Sands at Grace Bay is absolutely amazing. Staff is all very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and very well cared for. Beach is gorgeous. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Hemingway’s is the restaurant on site and the food is amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Resort is walkable to shops and restaurants. Grocery store nearby. Couldn’t ask for more from this resort and its wonderful staff.

Great location and one of the best beaches.

My family of five got to stay at the Sands in the week leading up to Christmas. We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very nice, beautiful landscaping and very clean. Our rooms were basically little condos with separate bedroom, two baths, kitchen, living area and plenty of outdoor space. The pools and beach are super convenient. The restaurant on site was above average, and we really appreciated the staff there bringing us drinks on the beach! The town nearby is easily walkable, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options there. I had rented a car to get from the airport to town. I'm not sure if that ended up being completely necessary - probably not - but there was easy parking at the Sands. I let the Sands staff know when we were leaving that we really appreciated the friendly, super attentive staff who worked there. The guys working to set up umbrellas and beach chairs were especially helpful and honestly everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly. I honestly can't think of anything worth criticizing or complaining about! We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. And even the one day where it rained, we were still able to get some breaks in the weather to enjoy the ocean. I would not hesitate to recommend the Sands!

This place was great. We would definitely return! The resort opens right onto the beautiful beach where there are beach chairs and umbrellas reserved for guests. There are several pools to enjoy as well. Excursions and rentals available right from the resort, though we didn't use any of them. The restaurant was great and convenient. It is walking distance from the main shopping area. But shopping was more limited than we expected. My only caution is that this is a pretty busy area of beach with lots of boats and excursions constantly passing by and lots of people around. So if you're looking for privacy in particular, there are better places.

The Sands at Grace Bay was great! The property is not too large like some of the other resorts and feels more private. The scenery was great, easy beach access, clean rooms, screen in balconies, etc. it was great all the way around!

The property was very beautiful well maintained and clean. The suites were like apartments clean provided all the amenities one would need (just like home). The screen in patio was a plus very relaxing, the suites were very clean, peaceful, comfortable and quiet. Top notch!

The sands property was excellent but the surrounding area needs improvement. We had a fabulous time. The property was beautiful, clean, maintained and the food was great. Will certainly recommend and we will go again.

The sands was amazing. Was greeted with a welcome drink to kick off the vacation. Staff was great, just wish the servers at the Hemingways were a little nicer and focused more on giving guests a better experience.

On checking in, we were horrified to see the unhygienic and filthy state of the room and the completely deceptive advertising on their website. The rooms have a terrible smell, a sharp chemical odor making it uninhabitable. The cheap polyester sofas were dusty, lizards in the room. The washbasin has no soap - very unhygienic. We were told to use the soap from the shower area. No napkins in the bathroom. Paint on bathroom near floorboards is peeling and there is mold - a health hazard, tea stains on the table, No glasses for drinking water, There are no phones in the room and the only way to reach reception is through WhatsApp phone call. Dumpster in front. The hotel advertises the beach is less 3 minutes but in reality it is much further, almost a 15-to-20-minute walk. The hotel advertises free breakfast - again a fraudulent claim since they only give $10 coupons to local restaurants which are inadequate for paying for breakfast.In the lobby, they have posted a sign that if guests give them good reviews, they will provide a free gift - which is how they bribe guests into giving good reviews. After checking in when we saw the dirty room my wife was in tears and we had no option but to seek alternative accommodation at the 11th hour. We have been asking the hotel owner for a refund but he has refused. Do not stay at this filthy excuse for a hotel. We paid in advance for a 5 night stay in mid-Sept '24 and have lost so much money. Terrible experience.

I had the worst experience at The Sands. I will never recommend this hotel for anyone to stay. The front desk staff was absolutely terrible! No greeting, no smiles or welcome. In fact the front desk manager was the absolute worst, rolling her eyes and felt bothered that I was asking questions. The other front desk W.C was rude and zero customer. No one offered fruit punch or rum punch when the family next to me was offered. I was charged by Hemingway restaurant when checking out when I didn’t even step into that restaurant not once. Whole experience was terrible! Never again!

This hotel was price correctly but please be warned there's no elevator or room service.

Lovely place

I did a solo trip to Turks and Caicos. When i arrived at the property I was greeted by their friendly staff. The room was impeccable, the washer and dryer was a plus. Keep in mind it is quite expensive as far as dining and shopping but its well worth it! Be back soon!

I dont know where to start. The Property is amazing!! I will start with how clean the room was, our cleaning lady was super sweet and always left things extremely clean. The beach access is the best, free palapas first come first serve but there is plenty. you have access to free kayaks and paddle board. the Hotel is waking distance from the center and you can walk for coffee etc. They have a hangout place with Hammocks where you can lay there and read or relax. This is a family friendly property, lots of kiddos at the pools. The restaurant at the property was great as well. We loved the experince. Our first choice of hotel was the ritz but they had no rooms since we randomly booked that day. We were very happy we choose this place. :)

The scenery and beach in Turks and Caicos are beautiful. The property is clean, and the front desk, housekeeping, and water sports staff are excellent. However, the air conditioner in our room needs to be fixed. We experienced low water pressure one day and a night without A/C. The town, which has shops and restaurants, is within walking distance. We had dinner at the Hemingway onsite. Our server could have been friendlier, and the food could have been better, though overpriced. The best part was the Piña colada.

