Poor check in experience. Staff attending (north eastern) to guests are very non fluent in English or Hindi and often take thrice the time to tell a simple thing. We got room 824 keys at 4.33 pm that too after frequent following up while at restaurant. The only time they showed promptness was while reminding of checkout at 12.01 pm. Breakfast service was slow and needed frequent reminders. There was chaos. The only few people doing great were Urmila, Aman. Overall not worth the price and not the same Weston experience we get at other Westins

Property: 8.5/10 Food & Dining: 8.5/10 Accommodation/Room: 7/10: Half the lamps were dysfunctional; the mini refrigerator was not cooling, neither was the air conditioner. The room space was quite good and surrounding space very pleasant and almost noise free. Washroom and balcony space was also very good. Restaurant Staff: 👍 Check-in experience: 2/10. I had made a call about 4 hours prior to check in, to request for an early check in around 2:00 pm was possible, and the lady confirmed we could. However, on reaching the property, the person at the front desk said we needed to wait for 45 mins as the room was getting ready. Major miscommunication between the resort staff. Had to repeat the entire conversation I had on call before, and then almost immediately we got a room. My question is, where was the issue?? The resort check in time is 3:00 pm, and check out time 12:00 pm. For reasons I’ve never understood, why is it never 24 hours, or, at least 23? Anyway. So if a previous occupant checks out at 12:00 pm, does it take 2 hours or 3 for them to clean the room? Even if someone checks out late, there is still ample time and ample staff at the resort to perform the same. So either they shouldn’t confirm or if they do, after checking both the Marriott Bonvoy member ID and reservation number, they should make sure the room is available. Such errors are not acceptable from a 5 star property. And it’s a beautiful property. Why tarnish that?

Best for a weekend getaway. Services are great. Food in their restaurants is amazing. Multiple activities for all age groups. Overall a nice experience.

Fun time with Family

It’s a fun time together with whole family after a very very long time. It’s a beautiful property with all amenities and with lots of activities for kids. Kids had a great blast.

Terrible service and cleanliness

The standards have really deteriorated. we checked in at 3 however got the room only by 4:30 PM and was still being cleaned. The next day too despite repeated requests the rooms were cleaned only by 6 pm which meant sitting in unmade rooms. The cleanliness was horrible and no replenishment for towels, toiletries, one had to call them for everything. There were no glasses in the room and the service was very delayed. Honestly the staff (housekeeping and team at the restaurant) were really stretched and were trying their best to cope but it is sheer mismanagement on the hotels behalf. Horrible experience and feel bad for the staff that has to endure the criticism from the guests due to lack of service and cleanliness. will not visit again.

Amazing customer service and overall hospitality. The food is delicious and the chefs are very helpful in customizing the dishes e.g we asked for gluten free and lactose free meals and it was prepared for us.

PATHETIC EXPERIENCE Overall experience was pathetic except food. Food was nice. The rooms cleanliness and hygiene were badly compromised. It was like u r staying in some cheap lodge with lot of insects and lizards in ur room and rooms and around ur is all flooded. There is sever problem with electricity and also fittings in bathroom are also leaking. Everything was brought to the notice of Manager and other staff, but they are all helpless and are only sorry and nothing more they can do. They must refund my room rent and give a written apology. ONE SHUD CHOOSE HOTEL OTHER THAN WESTIN SOHNA ROAD.

Excellent hospitality

The outstanding experience is due to the excellent team. Each staff member makes one feel welcome and special. From the reception desk to Amit , who drives the golf cart , the chef or the team that serves in the restaurant ( have to mention Ali - and Pritam the manager and Sanaa). It was the peak of summer but the rooms are cool and we relaxed in the calming ambience. The heavenly spa is beautifully constructed. I particularly loved the room called the sanctuary and spent some quiet time in it.

Its a good property. It should improve and make the main coffee shop bigger as it caters to main lunches/dinner/Bf and gets over crowded. Also the food is on the expensive side, specifically the cost of the buffet are not justifiable or worth it. The gym should be better maintained and manned . It was like a hot furnace inside the gym.

The property itself is quite nice and pleasant however the way things are operated and the way staff treats the guest is beyond appalling. I wanted to take my 7 months pregnant wife for a getway babymoon since she cant travel long distance. I decided to book this resort as I had heard nice things about it. After I booked the resort, I called them to arrange a decoration for my wife with baby pictures. The staff who picked up said she will arrange a callback for me. Obviously I never got any callback. I called back again after 4 days and the same thing happened. After another 2 days, I called back and got hung up on. Finally I got an answer that they can't arrange these kinds of decorations cannot be arranged. This left me helpless as my checkin date was only 2 days away and I was left with no choice but to go ahead with the booking since I was not allowed to cancel anymore. For this, they offered me a complimentary cake which I never wanted and didn't care for. Before the checkout, I suggested my wife take a shoulder and foot massage. I called the spa and checked with them that if they can offer spa services to my wife and explained them that she is 7 month pregnant and just needed foot and shoulder massage. They said they can definitely offer it. I dropped my wife to the spa and went to reception for checkout. At spa, they refused to give her massage and provide cart to drop her and made her walk all the way from spa to reception at 2'o clock in the afternoon.

