Tiny, windowless bedroom that smelt of cigarette smoke. I won’t be staying at this venue again.
Affordability easy access to tubes
Nice small and convenient stay. Not the most professional but did the job and appreciated the stay. Located on busy corridor with lots of emergency vehicles passing by so that made it harder.
Extensive environmental and industrial like noise from an open skylight above the bed! Room was very warm but easily cooled. Some noise from other rooms was noticeable. Check in was certainly very quick and easy. Room was small but very functional and good shower particular. My baggage was held for the day thankfully Thanks
Great value. Clean nice room. Shared facilities a little basic.
I did not like the taxi company you aligned with. When I said I will pay with credit, he immediately pulled out a scanner connected to his phone to see if my credit card would authorize before the trip, and then shows my card is declinecd and insisted I should by by cash and he said he would take me to a bank machine. There was nothing wrong with my card when I took another taxi from the nearby Euston station instead. The taxi driver the hotel arranged for me is dishonest. When I asked the hotel staff to call me anothet taxi company, they said they only do business with that one, and I had to walk to the Euston station to get another taxi, and the credit card worked fine. Both the hotel and taxi driver have no integrity. I will never stay at the Pack and Carriage again!
Great Air con . Small rooms but very clean. Friendly staff
Train runs near hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay. It was only for one night but if I could I would have extended it. I enjoyed the room. It was just spacious enough. It was clean. The bed was comfy. The skylight was a nice surprise. The AC was amazing after staying in some not so great AC hotels throughout Europe. I would stay here again.
Great for Euston.
Nice spot on the northwest side of London
Nice place to stay at in London near the Camden, Marleybone and SoHo neighborhoods. Definitely on the smaller side, so be aware of that. Also, no laundry on site, but the laundromat up the street is fantastic!
The lady on reception was lovely when we arrived we were early and she let us leave our bags , the room was clean and tidy lovely pillows all clean , hairdryer was yukky sticky and not clean , We were woken up 2 times in the night with loud shouting from 1 person sounded from reception area the again we got up at 545 as the shouting continued, all in all very nice stay , in such a convent location to Camden market and all the local area , we didn’t have breakfast but when we checked out it looked very nice and the coffee smelt lovely
Loved it
Lovely hotel, beautifully designed and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Location is absolutely perfect for visiting Camden markets
Very clean and room was smart and modern. Good facilities in room. Lovely shower. No issues. Near to tube
Hotel is poorly maintained, insect infested, room has no chair for desk, and WiFi constantly disconnects. Front desk employees not helpful.
A bed for the night but not much more
It’s a bed for the night - not soundproofed so it’s very noisy, you hear the tubes and trains constantly and anyone walking past your room or anyone in the corridor will sound as if they are in the room with you. Reminds me of staying in a hostel. But excellent location.
It’s ok
Nice spot at a reasonable price especially if needing a layover for a train service. St Pancras is a 25min walk ...not to bad if backpacking
Not great
Tiny room. Had to wait for other person to walk before you coukd move! No lift so had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs. No welcome on arrival so didn’t feel very welcome. No dinner available. Scary area to walk around.
Great
The welcome was poor. You can only have one key card, and this does not let you in the building- you have to wait for the receptionist to come and let you in. If there are two of you, it's a challenge. Room was clean, and the staff on the second day were much friendlier. The area is run down and not safe for lone females walking after dark.
Room was smaller than I’d imagined but it did the job for 1 nights stay Staff were very friendly & helpful & couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the room.
Never again
Not a good experience. Our "deluxe" room was tiny, so small that the desk didn't even had a chair because you couldn't fit it anywhere. It would have been good as a single, definitely too small for 2 people. We heard staff members chatting outside our room at 6am (we were next to the cleaning cupboard) as if they were the only people in the building and after a short while they started hoovering, waking us up again! We had to ask them to stop! No respect for the guests at all. When we checked out I complained to the receptionist who just nodded and didn't know what to say. Only good point, the room was clean, but I guess when they wake you up at 6am to clean the place it's the least you can expect.
Great!
Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the lady on the front desk who checked us in quickly. We had had a very early start, getting the coach from Devon to London with a journey time of five and a half hours, so the earlier than standard check in and the swiftness of said check in was much appreciated and welcomed. The room was cosy but more than adequate as a place to sleep as we we weren’t planning on being in the room any length of time whilst in London. The bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. The heating was a little difficult to figure out as it had been set to French but with the help of Google, we worked it out. We stayed on the first floor and could hear and feel the tube rumbling past but it’s London so you need to expect that. I sleep with ear plugs anyway, so didn’t hear or feel a thing once I was asleep. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food but they have a well equipped bar. The hotel is also right between Euston station and Mornington Crescent, so easy to get around and it’s close enough to Camden that you can walk down. Overall, a great stay at a reasonable price with everything on the doorstep.
