Great place to stay outside of OC!

It was a great place to stay out of the town of OC for a festival. You could walk there or take the Park N Ride bus shuttle over to the division street bus station. We would definitely stay here again. Only thing I wish they had in the room was a fridge and microwave, but we made it work. Thanks for having us.

Cute in-expensive place.

No tissues, door key didn’t work took 30 min to open, no one on site during hurricane rain had to walk to Microtel next door and wait 30 min soaking wet to get a room.

Because it was technically off season in Ocean City I didn’t realize the office was closed however, the property manager is also the property manager for the hotel that shares the parking lot and that’s where we had to check in. All of the staff is amazing. The property was clean. We enjoyed our 3 night stay during bike week and will return next year. Thank you guys so much.

Pretty good for the price

Everything was good only thing I did not like was the last night there the people next door to us was making a lot of noise like 2 am in the morning and playing extremely loud music. Otherwise had a great experience.

I enjoyed my stay here. Near shopping, gas drugstores, entertainment and food options. Away from the crowd of the beach, but close enough to the beach to have a good day.

We rented a room for August 10 -one night- as we were in town for a wedding. We realized if was the same weekend as the White Marlin tournament. So we were not surprised that rooms were scarce, and even more expensive than usual. No one we talked to was familiar with Shore House, not even family members who live nearby in West Ocean City. But hotel rooms were hard to find. So we made the reservation When we arrived we were immediately disapointed to see the property, sort of hidden behind the Microtel. I think it’s rather dishonest to advertise it as a hotel when, practically speaking, it’s a two story motel. The room seemed clean enough, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was tiny - but all we really needed was a bed for the night. But it would have been nice to have a mini fridge, or at least a coffee maker. All in all this room was pretty Spartan for $300 and having been charged that much we were expecting.more for our money.

I book at this hotel and they didn’t do house keeping and we had to go an request new towels every time we needed, also they say breakfast included and all the have was some dollar store muffins and bagels with coffee that all they have with some apples and cream cheese, Plus the wifi they have was terrible and there is no reception at all in the area unless you drive 1/5 miles away from the hotel

Easy location and staff is helpful and courteous

It was a clean hotel overall if you want daily room clean it’s at request. The only thing was the A/C water drip on the walk area outside someone could fall in the water. The porch area where everyone walk at no chairs to sit outside like in the morning maybe cause it’s a small area . I liked that they had did the rooms and had fresh paint nice for a rest spot . Someone had a dog and it was barking loudly. My room was next to the pool so you can hear people talking loudly and children screaming as they were playing in the pool that’s fine love that they had fun just not good for an afternoon nap. It’s far from the airport though for me I had to use a Uber which can be costly. They did offer pool towels and new towels once you turned in the old ones . They also offer a Continental breakfast which is nice the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall not a bad place .

This place is horrible, the rooms specifically stated they had every room with a refrigerator and microwave but when u get in the room it doesn’t have any and the staff says it’s for limited rooms. Then theirs an ant infestation if I could upload a video I would. I didn’t feel safe to sleep in the room so I complained to the front desk but they were no help said they was bringing a tech guy or something but they never came. Also the tv doesn’t work and their all rude

This motel was conveniently located & comfortable

Not sure why there’s so many bad reviews on this place. It’s probably the best hotel/motel you can stay in that i’ve saw in ocean city for half the price as the other ones. the rooms are very nice and so is staff. got to check in 6 hours early with no added fee and the complimentary breakfast is nice. definitely am staying here again. don’t listen to the bad reviews i feel as they are ai or other hotel staff down talking this one.

Staff very friendly and the location was great

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights to check out ocean city. The female receptionist with dreads was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the AC was very good. The WiFi however sucked 😭 I could not use my phone. The breakfast was okay. I would stay here again if needs be.

room clean and tidy but it was super noisy. i was on the first floor and you can hear the conversations from all the people around. if i was to stay there again definitely not the first floor

It’s affordable and decent. Staff is very friendly and nice. The room smelled like smoke and there were no non-smoking options. Once the A/C kicks on the smell disipated, but would come back every so often. Could be a bit cleaner, toilet had some staining and there was hair in a few places. Some dirt around faucet and wall areas. Bedroom light was bright near the bed area. No microwave or mini fridge, but not necessary. It was fairly quiet area, slept well. Simple stay for one night. Pool area looked super clean, did not use. Office is clean and breakfast was included. To-go grab items and convenient.