A great nature's retreat to soothe the senses. Esthetically made & well maintained. Staff was very curteous & eager to help.Child & family friendly activities like the mini zoo, the pool, indoor & outdoor kids play area, cycling, outdoor games & sports, are available. The one bedroom villa was a luxurious experience with a huge & splendid bathroom with a tub. All in all a great stay & very approachable place.

I booked a villa and it was really awesome. They decorated the room for our wedding anniversary which looked pretty nice! Food was good too, Staff was very courteous.

Nice resort. Staff particularly the restaurant staff have been very courteous. Badminton court could have been marked. The approach road to the resort needs to be repaired in many places - full of potholes.

Run down property

It was an extremely disappointing stay. The property is run down and needs refurbishment. We stayed at a luxury villa which did not have anything luxurious to it. The food was tasteless. Would never go back or recommend it to anyone. 👎

Great rooms, great staff, avoid paid activities.

I went there with my family and we ended up upgrading iur villa to royal villa which had a private pool. The villa was beautiful andvery well maintained, my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The food at the hotel was also top notch with very polite and courteous staff, we always felt welcome and had incredible service. The only down point was activities, it seemed the hotel outsourced the activities to a third party and the whole experience was very off and unpleasant.

Dissappointed!

Im guessing the Hotel has become complacent as a brand and about their services as rooms were not clean enough (private villa). The glass ceiling over the bathtub was very dirty like it had been not cleaned in ages! the Spa booking was confusing too, as while booking the same prior to checking in we were advised of options that didn't even exist when we reached there and had to re-book the same. Then there were the facilities in the resort like rifle shooting that looked like they just existed there for the sake of it... also , several menu items weren't available ! please chose an ITC or Taj Or Oberoi..My experience with Westin hasn't been that great!

Wouldn’t want to go here again

Was really disappointed with the place - we had travelled really far to spend a day in some peace . The structural part of the resort is good however the entire place lacked in basic customer service . Lip service anyone can give however it’s how you make your guests confortable it gets your actions is more important . Delayed to no service even though we reminded them 4 times . Staff clueless about the high tea area This is a first - chargeable ice cubes ! Chargeable woodfire while guests sat for dinner in the evening It felt like the communication was ‘ everything over and above your rental ‘ Wish we had selected a different place to enjoy our extended honeymoon !

OK Property. Not 5 Star or Upto Westin Standards.

We had a great 2 night stay at Westin Sohna. I shall share my feedback, which i hope shall help future travellers get an insight on the property. First the PROs: Great, well maintaned property, landscape, pathways, and good, comfortable rooms. CONs: Many. Not at all upto Westin Standards. Infact Not upto any 5 Star standard. In terms of service, amenities, and overall experience. Take this : 1. Rooms have a HD large sized LCD TV, but they have such a BAD cable TV connection, that the reception is extremely fuzzy across most channels. Infact some so bad that text is barely legible. Stuff which used to be 20-30 years back in Doordarshan Era. Plus so few channels, that we there was hardly a choice. Cmon we dont want to see NDTV and Zee News in such a resort ! 2. There was a frog in our room on our first day. This was when we had NOT left any doors/windows open. BAD ! 3. Resort lacks the finnese expected out of a 5 star property. Small things, which should be there, as per our expectations, were not there. Like no water @ breakfast. Had to ask thrice and wait for 10 minutes for someone to get us. No cereal bowls near ceral counter. When asked the waiter got a small Chutney bowl ! 4. Reception wasnt very warm and welcoming. Its not just getting you the welcoming drink. They need better people.

Great for a weekend getaway!

Very spacious and comfortable room. Lot many activities to do in the resort like karting, paint ball, fishing, horse riding etc.

We stayed for 2 nights , it was a good experience, a luxury stay , all was good but the food was very expensive, food quality was awesome, we had a premium villa it was really good and comfortable, overall it was a good stay

Need massive maintenance to handle monsoon

It's an awesome place for a weekend gateaway but devoid of preventive maintenance. The hotel roof leaked massively during dinner time leading to all customers leaving the room. Water seeped into our room during first shower of monsoon. Curtains need regular laundry. Staffs are courteous and very helpful.

Nice resort if you are not bothered about service

Overall a good property but needs some maintenance. Service levels need a remarkable improvement- it certainly is not up to westin standards. Lack of attention to detail, non attentive staff, terrible room service and the worse check out experience don't leave a good impression. May not recommend or stay here again.

Not comfortable to reach the resort. Due to roads condition adjoining the resort and parking etc not properly maintained. Air conditioning not cooling according to hot weather.

Relax during weekend

things were great except for vegetarian food. The food served during evening tea and Breakfast were not marked with red and green sign. vegeratian bakery items were very less as compared to non veg bakery items. all other facilities were execellant. they should improve upon veg bakery items.
