The staff was amazing, very accommodating helpful with questions. They went above in service. Breakfast is delicious, walking distance to everything in Old Quarter.

Excellent costomer services. Bathtub needs improvement. Unsafe for older people and floods the bathroom floor

The services was super nice from the receptionist to servers, bellboy, masseuses, everyone was so nice. The buffet has a lot of options and it was very good. The only issue was the bathroom was so high and it was scary to get in. However Brian the manager mentioned that other room has additional showered beside the bathroom and they have plans to remodel. Brian was so nice to offer us a free transportation from hotel to airport due to our inconvenience of bathroom.

Great hotel, great greeting.

Wonderful welcome, and service. Explained many things to us and had a guide of how to navigate around Hanoi. Would highly recommend.

It was amazing. The staff was exceptional, the spa was superb. The only issue is the price. Totally overpriced for a very small room.

Excellent staff

I recently stay here during my trip to Hanoi, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Quarter, so you’re within walking distance of many popular attractions, restaurants, and markets. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or bookings. One downside was the noise at night—being in such a bustling area, it can get a bit loud, especially if you’re facing the street. However, the hotel provided earplugs, which helped a lot. The breakfast spread was decent, though it could offer a bit more variety. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a convenient and affordable stay in Hanoi with great service!

The staff and service is outstanding - the property is beautiful and centrally located in Old Town - breakfast buffet was delicious and features a wide variety of options. Would absolutely stay here again - highly recommend!

Wonderful staff that make your stay easy and trouble free. Breakfast buffet was excellent with great variety of fresh juices, fruit, veggies, salads, different a la Carte option, etc. The sky bar was excellent with great selection of cocktails which were very professionally made. Location in the old quarter was also very convenient. We had an excellent stay!

A nice boutique hotel well located within Old Quarter and convenient for shopping, dining and spas. If you are a EPL fan, there’s no TV channel for live matches and u need to find a pub nearby to watch the game.

Everything was fine except the toilet paper holder that was a safety harzard. The aluminum cover was sharp and every time i reach my hand for the bidet spray, it scratches my hand. Told the staff about it on day 1 but nobody did anything to rectify the safety hazard. Had to cover it to prevent further risk to my hand. Tried to attached photo here but unable to do so. As a 5 star hotel, such attention to details must be expected.

AMAZING SERVICE

The service at the Oriental Jade is impeccable. The room was not luxurious but very well appointed. I would without a doubt stay at this hotel for the service alone. The front desk, food servers, and doorman were all AMAZING! They walked us out to the car with a gift at the end of our stay and did everything they could to ensure that we had a pleasant stay.

All of the staff were absolutely amazing! Gave real, local, excellent suggestions and recommendations. Made our stay just the best! Location is easy to walk around for plenty of sites and dining options

Staff friendly and helpful

Great location but small rooms.

This was our favorite hotel on this trip. The room was lovely and the service was exceptional. On our last day, we needed to move to another hotel to meet our group. The Oriental Jade arranged and paid for our taxi to get there and gave us a farewell gift. Also, the benefits that came with the room such as free massages and drinks at the roof top bar really added to the value. Its well located on the edge of the old town not far from the lake. I highly recommend this property!

My husband and I would recommend staying at this hotel for good service and a great location in the old quarter of Hanoi. The staff were very accommodating and friendly! They have a nice infinity pool on the rooftop with a rooftop bar that serves good drinks and food. The hotel also provides complimentary coffee and a press upon leaving to remember your stay here in Vietnam which was a welcome touch. Thanks for a great stay! 🙏

Incredible place to stay

Top notch area staff quick with customer service. Gym is big and you can even shower in private bathroom if you are traveling later after check out. A night bus as I did. Rooftop bar with pool beautiful and also staff great good food.

I had great communications through WhatsApp with Jolene who helped me pick out a perfect 1 day tour of Ha Long Bay, and set up transfer to and from the airport. The evening desk staff drew directions on a map to train street, got to see 3 trains come through! Enjoyed breakfast, all the staff were super helpful throughout the stay.

Excellent service! The staff was very mindful and attentive - they offered to hold/transfer our luggage while we trip to Ha Long Bay and offered to reserve a private car to the airport and Ninh Binh.

Solid hotel

Hotel was a solid choice, although we stayed in better options in Hanoi. Good location for the Old Quarter and French Quarter. Hotel was a little dated and wouldn’t describe it as 5-star relative to other options nearby. Breakfast that was included was lovely.

We had an excellent stay at the property. The staff went above and beyond to make our family of 4 comfortable. We had two rooms with them and they were extremely accommodating to make sure we enjoy our time at the hotel. I will definitely stay there again. Extremely friendly and professional.

