Roof top offers an excellent view of the bay.
The view of ocean front terrace is nice and the room is clean. However, the service of the front desk is poor, take long time for check-in and get the key card. The conditions in room is bit wear and tear. Stains can be found on bedsheet and sofa. The swimming pool was closed as they have private event on the next day, we can only enjoy the facilities with half hour.
Lovely view , room is spacious and clean
Need to deep clean and renovated
It was disappointing about the cleanliness of the room. Hair found on the bedsheet, dusted shelf where the towels kept, food scraps and chocolate found behind the bedside table, toothpaste stains in the toilet glass…
Adequate. Do not expect Customer service.
Customer service/experience was like hostel, not a hotel. Staff is not particularly friendly. No one has a smile (having a mask on was not an excuse). I requested a twin bedroom. Understood it was subject to availability but the reception stayed silent and did not mentioned at all. Nothing much to comment as there was no service per se.
Hotel with tranquility
Nice hotel with terrific seaview. Tranquil and comfortable.
The room is comfortable. But the hotel is in isolated area, it’s not convenient unless you drive with your own car. The facilities in hotel is not enough.
The room is spacious, the facilities are thoughtfully prepared. And most importantly the ocean view makes the whole stay much more enjoyable.
Close to Marina and having a good restaurant around.
A view peaceful weekend well spent in a very nice hotel.
Wonderful stay
Wonderful experience.We will come again
I would say I would say out of 10 I will rate 3
The breakfast was useless. I want to have variety. There was no room service. Should include more food option
Like the almost-carpet-free room the most! Restaurant is clean and fascinating.
excellent view and quiet environment, breakfast is good and hotel staffs are really nice. If more shuttle bus to Sai Kung town center will be better since the location is a bit far from Sai Kung town center.
Nice place but won't be back
Came here for a weekend staycation and chose this hotel after reading several HK magazines The room was great - we had a free upgrade to ocean terrace room with a great view. Really can't say the same about the complimentary breakfast at the restaurant though - an unfrozen croissant, one piece of sandwich cheese, few slices of tomato and straggly lettuce, with a poached eggs and one coffee (worth $160 !). Took my breakfast in town instead. Pool looked nice but lacked a beverage/bar stand hence we wouldn't have stayed more than an hour anyway. Overall - great concept and view, friendly service but needs improvement in food and recreation.
Perfect place for weekend escape Serene seaview, excellent atmosphere
Outstanding service and location. Really enjoyed my getaway trip at the Pier Hotel
The balcony is very close to the street You can see someone walking outside
Slightly high pricing, decent room with nice bathroom, excellent breakfast in Japanese style, but lots of cigarette butts in the balcony. Should not charge too high for parking
Noisy neighbourhood till 1am we can hardly sleep. Called front desk for help still no improvement. We re unlucky. Nice restaurant and nice room
Poor choice and quality of breakfast
The breakfast is a big disappointment especially the pseudo Japanese one. Western ones are mediocre...
The rooms are amazing. Breakfast was just OK. The price was a little expensive - I feel that if it were a bit cheaper, I'd be a more frequent guest.
Stayacation
Fantastic location for a short break in Hong Kong
Very well presented and clean hotel. Perfect for a weekend visit to Sai Kung.
Great staff, breakfast issues
Nice hotel but was very disappointed that we booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child but it only included breakfast for two people so we had to pay (HKD150!!!) for my sons breakfast. Also very disappointing that breakfast only includes 1 coffee or tea or juice, and if you want another you have to pay... I don't know another hotel in the world that has a similar policy.
new chic hotel
its a really nice hotel away from the city. very nice view n quiet area. however i because its not a chained hotel, servicing staffs are not as professional or well trained. overall great hotel n they have japanese grilled fish for breakfast which was pretty tasty actually!
Nice location for a weekend escape. Totally relaxed
we had a lovely time but the only feature could be improved is having on site meals and room service as only breakfast could be got onsite.
Clean and modern hotel - location a little odd as not much around but easy to get to Sai Kung Town. And lovely ocean views. Great breakfast.
Relaxing Staycation
Great, relaxing, quiet staycation, away from the bustle of busy Hong Kong. We came here to relax and explore Sai Kung village which is easy to get to via taxi or bus/minibus. The Hotel was lovely and clean, comfortable bed with great views over the harbour.
Lightings in room cant function well. Curtains cant block the sunlight. Air conditionings in the room were a bit noisy. Unluckily came across with the false alarm in the midnight and lights were on which cant be turned off until the alarm was reset.
The harbour view & balcony as not really, on the top of nearly resident house's rooftop....no dinng tbl. at room
Nice view of the Pak Sha Wan pier from the room. Great pool and very nice rooftop. The bathtub next to the window is just fantastic! Friendly and proactive staff, ranging from receptionist, general staff, security and cleaning lady!
Great views, big rooms, good service
We stayed here during super typhoon mangkhut. The service was very good. The rooms are spacious. Some of them have kitchenettes which was great for us given that we we couldn't get out for about 24 hours! Before the storm came, we managed to get some time in the rooftop pool. It's shallow but nice for swimming and the views over the marina are really lovely (on a sunny day!) When we had issues they were very quick to respond and help. Easy access to Sai Kung and Hang Hau / Tseung Kwan O from here.
The room is very nice and it is an excellent resort hotel. Nice view with good service!
Above and beyond
It may be a relatively new hotel but it seems to be doing everything right. Exceptional service right from the start. Staffs were responsive on the Expedia online-chat prior to our stay and were accomodating to our small requests. Exceptional service throughout our stay as well. The design of the interior are quite modern and beautiful too, with little thoughtful details sprinkled around the main walkway and in the room. Side note, we had a free upgrade to a kitchenette room. Definitely worth the price, even for the standard room. Location seems to be pretty scenic and convient too, just a short bus ride to Saikung city area and nearby bars. View along the pier is nice too. There's a small restaurant just beside the hotel which serve pretty good and affordable Chinese food too.
Convenient location
Many choices of cafe and restaurant in the vicinity. Convenient for self-driving guests as plenty of parking space available.
Worth to stay there, but the hygiene need to improve
Generally good
Quite good facilities are new. But a bit over priced
