Very friendly clean
Really friendly staff. Lovely rooms. There is a small shared hot tub, wish there was more. You can ski in from Grand Return on the Morrisey side. A little bit of a walk to the lifts.
Staff was very friendly!
Richard and his staff were so pleasant and welcoming. They really made the stay exceptionally memorable.
Ski trip to Sun peaks
Lovely lodge , warm and cozy. Staff was awesome and breakfast was great! It is a two minute drive to the ski resort from Pinnacle Lodge
Love this place, quiet cozy and comfortable
The sledding area next to the hotel was awesome! Great lobby area with games and puzzles and plenty of room to hang out. It is an easy walk to the village.
Great place to stay! The property is quiet, convenient, and walkable. The customer service is their biggest asset.
everything was perfect
Wonderful skication
We had an excellent stay for the second year in a row. The staff, in particular Richard, are especially friendly and the breakfast is an excellent way to fuel up before a day on the hill. Look forward to returning next year!
Excellent
We were delighted with our stay. Comfortabie room, good service. Breakfast was amazing.
Very friendly staff with great amenities
Great place to relax
Great hotel. Really friendly staff. Absolutely spotless everywhere. Would definitely go back
Great atmosphere and staff that were friendly and efficient. We`ve been here many times in the past and plan to re-book next summer. May even book at Pinnacles Lodge for a ski vacation.
Back next year for fourth time!
Richard and staff are so accommodating! Third year and gets better every time!
Richard and staff were great. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast!
Best stay ever!
Amazing! Friendly staff, super helpful. Richard is fun and funny. A real gem!
Excellent property
Good place to stay
Very happy to choose this place . Ski in from Morrisey , ski out 5 min across the street & parking P2 . Richard the manager is very nice , handsome & helpful person . Thanks again . Good breakfast but should start at 7h30 in won’t cause lift open at 8h30. Will stay again if we come back o Sun Peaks . 5 min easy walks to village .
User friendly
Awesome staff, great breakfasts ..it's like home away from home.
Hospitality, location, beauty, comfort, design
Great breakfast, excellent location and facilities with super kind and caring staff.
Nice clean friendly place. Quiet atmosphere. good food
Summer Gem
This is a fantastic summer getaway, with great service, an extravagant breakfast, and friendly staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Such a cute place to stay ! Staff is extremely friendly and kind, love it here
Nice stay
No issues… nice room.. big balcony. A very nice breakfast as well .
The check in was fantastic
Great staff and beautiful property
Lovely place
Lovely place to stay in the mountains with restaurants nearby
Check in was fast and easy , Richard runs a great ship here at Pinnacle Lodge. Beds comfortable and more than enough for breakfast. No more afternoon teas served, that’s beeb discontinued, too bad. All good with staff and accommodations.
Ski holiday
Clean and comfortable, nice breakfast, attentive manager , very nice stay!
For a reasonable rate, it would’ve been not bad. But for over $400 per night, then an extra $40 “resort fee” added to the bill, this was a huge disappointment. I took my wife here for our anniversary hoping for a nice experience and we definitely didn’t get what we paid for. I heard complaints all weekend for the same issues. Expensive and dated. Again, for say even $150 per night, I could look past the quality of this resort, however for the cost, definitely disappointed in the overall experience.
The friendliness of all the staff is what sets this lodge apart from many others. It’s well run with the staff accommodating and helpful. The provided breakfasts are hot, plentiful and just what you need before a day of skiing. The rooms are big, perhaps a bit out dated but who cares the beds are comfy and plenty of hot water. The location is great a very quick drive to the main ski parking lot and a manageable walk if you prefer. Easy walk to the village. We will look to stay here again. Good value for money.
A great long weekend
We stayed for 3 nights for skiing and it was a great stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is modern and airy but with a cozy lodge feel and the surroundings are really beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone taking a trip to Sun Peaks.
The good: Property is well kept and clean. Views of slopes are nice. Parking was easy. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is great. Village trail pathway is nearby and lovely. The bad: wifi was completely non-functional. NOT ski in, ski out. Lift ticket kiosk is a good 15 minute walk, carrying all gear. Resort fee is an annoying add-on. Just include it in room price and save us all the grief.
I love this lodge! We will return. Staff is awesome, breakfast, Awesome! Great walking distance to the village.
Ok at best.
