This hotel is 10 minutes walking distance to Shibuya crossing. It’s clean, quiet, spacious and the amenities are up to date. It’s close to plenty of cafes and restaurants. No hesitation staying here again.
The hotel room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was separate from the shower which makes it convenient to those in the room. The bed and kitchen area (which includes a microwave, sink and dining table) were great for families staying. It was 10 minutes walk to Shabuya Scramble/ crossing. Very conveniently located hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming however they kept trying to up sell me and charge me more for my stay. They tried to charge me for my child and they tried to charge me again for checking in early. The room was available by 1pm but I was charged an additional fee to check in earlier than 3pm. This was frustrating because I’ve not had this happen before especially when the room is ready to go. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the room was a great size and clean.
Feels like home
Had a noisy room with random sounds all night long. Staff wasn’t really friendly
Really lovely experience. Went there as a solo traveller and felt very safe.
I have stayed here quite a few times when visiting Tokyo and would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious while staffs are friendly & helpful. There is a Maruetsu Petit Mart right across so you can easily access daily needs of water, food and the likes. Not to mention the abundance of eateries nearby and walking distance to a train station. Always a joy staying here!
The self check in machine didn’t function properly. It’s a hassle and ended up need staff to do check in. Limited cleaning was requested but they just hang a bag of towels outside of the room, didn’t go in the room to clear the trash bin. Washing machine inside the room is supposed to be a selling point, however the washer/ dryer is not very efficient. Location of the hotel is good.
They were very respectful and and very helpful even had staff who spoke English very well
Tokyu Stay shibuya was a great hotel. The rooms are nice and cozy and have everything you can possibly need. Definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Tokyo.
Great location. Staff was amazing..,i actually lost my passport between Haneda and the hotel. They called the airport and 2 stations—by noon the next day, it was found! They did more than the police did 👍😊
Excellent room and just a 10 min walk to the heart of Shibuya. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful stay in a great area. Excellent staff.
Had a great stay, the staff was lovely and the hotel had great amenities. Would definitely stay here again
It was a great place to stay that isn’t too far a walk from Shibuya station! They had great and very helpful staff! Our room had a washer/dryer combo which was very helpful for laundry during our stay.
I stayed here for 5 nights with my family and really enjoyed it. It was so nice to have a fridge, microwave, and washing machine/dryer in the room. I also loved the balcony in our room. The room was very clean. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Shibuya, but we connected to Shinsen and the walk is less than 5 minutes to a subway. The area is very quiet and safe.
Very clean and nice property....wish they provided more utensils for cooking
Our room also had washer/dryer facilities and kitchenette which we used both of during our 3 night stay following a week long tour. It’s a short walk away from the busy streets of Shibuya station but convenient enough for restaurants and shopping. Very happy with our stay.
Great room for business or longer stays, the in room washing machine was a game changer. More space than other Tokyo hotel, accessible from a quieter street off of Shibuya.
The Tokyu Stay Shibuya was wonderful. The staff were friendly and recommended great restaurants. The property is incredibly clean, the area is very quiet. The room itself had tons of amenity’s packed into a small place. Laundry, sink, induction hot pan. Cutlery, plates and cups. It had a fully functional kitchenette. The bed was nice and the balcony added a nice touch. Would definitely go back! As a pilot I live in hotels on the regular, I would happily trade some of the finest hiltons and Marriott’s I stay in for the Tokyu Stay Shibuya.
The room was spacious and clean. Our room had a mini stovetop, microwave, fridge and even a washing machine—all super convenient.
Great place to stay in Shibuya, about a 15min walk to the famous Shibuya crossing. The room was extremely clean and had great facilities including a microwave, mini fridge, sink, kettle and washer/dryer combo. Would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Shibuya!
Pretty clean and nice location
Great location and room was decent size but we had the 3 bed suite
Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with very convenient washer and dryer in room. Would stay again.
Great place to stay
Would highly recommend!
Great budget hotel in the heart of Osaka. Right beside a train station connected to many train lines. Hotel itself is clean, on-site coin laundry was very convenient, and walkable to major tourist attractions. Breakfast is actually really good. However the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable (even more than other Japan hotels). If you can afford a better hotel in your budget, I would book one. If not this is still good.
There was a slight issue in my room but when i reached out to the staffs they resolved it right away. The staffs were so nice. The location was great, i was able to walk to shibuya station, mark city and there were many food options close by. I love that theres a take out seafood donburi store and a super market right infront of the hotel. Makes life so much easier.
Vacationer. This feels more like a business hotel, laundry and kitchenette in the room. The staff was very nice, they speak sufficient English. The area is surrounded by restaurants the locals would frequent. There’s a cool are district within a 20 minute walk that had a great restaurant. Caution! It is a decent walk to Shibuya station which you kinda need to go to for travels. It’s uphill from Shibuya station and can be confusing getting there. I’d recommend getting a shuttle to drop you off.