We stayed in a small room for only a couple nights. Was plenty acceptable, and nearby St Pancras and Euston stations for easy travel. The room we stayed in was small and carpeted, which isn't my favorite, but was satisfactory for our needs. No complaints, just do not expect this to be a high end hotel with a large room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Clean and comfortable
Clean and comfortable, but the room was very small and compact. Poor noise insulation, particularly if you have a room facing the main road.
Very comfortable overnight stay- room was small, but adequate space for 3 of us
The staff was very friendly and offered us several room options. We were on the ground floor but the train noises were not too loud, and we slept comfortably. The shower door wouldn't close fully which was inconvenient with some water splashing on the bathroom floor. Overall quite clean and a peaceful stay.
Tiny room but very cozy and clean, friendly staff. A bit expensive given size and location, steep stairs so not so convenient for big luggage.
Nice little hitel, close to Euston Station.
Close to Euston Station. Reasonably priced. Modern, clean room, comfy bed.. Stayed on ground floor, could hear trains but didnt bother us. Would stay again.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet street and I felt safe going out in the evening to get food. It was a little difficult to find as people I asked for directions, did not seem to know of it. I would definitely stay here again.
I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a little inn-style hotel about ten minutes walk behind Euston. Sure, it’s not especially fancy, and it’s definitely noisy - inside and out (this is definitely not a hotel for a light sleeper under any circumstances) but there were several things to recommend it if the price is right and the location suits you: there is someone at the front desk/bar 24 hours, so it feels secure and my room - even without a window - was comfortable, clean and pretty nicely furnished. The 10:30am check out is a pity but I would defo stay again.
Last minute booking. Room was small, but very clean, warm with a modern bathroom and for the price, you can not complain. Staff super friendly. Definitely use again.
Amazing quality forca very reasonable price
I cannot praise the entire stay enough. Very easy to find. The check in process was really straightforward and the lovely lady that greeted us, gave us all the info we needed. The room was very good, bed was very comfortable and the linen was fresh. The shower was excellent and fresh towels were provided. The only reason i wouldn't give 10/10 was a sticking slide door to the bathroom. I had to rescue my nephew as the door had stuck solid.
Staff were friendly, but room was a little small, we realised later on we didn’t have pillow cases on our pillows, and when i went down to the desk to request some, the member of staff on duty was sat there fast asleep, so i felt awkward and just left it. lots of road works going on which can’t be helped by the hotel itself, but our uber dropped us miles away in the middle of the night because it was too much of a fuss to take us to the door. they had people also doing some building work right outside our window, which was broken/awkward to even try open so we left it. for heat we had to use a plug in heater which smelt dusty when turned on. Tv was barely hanging on the bracket and had tissue wedged into the screw part? i just feel like this place could be lovely if they took a bit more care and attention to detail!
Very helpful staff and lovely decor throughout. Was a lot of rubbish outside but that's not really the fault of the hotel.
Nice, but noisy
This is a convenient, comfortable hotel, but unfortunately the tube noise makes sleeping on the ground floor after 5am impossible.
Convenient location, easy to reach from various stations/ bus routes. Camden is just a 10 minute walk. Comfy room, friendly staff.
Nice compact rooms
m
Good value hotel. Just a little noisy over night
This is my second time in a London hotel and this was better than I had anticipated. I stayed with one of the larger chain previously and this was much more nice. Check-in was smooth. Yes, rooms are small (to American standards) but it’s manageable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. One caveat is that you can hear the subway passing or trains but it’s not that bad. If you’re a light sleeper bring some earplugs and you’ll be fine.
Good location room was a slightly small but still adequate and very modern
The double room was very nice but definitely small - great for one person but would have been a struggle for two. The shower was brilliant and the bed very comfortable. Location was very convenient for visiting lots of areas around central London.
We were only there for 1 night but it was really nice.
Good value
Bed very comfy, shower excellent. Room was clean but a bit in the small side but fine for a couple of nights.
Great little hotel
Stayed for one night at the Pack and carriage, great little hotel handily placed near to Euston station. Room was fine, comfy bed and great shower.
Clean & good service
Good to stay slightly over rated
The customer service was good and staff was highly professional and friendly. The room and bathroom were a lot smaller than imagined and advertising probably sold a little dream. Overall, the room was clean and stay comfortable so 3.5/5.
