Good place
The hotel is in a good location but the street is not particularly nice to look at. A bar and some other food places are down the street. Breakfast was not included but there is a great place down the street that had delicious food that was fairly inexpensive. The service was excellent, the room was as pictured (clean , neat and the bed comfortable). The only drawback is the fact that there was pounding, vibrations and work sounds outside/against the bedroom wall at 7 a.m. in the morning (after arriving late from a long flight the previous evening). You can hear the sounds of the bars/clubs nearby but it is not disruptive. TV did not work the entire time I was there which wasn't a big deal for me but would have been a nice convenience if it worked.
Good value hotel off Oxford Street
Very friendly family run hotel a short walk from all the amenities of Oxford Street. Good WiFi, clean, nice breakfast and good Aircon😁
This is a small, quaint hotel on a street where restaurants and shopping are. It's easily accessible. You will have to take stairs however.
Everything was great
Best Stay
I don't normally do reviews but this guest house deserves one. The stay was my best accommodation i had so for in Ghana. The staff are more than welcoming. The security guard even washed our car because we had been thru a lot of mud. The best part was we didn't even ask for the wash.
Everything was as good as was advertised on their website. Best hotel stayed at in Accra, so far, out of 3 stays.
Small boutique hotel with only four rooms, BUT Nice size rooms nonetheless; hot water in the shower; wifi worked; had several TV channels; comfortable bed; provided some toiletries; great location in Osu walkable to many places; provided a few snacks; great price for value; and best of all the staff and manager were fantastic!!!!
All is set up well
It was very clean. Friendly people. I did not get the room I booked but got a smaller one which was also very clean. I will stay there again.
The rooms are too small and dim. The building is also uncompleted and the workers keep making noise whiles you rest
I went to this property almost three years ago with my wife and kids and was quite pleased with the room and our experience. I came again with my wife and kids, but this experience was not as good. The good points are that the room was clean and that the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, last time when I checked in, the staff knew that I was coming because of my Expedia booking, while this time, they had no idea we were coming. Then the guy takes us to a room, telling us that the room we had reserved cannot be used since the water heater is not working. The room we got was definitely smaller and a different layout than the last room we had, even though I paid for the largest room on Expedia. However, I later saw that someone else was using that room, making me think it had nothing to do with the water heater. I think they mistakenly double-booked the room. When I talked to them later about refunding us for the difference between a smaller room and the bigger one, they told me that they have 3 different rooms at the Deluxe level, but they are all different sizes and layouts. They do not list them on Expedia as being different sizes. I find that misleading. Thus, even though the room we had was much less convenient for a family, we got no refund. If you do not care what the size or layout of your room will be, then this property will probably work fine for you. However, I do not expect to go back again.
The room was neat, bed cofortable with sufficient pillows. Service was great. First hotel to serve free snack at night.
Worth a stay!
Definitely recommend this establishment for all round service and great staff! Good location too.
Convenient, accessible and great place to stay.
Cannot ask for better service during the stay in Accra. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location is good, accessible and plenty of establishments close by for meals, drinks and shopping. Recommend a stay here.
I stayed at this guesthouse and felt like I was staying in a room at grandma’s house. The hotel staff was very friendly and hospitable. The hotel manager was extremely helpful and friendly. She was telling me local things to see, offered to take me around and even purchase local Ghanaian food for me to try. I had to make a phone call for work and the manager made arrangements to help the international call happen. I have traveled around the world and stayed in many places but the Ritzz was by far the best experience I have had.
U
Very good stay. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The ac worked well. It is located right off of Oxford so there was plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The staff went out of their way to accommodate. My only complaint was the heavy down blanket-yep that’s it. I probably should have asked for a lighter one.
Amazing customer service and very tidy rooms
The guest house is central so it’s very easy to get to most places in Accra with Uber or your own car, the staff will bend over backwards to please their guest, breakfast is good but it’s tailored to your request so if you don’t ask you might not get 😃. Rooms are clean and spacious with very comfy bed. I will stay at this very place each time I visit Accra.
Acceptable, facile d'accès, manifesté un peu plus de professionnalisme. Sinon bon ds l'ensemble.
