Staff made us feel so welcomed, comfortable, and practically like royalty. Room was very spacious compared to a typical hotel room. Plenty of closet space. Location was great. Close to shopping and a couple blocks from Metro. Walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. For a 5 star hotel, the room showed quite of bit of wear and tear.
Had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend
Hotel staff were very rude upon checking in. Had to wait over two hours past check in time. Was asked to leave a hotel lounge while waiting for room because they were having a private party. When asked where to go. Staff said if we buy alcohol we can stay in the hotel lounge. Had to go to restroom on the fifth floor because of private party only for people that were not even guests at the hotel. Was not able to eat at hotel restaurant as they were overbooked. The Pomme bakery did not have chocolate to make beverages such as hot chocolate or coffee drinks everything was sold out...long lines... again very rude staff... Our family stayed in the Towers and have stayed in the Palace in the past. The hotel service was subpar very rude and unprofessional. We had to handle our luggage to and from our room as well as bring our luggage outside and call an uber to return back to airport ourselves. Other hotel guests were upset as well. This could have been a Saturday Night Live skit... no joking... We will be staying at another hotel in the future. Don't waste your money staying here!!! So not worth it!!! Staff are too comfortable in their positions. Managment needs to be held accountable!!! What a shame this hotel has gone downhill in last two years.
Great staff
This is always a GREAT place for Christmas time. Best service, location and accommodations.
Such beautiful decor and views, generous room size and friendly professional service
Anna Marie was so kind in making sure we had everything we needed at the front desk. From the bell hop to the room service Everything was wonderful. Our view was amazing and our room was outstanding. It was perfect for our three generation girls trip. Thank you for all you do
Not exactly a 5 star experience. Location good. Views very good
it was a very nice and large room with excellent service and location was fantastic.
This property is very unique. Beautiful historic place.
Wonderful Hotel and the staff were all amazingly helpful and kind.
Great stay, perfect location. Minor touches in the room could be fixed to make it nicer
Property is dated, Old and worn furniture, worn carpeting. Stayed in the towers party of the hotel, and three condition of the hotel is not that of a 5 star hotel.
Excellent all around.
Hands down one of the best hotel stays
Everything is great here, and surprisingly quiet given the location.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in NYC and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The hotel itself is beautiful both inside and out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. The views from the room were amazing. I cannot recommend enough!
All good
Not only was the room clean and lobby beautiful. Management bent over backwards to accommodate my family 5 stars
Really good value in mid town.
This is a great place to say in Mid-Town. The towers start on the 45th floor. Ask for a room with one of the better views. Actually we thought for the size and quality of the room combined with the view, made this really good value.
Beautiful property!
Everyone was extremely pleasant
Our stay was fabulous. Staff was courteous, prompt and friendly. We will be coming back to stay again.
Smart hotel superbly located
The view from the room is great, overseeing the St. Patrick’s Church.
the incredible location I had a wonderful experience, want to come back
Went for business
NYC Palace
Amazing experience. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms with great views of the city. Beautiful property with a relaxing courtyard.
Location
Good location, but not sure why it was super loud with music throughout the night in the second and third nights, overall good.
Xxx
Beautiful hotel with incredible service, spacious rooms, excellent fitness center, and in a great location! I highly recommend this hotel in NYC!
high end property. Staff friendly but doormen do not open doors even when guests have their hands full. The spa is mediocre and overpriced, Could not find a bar open at 4 p.m. when I had a meeting.
This hotel is in the best location to EVERYTHING. The service is impeccable. The elevators in the Towers are a MAJOR problem. Even with use of the 3rd service elevator, had to sometimes wait 10 minutes for an open elevator. It was so bad it overshadowed much of the incredible service on behalf of the staff. The fact that none of the staff acknowledged or apologized for the elevators was irritating though.
Lovely stay, staff are very helpful throughout our stay
Packed for conference
In town for one night for a charity fundraiser. Location was great, but there was a large conference going on in the hotel at the time of our stay. Individual rooms were being used as breakout areas, elevators were packed, lobby was packed. Staff was overwhelmed. Based on the size of the conference, the hotel should’ve either been closed to other guest or guest should have at least been warned.