Very clean and nice. Newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds and very close to the go karts, shopping, etc. The only drawbacks are noise from above, you can hear footsteps from time to time. I would recommend a room on the second floor. Also the light from the hallway comes in through the blinds. Other than that we had a great time!

Quiet place. Made the best of our 3 night stay. No microwave, no refrigerator, no table or chairs to sit on, had bugs. Floor was dirty.

It was miss leading when you searched with traveling with pets. So we bring them. Just to be told to leave. It's not a good practice. We left and had to cut our stay in ocean City. We couldn't afford to go somewhere else. So we went home early.

The check in process was unclear and inaccurate. The site said the office was open until 11:30pm for check in but they were closed before 11pm and it was not clear what to do after that. Luckily we were able to figure out to go to the Microtel onsite to check in in their lobby. They did not clean the room each day either.

I traveled from NY and on my way, I called and asked if I could check in early. The girl on the phone told me yes, by 1 or 1:30 pm instead of 3 pm. I got there at 1:30 and conveniently, the computers were down. Then, to my surprise, I didn’t know the rooms weren’t cleaned everyday. And what really set me off was the day of check out, my family and I packed our stuff but left it in the room so we can go out for breakfast. We got back to the room at 10:30 and a lady was already cleaning my room. I hadn’t even checked out yet. Check out time is 11 am!!! Horrible place. Only good thing is their pool.

It was a pleasant stay here. The rooms are small, but clean and everything worked in my room. The staff was friendly and pleasant. No chairs or table in the room so I'd suggest bringing a folding chair and a snack table if you're going to spend much time in your room. Based on previous reviews I brought along both :-). I'd recommend a stay here for a budget vacation or a weekend get away.

Nice get away close to the beach

Clean, convenient

The room was spotless, but very small. Didn't bother us as we weren't there much. The staff were great, cheerful and helpful. Convenient location to Ocean City, Berlin and Assateague.

I didnt like you had to pay for a microwave and refrigerator. For $300 a night i woul think that this would be included. The staff was excellent verry nice. But the room wasnt worth what i paid for it.

The front desk worker was extremely rude, the room was filthy, the WiFi didn’t work, and we were told there would be no breakfast as advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone

The room was very nice and comfortable but awkward opening the blinds to the walkway where anyone could look in. The staff was very friendly!!

Terrible morning service

The lady who checked my family and I in was very polite and respectful. However all that changed the next morning. I called down to the lobby at 10:04 asking if I could get a 12 o’clock check out being as though we have a long trip home and our baby kept us up a huge chunk of the morning. The lady told me yes. However, we had several people come to the door in between that time and one even tried to enter. Then we received a call asking if we were leaving at 11:30. Now usually I don’t leave a review but the way the employees acted when I expressed my frustration was unprofessional. The first guy I saw I told him my frustration, he walks off shaking his head. Then a lady was watching me and decided to walk up and ask the problem. I express my frustration she attempted to cut me off and then walked mumbling and making hand gestures. Then she walked into the office to tell the guy I spoke to something making the same hand gestures. No apologies were made there was no act of consideration. And I did not feel like they cared. Will not be staying here again.

The room I had had tons of ants the last day I was here. Highly disgusting. It was an average place. Just needed somewhere to stay, that was affordable. The pool is small, for 2 hotels sharing it. My next door neighbors were partying and loud, all hours of the night, so that was lovely. Other than that, it was fine. Water took forever to get hot. Looks newly renovated. I’d recommend if you’re going to go to the beach get up early (before 8:30) because 50 starts to get backed up by then.