Liked having the kitchen and washing machine in room.
i stayed here for a week in September and this location in Shibuya was great. just far enough out to be a calmer area but walkable to the scramble or short walk to the IN line. Helpful staff that speak english and tons of restaurants and bars practically just outside the door. Their breakfast wasn’t my favorite but the bacon and egg onigiri from the market around the corner was. be sure to ask for a room at the front of the building to have any kind of view, but might be noisy from the road. i would stay here again or might try one of their other locations in Tokyo to explore a different neighborhood.
Positives- - relatively clean - location is amazing, close to the action but quiet at night - awesome supermarket right across the road - has a washer/dryer we used heaps! - plenty of aircon/ fan options Negatives- - don’t expect a kitchenette, it is the same as most hotel room facilities, had an electric hotplate but nothing to use on it, I didn’t pack utensils coming from Australia. - they tried to give me a downgraded room, fixed when takes to staff - bedding was horribly uncomfortable - it says our room could sleep 6, absolutely not. 1 adult, 2x kids max
The room was damp and had a sewer smell. The sheets felt wet every night when you got into bed. The polyester comforter was stained. They did not replace the sheets or clean the room just new towels only when you placed the card outside your door. We stayed 5 nights with the same damp sheets were gross. The room size was nice I liked the room but the dampness and smell was not good.
Lovely stay. Good price and good amenities. Staff was super accommodating and friendly.
Comfortable and clean lodging. Plenty of restaurants and bars to explore. Hotel management was very helpful. Highly reccomend!
We had an amazing stay here with our 3 kids. Just a note that kids over 6 are counted as an adult and kids are “free” so this was helpful for our family of 5 as many hotels in Japan only Allow Maximum of 4. Amazing area, tons of great walkable dining, 12 minute walk to Shibuya crossing and safe! Albeit everywhere in Japan is safe. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. The hot plate was helpful to cook but they also had two markers downstairs for easy grab meals. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
The Staff is Amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. Great location. Nice amenities. Will be back for sure if there are opportunities.
The room we stayed at was very clean, had table and chairs, spacious enough to fit all 4 luggages, washer/dryer in the room was great. Location is away from all the crowd and there’s nearby stores/market/restaurants. Will recommend this for groups and Shibuya is very nice compare to Shinjuku and Harajuku.
This property was great. I would stay here again.
Quiet enough and walkable to Shibuya Scramble
First things first…make sure that you give the correct address of this hotel to the taxi driver. There is another Tokyu Stay Shibuya in the area. The main reason on why I booked this hotel was due to its proximity to the duo MUSIC EXCHANGE concert venue. It is about a 6 minute walk to the venue. Aside from this, the hotel is very conveniently located near the center if want to walk around to look for places to eat and shop. It is near a neighborhood area, which seems safe. There are many people walking too. It is clean and is a par to the US chain hotels that I am used to ($150/night type). I was very pleased with the washer/dryer inside the room, including the detergent. It is good for small loads. As for the train station, it is about a 10-minute walk. This is good when the sun is still not up, but when summer is in full bloom, you will be sweaty and tired when you reach the hotel or the train station. You can take a taxi to/from the hotel. It costed us about 1,100yen or USD8. Not bad. Overall…I will book to this hotel should I visit Shibuya again in the future.
Loved the space and amenities that other hotels could not offer for the price! Will definitely consider staying again or recommending to others.
Very nice hotel and I’m glad it have washing machine in the room which was really conveniently
After arriving straight from the airport we were greeted by the two ladies in reception as if we were celebrities! It was such a lovely welcome to Tokyo. Room smallish as with most places in Tokyo but very well designed, very clean and modern and perfectly acceptable for two parents and teenager for 6 nights. When booking, my main concern had been the walking distance to the main parts of Shibuya, but I needn’t have worried. It was 10 to 15 minutes walk to the scramble crossing depending on your pace, some of it uphill, but it was a very nice walk initially along a characterful narrow winding street with many restaurants along it and then into a shopping mall attached to Shibuya station. We did that walk many times in our 6 day stay and it was never a problem and always an interesting stroll. The area around the hotel was very quiet and peaceful with a handy convenience store literally across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Also, look out for ‘A Happy Pancake’ near the back entrance to the mall. It’s on the third floor and hard to find but well worth it. Amazing Japanese fluffy pancakes !
Comfortable room in more quiet area
Returned to this hotel for stay in the shibuya area. Hotel looks fairly unassuming in what appears to be a residential area but that was part if the charm. Rooms are on the smaller side but layout for some of the rooms are very well thought out. The washer/dryer in unit is a definite plus. Staff is very friendly. Would return.
