Give your senses a refresh

Good location close to the action of Bangla Street but allows you to have some distance for your own mental well-being. Cute bars nearby to have a drink and Four 20 friendly shops as well. The highlight of the hotel is in the hospitality displayed by the staff - special shout out to Peter and Pat who went above and beyond. Will definitely drop by again. K-Man.

Great place lovely rooms with a beautiful view

It’s my fourth time starting at the Senses and it is as good as ever - staff and service excellent and a great spa too

Wey nice property.

The staff team is amazing and professional. Very kind and helpful in our activities planning. The selections and the quality of the breakfast buffet could be improved but so far so good. The interior building is a bit old but very clean and comfortable, the staff doing very well in cleaning. The Swimming pool is brilliant in condition and size. Love this swimming pool very very much. Had 2 lunches at poolside restaurant, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. Overall very pleasant experience and would love to come back again.

My family stayed in one of the two bedroom villas. It was one of the best Thailand experiences we had! Our villa was so quiet and the pool was amazing. We even used the hotel pool for happy hour and had a great time there too. I can’t believe how kind and helpful all of the staff are! The only recommendation we would have is that they upgrade their menu.

Its an old tired property. The room I had was nothing to write home about. You need the different lifts to get to the there. The room is poorly arranged. It just not worth the price. But the pool area is the only good thing about the hotel.

It was our second time staying at The Senses pool villas, we will be back. It is our favorite place to stay! Staff are the best & the villa is amazing.

Solo traveler. I was extremely happy with the staff, service and the property. Everyone was super friendly, good food and the property was nice and clean. Close to stores, restaurants, and bars/lounges. Free shuttles to the beach. Only issue is the lighten in the rooms, but overall amazing experience.

Amazing rooms. Amazing services. Genuinely the best views of Phuket available. Transportation is perfect also between villas and rooms and the city and everywhere.

Friendly staff, always very helpful

Fine place to stay on the outskirts of patong and close enough to walk to everything in the town. Quiet at night and a wonderful setting with attentive and happy staff

The staff were very friendly and extremely happy to offer assistance. A special mention to a young lady called Queen, what a tremendous staff member. she made our stay at this resort a memorable one. The location is fantastic and all the services provided were exceptional. i would highly recommend this Resort and would definitely be back. S&P Gatt

A great stay that boast beautiful beach & city views. Great breakfast with lots of options. Complimentary rides to the beach and up/down rides from lobby to street.

I was at the resort from 13-18th Aug and my birthday fell on the 15th. On my birthday, I was waiting for a cab at the hotel lobby when the hotel reception staff came and wished me happy birthday. They brought a cake and the entire team began singing the birthday song. This really warmed my heart. I've been to Patong and several other parts of Thailand the past few years. But never have I received such exceptional service from any other hotels. The staff of The Senses Resort have genuinely provided me an unique experience that I will never forget. From the cleanliness of the room, pool and toilet, to the changing of towels daily and staff that were eager and genuine to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The only gripe I had was the fact that the hotel was a little far from the beach and it was difficult to get a grab or bolt at this location. This could probably could be solved with renting a bike for the stay. I sincerely hope to come back again one day. Thank you so much.

It was very spacious room and toilet. Liked it so much.

The stay was good, the staff and service very pleasant although the hotel felt quite dated, which obviously has had little money spent on upkeep the last couple of years.

We arrived at 4pm ( check in is 2pm) room want ready. They couldn't find my reservation. When I checked out another couple was having the same problem. Truly a lovely hotel with incompetent management.

Did 3 nights in the regular hotel and 2 nights in the villa. Pool was great, the fitness area was ok. The rooms were clean and spacious! The villa.. wow just wow the view was nothing short of spectacular. Loved it expensive but damn was it worth it. Also the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Also the lady who I can’t remember that helps with the tours is great.

Liked the location the room, very glad we could not hear the building going on next door from the room, something you could not avoid at the swimming pool could explain why very few where taking advantage of a great pool.

Phuket getaway

Hotel location acceptable situated on a small hill so rooms have view of the city n skyline below. Room big compared to hotels in Hong Kong but bathroom amenities so so. Hotel operates a shuttle bus per schedule to the beach and the main shopping mall and walking less than 15 min so makes getting around easy. Breakfast is so so more dishes on local food but nice view overlooking the city below. Stay ok for a locally run hotel but a bit pricy when tax added on !

Really nice hotel, not yummy breakfast

The hotel, the room, and the staff were top notch however the mattress was quite hard to sleep on, and breakfast was below standard. The lobby, lifts and the areas connecting the rooms were not air conditioned and really hot. Also, walking back to the hotel is quite hard as it’s up the hill and should have those golf cars handy for residents. The lady at the tour desk was really helpful and friendly.