The grounds are lush and have well manicured gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was no elevators. But our stay was very relaxing and fun.

I love this property. Very clean, right on water, has excellent restaurant, music, Julian sings on Tuesdays. The staff if very friendly, manager Mohammad is very professional, accomodating, goes outvif his way to make everyone feel like home

The staff doesn’t smile. Acts as if you own them a favor when asking a question. Staff is unhelpful and looks miserable. You feel like you have to walk on egg shells around them. There is no room service no early check in and no early check out. They only have one over priced restaurant. Best part of about this place is that is close to the beach and the rooms are clean.

The bathroom locks were not working, and the bathroom was clogged when we took shower

From arrival to departure, our trip was absolutely perfect in every way! The water view will take your breath away! The condo was equipped with everything needed and the staff made sure that we were well taken care of. The grounds were impeccable and we will definitely return.

The room was big with in room laundry and kitchen. Was walkable to tourist street. I would go again.

Rooms are outdated but for the price you can’t beat it, only 1 restaurant on site but several options close by. Staff was awesome both in the resort and at the restaurant. Beach is awesome, can’t wait to go back.

beach and beach staff were great, front desk and restaurant staff slow and useless. last two days people that were NOT hotel guests tried to take our beach chairs, and were just so raunchy and foul-mouthed children should never be exposed to “ladies” talking that way. hotel staff let it go. one couple did say something and were threatened by these”ladies” i will NOT spend my money here ever again.

The pool was very dirty but the staff was fantastic!!

We had an issue with restroom that needed to be fixed in the middle of the night. Did not have anyone to come fix had to wait for next day.

Decent place. Room is a bit dated . Was not thrilled with my ocean view room I paid extra for, and was more a view of a parking lot. Food at the restaurant was hit or miss.

This was an absolutely beautiful property with incredible beach access. The staff was so friendly and really made us feel welcome. Hemingway’s restaurant had great atmosphere and a beautiful view of the beach and pool.

Access to a beautiful beach 🏖 at Sands of Grace Bay

We really enjoyed our room at the Sands. It’s close to shopping and dining and the restaurant on site was very good. Eating and drinking in Turks and Caicos is very expensive but they have beach cruiser bikes you can borrow and take a quick ride down to the grocery store to pick up some food and drinks and go check out the cute town with fun shopping and restaurants. The room had, a nice little kitchenette and separate living space from the bedroom. We would absolutely stay here again, especially if we take our kids so they can have their own bedroom. The pool was super nice and the staff was awesome! Facility was very clean.

Overall property was nice. We didn’t get a welcome drink upon arrival. The staff at the restaurant were very unhappy and could see it on their Faces. Maybe they are limited in staff but no one was overly friendly.

We couldnt sleep. Our room 3311 was next to a generator. Noise all night. Toilet was running. No racks to hang your towel. No complementary water in the rooms.We payed 385 u.s. per night. Conceige was hilarious. They didnt know when places open or close. Overall they just didnt care. Would not recommend this place.

This property is small and cute and great for a quiet family vacation. The room we stayed in could use some updates (hooks were missing, microwave didn't work) but was large enough to accommodate us. The concierge was not friendly nor knowledgeable- talking to other visitors was much more helpful! The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The Sands offers a free shuttle to their sister hotels. We went to the Shore Club where the staff were extremely rude and would not even allow us to sit in their chairs after purchasing beverages. If a shuttle is offered, it seems odd that you can't use the amenities there or purchase a day pass to use them. The only other downfall we found was it was very difficult to locate snacks or water. The gift shop closed early and for a large portion of the afternoon for lunch break. Vending machines on the property would be ideal!

The property was very nice and clean. The parking was good. The only issue we were not happy about was that after a long day of traveling our room was not ready at check in time. We had to wait over an hour and it was not great for our first impression.

BEWARE!! The pictures online are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! The room I received does not reflect the photos the hotel has posted online of the room. When confronting management about this issue I was told that the room pictured online does not even exist anymore. Despite not receiving the room that I paid for, hotel management was not helpful in resolving this issue. Absolutely lacked proper communication and were extremely stubborn. Do not recommend!!

This place was really great, but did have some down sides. We traveled with our 7yo daughter, so the separate bedroom in the suite was great, as well as the full dining table for games. Although we didn’t cook, it was nice to have the kitchen. Food is so expensive in Provo, so it was nice to be able to bring leftovers back to refrigerate, microwave, and snack on the next day. We wanted to cook eggs, but all the eggs in the on-site store had expired. (Technically, the cartons said “packed on January 27,” but this was on February 27 and I’m not sure eggs stay good for a month.) The nearest grocery store is not walkable, so I would plan on either not cooking or doing a big shop at the grocery store upon arrival. It was easy to walk to a lot of restaurants and shops outside of the resort, which was definitely required because there’s only one restaurant on property. Hemingway’s is really good, just not a huge menu. Service is as expected on islands—pretty slow, but staff is very friendly. There is no food and beverage service at the pool or the beach. The resort advertises as “family-friendly,” which it is, but there really weren’t any kids for our daughter to play with the entire time at the resort. Luckily, we had friends a few resorts down at Beaches, so we went down there every day for our daughter to have kids to play with. The Sands really is wonderful. My husband and I would definitely stay there again, but if we bring our daughter we would most likely stay at Beaches.