Overpriced with continental breakfast as extra cost
This hotel is so close to Euston so really convenient. The staff were really helpful and friendly especially the gentleman on reception both days and the evening. The room was very clean and modern, beds super comfy, yes it was small but if we'd have wanted bigger we'd have expected to pay a lot more. It was lovely to be able to have a drink at the bar before returning to Euston to get our train. Also being able to leave our luggage was a godsend. Definitely will return
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar area and lovely room. Walking distance to Camden lock/market and camden station as well as Euston
If I was looking at negative reviews, I won’t have shown up here. So it’s either the upgraded as my room was very nice. Not big on space but it’s the lodging for a couple. Staff were also nice. I wish the could incorporate meals in their lunch and dinner time as I had to get food from outside. Asides that, it was a wonderful experience and I would book it again when I’m in Euston. The price was also right for it.
Room was clean but was extremely cramped for 2 people, let alone 3. Why offer a room for 3 if it's that tight?! Overall room was clean and staff was friendly. The lobby looked like a grungy pub and the outside does not look appealing. Walking distance to Camden shopping area but the neighborhood is a little sketchy.
Perfect for a short stay in Camden
The room that we had was small, but clean and very functional. The staff are friendly and courteous. Overall a great place to stay for a short time.
Staff greeted us in a very nice looking lobby with a smile on their face and lots of helpful suggestions. Checkin was quick and easy. Room are small, but found everything very clean and the beds were very comfy, to a point where you can’t feel the person beside you moving. Close walk to the metro, and close to long distance train stations as well. I would recommend this place is you are looking for a place out of the core.
Staff are very helpful and polite. Excellent customer service and communication . Good location - except if lone traveller walking back at night. Toilet door needs attention.
Good location, a bit loud, could here trains and children shouting, room and bed small but if you are staying short time it’s not important, reasonably good condition, overall stay was positive.
Great location for sightseeing in London. Clean and tidy. Room a bit on the small side.
Nothing wrong with hotel apart from the hot water came out the cold water tap but once we realised not a problem . Could be a problem if your a light sleep as you came hear the trains from Eustan all night
Happy Customers
My Daughter and myself had a lovely stay the staff were amazing the breakfast was divine and our room was lovely and we really enjoyed the shower . We would definitely stay there again great value for money and perfect for what we needed , highly recommend this Hotel
Camden town
Location is spot on for camden town, the hotel room is compact but clean, the breakfast was ok to good and value for is about right, Would i stay there again Yes.
Easy access
Good access from Euston station got there early for check in but was ok to leave bags.very friendly staff room was ok a bit small but does the job.breakfast was very nice a good basic selection.
Room was the smallest we have ever stayed in to be honest, room was advertised with a queen size bed and it was only 4.6 beds, the staff told me ALL the rooms have the same size bed so false advertising.
Good location
It is within easy walking access to Euston station and Camden Town, rooms are small but comfortable, a little tired but clean, service friendly good came with continental breakfast , need physical card for payment not Apple Pay no prior instructions provided? Good enjoyable stay able to park directly outside weekend only
This hotel was dirty. There's no other way to say it. The floors didn't appear vacuumed at all and there was a thin layer of dust everywhere--phone, tables, floor. At the end of the day, it was a safe place to stay near the tube. Staff was friendly enough. My receipt from the hotel was only $158/night and Travelocity charged anywhere from $163-$185/night and refused to refund the $170 difference. So, if you decide to stay here, don't book with Travelocity.
Rooms were efficiently organized with all our needs met. The color scheme on the hallway walls showed all places they had been dinged with luggage and thus looked worn.
Really lovely staff. Clean environment and very close to Euston station and underground entry points. Rooms are smaller than they appear in pictures but still big enough. Great breakfast as well. It was a nice experience staying there
Welcoming and comfortable
Service was fantastic, they were very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable rooms to stay in.
OK, but nothing special
Cheap and cheerful(ish). Room OK, but front of house and dining area a bit poor.
Skilful photography makes this place look like a central London hotel…but it is really a hostel! Staff were pleasant but when the first thing they say to you is “kicking out time is 10:30, don’t forget”, it sets the tone. Bed was reasonable comfy but my suitcase had to lugged up and down to the third floor (no help or lift) and it barely fit in my room because the room was so small.
Convenient stopover
Great little place, convenient location. Quiet bar at front, with small clean rooms. A couple of minor maintenence items, but good value.
Ideal for my stay
Clean, comfortable any the staff were very friendly. Ideally located for my overnight stay for a gig in Camden. Would definitely stay again
Low key hotel. Breakfast was a little disappointing (continental option only). Staff were excellent
The hotel its self was ok, although you could here every tube along with the other guests.
It was ideal stay for our family. 1 room was sufficient and close to stations to move all around.
Lovely stay
The room was a bit small but we only stayed for a night so it wasn't a problem. Very clean and the staff were fantastic. Very relaxed. Good continental breakfast.
Good hotel, clean, friendly, easy to get to. But the road noise is a little irritating. Fair deal.
