Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. This is a basic motel, a little dated but always very clean. Nice, quiet area but lots of shopping close by. A real deal at the price. I have a small dog, and we stay there every time we pass through Kamloops.
Clean and well maintained. Exceptional value.
Perfect place to spend the night.
Great hotel next to the highway. Price was right and it was well maintained.
Toilet is broken; instead of fixing it, the management has labelled it “double flush” which means it never flushes the first time and you need to wait for the tank to fill again to actually flush. Also pet fees are not listed but are $25-35 per dog. Super 8 is next door and has working toilets and cheaper pet rates for the same price room.
Great place, friendly staff
Big clean room, friendly staff
Very dated property. Rundown, need lots of tlc
We did not end up staying the night there. We checked out that evening ☹️
There is no pool. Also, it's loud with the traintacks, no food in walking distance. And laundry is very loud.
If I could give this hotel a negative score I would. We booked through Expedia but had to change the reservation by one day so we could spend another day on Vancouver island. The hotel didn’t want to change the reservation but eventually agreed if we paid their rate and not the Expedia rate. We agreed and prepaid for 2 rooms in April. When we got there, they charged us again and initially refused to give us our money back. They eventually agreed to return the credit but charged a surcharge of the original Expedia room rate for 1 room. They have refused to give us the credit back. These people are dishonest and I don’t know how they stay in business! Don’t stay here!!!
For the price it was great and after a long day it was good just to sleep
Easy access. Clean and comfortable
This was a well maintained and clean motel, perfect for an overnight stay through BC. The room had a fridge and kitchen table and chairs, which was handy. It is just off the main road and convenient walking distance to stores and restaurants
cheap on the soap bars. Too small to shower with.
Couldn’t make it the hotel due to Hwy 1 being closed for eight hours due to an accident. Hotel management refused to refund our money. We will never stay again at this hotel run by greedy inconsiderate people and will advise friends and family to do the same.
Highway closed due to a crash where people died and they werent understanding about not being able to get there due to that happening. They tried charging my card and got mad when i wouldnt allow it
I was told there was a spa but it was just a hot tub. i would have been fine with this but it was 40 degrees outside so it wasn't really an option. Their one laundry machine was broken so i had to hand our laundry to the manager and have him do it in the basement. The price was $11 for one load to be washed and dried which was steep.
Stayed 1 night. Property a bit dated. Fairly high priced for what you get. Fine for a quick stay.
While it may be a bit dated looking, it was in extremely good condition, very clean and at a very good price. Good over night stop.
Average motel. Bathroom was moldy smelling and the water pressure was way too strong. Felt like it was ripping your skin off. Bed was comfy but sheets were stained. Wasn't great, wasn't horrible.
The motel is old and shows it. Toilet not flushing properly bed covers stained. Ac is very noisy. As well was surprised by the heavy deposit ($300).Seemed excessive especially considering the state of the room.
It's really old
Easy parking, quick and polite checking in by staff.
Very dated. Middle of nowhere. But its cheap.
Quick access to the highway. Practical accommodation. Close to the scenic Valleyview Nature Park.
Bad Attitude
Very clean and staff were kind people. The hot tub was cold which was disappointing. But they were trying to repair it. 😏
Good location with lots of options for food nearby. Good value for rooms.
Pleasant desk person, he accommodated our requests, the room was a good size and it’s nice to have a fridge and microwave
Old, tired motel. Breakfast included was just coffee, Costco muffins and yogurt. We wouldn’t stay there again.
Clean and basic
This place NEEDS UPDATED and all info needs to be disclosed when booked not upon srrival! Invest in your property it is OLD and smelly
Great stay, no complaints.
Very friendly
room was good, hot tub as well
Sub par for a motel and noisy
Was an interesting reception. Rather cold. The room was fine for a motel, dated yet reasonably clean, until the bed. A few stains of what I do not know but seemed maybe of blood. The noise from other guests as well as the freight trains and road trucks was very loud.
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, good bedding, very friendly attentive owner
Staff was very kind and very welcoming
They charge 100$ a day deposit for pet supposed to be refundable and also charge 25$ a day for pet, beds are horrible and uncomfortable, blankets were lumpy, burn marks on counter, light fixture not working and no chain for locking door or extra bolt for more protection, room smelled of garbage
Thirteen motels in one trip. We always save the best for last and again, it was so. We love The Ranchland Inn and always look forward to ending our road trips on a peak here.
It is close to downtown and the facilities were clean and the staff was very accommodating. Definitely will stay here again and recommend this hotel.
It was good place
I arrived super late and they were very welcoming and accommodating. I also travel with a small dog and they gave me a room where he would've bother other guests if he was noisy. Highly recommend
The front desk service is good. The room is neat and comfortable.
Good value for dollar.
Excellent for a budget class motel
Well kept and clean. Exceeded my expectations for a budget motel. This is an excellent place for staying for a work trip. Located in a safe neighborhood as well.