Compact and Complete hotel near Shibuya
This Hotel is compact yet very complete. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has a small electric stove and pot for cooking. It has a decent size fridge with freezer. It has a microwave, chopping board, knife, cutleries and more. The size of the room is decent for Tokyo standard. The lobby even offer free coffee. The best part is, it's only 10 minutes walk away from the main Shibuya centre. I'd definitely recommend this place if you were to stay in Tokyo!
Amazing staff, clean and amazing location
Great location, close to Shibuya station making it easy to get around Tokyo. Have a washer/dryer in the room was extremely convenient as well
This hotel is a very cost-effective option
Front desk staff was nice and lobby lounge was well kept. However, room was very stuffy and had a loud AC. Not the most comfortable for a long trip, but will do for a short stay.
Everything is good except of the breakfast. I suggest not to buy their breakfast package because you will get the same sandwich and Japanese food which is not so great.Besides from that everything is great!
Love how friendly the staff are. Family friendly and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Really enjoyed the stayed! Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Room was a bit small for 3 ppl but I guess that’s expected in centre of Tokyo. Kitchen had everything we need and Scramble crossing is only a 12min walk from the hotel. Allowed us to leave luggage after checkout whilst we venture out for the last day.
Spacious for japan
Friendly and helpful staff !
Close proximity to Shibuya station (approximately 6 min walk), restaurants, and convenance stores. About a 15-20 min walk to shopping centers.
Close to metro
the room is nice with a small kitchen and laundry machines. there is a grocery store just across the street. Convenient and nice to cook my own meal during travel. There is a street with small restaurants very close by. And lots of shopping malls are in walking distance. but it is a little bit far from the train station, ok if you walk without heavy luggage.
Loved our spacious studio like apt room. Was a great space to enjoy Tokyo from, conveniently located so we could walk toany dining and grocery options.
Beautiful property and lovely neighborhood within easy walking distance of Shibuya scramble. So nice having laundry in room. Would stay here again!
We loved our stay here. The location is super close to the heart of Shibuya while still being a bit tucked away from the crowds. The hotel had great amenities and were always quick to accommodate anything needed. The staff spoke great English. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo and I hope to be back soon.
Fantastic
Loved the staff and the hotel!!!!
We have a problem with our microwave in our room was not working as the power was cutting off so we couldn’t heat up our breakfast.
This hotel was perfect- perfect staff, perfect location , perfect amenities!! We loved it
Hotel was very clean with modern decor. Our particular room was very spacious and had a washer and dryer that we found useful.
Cuisinette et laveuse/sécheuse sont un gros plus pour l’hôtel. Petite épicerie juste à côté.
Quiet spot close by but away from the crowds
Tokyu Stay Shibuya was a great choice for us. A little quieter being just outside the hustle of Shibuya, but easily accessible and in a great location. Lots of wonderful eateries nearby but still only a ten minute walk to Shibuya central. The washing machine in the room was particularly convenient. The hotel was modern, spotlessly clean and the staff were wonderful.
I love the washing machine in the room. Very convenient for me to do my laundry.
The rooms were very well sized considering we ate only a 10 min walk to shibuya scramble. They had their own washing machines. One big negative to me was the breakfast. Please DONT waste your money on it. They basically provide a basket of frozen lobster bisque and frozen croque monsieur which we have to defrost and microwave in our own room. Very pathetic.
The air in-room power shut off in the middle of the night, which turns off air conditioner and load of laundry. I didn’t know what happened or what to do first night…very uncomfortable sleeping (very warm in room). I physically got up the second night and re-inserted keycard to re-start power to room.
Try to get an upper floor if you don’t want next apartment view into your room
This hotel was very convenient, close to Shinsen and Shibuya station, but still in a quiet neighborhood. The washer/dryer and kitchenette inside the room are nice amenities for a longer stay. There are also markets and small restaurants nearby so it is great location. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s on a quiet street with lovely, small business restaurants and not too far from the busy intersection. It’s walkable and a few blocks away from a major train station. Breakfast bento boxes were incredible and staff were so kind.
Like - 3 single beds, washer dryer in room,Cooking top though not a proper cook top. Don't like - Breakfast is as good as non existent. Some walk from Shibuya crossing.
1st time in Tokyo. Happy with the stay at this hotel for everything. Would stay here again in the next visit Tokyo. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go to Tokyo.
The staff was very friendly they helped us dry off after a sudden downpour and helped us to check in as we arrived.Upon arrival our luggages were already waiting for us in our room, from sending them through luggage service. The room was comfortable and clean. They were able to hold our luggages after check out which was nice and allowed us to weigh our luggages before leaving.
to charge us to clean the room when my son wet the bed Unacceptable
We stayed here for majority of our stay in Tokyo. It's a great hotel, I only docked a star as we did not know what their policy was regarding children and they made us pay for a whole extra room charge, that was a little off putting as the room didn't have three individual beds bt 2 beds and sofa bed. Considering we stayed there so many days, it would have been courteous of them to offer some sort of concession.