Staff arrived late, coffee and breakfast not ready when stated it should be. Resort fee wasn't disclosed prior to booking. Don't think it would boom agan for the price.
liked the friendly and professional staff
Everything - staff super helpful and friendly, breakfasts were great, lounges so spacious and comfortable, rooms comfortable with everything you need. Loved my stay
Quiet place and warm staff, great recreation and eating area.
Richard is a wonderful host The breakfast is exceptional
All good.
The manager Richard was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the lobby and games/puzzle area was such a nice place to hang out in in the evening and the breakfast was awesome. I would hands down stay here again.
The manager was very friendly and explained the property and its facilities thoroughly. The room was cozy and clean. Definitely coming back to this lodge for future trips :)
I recently hosted my birthday party at the Pinnacle. 6 adults and 6 kids. The manager, Richard, made everyone feel so welcome and he helped make it a very special weekend. This is by far our best resort experience.
Very cozy and comfortable. We were greeted at the door and given a full explanation of what all was available at the lodge. Amazing full breakfast cooked for us in the morning. Would certainly stay there again.
Richard the host and all the staff were so friendly and helpful ...sauna was a bonus live the outdoor hot tub I will definitely come back 1 st time to Sun peaks and enjoyed every minute just sad I can't stay longer
Bait and switch
We learned in arrival that Pinnacle Lodge is a time share property that sells rooms in the off season. We expected a resort and got something completely different. We were shocked. No restaurant, no elevator, no help for disabled people to get to the room, crappy mattresses ( we almost slept in the car), dated rooms. We went 30 miles out of our way for what we thought would be a great place, a warm dinner after a long drive, and were sadly disappointed. There were no amenities. Richard the manager was personable and upbeat, but ultimately not helpful for what we needed or expected. We were told we could use their microwave or bbq to cook our own dinner or walk into town to search for something that was open. Hotels.com should be ashamed for how they dishonestly market this place.
So close to the village, yet surrounded by nature
Robert was a fantastic host, very helpful and knowledgeable. Great location and lots of room to store our bikes
I had such an awesome stay. This place feels so homie and the staffs are so nice and kind. I can't wait to come back in the winter!
Richard is very warm and nice! We stayed here on our way home from banff/jasper and it made us feel at home already. Mom loved this place.
A nice welcome and friendly stay!
Only thing good is the hotel is close to the hill
Property was close to the village (5 minute stroll). We were visiting during shoulder season, so place was very quiet. We enjoyed being able to sit and enjoy reading in the upstairs area. Staff friendly. Breakfast included.
Buyer Beware: No real complaints about the property itself - however, this resort charges an additional $19/person as a resort fee in addition to the room charges posted. Basically, this covers a very expensive breakfast as the additional amenities have little or no value for skiers. Additionally, I needed to check out 1 day early from a week-long stay which I informed them of when I arrived - but when I tried to make this adjustment through Expedia I was told the resort inventory manager named Karen said no. Because of the above, I would never stay at this resort or any sister properties again.
We had a great stay, the staff was amazing! It was close enough to walk to Sun Peaks and they have daily breakfast as part of the stay. We would definitely stay again.
Will DEFINITELY stay here again, probably on a yearly basis honestly. The rooms were incredible, the hot tub and sauna were awesome extras, free parking, and oh the breakfast, it was AMAZING. the staff were incredible, literally cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here
Really friendly staff. Great breakfast for my gluten free son.
Very nice breakfast area.
We had a great time. Well maintained property and friendly staff.
Great staff, beautiful property easy access
Richard was a great host. Very helpful and always making sure we were happy with our stay. Lovely large dining area with a great breakfast served daily. Something different every day. It was set up with a microwave and dishes available to bring your own food if you chose to. They had a very cozy loft area with lots of games, puzzles and movies. Perfect after a day of ski and place to relax with family and friends. Would definitely stay there again!
Great facility. Staff was extremely accommodating to customers. The manager Richard Crossley is the best! He is one of the main reasons we make the Pinnacle Lodge our #1 choice in lodging in Sun Peaks.
Great experience. Great staff. It’s a couple min walk into the village but parking was easy. Overall a great place stay and highly recommended.
A beautiful gem; fabulous location, extra friendly staff, clean environment, great amenities and breakfast options!
Comfortable, clean, friendly helpful staff. Would go there again
This is such an excellent property, well organized, clean, good breakfast and a lovely lounge area. However, the best thing is the staff! The people who work here are friendly, happy and helpful which is a credit to the manager, Richard. His staff emulate his attitude and behaviour.