I stayed at the ritzz exclusive guest house, Osu Accra. I had a brilliant 4 week stay there the standard of service was absolutely brilliant, the owner and staff bent over backwards to assist me with all my requirements . The location was excellent and the amenities were absolutely top notch. This was my second visit to Accra and this guesthouse is the best I've had the pleasure of staying at and intend to stay there when I visit Accra again next year. I doff my hat to the management and staff for their dedication and attention to detail and would definitely recommend the guesthouse to anyone who wants to visit Accra as its location (a stones throw from the vibrant Oxford street) and amenities are excellent .
My Ghana's first experience
The hotel management and and staffs were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. I will definitely recommend.
Very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at the Ritz on a business trip from Scotland, in May 2019. I had an amazing time there. From the moment i arrived, the staff were so helpful and attentive to my needs. The manager even took me out in her own car and showed me around the area.... the best places to dine, which were not too far from the guest house. They even stored in their freezers food that my grandmother had prepared for me. The staff went out of their way to accomodate me in every way. The room i stayed in was the red and white double room. It was very clean and spacious with all "mod cons"....... very welcoming and comfortable. The WiFi was also good. The security of the place was very good and all times i felt very safe and sound. The manager even gave me a phone to use locally since i didn't have one. All i had to do was to top it up. Because the Ritz is centrally located, just off Oxford street, Uber or taxis were easily accessible for travelling to work early in the morning, which had been a worry for me prior to travelling. I returned back in the evening after work to a nicely cleaned air conditioned room, which was so nice after being out in the accra heat. Every night, the hotel manager, brought me delicious desert ( cakes, yoghurt, peanuts, ice cream,etc).... "on the house". The evenings were great for taking a stroll and just enjoying the busy nightlife on Oxford street. I also enjoyed the times i spent at the minibar talking with and sharing stories with the staff.
The atmosphere is homely and very welcoming. Staff went out of their way to make my stay very comfortable. Just a perfect place to be whilst on a short business visit to Accra. Wholeheartedly recommended.
The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The bed was nice and the pillows were amazing. All the appliances that we tried worked well. The free parking is parking on the street, but there was space to park. There are a lot of stairs, but that wasn't a problem for us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even provided free refreshments delivered to our room! The only complaint might be that they were a little too helpful. My wife and I were tired after traveling and wanted to be left alone, but they came to the room three or four times to give us something or do something for us. Maybe a "Do not disturb" sign would have helped. Anyway, that's just us. Their breakfast is made to order, though the menu is limited. It was more than I was expecting, though you need to leave yourself time for them to make something fresh for you. That which is already ready to eat is very little.
I went there during the refurbishment, yet it didn’t interfere with the excellent service. The Manager/Owner was really helpful in navigating the city. Had a great time and can’t wait to return to Ghana again.
This will be my regular in Accra
I’ve stayed here twice in the past 6 months. The staff are very freindly and professional. The manager is very attentive and customer care is excellent. This is now my regular spot when I’m in Accra.
Wonderful stay -- I hope I can come back
This was an amazing place to stay at in Accra -- beautifully decorated, centrally located, and with personalized service. The host was very attentive and I almost felt like I was at a homestay -- in a great way. She let me know it was safe to walk around the neighborhood at night, which greatly enhanced my brief visit. There is everything you need in a room, the fridge was kept good and cold, room spacious, felt right at home. I only wish I could have come back for more than one night. Highly recommended.
Nice stay twice!
Very nice and classy rooms. Management and staff are very attentive.
EXCELLENCE AT ALL LEVELS—5 STAR GUEST SERVICES EVERY DAY. I’LL DEFINITELY BE BACK. I WILL ALSO RECOMMEND THE RITZZ EXCLUSIVE TO EVERYONE THAT INTENTS TO VISIT GHANA.
The Director and the workers were very helpful, made my stay enjoyable and very comfortable. The Lounge is very exquisite, embellish. The Lounge is a gorgeous and delightful place to relax. I had a nice time using the Lounge, specially having my breakfast there. Hoping to use the hotel again.