The location was very convenient. We could walk to many major tourist attractions. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff were very nice and friendly. We had a great time there and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Hanoi.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Oriental Jade Hotel. We were greeted very warmly upon arrival and were shown to immaculate rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and included regional specialties in addition to standard western fare. We found the staff to be attentive, kind, and always eager to help.

Some of the best service of any hotel in the world. Very easy communication for English speakers. Outstanding private guide recommendations. Wonderful bed and pillows. Excellent spa and buffet breakfast. I’m pretty well traveled and highly recommend this hotel.

Faultless service from every member of staff without exception. Great location for exploring on foot. Plenty of sights, dining opportunities and shopping. Room was spotlessly clean and beds super comfortable.

Excellent stay due to attentive staff, pristine facilities, great food and service and of course some of the most romantic views over historical Hanoi from a rooftop bar and infinity pool. An oasis of relaxation amongst the bustle of life around the beautiful lake. If new to Hanoi this is the perfect place to stay!

In terms of staff & service 10/10 - best hotel I’ve stayed in from a service perspective. Only note to mention is the rooms may need a bit of soundproofing.

Great hotel overall with great location. The only thing that would be nice is if the restaurant (for breakfast) was located in an arra other than the basement. It’s well decorated but still… but the service was impeccable they even invited us on the ride back to the airport for free simply because of the ‘inconvenience’ of breakfast being in the basement. Amazing customer service!

Second time at this hotel and everything was amazing as the first time. Nothing to fault, comfortable bed, amazing views from the room and rooftop pool. Excellent breakfast and exceptional service from all the staff.

We stayed here as a family of five. We all really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to be accomodating. The breakfast is great, with lots of options to choose from, including vegetarian. It’s very nice when staying in the heart of Hanoi to have a roof top pool and a gym, we really enjoyed these facilities. We had connecting rooms and they were very comfortable. The hotel was accommodating with a late check out and we were still able to enjoy the facilities until our departure to the airport, which was very appreciated!

I and my family enjoyed the stay very much. The location of the hotel is so convenient for shopping and dining. Apart from clean and spacious, the most important is the staff attitude which is amazing and sincere in particular Kathy and Brian. Highly recommend.

One of the best hotels in the Hanoi old quarter

The hotel facility is first class in the Hanoi old quarter area, and its service is great! The spa is highly recommended to relieve the long flight tiredness. The roof top bar has a perfect view to the Hoàn Kiếm Lake, especially in the night. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. We had a wonderful experience staying in this 5 star hotel.

Very warm and helpful staff

I won’t stay anywhere else now! 2nd time at this property and treated like family every time I come back. Mr Do and his team are excellent and treat me like VIP ( even though I’m not! LOL) awesome upgrade and all the staff at reception are so kind and caring. They gave me my same awesome room and great as before. Great location and the quieter part of the old quarter for sure. Less chaotic and less time to get in and out when catching Grab. I love the Oriental Jade and thank you Mr Do and his team. And it’s great to see all the same faces there (Midori, etc) and that is a great testimony to how staff are treated by management. I even had a 5am airport pickup and the early morning crew treated me like royalty with a take away breakfast, gift and making sure my transfer was on time! Thank you again Oriental Jade! I’ll be back next year!

This is a top class 5-star property in the heart of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Very luxurious and replete with modern amenities. Their staff is helpful and kind. The only thing I didn't like was that their rooftop restaurant/bar didn't serve food after 11 pm and had a very limited menu. Their manager, David, in particular was very helpful and made my trip memorable.

Beautiful property in a great location. Marvelous staff. Delicious breakfast. I enjoyed a quick dip in the rooftop pool and a quick workout in the small but satisfactory gym. Really got our visit to Hanoi off to a fine start.

A lovely oasis in the middle of what can be an overwhelming city! Great service, very clean and the rooftop pool was a very welcome retreat at the end of the day!

Restaurant food and breakfast was great. Nice clean pool area with a beautiful view. Service was A with staff always around and taking initiative to help. Drivers were excellent as well with airport pickup and drop-off options available. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful stay we had in Hanoi at the Oriental Jade Hotel. The management and staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and kind. The room was beautiful, the amenities were terrific, and the rooftop bar, pool, and view were amazing. Walkable distance to all the sites and shopping. Amazing service and very clean, great shower

Excellent hotel, stunning value. Five star service with an amazing buffet breakfast. Even though i came in motorbike kit and covered in dust after a 7 hour ride i was received like a pince by Alan, the GM, and the wonderful staff. Such a nice property that is so clean . The bathroom was immaculate and modern with a separate shower. If I come to Hanoi again ill definitely rebook here.

Friendly staff and central location in Old Town

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful during my stay, although very short for business. The room was very clean and comfortable along with the hotel. I was able to use the gym and although small, it was enough for a quick workout. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.
