The owner is extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. He not only helped us finding a tailor and a car cleaning place but took us there and made sure that we were taking care of. The hotel is well maintained, very clean and 3 minutes from the airport. Very good and generous breakfast. I will come back to this hotel anytime

Tin Joseph Hotel review

Great hôtel. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Well located. Room are spacious with very comfortable beds. The manager and owner Ahmad is welcoming, helpful and full of advice. I will come again to this hotel anytime.

We came in from two nights in the Sahara so we were thrilled with the comfortable bed, fantastic hot shower and Ahmed’s gracious hospitality. Not only did he recommend a restaurant, he also drove us there and back! He was most resourceful and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

So welcoming!

We arrived at Tin Joseph after a long drive through the Atlas Mountains and were welcomed as if it was our own home. The room was really large, clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel and it was so delicious, beef Tagine and chicken pastilla. I recommend staying here if you plan to visit Ouarzazate. It should be your first choice!

Such a wonderful host who built the hotel himself with great attention to detail. Welcome mint tea, lots of help with recommendations in the area. Very good breakfast. Large comfortable bed. Very quiet. Cafes in easy walking distance.

Tin Joseph is a very lovely little hotel. We were greeted with kindness and tea. We wanted to add another night and although we booked it ahead it was all dealt with easily. The room was large and well appointed with separate shower and toilet rooms. The finishings like stairs and walls are very well done. I would not hesitate to recommend Tin Joseph for a nice stay in Ourzarzates.

Excellent hotel!

I had a delightful stay at Tin Joseph! Ahmad, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel right at home. He also was very helpful with ideas for sightseeing. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. The meals were delicious as well! I HIGHLY recommend staying at Tin Joseph if you are ever in Ouarzazate.

Great little hotel

The other reviews are correct; very watm welcome and attention during stay, quiet, comfortable and quirky (good) decor throughout. Easy parking and shops snd some cafe/restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again.

A great place to stay. Super friendly host. A couple of cafes within a 1 minute walk so lots of great dining options.

Great Stay

Booked the room the same day I needed it. Very easy check in. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was ideal for what I needed and the breakfast in the morning was great.

Hotel in Ouarzazate

The hotel was in a quiet area by the airport, rather than in the city center. The service was provided primarily by the owner, and he was very attentive.

The hotel itself is a work of art

Ahkmed runs a remarkable place. It was very comfortable and quiet. Perhaps not best very someone who cannot do stairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

This boutique hotel is like a small.museum where everything is just delicious. The owner Ahmad gave us time and advise. He and his staff went the extra mile - knowing that it was my wife's birthday, they prepare her a surprise delicious cake and sang to her! The area is very safe.

What a gem in the desert! Comfortable, clean, well-appointed riad with a proud, caring, and helpful owner. Thank you Ahmad for the advise even before we arrived and your hospitality and accommodation during our stay.

Excellent spot for Ouarzazate

The owner greeted us with Moroccan Mint Tea, and told us a little about the history of the movie industry in Ouarzazate. He was always very responsive when I emailed prior to our stay. The room was well laid out, and everything was clean and tidy. The decor of the room (really the entire guesthouse) is beautifully done.

GREAT STAY WITH SUPER SERVICE

We stayed 4 nights and had excellent time. Ahmed and staff were super attentive and very amenable to our special food service needs for breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating, always warmly welcoming us after our long days. Room had all amenities and real fast internet. Highly recommended

After a long drive and a lot of moving around in general, Tin Joseph was such a pleasant welcoming place to turn in for the night. Ahmad, the owner, was warm and accommodating, greeting us when we arrived and taking the time to offer us a welcome drink and tell us about the guesthouse. The guesthouse itself is a treasure of thoughtfully curated decor and architectural details that Ahmad himself collected and planned himself. You can tell how much he cares about Tin Joseph and loves taking the time to get to know his guests. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to spend the night or a small retreat in the “city without noise,” definitely stay here. Thanks so much Ahmad!

Authentic stay in Morocco

Very nice hotel completely designed by the owner. He was so friendly and authentic. We had two delicious breakfasts and two amazing dinners. Would recommend without a doubt. No elevator so be prepared to climb the stairs as restaurant is on 4th floor

Great Experience

The hotel was very clean. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Lastly, the food was great!