They do not give the housekeeper service, and clean towels.

Staff was great, room was clean and ready, when I got there. Was a perfect spot for an overnight trip. The remote for the TV was the only issue.

Rooms are upgraded clean but (very) small and simple. No fridge/coffee maker in the room as expected in a motel type lodging. The outdoor areas appear a bit more outdated, but overall clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly at check-in. OK for a couple of nights when the days are spent elsewhere.

Great place at a great price

Good clean room. It would have been nice to have a table and chair, but the goal was to have a nice clean room for an economical price. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and courteous.

Decent accomodations

It's a decent place to stay, have been there before. Just basic room, TV, WiFi, pool. Only thing missing was a mini fridge. I had assumed they were in all rooms, but they are not in the one bed rooms.

We just wanted a place to stay before heading to the beach for the day. It was clean, quiet, and a perfect place to stay for one night!

Rooms are small, no mini fridge or microwaves in room. However the rooms are very clean, with a tv and AC. Realistically it’s all you need for short stays. Would use again in a pinch. Has access to a pool and hot tub from next door hotel which was nice as well.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this place! Our room was clean and the tv and fridge worked great! We didn’t use the pool since we only stayed one night, but we loved the location and the room was perfect for the two of us! Try not to look away from this place just because of the bad reviews from people who didn’t actually stay there. The price was great and the staff were so friendly! 5 stars!!!

Decent for the price

Stayed 3 nights. Room wasn’t cleaned once, doesn’t list about a $75 charge until arrival. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful though.

Room was very small! Floor was dirty. Wouldn’t walk around without shoes on, same as my boyfriend. Bathroom was in horrible condition too. Rod insert for the shower curtain was falling out of the wall. Shower was not very clean either, as my boyfriend and I both wore flip flops/ slides while showering. It’s obvious behind the bed does not get vacuumed very often as my boyfriend dropped something behind the bed and said it was covered in nothing but hair. After seeing the room I had actually went to the front desk and told the man I wanted a refund. As he informed me he’s not in charge of that and I would need to contact the manager in the AM. I had also notified the front desk receptionist that I was not comfortable with staying there as there was a strange guy walking around the parking lot barefooted looking into peoples vehicles. All the receptionist told me is he knew the guy I was talking about and he was waiting for someone and that he had been in his room since. I was not very happy with the fact I could not get a refund as my boyfriend and I were both very unhappy and dissatisfied! I will never get a room at this hotel again!

Love it! Check in was easy and fast and staff was very professional and friendly and helpful! Room was very clean and loved the bed! Very clean the entire hotel!

It was cheap but still decent. The room was clean, staff friendly and environment was quiet. Only complaint is the "complimentary breakfast" consisted of apples, coffee and toast and the office didn't open to start serving breakfast until after 9am.

It was close to boardwalk and seemed recently renovated.

I have never stayed in a hotel room before where the room with the queen size bed and tv was about a 10x10...very small

The staff was never there when they said they would be, especially after 5pm when they should’ve been there later than that. There was an ant infestation in our first room but no one was there to assist us in the matter so we couldn’t stay for one of the two nights. The next day the property manager was kind and helped us choose a different room, one of which also had a few ants there as well. The same day we came back to our motel room around 10 pm and no one was there despite the manager telling us she would be there until 12am, so when our key cards refused to let us in, we couldn’t get any help and had to goto the microtel across the stress for someone to let us in via master key. The pool is awesome and has a hot tub but overall the room situation made it quite an unhappy stay.

Friendly helpful staff

We booked this for bike week. Convenient location, clean room, it is small but we knew that when we booked this. Had an issue with hot water and within an hour maintenance was on the way. He explained that it takes a little while for the water ro warm up because the location of our room was so far away from the hot water heater. We had to let water run for about 5 minutes before it got hot. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The pool was an added bonus! If you are a smoker there is a designated area located pretty far away from our room and did not want to go there at night alone. If you are checking out before 9 a.m. when the office opens we were instructed to leave the keys in the room. It was a pleasant stay.