The check in person, Richard was great at orienting me to the property, and I notice he was terrific with the other guests as well. Nice room, clean, good vibe, I'm coming back!
it’s such a peaceful place and the staff are amazing!!! It’s a special place to stay!!! Recommend it to everyone!
We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, the walkability to the village. The property is small enough to enjoy and big enough to offer all the amenities. The resort manager, Richard, was very friendly and helpful and very proactive on making it a pleasant experience. We went as a couple, but would return as a family too. The hot breakfast included was much better than expected! Thank you!
The property was clean and well maintained from the well appointed and decorated room, fireplace, bath and balcony over looking the beautiful wooded area. Upon arrival we were greeted by Richard who was was very friendly and informative about the Lodge, surrounding area and things we could do. We took a short walk through the trees next to the golf course to the village mall where we had a wonderful dinner. A delicious breakfast buffet was included attended by Richard and the friendly staff. We highly recommend the Pinnacle Lodge if traveling through the Kamloops area.
Secluded in a quiet area and yet a quick 5-6 min.walk on a unique pathway with a beautiful covered bridge to the Village
Great clean and quite place
Great place, not in town center but very close. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. There is also huge balcony in the room.
Good stay
It was a good stay. I was looking forward to the afternoon tea but they no longer do it. The room was clean and comfortable and people were obliging and helpful. No kettle in room or shampoo but tea making facilities in lounge. Simple (but tasty) help yourself breakfast. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the village.
Welcoming staff made you feel as if you were a guest in their home.
Amazing check in the manager was very attentive. They make you feel very at home. Beautiful spot glad we happened upon it.
Liked this place a lot, BUT: we were encouraged to take a walking path into the village, so we did. But it was dark by the time we walked back and the path has some VERY DARK sections. Had to use a cell phone for light. They could use a few more lights (not too bright ones) on the path.
We loved our stay at the Pinnacle and we would definitely stay there again. Richard greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. There was a hot breakfast each day and it was awesome. We also liked the location of the hotel being away from the village. It’s quick and easy to walk along the path to get to the village when you want to go there. We didn’t use our vehicle at all while we were there.
My room had a lovely balcony, and a fireplace. There was a hair dryer and soap but no shampoo. Luckily I had some in my bag. The hours were funny - could not check in before 4:00, and the door was locked so couldn't have even dropped off bags. You need a key code to get in between 4 and 7. I liked that there was breakfast in the morning, but wished coffee and breakfast service were a little earlier. Coffee wasn't available until 7:30 and breakfast at 8:30. If coffee was available at 7:00 and breakfast at 7:30, it would be much better. There was a resort fee of $20 tacked on (I booked by Expedia) after - so not great if you are up for business and not expecting to actually use the resort. However, there are mountain bikes available for the village trails to get around.
Highly recommend
Very peaceful pleasant place to stay along with friendly staff and very clean room and wonderful breakfast.
It was old school design and it was very charming.
Excellent place
Property charged us $40 on arrival for breakfast next morning. Had no choice. If this is advertised as a B&B, why isn't the breakfast included in the price advertised on Expedia?
Very accommodating host in Richard. All staff we met were lovely. Nice rooms and great setting.
Boutique hotel feel to it, small but energetic staff, tastefully appointed room. Didn't enjoy waiting until 7:30 a.m. for coffee or 8:30 a.m. for breakfast.
Richard is a friendly host!
it was such a lovely stay, sun peaks was beautiful and we are happy we found the pinnacle lodge to stay at. woke up to the best views and the friendliest team!
Great service and facilities
Everything was great!
Very Friendly host and staff. Free bikes to use! Our son liked the gym. Super clean and quiet. Beautiful deck with trees. Terrific breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
We spent a fantastic time with our family at the Pinnacle Lodge. Service was stellar and we loved the breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone.
The property was very nice and well kept and the service was great. The location is amazing.
Note that it’s a time share, not a hotel, with a small, hard working, very helpful staff. A resort fee is added to your original bill when you arrive. That fee is specified not very obviously when you book. The breakfast room has big windows. The wifi sometimes worked in our room, SLOWLY.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel settings are wonderful, short walking distance to the village.
We were greeted by Richard who was fantastic and made us all feel very welcome. The lodge itself was lovely and comfortable with local bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

Comfortable and clean rooms and a great lodge feel from the communal area. The spa and sauna are a nice way to end a big day on the slopes. Richard and his team provide excellent service where nothing seems to be too much trouble. Thanks for helping make my stay so enjoyable!