We had an absolute amazing experience at The Lotte Palace hotel . We were always greeted warmly by the doormen, concierge or any staff members. The rooms were comfortable and large by NYC standards. The views were incredible too. We loved our stay and will be back!
Staff was amazing!
Huge rooms, a little dated but the size made up for it, especially for New York
We were treated well and our room was a renovated one with an eastern exposure and a spectacular view from the 53rd floor. The blackout shade was a bit disheveled so it let in light in the morning and someone left the alarm clock on so it went off just before 6am and woke us all up. That was not pleasant. Aside from that we will definitely return next time we go see a show. So much more fun than driving in and back in the same night.
The staff were great.
Roomy room near Rockefeller center
Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Elevators are speedy. Hotel is elegant and clean. Perfect room size for a family of 4. When we arrived early, we were notified that our room was ready early and allowed to gain access without additional fees. SUPER appreciated this since we’re tired from travel. Location is convenient and walkable to many shops and restaurants including Central Park. Would definitely stay again!
Very nice
They gave away our room had no empathy suggested separating us from our kids. They were understaffed and overwhelmed. No customer service, Terrible!!!!
We have stayed here many times and it is always amazing. The staff is the best and always greets you with a smile. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, fabulous location. Love it - we will be back!
Excellent staff and location. It has big rooms for NYC. Great for families and long stays. Restaurant options are ok, but you have so many options in NYC.
The staff were top notch for first timers visiting New York. The hotel was beautifully decorated and always clean. Highly recommend.
amazing hotel, rooms in tower was beautiful with suberb view over NY
Hotel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in with over 30 years of traveling. Highly recommend.
No thermostat control. Old mattresses. Smart lighting but impossible to control, all or nothing options. No fridge. No mini bar. No coffee maker. Not supplied with extra TP. No options to eat before 5. Rude staff & concierge. SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
Everyone on staff were so friendly, pleasant and solicitous of our needs. The only disappointment was the limited availability of food/beverage services vis restaurants/lounges on the property.
Great location and great price point. Beautiful hotel …my second time there. Love it.
Loved the Lotte towers! Great location, large room!
I loved staying here ! Great service, everyone was so friendly and really accommodating to all my needs especially for my kids ! Highly recommend !
Everything went wrong from the get go, our room that was promised would be ready by 9 in the morning wasn’t ready until 1 hour 45 min after their check in time (3pm check in room was ready at 4:45 and not up to cleanliness standard). The mini bar was empty and filled with brown liquid on the bottom, the toilet ran for about an hour after any flush, stepped on a hard plastic nail (maybe carpet tack) so did they sweep or vacuum the room ? Alarm went off at 6 am because housekeeping never turned it off from previous guest. Rollaway bed wasn’t in room and set up like it should’ve been. 1 light switch didn’t work so manually had to be plugged from wall to turn off/on.
The view from our room was spectacular.
Best experience! Best customer service. Love staying at the Towers. Highly recommend Lotte New York Palace Thank you for an amazing experience
Excellent
Great hotel starting to fade
We’ve stayed at the Lotte a few times now. I don’t think we’ll be back. The service was adequate but certainly not impressive for a five star hotel at this price point. There are several others in the area that are in better condition and with better service for less money. Our shower drained slowly, the AC didn’t work, the toilet clogged, and our room was cleaned when we had the do not disturb sign out. The bathroom is terribly dated and awfully dark. The location is excellent, views are gorgeous, beds comfortable. But again, at this price point ($720/night for a double in the towers) there are better options.
Best stay in NYC !
Hotel staff was amazing! Everyone is very professional and friendly. Room service was fantastic.
Loved it!
What an amazing stay! Staff was exceptional…room amazing with wrap around views. Everyone from bellmen/desk staff/ housekeeping etc super nice. We have stayed multiple nice hotels in NYC…this is a return visit!!
great location and great hotel
Family trip to nyc
Hotel is central to most things. Location was fantastic. Clean and very friendly. The only issue we had was we need service in the room and had to call multiple time for house keeping. That was just one of the days but the rest was perfect. I would definitely come back - hire was nice and staff was moce. Family really enjoyed it
This was our first time staying here and It was an all around amazing experience. Everything about this hotel is exceptional, from the rooms to the staff. We could not have been happier, and will be staying here on our future trips to NYC. Special thanks to Miles and Elizabeth for going above and beyond to make our stay as memorable and pleasant as possible.
