Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My partner and I needed a place last minute and found this place. The place was a 4 min drive away from the esplanade yet secluded. The owners were very nice, showed us around and are very friendly. The room was spacious and modern with all the amenities we needed. It has top notch facilities and a view that was amazing. It’s safe to say this is the best place we have ever stayed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to people.

Pleasant Accommodation.

Nice, well equipped studios in a well run establishment. Pleasant pool area to relax around. The owner was onsite and provided lots of local information. The only negatives were the dreadfully slow wifi and the noise from the studio above ours. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Stayed only 1 night everything was as stated room was clean the bed was good

The hotel was very nice and the owner friendly. If we could suggest something, it would be to hang a few pictures up (It is a bit bare),and have a reading lamp. We were rather surprised about a note informing us that we would have to pay a fee if we did not wash the dishes... Otherwise, very recommandable.

A large cottage with country views

This was a perfect large cottage for two couples or a family. It is set in a beautiful rural area yet close to the surf coast and the town of Torquay. The pool and gardens are beautiful. It has large living areas with a well equipped kitchen.

Great place to stay

Very friendly owners and a comfortable modern room. Cloe to beach and local shopping restaurants etc. Have stayed a couple of times and it doesn't dissapoint.

No Stress Hotel

We turned up at 9pm & had no problems getting our room. Everything was clean & tidy & the hotel staff were friendly.

We were welcomed by Dale and family and had a wonderful time away in a great room with all the ammenities including tennis court and panoramic views of Torquay. Located only about five minutes from the town of Torquay we would highly recommend "View on Grossmans". Thanks again Haydn & Lucy

Great base for start of GOR

We stayed here on Thursday night as a base to start the GOR the next morning. Great little town and the View on Grossmans was very clean in terms of the toilet and bed. We had a comfortable night's sleep and was ready for our road trip the next morning. The view of the 'backyard' is amazing in the morning - no other buildings in sight :)

A good option just out of Torquay

I stayed one night here, having driven from Melbourne after a few days working there. There was initially a bit of a mix-up with my booking but fortunately it was all quickly sorted out. It was otherwise a friendly welcome with helpful advice on where to head for dinner etc. The room itself was a little unusual in its lay-out but was clean, comfortable and in very good condition.

Short and simple...cosy. Just what we needed...a place to rest and has enough facilities to make the stay enjoyable. Not modern...bit dated but place is suitable and satisfactory.

Nice place, if you want peace and quite

Very nice place, the rooms and bathrooms have been recently remodeled and everything is new and clean and modern. It's quite and away from it all, the view is overlooking a farm with the ocean in the distance yet it takes minutes to drive to town.

Rooms are only 1 year old The owner was very accomodating for us to stay another night when our sky jump got cancelled Great location near everything and all the information you could require on the surrounding area from the host Will definitely be back

We had a lovely stay...

Patricia & Dale and their family were especially hospitable and friendly. We had a lovely view of the pastures and pool from our room and were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation is modern and clean and had all the necessary appliances for a comfortable stay. We hope to stay again when we are in the beautiful place in the world!

It was an enjoyable stay albeit for one night. Just the people upstairs were noisy. The owners were lovely and helpful. We had bad weather so would like to return to use the pool and facilities.

Beautiful view. Very relaxing

The room was really modern, fairly newly built. Loved the view of the cows in the paddock. Pool looked beautiful even though it was too cold to swim. Room was spacious and great use of balconies both front and back.