Amazing staff who made is feel at home!

this property is in a nice spot on a mountain with ripper views, and far away from patong to not be flooded by noise. the walk to patong is pretty easy ~15 minutes, there are plenty of good restuarants and the banzaan market an easy walk. the pool is very big and lovely, nice bar with stools in the pool. the staff will drive u down the driveway and there are buses to patong every other hour or so. breakfast is superb, i would recommend this hotel

Room was spacious and the pool was really nice. Resort is conveniently located and easy to get around. Breakfast could be improved though. I'd prefer a better layout and more local food

Views from my room is not bad, but service really bad, housekeeping always forget refills shower gel and shampoo, don’t change the towels. The toilet always clogged, even we didn’t throw any paper into the toilet already, but still clogged. Breakfast also taste really really bad, all juices are mix so much water, No taste at all, it is just like dish-water. On last day when checking out, we have been told that we lost their tote bag, but we don’t even know they have a tote bag in room since first day we checked in. However after 15 minutes they told us they had found the bag already. Wasted our time. The housekeeping service in this hotel is the worst I have ever ever seen.

Good location, nice hotel

Hotel is located in a very nice area, and tucked away off the main road. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Only thing to watch would be the room you book, I booked a deluxe room, it turned out to be a basement room with a balcony that looked out onto a bush a nothing else, with no elevator access down to it either!! However the staff were very helpful and upgraded me for a small fee. There is also plenty of moped hire places within a 10 walk from the hotel!! I would recommend this hotel!!

The villa private pool was the most amazing thing. The view looked amazing - sea view was the best. Cannot fault the villa

Okayiish

I booked a room for 2 adults, my issue they only leaving one very small soap if any, one shower gel. At first I used to call the front desk and explain that we are 2 adults, ask them to bring one more, then I got tired from of calling and I bought my own from outside. It’s not a big deal but if I’m paying triple the price compared to other hotels I expect at least a better service. Everything else was ok.

Must stay in the pool villas!! The villas are in great condition, and the pool is awesome.

The cleanliness is not acceptable as a 4 star hotel. I found dirty duvet sheet, dirty pillow case, bath towel with stain. The shower room is full of black mould. I have read the reviews about this hotel before making the decision, in 1/10 there is a bad comment. I thought it was just a rare case. However, don’t ever think you are the lucky one. I don’t even want to talk about the hospitality of the staff. You will have better choice in phuket.

A little aprehensive when booking as our first trip to Patong, Phuket. But loved the spot on the hill above Patong, keeps a breeze on the hottest days. The view day and night just magic, and a great sized swimming pool with bar and light meals. Found the staff very friendly and helpful, even under pressure. Great service. Rated the breakfast buffet, plenty of choice for all tastes. Fresh fruits, pineapple and water melon. Only point that may worry some would be the steep drive to walk down. But they do have a shuttle that runs to the shopping centre. Will be back to stay again, thanks so much.

Top pool villa room at Senses

Absolutely mind-blowing! Great service quality with stunning view over Patong Beach at the pool villa room. Totally unforgettable and wish to stay a little longer. Definitely recommended to those who would like to catch a breather from the hectic city or creating a romantic honeymoon moments.

Like the cleanliness ,but could improve by having a buggy pick up point below at the entrance instead of having to have to make the tedious walk up slope .

Great location, superb villa... but the service...

The villa was perfect Amazing view from the pool, clean, modern. Service was not up to expectation : lots of wrong orders with room service (missing item, wrong item etc) and we were suppose to have sparkling wine on arrival but it never came. I asked for it the next day and still didnt show. We also did laundry service which took 2 days...

Breakfast - same stuff every day, hence when we were heading to phi phi island and requested for breakfast to be sent to the villa, it was refreshing to find that the menu is slightly different Food - tasty Thai food, had room service for a few days. The strange part was that even though when we check in, they mentioned that there’s free sparkling wine, it never came. During room service, the staff asked if we had gotten the sparkling wine and we say we did not, but yet, it still wasn’t sent to the villa. Villa condition - excellent (bathroom hanger is spoilt on one side though)

great hotel, staff were great, breakfast was pleasant. hotel was spotless clean, 5 minute walk to downtown Patong very very busy and FULLj of russians. Personally I will not return to Phuket, it has gone downhill and expensive but if you do go i would recommend the Sensis resorti

This is my 2nd time staying at this resort and I enjoyed myself once again! The location is great if you are planning to stay in Patong Beach area. I was given a high level room which means I get to have sea view from my balcony. Lots of fresh air! They have a great pool as well, if you want to just laze in the resort. Breakfast wise, just the basic stuff. If you staying for a few nights, might get a bit bored with the food varieties. But tons of places to eat just outside the resort.

