Everything was great.
Giant check in was super nice! Room is very nice, just small.
Great location with a fun bar. We were lucky to get a room further away from the action so it wasn’t too loud. We would stay again. Beautiful hotel and you can walk or Uber easily to many places nearby.
Rooms so small it's hard to walk around the bed. Noise of the multiple entertainment venues was never ending. Virtually nothing in the room except bed and TV.
Great overall
It was clean, yet the rooms are tiny.
Room wasn’t ready at the promised time,
Super lovely staff and the hotel has a modern vibe. Great location if you're visiting Hollywood. This hotel is a real diamond in the rough. Highly recommended!
Super cool and swanky at an exceptional price.
Staff was amazing. I wish housekeeping came earlier. They still hadn't cleaned rooms by 4:30pm.
Plan on high parking fees
The hotel was perfectly situated. Walking distance to most of the major landmarks on Hollywood blvd and a quick drive to Universal Studios and Griffith Park. The hotel is really trendy and has a great vibe with lots of people working or socializing in the lobby. We did have a few unexpected surprises tho. The first came during check in. They only had valet parking, which I suppose is to be expected for a hotel in LA but, it was $55 per night. This was an extra expense that we didn’t plan on. We had to pay it tho because there was no street parking and local lots had no “in and out privileges.” Upon check in we received $30 credit to a restaurant but were surprised when most of the restaurants were closed on Monday (our only full day). The bedrooms are clean, but very small. The last surprise was that the bathrooms are made of glass that is see through so if you aren’t going with a romantic partner it can make getting in and out of the shower a little weird. Overall it was a nice stay we went for an anniversary and even tho it wasn’t the most romantic room, the hotel had a beautiful sunset view and was the perfect location.
I paid $600 on Expedia for 4 nights at this hotel. When I checked in, they charged me another $114 in the form of a “destination fee”, plus another $19 that just called “fees”. So that’s a total of $123 in fees on top of the original $600 I paid on Expedia, which is supposed to include taxes and fees. This is extremely annoying and makes it very difficult to plan your vacation. Then they give you a $30-coupon to use at their bar. We ordered two glasses of wine. They said, we could only order one glass of wine with the coupon, and only a specific one (so we couldn’t choose). So we ordered a separate glass of wine. The lady at the bar poured more into the “paid” glass than into the “coupon” glass, explaining to us that with the coupon you get “a small glass” of wine. The situation was utterly absurd. Just spare me the nonsense and charge me for the wine (fun fact: the wine tasted like crap). Then they also give you coupons for movie tickets at the chinese theater. Only thing is: they’re not valid for IMAX. In other words: not valid for THE chinese theater. The whole experience was ridiculous.
Keep a plan for if your room isn't ready yet. You can check in your luggage while you wait & go have a drink somewhere off the property. Great Suite rooms with cool views. Lots to uber to nearby. Great property for a quick stay.
Did not receive VIP amenity or upgrade. Was supposed to have room with a view and did not get that. No closets, fridge, or drawers Room was super dark. Limited food choices with no room service
Check and checkout was easy! Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the hotel was very expensive and not amazing food .. the atmosphere was good!
Great! Addition of mini fridge in room would make it fantastic
I have nothing but problems here. The hotel gave my suite to another person and tried putting me in a much smaller room. Theyve done this several times and i wont be staying here ever again. I had to cancel and go to another hotel
Great hotel! Staff were friendly. Food is great. Lovely restaurant as well. Comfortable but very small rooms.
Not sound proofed!!!! All the bars and restaurants in the facility play music till 12am. The only thing the hotel offers you is an apology and earplugs
Restaurants closed. cold grab and go food was horrible. No refrigerator in room
Small room size without any refrigerator provided
Good location
Perfect place close to everything. Clean and nice room. The only thing we didn't like is if you stay on the 8th floor the dragging of the of furniture or whatever they were dragging late till 12:30am and 6:30 am. That was not enjoyable. The rest is good. Would go back but not on the 8th floor.
Hotel what does not care!
Hotel not really care about clients. Most of service, like restaurants, closed or unavailable for hotel guests. Very cold inside rooms, have no blankets. They give us one bath towel for two people. Parking over $100 per two nights stay. All our requests was ignored.
Property was nice and room was ok. We were assigned a room at the back side of the hotel facing other rooms with no views. This is my second experience of being assigned poor rooms when booking using expedia. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room everyday. The music at night was too loud and difficult to sleep. Overall ok experience at this property.
.
Great looking place, super sleek. Nice and close to hollywood walk of fame
Room was very small. No chair or table to eat. No fridge. Staff was great. Very clean too
tommie Hollywood was in the best location with lots of amenities around it. The property itself is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Amazing atmosphere.
It was very busy with a film shoot on the roof, so we couldn't go to the pool the first day. But it is a beautiful hotel.
Great hotel, loved the pool & bar area. Room was great too. Staff were very attentive Would definitely recommend to others Will keep in mind when visiting Hollywood again
Beautiful property excellent customer service. It is very loud at night. They have a nightclub that looks super fun, but trying to go to sleep was difficult!
