Good new hotel with not so good restaurant

Restaurant not good

Good stay at the Westin.

We always stay at this hotel. Other than the staffs who speaks very little english for an international hotel, everything else is up to standard.

The staff members wanted me to extend my stay through online, when I didn't get any internet service!

Food hotel

Was a very good hotel. However no good food options existed. Would recommend this to any short stay business traveler.

Great rooms and attentive staff, true Westin.

Modern, clean, well maintained and comfortable hotel in good location for business travel (maybe not the best for tourist travel as not in city centre). Great beds, nice bathroom. Executive lounge pleasant with limited food & beverage options but well staffed (was quiet when we were there). Received room upgrade and 5pm checkout which was a bonus. Nice general restaurant downstairs, however as the hotel backs onto Wanda plaza there are great food and beverage options close by (heaps of restaurants, Starbucks just around the corner plus shopping mall and department store). Staff very polite and attentive, limited English spoken but they always found a solution. The hotel website looks a bit iffy but the actual hotel is a true Westin offering with all their usual nice touches.

This Westin was not as good as others in China or other US brand hotels. The service was slow and the food was not very good.

Breakfast is a little bit monotonous compared to other hotels in similar level

I was happy with the hotel mostly... staff were friendly and helpful...except that the thermostat in the room doesnt really control the temperature in the room... the temperature was set in central control... you can run all the fan you want but the number wont go up or down...

The best panoramic views hotel

The hotel is facing near the sea and provide the best panoramic views.It has a full range of professional & high quality landscape services to meet the requirements of clients.The bedroom very spacious and cleanliness. The indoor swimming pool is suitable to swim even at winter season. There are many TV shows and big enough for couple to relax and watch the motive. The staffs are courtesy and helpful. It's great to stay at this hotel and l will come back again if l visit my relatives in Fuzhou.

Consistent with the brand

We met up with a few friends in Fuzhou and wanted to stay with a familiar brand. The hotel was well kept and the staff was courteous. The London taxis waiting in the lot were a definite welcome sight; however, they take you for quite the ride. We took a regular taxi to the train station for 30RMB; it was almost 70RMB to get to the same train station on the London taxis. We would recommend the experience as they are clean and well kept but just expect to pay more.

Overall is very good, but I'm don't like the hotel breakfast

Westin Fuzhou: comfort and convenience

My only quibble was the fake leather cover on the closet doors was badly frayed and distracting for an otherwise high-end room.

A wonderful hotel . Every points of contact with staff was friendly and handled well. Very comparable with the Shangri-La hotel at a better value. Would reccomend to friends.

Fuzhou Weston is not as good as I expect

The air con is centrally controlled and I can't adjust the room temperature. I felt stuffy when sleeping and the room was just too warm. The carpet is dirty. The leather surface of a headboard and a wardrobe has various noticeable damages. This sounds like a 3 stars hotel. What happened to Westin? I stayed at Shangri La before. I won't hesitate to choose Shangri La next time I visit Fuzou again.

Cocktails taste bad.

I ordered a mojito and double shots whiskey, and I only tasted soda in the mojito , and the double shot is not even a single shot in any other place . Don't order drinks there , they are not professional, I m kind of disappointed because they rate themselves five star hotel

It is possibly the worst Westin property I have ever stayed in 30 years of travel. Almost none of the staff spoke English .The food at the dinner buffet and breakfast buffet was of poor quality [the Beef at dinner tasted like Camel [really!] The buffet was never replenished once empty at 6:30 in the evening and the tables left dirty .No one took plates away from table ;etc ;etc. The room was ok but I asked for a King size bed and was given a twin bed room after the check in person confirmed that my room was a Kingsize bed during check-in . Simply said, there is no reason for Wastern people to stay at this hotel --it only wants the local Chinese customer --hence the namr change from "westin " to Eastin"

Very good hotel in Fuzhou

Very good hotel, amazing view from the Minjiang river, great location. Good service. You need a cap to use the pool. I would stay again.

逛萬達很方便

吃東西方便 附近有不少餐廳 便利商店也多 叫車方便 但離市中心有些遠 福州叫車在尖峰時間要注意 有時很難叫 尤其天冷早晚溫差大 這點要注意 天氣好時 坐公交也方便 飯店人員服務中規中矩

很棒的酒店，延遲退房也沒有問題。 但唯一的小問題是浴缸有點灰塵不夠乾淨。

每次出trip到福州，必定去这間酒店住，環境不錯，房間乾淨，整潔，好評

禮賓部服務很好，還外出幫忙買東西。 早餐很豐盛。

員工服務好，都很熱情幫忙解決問題，對客人很友善，也會詢問打掃等等。旅館舒適，位置還OK，一貫的WESTIN風格，附近的百貨公司跟餐廳很多，相當便利。

只能給4.5星級

일단 방이 다른 지역에 비해 넓어서 좋았습니다. 창밖으로 강도 보이고,, 필요한 물품도 깔끔하게 구비되어 있어서 편했습니다. 특히 개인적으로 베개가 정말 마음에 들어서 편히 잘 수 있었습니다. 다만 조식은 가격 대비 별로 였습니다. 그래도 전반적으로 만족해서 다음에 푸저우에 또 가게된다면 머물 예정입니다.

很長但很真實的推薦

我入住的是豪華標準客房， 房間很大，浴室空間也很棒，但水壓不足、水溫忽冷忽熱有點可惜， 很疑惑預訂時沒有含早餐的豪華標準客房可以選擇， 但也沒關係，飯店旁就是萬達廣場(百貨)， 有星巴克和麥當勞可以解決早餐， 就這點而言，威斯汀酒店擁有絕佳的地理位置， 住在12樓，從客房窗戶往外看， 能看到河景和其他高樓大廈，景觀算是不錯的， check-in櫃檯的服務尚可，禮賓部的服務極佳！ 預訂了前往機場的計程車，協助上車時還贈送兩瓶礦泉水， 而且非常客氣友善，讓我們心情愉悅的離開飯店。

not quite up to a member of SPG standard

the location is the best this hotel can offer ... the room is spacious but it's old with the leather on the wardrobe peeling and there are stains on the carpet .. breakfast isn't priced reasonably with the quality delivered ..