A kind of disappointing to this hotel. The staff helped me to check in was not professional. They gave a room with the twin bed, which I requested double and get confirmed via Expedia booking though my booking was made 1 day advance (I know it is very late booking). I requested my double bed room back, however the guy initially told me that you made late booking and they don’t have other room. My initially thought was “how come, you confirmed my booking”. I finally got changed to a right one l. Besides, they gave me the room at lowest floor which does not have escalator. I have to manage my luagge to go up and down for 2 floors myself. The breakfast was same as other reviews. It didn’t looks like a breakfast in 4 stars hotel.

Amazing Holiday

Me and my husband spent one week here during xmas holidays. We booked the room with balcony and ocean view. Everything was amazing, very friendly staff and super clean resort.

Enjoyable time

everything was great about this hotel, the only disadvantage was this Hotel was located on top of hill, which was not so convenient if you didn't have the vehicle to get up there, Hotel staff were nice to give us lift sometimes but not always.

The pool is great except some of the chairs have big holes in them! The breakfast was disgusting and the coffee so terrible I couldn’t drink it! The breakfast is set up for Asian people so if you like Chinese food for breakfast you’ll be fine. They would be better to not have such a huge variety of dishes and just concentrate on serving a few good ones! Also get new coffee please, also some cream for the coffee. Ordered a cappuccino that I had to pay for and it was so disgusting I made them take it off my bill!!

Wow wow wow wow!!!! Best.Hotel. Ever! My husband and I stayed in their brand new villa 1 bedroom. When we originally booked we knew it would be pretty nice but it wasn’t until we got there that our minds were blown! Just entering the space put our faces in awe. First of all you enter into an outdoor setting where you see your private infinity pool. The staff guides you in your room and Shows you around. Everything is modern and beautifully made. The shower is AH-mazing, Took 3-4 showers a day just because it wa so nice. We had a packed fridge with free drinks and fruit as well. This hotel is LITERALLY everything you could ever want....and MORE. Cons: every other hotel in your life will be a disappointment after staying here

Great staff and hotel, however they were doing renovations while we were there

Great location and very friendly staff. You can walk to patong beach and the night market from the hotel. They do offer a shuttle but I never took it. I stayed in the 1 bedroom villa which was really nice and would definitely recommend it because it has all the amenities and an infinity pool. There is a very steep hill but you can get a ride to the bottom so walking isn’t necessary.

Had a wonderful stay at Senses. Staff are very friendly and helpful, facilities where great, Rooms comfy. The location perfect for being close to the life of the town but not in the middle of it.

Great people. We rented one of the new Villas on the property. They are amazing! Great private pool and awesome views of the ocean and city.

Senses Hotel

Great 2nd stay at Senses... Parts of the hotel is looking a bit tired. The decking around the pool & bar area isn’t good... The rooms are a good size,but the beds are really hard... Hotel food is good as is the breakfast... plenty of variety...

One of the Best Experiences Ever !!!

The view and hotel itself was wonderful and relaxing however the staff and their hospitality was the cherry on top on the cake. Really down to earth and genuine people who would try to make sure our stay was pleasant one. Would recommend this place to everyone.

It's a good location not too close and not too far from the bustling area. The resort itself is very nice. The staff was very helpful and kind. I have to mention Ken who was very helpful and offered great resort credit to use.The other feature is the pool area, which is amazing. It's proximity to fantsea is about 30 mins by car and airport is about 40mins to hour. On the downside we were very disappointed with the quality of the food available. Definitely need to improve. Spa was a big let down as well. Parents took the Thai massage couple promotion and it was really bad and there response was since it's a promotion that's why. The housekeeping was not consistent and had to ask a couple times to remove trash from the room. All in all 3.5 rating.

Brilliant resort

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Lovely resort and super-friendly and polite staff. Excellent food and cocktails too. I will be back!!

The most friendly staff i have come across. Great Management! Room, restaurant, pool all really good. Room cleanliness could have been a bit better, mirrors, shower, balcony cleaned . Apart from the slope you have to climb, i would recommend this hotel

Breakfast needs improvement

Staff is very kind and helpful. Overall is value for money, but the content and varieties of the breakfast should improved. Otherwise clients will be reluctant to come again if breakfast persists the same as before

Beautiful hotel, well trained staff were all super helpful, friendly and kind. The shuttle service was such a bonus, always on time & a great way to meet other guests. All so clean and well run & infinity pool awesome. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with an amazing choice. If we could remember all your names we would thank you personally.....especially Na & Moo Moo in restuaurant & Pat on the tours desk who all took time to help us with our Thai phrases! We hope to see you all again, thank you.