Perfect Stay
There are so many good things to say about this hotel, but the best part was definitely the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay and I felt like I made 4 new friends by the time I left. On top of the great staff, the room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had an extremely comfortable bed. The air-conditioning was strong and the internet is a mobile wifi hotspot that you can take around town. They really have thought of everything! Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning and there was always more than I could eat. A couple days I came back early to take a rest and the manager offered delicious fresh fruit for a snack. The location is right in the middle of one of the popular neighborhoods with a variety of great restaurants, a shopping mall and supermarket all within an easy walking distance. Taxis and Uber's are also very easy to find. Although the hotel is in the middle of the action, the building itself is on a quiet side street a block away from the main road. Make sure you check out the Pallet Kitchen about 100 meters from the hotel for a great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and fresh fruit cocktails.
The rooms were lovely and very convenient to Oxford St. It is a very small hotel, and the staff was excellent. There are stairs, no elevator, and breakfast was served in your room.,
This guest house was very homely neat and well located. All the staff were very happy to help make me comfortable and satisfied. I needed to get one or two things on my arrival and one of the staff walked me to a nearby shoprite. The Manageress Raghe was around everyday to make sure I had all I needed. I had a wonderful time at the Ritz it was like an extension of my home. Do not be deceived by the front view of the guest house you will be pleasantly surprised when you get into your room asi was. Thanks to all the staff of the Ritz for the wonderful three nights stay there
Good location
Hotel was close to the main road. The room was very comfortable, had a mini fridge, a/c, and TV. However, you do not have unlimited wi-fi; if you exceed your quota, you must pay for it yourself. This was not stated anywhere on their site or in any of the reservation information. Also, as they are still under construction, there is not kitchen so they bring you your breakfast. Just make sure you clarify what time breakfast will be because the first day they told me breakfast was only served from 830am-930am and then the second time I got breakfast at 7am.
Great Hotel!!!
The Gritzz Exclusive Guest House is a great hotel I will definitely recommend to anybody traveling to Osu, Ghana. It is well located, not far from Oxford street where it is possible to find supermarkets and restaurants. In addition to that, it is easy to get a taxi in the area. I liked the cleanness and the look of the room as well as the kindness and availability of the staff. From the first day, I felt welcomed by the Owner of the Hotel and her staff. Thank you all for your kindness and your assistance!!!
Nice hotel in good location
The location of the hotel is great, staff and director were very polite, friendly and helpful. The room, neat and nice, with good and clean towels. I enjoy their breakfast, specially the hot Africa Porridge. Planning to use the place again.
Simply perfect
The kindest people ever staff this hotel. They treat you like a king!
Nice rooms disappointing breakfast
Rooms were clean and staff polite, the breakfast was late and awful porridge only!
Updated finishes, friendly staff
While the $20 fee to get picked up at the airport is more than you'll pay a cab, the owner picked me up and was wonderful. She had moved me into a newer room which was larger and had been recently redone. They were flexible about early check-in and late check-out, and I referred my friend here. Location is great if you want to be near Oxford Street.
Nice guesthouse in Accra downtown area
The room was excellent; spacious, clean, new, modern and everything worked including the A/C which is much needed in Accra. The location is nice because you are within walking distance of the main street in the downtown area (Oxford Street) if you don't mind the heat or you can just Uber anywhere in the city. The guesthouse is in an absolutely quiet area and the host is really helpful for anything you may need during your stay there. Although still developing and no on-sight kitchen or dining area - still nice. The only negative is the breakfast is prepared off-sight currently. Staff was also nice and helpful.
Great rooms with kind staff. They will make you feel like home, all the services they provide are so customer friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and I can’t wait to come back next time. Thanks for everything.
Lovely stay in Osu
Lovely place, quiet, new rooms, near restaurants and shopping, soon to have a lounge and small bar; very helpful staff and manageress. Secure rooms, good wifi.
Amazing
My stay was amazing from arrival till departure. Everyone went above and beyond to meet my needs. I am truly grateful to you all. Thank you for making me feel like family. Happy Holidays. To anyone out there looking for “a feel at home” and more with classy comfort, this is the place to stay.
Friendly well run guesthouse
Everything was great. Nice rooms that were well maintained and clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Good location close to Oxford St in Osu.
The staff at the Guest House are very kind and helpful. The service they provided are extremely customer-centred. I felt very comfortable, cared for and happy when staying there.
The staff did a great job

The property was very quaint. We were greeted in a very welcoming manner. Check in was brief. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, even with helping to get a driver for the early morning ride to the airport.