Service not in line with 5-star
Let me start by saying the concierge was great and managed to book us a few hard-to-get reservations including Carbone with only about a week's notice. The service otherwise was not what I'd hoped for. We booked a suite and when we checked in, the front desk person -Jimm- could apparently not be bothered to look me in the eye or greet me. He literally said two words, "ID and credit card". The next day we ordered champagne to the room around noon and, when we tried to order another bottle at 1pm, we were told that room service would not open again until 5pm. In-room dining, the concierge, and the front desk all told us that they could not accommodate the request. I realize this sounds petty but when we're spending over $1000 a night we should be able to get a bottle of champagne at 1pm? Two nights later we were told there was no one to bring us cups, or ice. Granted it was very late, so I understand that staff is limited, but when someone DID agree to bring us ice...it was in two gallon-size ziplock bags? We addressed these concerns with management as we were checking out, and they gave us a $200 refund, which was a nice gesture but I don't think we will stay here again.
The toilet didn’t work well kept running. The shower drain slowly the bathroom needs updating. They should take out the tub and make a nice larger shower. There was no in room courtesy bar. The breakfast menu in room was very expensive. The room is very nice and spacious. The control panel at bedside is a nice touch but individual control of the lamps was not available.
The property was stunning and the service was class A.
The view from our room was mesmerizing and every single request was met swiftly and with a smile. The coffee shop in the lobby was delicious and convenient. Proximity to Rockefeller Center, Saks, St. Patrick’s and a few blocks further to Times Square and Bryant Park was perfect! Can’t wait to return!
Location and Christmas decor was great. Service and food was amazing. The weird thing was there was no option to control the temperature inside the room. It was so bizarre we were stuck with 70 degree at all times. Their response was since weather is warm it has to be in heater mode. Otherwise the hotel was just perfect!
Impressive service at all levels. Glorious historic rooms showcasing the hotel’s legacy. Ideal location in midtown Manhattan.
Missed having a mini fridge/bar in the room and a sewing kit in the bathroom. Many great amenities, but no sewing kit when I needed one.
We have rented corner suites in the tower before and had a great experience but these apparently individually owned units so amenities are not consistent. There was no refrigerator in this unit just an old mini bar that didn’t work. Getting ice is an act of congress and was delivered in a paper bucket. Not what you’d expect from a five star hotel and at $1300 a night. Very disappointed this trip.
This was supposed to be an amazing stay- it wasn’t unfortunately.. We stayed for a milestone birthday but the hotel didn’t even acknowledge it - despite me sending them this information beforehand Very disappointed as it was my daughters 21st - they didn’t seem to care The doormen were fantastic and the view from the room was also amazing The rest was disappointing Front desk were just mediocre - not particularly friendly at all The concierge was the same The restaurant was actually terrible - the gold room and villard room are actually the same - don’t bother going The staff in the gold room were not good at all We had to ask for service The gin and tonic was flat and when I advised the server of this he simply bought me more tonic !! The breakfast service was terrible For a hotel that is supposed to be fabulous- this isn’t The good thing is the location - great to get anywhere and the rooms view was amazing There is a ridiculous high charge on room service WiFi is terrible and there is no coffee or tea in the room at all If you are paying this much to stay - I would recommend somewhere else
The property is in a great location and it very nice. We stayed in a tower room and it was very spacious, had great linens, slippers and robes. The gym has very nice equipment. The only things I would say they could improve would be the staff at the towers check-in, not very welcoming, and the bathroom had a dated tub/shower. We definitely would stay here again, and will!
