Love the quiet and wildlife. Bed was just right

We think the lighting in our room and the dining room could be brighter. Breakfast menu contained no fresh fruit.

This was a wonderful stay for us. Magical to see the scenery and wildlife. It is so peaceful there and the food is top-notch (memorable even). We will come back for sure. Thank you for making it so wonderful.

Great

This Property exceeded all my expectations!! Absolutely stunning and the staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. I will definitely be back at some stage.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, special shout out to Lisa, Jessica and Josh who couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Room was great, beautiful soft and comfy bed, all in a tranquil country setting that is only a short drive to Tomakin, Mossy Point and Broulee. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Comfortable Feel

The staff are absolutely amazing. The pool was great. The downside was the room. The images displayed make the roomsame and area look a lot nicer than it really is. It was a lovely place but a little less than I was expecting/hoping for given the reason I was staying there. The option of going on a horse ride is great. I would stay here again

Very quiet place with horses and roos walking around. Pool with a view. Friendly staff. So peaceful and relaxing .

Beautiful setting

Only stayed one night but a lovely experience overall - highlights were the staff, the pool, the view and a surprisingly tasty Mexican dinner. Quiet and friendly atmosphere Family friendly

Heaven

The hostess Tess, was very friendly and gave us a tour of the facilities. The 300 acres was beautiful with horses, kangaroos, birds and a golf course. Dinner was great, we even managed to get the recipe from Tess. Peaceful night and a great breakfast. Will definitely return.

Great Stay.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. Room size was good, comfy bed. Great shower. The room decor was dated but tasteful. The room could be very hot in summer & there was no air conditioning.

Hidden paradise

From the moment we arrived we felt that we were home (but someone else cooked and cleaned for us!) We were made to feel so comfortable which made for a most relaxing stay. Although the decor of the rooms was outdated, they were still comfortable and they shower was amazing. It was a shame there wasn't a hairdryer though but being summer, it was a minor hiccup. We didn't have time to use the pool but we did enjoy horse riding. The meals were outstanding. We have already recommended Oaks Ranch to friends and would love to return ourselves for a longer stay next time!

Excellent place to stay

We stayed overnight here. Surprised that this place is not more patronised. Very comfortable room, nice pool, good breakfast, excellent kitchen facilities for guests, great walking around the golf course with hundreds of wallabies and kangaroos.

Interesting, perhaps a little fawlty towerish!!

It was an interesting place emphasised perhaps by the torrential rain. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The setup was different where once the evening menu was posted you had to pre order. While there was not a plethora to choose from, there was a good choice. The pumpkin soup was to die for and you could have eaten it with a fork, obviously homemade. The pizza was well cooked and totally delish. However, the lack of ice for my pre dinner drink whilst not a game changer was interesting. Breakfast was continental or you could opt for a paid cooked. The continental was fine and the homemade fruit salad hit the spot. The facilities were under utilised due to the rain, however the golf course was a little run down and inhabited by the roos. A nice place to stay if you have a sense of humour in the rain or want to relax country style.

Lovely, charming, quiet retreat

Such a cute little country house out in the bushes. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it's almost like a mini zoo with all the animals on the ranch (including all the wild wallabies). Batemans bay area was all sold out of accommodation, so ended up here but what a pleasant delight.

Outstanding hospitality

This beautiful, working ranch is a most pleasant getaway from the city. It's quiet, filled with animals (countless kangaroo), and has stunning natural beauty. The service is what makes this place shrine, though. Tess, Terry and their staff are friendly and responsive. They are the kind of people you'd enjoy getting to really know. The beds were quite good and the pillows were excellent. I was so thankful that there were heaters in the rooms.

Fun relaxing country stay and great owners!

The Ranch was surrounded by gorgeous country views. The main house had a warm family feel with comfy lounges and an open fire place. The owners and staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There were fun things to do and see, lots of options at the Ranch. A short drive to the beaches. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Children were well catered to. Food was home cooked, fresh and delicious. A nice little bar to sit for adrink. Available facilities provided all that you could need. The animals were delightful, especially Keating the donkey. Free WiFi a big hit with the kids! We are definitely returning in the future.

Amazing country getaway

Amazing staff, made my girlfriend and I feel like part of the family. The ranch is stunning and relaxing. Amazing food and nice common area. Recommend!

Lovely country property with lots to do

We only had one night sadly, but it was delightful. Tess was so friendly and accommodating. She also makes the BEST pizzas!! Played golf but that was all we had time for, so we will have to come back for the rest - horseriding, swimming. Great for families - dozens of kangaroo to observe and the most wonderful donkey resident named Keating! We took our whole family and everyone thought it great. It was quiet too, which is a delight these days!

Memorable holiday @ Oaks Ranch

Great place, friendly staff, your choice to do activities all day or have a quiet moment staring at the beautiful landscape, delicious food! What more can you ask from a holiday.. Oaks Ranch is all that and more. Just to list a few amazing things about the place that I enjoyed with my wife: Beautiful 300 acres landscape 9 hole golf course Swimming Pool Games room Guest kitchen / Barbeque Company of adorable animals all around: Kangaroos, gorgeous horses, a donkey who loves getting a good pat everytime you pass by, loads of birds doing a fly past for you Well stocked DVD and book library A good breakfast included in your room price Most importantly: Tess: One of the Most friendly host that you will get in hospitality industry Ally: She made one of the most delicious pizzas we have ever had, going the extra mile to ensure all dietary requirements are met I can go on and on but all in all highly recommend this place for a good family holiday or even for the couples, Keep it up Tess and team @ Oaks Ranch,