.
Extremely clean and a good base
Check in was a bit unclear and confusing. Rooms all look new and immaculate. Disturbing that the fire exit outside my room still blocked with cleaning products after being highlighted by a previous guest
Nice pubs and restaurant fairly close. Noisy road
Shower outside was not super clean but all else good. No spoon with coffe making fasciities.
The property is in a brilliant location, easy to get to and far more comfortable than expected for the price! The staff were friendly and the breakfast was equivalent to one of a more expensive hotel. The rooms were clean and much larger than anticipated- really good nights sleep in the beds! The ensuite/shower was better than most hotels I’ve stayed at in London and I would stay again in a heartbeat! I will be recommending this hotel to everyone for a value for money stay in the city
Never again
I was given my card to the room, walked in and it was someone else's room. A total mess. Went down and was given a different room immediately without any kind of apology. The new room I was given was a total mess too with a clear electrical hazard. I wouldn't stay here ever again and it's certainly not a 4 star establishment.
A Good Choice for Those Needing an Overnight Stay
With its location near Camden, this small hotel makes a good choice for those needing an overnight stay within the area. Whilst the massive bed makes the room a bit pokey, it seems to deliver a reasonable night's sleep with good comfort.
Looked better on the website where it appeared like a thriving pub with rooms attached while in real life the bar was very bare, empty and limited. In fairness, it might be a different scene without Covid. But the rooms had been well furnished, were extremely clean and the bathroom was excellent. Don’t bring a cat tho because there’s absolutely no room to swing it! My mate’s room was a little musty. Helpful staff and a basic grab and go breakfast. Decent location and did the job. The photographer did an even better one!
Nice proportions in the room great AC and Great Power shower
Disappointed
Room provided was not the room booked - booked a room with 1x queen bed and instead had a double and a single with very little space in the room. Bathroom door was broken as was the shower door which meant the floor was soaked after showering. Walls too thin can hear alarms/TVs/Talking in rooms Nearby
Average hotel
The breakfast wasn’t upto standard was nothing like the photos on the website and room was quite noisy but the bed was comfy and the room was clean and the location was decent to see London. The iron wasn’t great as it was a small ironing board and one shared between the rooms so you had to ask at the reception for it. The hotel overall was nice but nothing amazing or to recommend to others
Great location, comfortable bed and great shower. However, the walls are paper thin so you can hear it when your neighbours pee/sneeze/etc. It's by the train so you're woken by that at 6am. There's no windows, just a velux roof window with a mind of its own. Really good price for the location though.
Dirty and awful service. Small and grim and breakfast was awful.
No sleep
If you don’t want to sleep at night then pick this hotel the rooms are the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in my first room was very noisy from the underground trains plus a noise at 5am in the morning I asked the manager could I get a refund so I could get a new hotel room but he refused he moved me to the 2nd floor but again noise coming from the under trains Saturday night very noisy from a couple running up and down the corridor I would never stay at this hotel again I can’t believe hotels.com advertise this hotel as a four star it’s at best a two star bed and breakfast and breakfast in the was not till after 8am when people have gone to work but when I seen what breakfast was I never missed much please do not pick this hotel

Super convenient
Small but super convenient hotel between Euston and St Pancras. Very nice staff.
Comfortable & Clean
The room was very nice and clean and very comfortable the only problem we had was that you could hear the underground trains when your lying in bed and on a few occasions we herd loud noises from above but otherwise for the money in London it was reasonable but would of preferred a room with a window in it.
Good room and convenient for what we needed to do and Euston Station. Netflix refused to work on the TV which was disappointing for my daughter. Breakfast was a grab bag but not very exciting. The roll was a little dry and the yoghurt was not cold.
Not great
Dirty outside, weird staff, really noisy, beggars are outside quite often. I was booked for 2 nights and left after one and went to another hotel.
Good location just few minutes from metro station
A bit disappointing
Hotel ok, bed comfy, clean. Breakfast however was a complete joke! They told us that breakfast would be takeaway only which was fine. But as you can see from the photo, this was for 2 people to share!!! 1 carton of juice to share, a yoghurt to share, a nature valley bar to share and a stale roll to SHARE!!
Birthday break away with a hitch.
This was a birthday getaway for me and my sister, the room advertised was a double with a queen bed, the bed was not queen sized. The continental breakfast was a brown paper bag with a cold roll, condiments, a carron of apple juice a health bar and choice of banana, apple or tangerine. We requested oir room be services when we left but on our return, the bed was still unmade, the floor had not been hovered abd the bathroom had not been cleaned, only new toweks and replacement tea, coffe and stiring sticks. The room shakes when the train passes underneath and
Staff is very nice and helpful