Overall great!
Overall it’s a very clean hotel, the best thing is it has a washer/dryer in each room. Employees and staff are very friendly and can speak English. The hotel offers coffee & tea in the lobby but there is no restaurant in the hotel. There is a supermarket around the corner and a 7-11 down the street. It’s a 15 minute walk from Shibuya station so a little challenging when carrying luggages through the Shibuya crowd.
Perfect for family and walkable to many options of food and attractions.
The rooms were great and spacious for Japanes hotels. The washing machine came in handy too. Recommend staying here if you don’t mind a walk to the station. If it’s just food and shopping you want it’s a great spot and you can find that with a few minutes. The staff are next level Japanese awesomeness. Very kind and helpful.
Great stay!
We couldn't fault this place! The location is great - super easy to get around and stations, restaurants and 'The Scramble' are all within easy walking distance. You can walk to Harajuku and Meiji Jingu (well worth a visit by the way!) within 30 minutes. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our whole stay. The facilities are great - there is free iced and hot coffee (which was actually really good!), ice machine, lots of bits and bobs (like combs, toothbrushes, shower caps, tea bags etc), great toiletries, great shower, vending machines, and a dedicated outdoor smoking area (which can be hard to come by in Japan - as we found out!). The room was a great size and we never felt cramped and we had plenty of space for our luggage. The bed was comfy and felt bigger than what we were expecting! I have to mention the staff - they were incredible!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and they made us feel truly welcome and special. They helped us to forward our luggage to our hotel in Kyoto and also stored our bags for us on our last day so that we could have a last explore of Tokyo without our rucksacks weighing us down. There was one member of reception staff that absolutely made our trip, but unfortunately we didn't get her name! All we know is that she had only moved from Korea a month ago and was the most friendly and joyful person we met in Japan - everytime we saw her she brightened up our day and made us smile - a truly beautiful soul.
Location and cleanliness
Superb.... Will stay again
Super good and best of all there is washer for you. Detergent also provided
The hotel is located very close to the Shibuya station in a very quiet street with several small restaurants, bars and convenience stores close by. The only thing we missed what a good place for breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind.
The staff was great! Place was very quiet, accommodating, and very clean!!
Great place to stay.
A great place to stay. Many areas in walking distance. Trains, shopping, restaurants are relatively close proximity. Love the area as it has a supermarket across the street. Many wine bars and restaurants within the area makes it a must stay on my next trip to Shibuya. Love the washer dryer in room. So convenient.
Great location for shibuya crossing and lots of shopping. A small supermarket across the street.
Staff speak great English. Was able to store baggage before and after checking in/checking out. Room is very clean
Bed too hard
This is a very comfortable stay. The beds and linen were very nice and the bathroom facilities excellent. We had a balcony that was very nice for air flow. The laundry was very useful and detergent was provided. The location is excellent for exploring.
The hotel is on a quiet street in walking distance to all things Shibuya. The scramble crossing and Shibuya station are about 10 mins way on foot. Lots of food, bars, and clubbing options around. The room was well appointed, not a lot of room but certainly roomier than many Japanese hotels. I had a room with a washer/dryer, and kitchenette (microwave, kettle, hot plate). The breakfast was good enough and the staff are superb.
We enjoyed our stay. Convenient location, close to public transportation and many food and shopping areas.
Paid cleaning of room
Write in the booking cleaning is not available daily No one reads terms and conditions
Rooms are spacious for Tokyo. Quite clean and nicely laid out - have laundry for longer trips and a mini kitchenette, including a microwave. Breakfast is frozen food from the lobby that you reheat in your room. About a 15-20 minute walk from Shibuya Station. About 10-15 minutes from some nearby local bars and restaurants. Slightly off a main road, so a little bit quieter. Overall, great place to stay in Tokyo.
The hotel is within walkable distance of the subway, shopping and many dining options.
Friendly staff but could be cleaner.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Only about a 10 minute walk to Shibuya Station. There was enough space for my family of 4. The biggest thumbs down was the long strands of hair we kept finding on the floor.
The property was kept very clean and the staff were very friendly. Room amenities were great. First time I've seen a unit with a washer and dryer that I used and had no trouble with. It was nice to be able to wash my clothes during my stay.
This property was located in Shibuya but away from the busy areas. It was extremely clean and had good facilities. Coffee was good. Lots of convenient stores around as well as restaurants. Hotel was a bit pricey but we did book a bit late.