It was an absolutely amazing experience at Tin Joseph. The staff and host made us feel at home from the minute we stepped onto the property. We were offered a choice of tea and pastries. Then shown the room that they very well cleaned. The dinner was also amazing with a large number of selections to choose from. They also have a vegetarian/vegan options in the menu. We got the skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also great and you can ask for what time you’d like to be served. The common/dinning area was also very cosy and we were given local drums to play with. Overall an amazing experience, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while in Ouarzazate.

Beware of Stairs!

First thing first, there are some serious stairs to climb (no elevator) so if you have bad knees, out of shape and get winded easily, or are wheelchair bound, this may not be the place for you. The property manager was very pleasant and kind. He upgraded our room which moved us from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. Awesome, until we realized the floors were not the “American” flights of stairs. 72 steps we climbed (in America, this would be considered the 5th floor). Needless to say, we didn’t make a ton of back and forth trips to the room. Hotel is very eclectic which we loved. However, the beds were not comfortable. Extremely hard. And the pillows were bit too big to lay your head on. Location was great. Nice cafes at the end of the street. We frequented “Chay” quite often.

Great rooms, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was super friendly and helpful, took us personally to the Hamman!

A lovely place in Ouarzazate

Although our stay was only 1 night, we very much enjoyed our experience at Tin Joseph. Ahmad was a kind and attentive host; we also had a great breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing place. The staff makes you feel like honoured guest in their home. Room are exceptionally clean. Food is so goooooood. Showers are hot and wifi is good. This place is amazing in every way. I would recommend it to anyone. ❤️🙏❤️

Very friendly owners. The hotel is in a quiet part of town but there are some restaurants nearby. It's also close to the main road. The room was very comfortable with a very nice shower.

Ahmed our host was very kind and helpful. The room was large with a big bed. We enjoyed the breakfast and after Ahmend made a few suggestions to visit and which route to take to Marakech, which was a beautiful surprise. We would stay again!

La experiencia ha sido magnífica. La habitación es de lo mejor que hemos visto en Marruecos en general. La cama comodísima y las instalaciones impecables. Está un pelín alejado del centro pero merece mucho la pena caminar esos minutos de más. Y sobre todo, el propietario y toda la gente que atiende el hostal amabilísimos. Volveremos si tenemos oportunidad.

Nice stay in Ouarzazate with a very friendly host

Stayed here for two days with my partner, and everything was just nice. Room was very clean, so was the guest house. Also the breakfast was more than okay! The host Ahmed was superb! He helped us with some activities to do in the two days we were in Ouarzazate. Overall, great stay! If someone is willing to come to Ouarzazate, I will definitely recommend.

We had a good one night stay. The room and facilities were lovely and the host Achmed and his staff were very attentive and helpful. Great value for money

Det var et veldig bra opphold i en vedholdt Riad med god service. Vi ble fraktet til og fra et veldig et godt spisested og vi fikk gode tips til en rundreise i området. Dessuten også en liten privat sightseeing i byen.

Kind hotel owner snd great stay!

We had a great stay in tin Joseph! We arrived late around 9 pm and the hotel owner send us a message to ask if everything was ok. In the morning, we went to the rooftop terrace to experience the peacefulness of the city and fresh air. It was cool!

Wir waren mit Tin Joseph sehr zufrieden. Er war super nett und hatt uns etliche Typs gegeben. Wir würden wiederum dort übernachten.

Nous avons passé un court séjour au Tin Joseph et avons été très bien accueilli. Nous sommes partis tôt le matin direction l aéroport et notre hôte nous avait gentillement préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter !

Exceptionnel !

J’ai passé un remarquable séjour au Tin Joseph où tout y a été apprécié : accueil exceptionnel, hospitalité, beauté des lieux, confort et tranquillité de la chambre, petits-déjeuners et dîners somptueux (je n’en ai manqué aucun 😉) ! Une mention toute particulière pour le couscous royal et le délice de dattes au chèvre frais 😋 Je suis venu pour le travail, j’y reviendrai pour le plaisir.