Very poor overly small jammed rooms Nowhere to put clothes. No room. Extremely noisy. Resort fee added at end . No service. Very poor experience.
The property and cleanliness of the hotel was great. The service of staff was fine, when I asked for some guidance on how to get to one of our tourist locations, we were given a map and sent on our way. Definitely not the above and beyond experience we have enjoyed at other locations.
Accomodations were great and the staff very attentive and person able. KA'TEEN restaurant was outstanding. Parking fees were a bit expensive and no one told us about them until we had checked out.
Awesome hotel with an even more awesome staff. Everyone here was fantastic from the moment we checked in. The rooftop bar (from what I remember, lol) was a lot of fun and the VIP benefits really started off our trip right. We enjoyed our complimentary drinks at Ka'teen and had a couple of appetizers, zero complaints all around. All in all, a great trip. We cannot wait to return to Tommie Hollywood!
Fun, romantic, walkable get away
We had a great stay at Tommie in Hollywood. Hotel was beautiful with a very cool vibe. We did not eat at Kateen but it looked like an amazing high end Mexican restaurant . we ate at Tao across the street which is super cool. Lots of great night clubs to walk to with no cover charge. Room was very quiet at night, even though there were night clubs around.
Love it
Pleasant property in a great location. Some comments talk about this being a loud party hotel. There was a party on the rooftop while we were there but you couldn't hear it at all in the rooms and it didn't get in the way of enjoying the hotel.
This property was amazing, but too expensive for the dining at the kateen
Great hotel to stay at for all the sights/sounds of Hollywood. It does get a bit noisy at night but the staff kindly warned us of that and even offered ear plugs if needed but we didn't need them.
Convenient and Walkable to Hot spots in the areas.
Fun stay with my BFF. Lots of good food near by. We enjoyed an afternoon on by the rooftop pool - great views!
Good hotel overall. But rooms are too small
Everything was great. I will be back for sure.
Perfect
Not the best option if traveling for business. not offering secure wifi can be an issue when managing confidential company emails and documents.
Wonderful
Close to Hollywood Boulevard. Room was very clean and serviced daily but not a lot of space for baggage!
It would be a lot better if it had a bar fridge in the room and if the rooms were a little bigger. Not ideal for more than one night.
One valet was rather rude. Other than that, all good.
Convenient, right between hollywood blv & sunset. Staff were amazing. Though the amenities were lacking. There no fridge & with the heat, we wanted cold drinks. There was only a bed & bathroom, with a small shelf running along one wall. We kept tripping over our bags as there was really no place to store them.
1. It’s a nightclub. This isn’t clear when you book. Expect very loud music til gone 2am 2. No wardrobe or space for clothes/suitcases etc in the room. Fine for a short trip- few days - but otherwise impossible 3. Room wasn’t cleaned for the entire four days. Not even a change of towels. They wouldn’t dry so had to dry ourselves on damp towels daily 4. Area is not nice at all. Feels very unsafe. Homelessness, drugs, fighting in the streets, people being harassed etc Overpriced for the area and facilities. Pool decent. New hotel so in good condition. If you want to stay up at the bar and club all night you’ll love it
Great bar on the roof
Room not ready in time
The room was cute but unfortunately they did not have it ready by check-in time. We had to wait about an hour to get checked in to our room which delayed some activities for the day.
Great hotel and perfect location when going to a play at the Pantages.
The hotel is fantastic, it's just once you leave the property the unpleasant smell and filth is a lot. That said, you're going to get that everywhere is LA... if you're in Hollywood for a couple days this spot is wonderful.
Great property. Was difficult to checkin contactless, but so worth the time and money for a great location and perfect balcony. Thankful to the staff and the architects!
I felt safe while inside or near the hotel with staff around at all times. They were super friendly and welcomed me. The price for 8 nights was reasonable and I appreciate they kept my room clean everyday with fresh towels and blankets. The price for staying 8 nights made a damper for my vacation expenses with the security deposit but they gave it back at end of my trip ... so I couldnt use it the way I wanted. I will be prepared the next time but I understand the purpose of the deposit so not angry about it. Overall ... I had a wonderful bisit and hope to go back to LA and have Tommie Hollywood hotel welcome me back!
Too small of rooms
Rooms are way too small! And there needs to be a closet and iron!
The hotel restaurant ambience is stunning and the food is delicious. The rooftop pool and bar are also gorgeous. Rooms are a bit small and you can hear through the walls a little. All in all, an incredible location and deal for seeing Hollywood; highly recommend.
Unique hotel, they hope you expect that it’s a party hotel. Great rooms that are small but high tech.
The hotel is quite lovely but it is the surrounding area is a bit unsafe. Homelessness and dilapidated housing down the street is what makes it questionable.
I loved the hotel. Be prepared for nightclub noise. Very clean, employees very helpful
Cool and Contemporary
Just an overnight stay, but very pleasant. Compact room, but all I needed. Needed and iron and iron board and they sent one straight up. I was given an extra hour for a late check out which was appreciated. The staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary drink or coffee. Would have liked a place to have a sit down breakfast, but went around the corner to the Thompson Rooftop Terrace. There is a also Mama Shelter next door too.
everything was great about my stay
This is an adorable hotel, great price and we stayed for a concert at the Greek, perfect place to stay. Only complaint …and totally my own fault for not paying better attention, there are two crazy clubs and the entire hotel thumped until 2 am… but if you WANT to party, then super fun! Small but clean rooms. All and all, I will definitely stay there again in the future!
