were very pleased.

It was almost excellent stay except breakfast had only one meat option “Pork” without consideration for people not eating pork.

Property was pretty clean, besides when I walked in my room you could smell a foul smell like mildew or the place was flooded by shower or bath and they didn't clean it just let it dry,so it created an unpleasant smell. I notified two people plus maintenance pretended not to smell it. Besides that it was ok at best . Being a name brand hotel I thought I was in good hands but no. Staff is awesome and accommodating. Breakfast was really nice as well. I wouldn't book here again based on this experience also they charge $15 a night for parking. But maybe others will have a better experience but I warned you.

Bad smelling room

Bad smell in room. The toilet seat had pee stain. I called the front desk they apologized but didn’t have any other rooms available. He said he would not charge us for parking and sent housekeeper to clean bathroom. We went to target to buy febreeze spray. We left the window open as well. I was told the smell was chemicals they used to clean the carpet but it smelled like dog pee

Safe place

Great place to stay for Angels fans!!

We love staying at this hotel because it is so close to the Angels Stadium. The breakfast is always delicious and having a kitchen in our room makes it easier to save money. We get up, eat breakfast, visit the local amusement parks by using the ART bus system, then fix dinner and then walk across the parking lot into the Angels stadium!! We are told they are doing renovations this coming year, so the hotel will be even better!

Clean and friendly staff very nice we enjoyed our stay.

It was a great location right next to Honda Center and places to eat before the show. It was unfortunate that the room was not ready for us to check in at 5pm and it almost made us late for our evening concert. We finally got in the room by 5:30 so it was a tight schedule. The morning breakfast was very good.

Check-in was quick, room was clean, key cards worked perfectly. Pool is clean and refreshing. Easy location for Uber to find you. No traffic even with the concert at Honda Center

The front desk help was super kind and helpful. Gave is an upgraded suite since our room wasn't quite ready. We were able to stay parked there after we checked out whole we went to an angels game. Easy and good place to stay.

Lots of things within walking distance and it was clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Will be staying again in September.

The rooms could use better cleaning. The beds sheets had holes and the bed definitely didn’t feel like a Queen! But overall our stay was peaceful and nice. The front desk staff was pleasant.

I would go there again

Everything was perfect except that the fold out bed of the couch was not available unless I asked for bedding and made it up myself.

First, When we got there the location was in a good area, next to Panera, Starbucks, and Denny’s. When I was talking to reception they said it would be a 15 dollar charge for parking instead of 8 dollars which I was told. Once I got into the room door and opened it. It had a strong mildew odor. we put our things on the desk to look around and pull out the bed from my son and noticed that there were food crumbs on the sheets of the bed. I did call to get new sheets. From some strange reason the door knob would shake like someone was trying to get in. This happened several times waking us up. I would say this room needs to fix in the bathroom ceiling from mold and updating the floor and furniture.

Fast

We were here for a quick over night, the location was great, and check in was fast with Josh.

We were treated very well and staff was professional. Rooms were pristine and well stocked. We would stay again! The ONLY issue we noticed is just a bit of a homeless issue camped in the bushes ... but unfortunately, this is everywhere now. They didn't bother anyone.

Nice Hotel Convenient Location

The room was nice- there was a little kitchen in the room. The staff was really nice. It was really close to the venue or our concert, so we were able to just walk there. Things out of the hotels control that were a little bothersome is that the area is kind of noisy and you can hear the fireworks from Disney at night. We would definitely stay here again.

It was all good!

The only thing I didn’t like was that you can hear every noise your neighbors make.