Staff friendly splash mountain bar staff were awesome. However the room cleaning needs to be better ie clean towel s everyday clean benches, replace coffee every day , clean sheets to. Clean vanity toilet and shower to .overall the stay was good

Strongly recommend

It’s been my only choice since my first stay on 2014. The room was well equipped, clean and comfort, view was briallant. When ever you meet the staffs, they all greet you with smile. Appreciated for the service from Front Desk staffs, Bellmen and the Room Attendants who been make up my room specially Asst. Front Office Manager, Duty Manager - Christine and Sr. Front Desk agent - Ms. Pang. It feels like return home. Hotel location is great, it takes only 3-4 minutes drive to Jungceylon with lots of shops, supermarket and restaurants or they provide schedule shuttle bus to take you and pick you up there. The Senses will be the only choice in my future. Looking forward to stay again soon.

Nice hotel

It's nice and clean although the facilities a bit old but still acceptable. Friendly staff, and you can plan and rent for motorbike for your travel from the travel agent boots just station in the hotel, rent a motorbike in just 300 baht.

Great resort

Great stay. Great staff. Location isn’t for everyone but having been numerous times to Thailand it was great for us. Free shuttle to shopping centre and beach half hourly and return. Also free shuttle and entrance and bed at paradise island.

Nice and cozy

Couldn't ask for more!!

We were impressed from the moment we arrived...our room was spacious with a fab view and deck over the pool area. The staff are just beautiful, always smiling and eager to help. The place is lovely and clean and pool are pool side bar are fantastic. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed at the Senses Resort for two weeks and had a great time all the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were fantastic so friendly and helpful ,will definitely stay here again enjoyed the pool and cocktails at happy hour

Great pool, free shuttle services

Offered free upgrade to suite with a Jacuzzi, the room was beautiful but we turned it down so we could have direct access to the pool. Used free shuttle service to phuket town for shopping at central plaza, good options at breakfast, very comfortable rooms

Family Holiday

A great hotel close enough to all the action, but far enough away to feel like a hill-side retreat. Facilities were great and we made use of the little bar with the pool table every night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again on our next visit to Phuket

View was amazing from the suite!! It’s total worth if you stay in suite. Reaching Patong Beach was easy and very close by!

Not good for the price

For a 4 star resort, I must admit we expected more. Hotel staff were kind, but not overly helpful. They gave us an upgraded room-which was wonderful and had a fantastic view! However, the room smelled and was not clean. (Hair on the floors and in the shower). We were there several days and I had to call everyday for someone to come makeup the room. (I was calling around 3 pm as we had been out all day!) The first day the bed was made, but nothing was cleaned, our used coffee mugs were still there, etc. This continued throughout our stay. Whenever I contacted reception, they would apologize and send someone fairly promptly. The pool is clean and cool! Breakfast had lots of options and was good, excepting the coffee which was awful. On checkout they had someone go through the room to make sure we hadn't damaged/stolen anything. They seemed very upset at us when they didn't see a beach bag right away. They eventually did find it, but I didn't appreciate the hassle over such a (seemingly) disposable item. Overall, great views, nice rooms (if cleaned!) but not for the price. And, sadly, don't expect resort service.

Nothing to fault !

Everything was perfect right from the beginning. A warm welcome by the front desk as soon as we arrived. Everyone without exception were supefriendly. Great location, room, service, buffet, pools and other facilities. Basically, it is the best hotel I've ever stayed in so far. Definitely worth the money I've spend on. Excellent Location & Friendly staff

I got into my desired room with perfect View of Patong town and sea. breakfast included with plenty of options in buffet. Not to forget, staff are always smiling and helpful. My next trip, i would definitely consider this resort.

Could be great!

Nice hotel with great pool! Breakfast was the only disappointment, not much choice if you don’t like last nights dinner or Asian style breakfast( fried noodles) if your ok with eggs and hot dogs then all is good. Still recommend tho.

Nice hotel close to everything

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle transfer was very good because taxi and tuk tuk are very expensive even very short distance. The hotel is close to the seafood and fruit market and a lot of street food at night. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend to all people.

Disappointing experience.

Our stay was quite disappointing and this hotel definitely looks better on the internet. The rooms are modern however the hallway and entrance from the lift is dark hot and empty its very strange and was quite off putting. Another major disappointment was the breakfast buffet, very poor selection, food was not refilled, staff were not friendly and it was not clean as there were bugs all near the bread and cakes which were not fixed. The pool is nice however shuts early same with the gym so you cant make full use of it if your out all day. We decided to go out all day because the vibe around the pool is not relaxing and it is very noisy due to traffic and construction

Best resort

We had an amazing stay at the senses. We stayed in the beach view room. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. The room was very spacious and was cleaned daily. We walked everywhere so a great location. Would 100% recommend. First time in phuket! Will definitely be back here to stay!!

Great place to stay