Easy for my pet
Would certainly stay here again
We had 2 rooms booked for 4 people, ground floor and adjoining. Both rooms were clean and the bedsheets smelled of fresh laundry. The beds seemed unusually high. Breakfast could be better. We would stay there again.
Better than other hotels I've stayed at in this price range. beds were comfortable, the unit was very clean, it was reasonably quiet, and staff were helpful. I would stay here again.
Was good
Not Too Bad
Hotel is dated and rough around the edges. It was clean and didn’t smell thought. Good for a nights stay but definitely not a destination.
It was very clean and comfortable.
Fine place to stay a night. The rooms are clean if a bit dated and chairs and bedding had some age staining. But it was safe and quiet which suited our purposes. Also the staff made sure we were on the ground floor so it was easy for us to take the dogs in and out which was very considerate. Overall the staff get an A from us.
.
Good sized room. Has a spa which we did not utilise. Advertises free breakfast which is on the light side with soft apples, yogurt and half muffins and coffee which is ok but felt a bit tight but no where to eat so take to room or car and drop crumbs?. Overall though good value for money.
The front desk staff is very quick and organized on checking in guests. Very efficient!
Budget hotel with little to recommend. Also charge was higher than what was quoted in reservation
Room was clean but could use with an update
Manager was professional, pleasant and friendly. Great service .
I liked that they allowed pets and that made it possible to bring my dog.
I like the fact we can use the bbq, saves on going out. Friendly staff and room was clean.
Nice staff. Clean, quiet, basic accomodation.
Definitely a “meh” motel
The check-in experience was less than satisfactory. She was not very pleasant. She was quite abrupt, and it wasn’t a great experience. The room was very small, with not a lot of space for two people. The air conditioning unit was under the window and the space around the bed so narrow that the air conditioner literally almost touched the bed. You had to leave the AC running because it was 90° outside, so the air conditioning was blowing right in your face.
Pleasant and friendly. A simple breakfast was provided to start the day. That is thoughtful.
Clean, comfortable beds, a little outdated for furniture- but it provided what we needed a quiet and clean place to stay.
Property was fine for the price. Breakfast was poor
Clean room, air conditioning worked, clean bathroom.
Excellent
Friendly staff. Next to highway but not that noisy. Bob g, clean rooms for an older motel.
The staff were friendly, felt the family atmosphere,
Rooms smelled, sheets unclean, carpet dirty
We had to buy a can of air freshener and used it liberally just to be able to stay in the room. We could not use the pillows because they smelled soooo bad. Two men had A fight right outside our room .
Would stay again
Clean, affordable and I would stay here again
Holes in the window screen, unbelievably lumpy quilt, only sink 10 feet from bathroom, but it has a great shower. Would not go back.
It was a very busy trip and we spent very little time at the accommodation
Staff were amazing
Budget hotel. Clean and all you need for a nights sleep
Super welcoming with my puppy. Freindly staff, everything i need in the area. Great value.
Super accommodating when i had my.pupoy with me, gave us a room where he wouldnt bother anyone. Will definitely revisit.
Convenient to the highway and super clean!
Great place to stop for a night. Room was clean and checkin easy.
Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced.
Basic room, 2 queen beds, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic, muffins, yogurt, apples, muffins were from Costco and nice and fresh. Hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely go back!
Clean and comfortable. Priced accordingly.
Room was large and had a full kitchen. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly. It was away from city centre but quiet.
The Room felt a bit crowded with two queen beds, which was all that was available when we booked close to the day. The TV could not be controlled by the remote control, particularly the sound volume. Continental breakfast not great. But the room was clean and the staff were friendly so we have no complaints.
It was a decent place to stay. Clean and quiet. Would stay here again.
Good value and on duty manager made you feel welcome.
Parking was limited
Good place for an overnight stay while on the road. That said , there is nothing in a walking distance in terms of food and entertainment”.
Nice staff, nice enough building, but our pet friendly room was not pleasant. Cabinet over the cooktop hadn’t been wiped down in ages and was covered in grease. Entire room needed a deep clean
This property was very clean! Even in the corners. The motel was east yo access right off the hwy and parking was right in front of the room. We couldn’t really hear noise from the hey. The gentleman at check in was very friendly. The room is dated but functional. It has everything you would need for a stopover. Fridge with a working freezer, microwave, iron and board, and a coffee maker. Beds were very comfortable and linens and pillows good! We stayed with our dogs and there were places to walk with them. We would definitely stay again!
The room was utilitarian and met our needs. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that there was a fridge and microwave available in the rooms. Not fancy, but perfect for what we needed!
Clean, affordable and staff were very friendly!
Only a half of one muffin available for continental breakfast. We checked back several times for a half hour (9:00-9:30), same one still sitting there.
Clean place. Friendly and accommodating staff.
It was nice to have a table and chairs. Location was easy to find. Easy access to and from the highway