Pleasant Surprise
The location of this property is A+ We had a junior suite on the 42nd floor which was excellent. Mid stay for internal operational reasons we were asked to move to a different room, and as a very pleasant surprise we were moved to the presidential suite on the 50th floor- the suite was exceptional in all respects . Francesca at senior management was fabulous on the room moving . The hotel staff in general were friendly and helpful Room service / in room coffee etc. is the only aspect that needs to up its game - this seems a trifle out of sync with all else -perhaps the last remnants of the pandemic effect.
Please don’t stay at this hotel
I had great expectations for this hotel but was consistently let down. Broken beds, broken phones, overfilling, refusing to provide receipts, rude managers at night/morning… extremely awful. Please don’t stay here.
Run away from this place !
Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed.
Pick a different hotel
I called the head of time to ask if I could check into the room early. I was told yes. I had to wait in the lobby for over four hours before my room was ready. After checking in, my room was in such poor condition I had to be moved.
Disturbing experience
The mattress had metal sticking out of it. The hotel admitted that the mattress hard not been changed for a very long time. They could not find a replacement and put me in a different room.
We recently returned from a 5 day family vacation to NYC. Absolutely loved our stay. Spacious room for a prime midtown location with a beautiful view. The room clearly had a recent facelift and was not dated. The staff were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel was renovated from an a 1880's mansion. One night our server offered to give us a tour of the mansion. You could see how proud the employees are of their hotel. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.
Our stay was amazing it was so amazing from the view to the service and food just amazing
Not a 24 hour hotel
Desk hours are NOT 24 hours. I got in from a late flight and they would not check me in I had to find another hotel in the freezing NYC night.
Fabulous Christmas Holiday Treat 🎄
What a fabulous place to stay for Christmas 🎄 Staff were lovely, breakfast was fabulous and it has been a fantastic place to stay. Can’t thank staff enough
Lovely stay at an iconic hotel
What a beautiful & well located hotel. No wonder it was used for filming Gossip Girl. The courtyard was unfortunately closed during our stay but the stairs leading to it and the gates were festively dressed for the holidays. Views of the city from the Tower were amazing. Breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful.
No restaurant, limited room service. Very friendly staff though
EXCELLENT
Great family trip
Fantastic location. Best customer service. Very pricey parking but it is NY so cant complain there. Gym was a pain in the butt with the 7AM-6PM policy and sign up.
Property and staff was amazing.
I love this hotel. But it was quite inconvenient that the elevators were under construction so instead of 3, we had to use one with significant delays. Also, the lady in the concierge was least helpful when requested tickets to a local event and suggested a broker with a fee that was double the tickets' price. We were able to secure them directly and at their regular price.
The staff are wonderful, but the main elevators were down to begin with and then the service elevator broke down. Not great when you are on the 43rd floor. They only have 1 coffee shop and no restaurants. The prices were already too high, and then they nearly doubled them during our stay. A cup of fruit for $7.50 in one thing but changing it to $15 over night wen there are no other restaurant options in the hotel is too much.
Amazing
Amazing experience. Definitely my go to hotel in NYC
Didn’t like elevator. Didn’t like that there was no coffee in room. Didn’t like that their was no brochure explaining room service and other services. Place overpriced.
love Lotte
We love the location of the hotel as well as the size of the rooms and the cathedral view. It is usually our go to hotel in New York.
Always amazing staying here... one of my absolute favorite hotels. Delivers consistently
Was such an amazing place to stay at. I’ve stayed there a few times before and I love it...
Not worth the price. Part of it are 5 star but others are not. Cheaply renovated and from service way overpriced.
Beautiful hotel and was in great location within walking distance to everything
Lotte best in NY
Like always, lotte is the best in new york, so chic and luxurious everyone is so generous and lovely, hotel room with cathedral view is incredible
Well, this was very strange. The hotel is crazy beautiful and nice but i had a problem with the reservation. I booked through Expedia and they were not going to back the reservation. I even bought insurance because i was a little leary of the reservation to begin with. The hotel itself said they had no open reservations but i was able to book the last suite through Wxpedia. When i got there, they refused to uphold the reservation. I had a confirmation number and a copy of my reservation. They ended up giving me the suite but charged an extra $1000 for my stay. 3 nights. I didn't agree or think it was right but i really love the hotel and the location is perfect. Walking distance to my office.