Staff can be friendlier on both the front desk as well as the adjacent thompson roof top
Despite a rocky start to our stay with lost luggage, we were greeted with kindness and staff did everything they could to make our stay a positive one. Beautiful property, many cool features from the rooftop pool nightclub (which you receive access to as a hotel guest) to the Kateen restaurant in the lobby. Highly recommend!
Great location and hotel.
Nice appearance, great parking, horrible sleep.
The appearance is excellent and the room was small but comfortable with a great bed and nice bathroom and the proximity to local sights is great. Now, here’s the rub… the girl told is at check-in that it’s a “nightlife hotel”. We had no idea what that meant and it wasn’t mentioned in the Hotels.com listing. Let me tell you what this means… it means that the downstairs Restaraunt in the patio play house music all day that you can hear and feel throughout the hotel, and the pseudo western bar on the top floor plays neighborhood shaking music until 2am and if you are on the 7rh floor, the line dancing and boot stomping happens directly above you so you can enjoy every heel stomp like you’re there. It you are a person that goes out and closes down the bars, you’re fine as the quiet window is 2-9 am or so. If you are any other person, stay far away from this place.
Really great stay
Staff was very accommodating with Early Check in and Late Check out during Global IT outage.
fun
I’ve stayed here before and I like the set up and location. Rooms small but comfortable and clean. Great rooftop bar with fabulous views.
I loved this hotel. The aesthetic is so beautiful and the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed.
Staff was friendly and property is well kept. Our 2 twin beds room was very small. No closet and not really room to put an open suitcase except on the bed. The room felt very cramped for 2 people. Within walking distance of Hollywood Blvd. and a couple of decent restaurants next door.
The hotel is a great location in Hollywood, which has pros (easy to walk places) and cons (nightlife noise). The decor is lovely and rooms well suited for tourism, less so for business. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the highlight of the stay. Always present, helpful with questions, knowledgeable about rooms with less noise, etc. I would stay again!
The rooms are so small with no closet or dresser to store clothes. We upgraded to a terrace that was filthy with cigarette butts everywhere. The room was definitely not clean, very dark, noisy with paper thin walls. We checked out after 8 hours! I definitely would NOT recommend this place!!
Very nice place and is an amazing for me and the miss
Greta hotel and the rooftop bar was awesome too.
The hotel itself and the staff were great! The rooftop pool was also fun and nice. There are lots of bars, restaurants and things to do nearby. The two complaints I had were the actual room and the area around the property. The room was very small and offered almost no privacy and counter/ shelf space. The area around the property was so dirty that the smell of the streets literally made me nauseated.
Really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful and the on property amenities were convenient. I loved that we were able to hop back and forth between the Tommie and Thompson hotels.
Muy cerca del paseo de la fama y de tours que te llevan a recorrer buenos lugares
Enjoyed our stay!
I picked the wrong hotel!!! They closed restaurants, bar and rooftop on Monday but they didn’t put on advertising. So disappointed everything closed even breakfast we need to walk to far to had breakfast outside hotel. We paid expensive for convenience but we’re got bad feeling. Even room so small, view and surroundings so dirty and unsafe. This hotel should be honest and sincere to guests like they advertised! A lots of hotels better choice, Tommie Hollywood far away from 4 stars not even 3 stars compares.
Hotel and pool were nice. On the 4th floor, we could still hear loud bass music from local businesses late into bedtime. Wouldn’t need to visit Hollywood again. Everything smelled like dog/human pee and the neighborhood was run down.
Hollywood weekend
All staff were helpful and pleasant. The pool is great and has helpful staff and nice atmosphere and music. The bartender took great care of us and by booking through hotels.com I received VIP with 2 free drinks and 20% off food orders. Location is great and the decor is beautiful and relaxing. Quite chic
Off site parking needs some tlc
Great property
Really comfortable and stylish hotel, walkable and conveniently located for things around Hollywood.
It's centrally located where one can walk to many shops, hotels, venues, etc.
Very trendy boutique hotel.
Wonderful hotel, close to everything! Awesome views from rooftop bar and pool!
Not a great location
This hotel was amazing for our two night stay in LA! Very clean, quiet, the vibe was moody - I loved everything about this hotel. Would definitely stay again.
Was clean and modern very nice up scale feel
The hotel is nice, although the location is far from great, I didn't feel safe around there, not the cleanest area either.
It’s on a very nice street, I love the valet offer very easy to just drop off and go. The inside of the hotel is so nice and modern. Nice and cleanly hotel rooms.
Great customer service throughout the experience, the room is nice and clean, great experience all around.

Upon arrival was sent to a room that was not ready. The POS system for room service was not functioning. Room with barely any amenities such as coffee maker, etc. overall an adequate experience but probably not worth the price in my opinion. The staff however, were amazing.
