Beautiful lobby and amenities. Rooms were somewhat outdated and we found an old sock in the pull out bed. Overall decent stay. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and was within walking distance to many attractions.
Disappointed
We wanted to celebrate our son’s 8th birthday in Philly. We picked this hotel in particular because it was supposed to be a “luxury” hotel. The pictures of the rooms and the hotel itself made The Logan look like a great hotel for our trip. I will say that the hotel was pretty busy with St. Patty’s day weekend festivities and what looked like a few weddings book all at the same time. When we arrived for check-in there was a long line to check in. Once we got our room key we were excited to enter the space. The lobby and common spaces of the hotel were just as pictured, our room not so much which was no a huge deal until we went into the bathroom to find pubic hairs on the rim of the toilet seat and also more were found in the tub. The bar/coffee maker was disgusting. We wanted to get some ice and the ice bucket was caked with dust buildup. I will say the rest of the room like the linens, floor, and seating were clean. It was a disappointing experience, I hope this experience was just because it was a busy weekend and lack of staffing to handle the turnover because the location, parking, and Urban Farmer restaurant was at least a plus.
It's great!
Best stay ever! Staff wonderful!
Everything was amazing
Beautiful hotel!
Nothing special about the property, typical room (mine wasn’t cleaned well hair all over the bathroom) Very thin walls you can hear everything and everyone Wouldn’t stay again
Great hotel. Didn’t know what to expect with the Logan brand but I’ll look in other cities for the brand. Staff was beyond accommodating and the hotel was lovey.
Must visit spa!!!!
Typical US service and hotel .... Outdated and poo
Unbelievably rude, poor, lazy, slow, staff across front desk and restaurant. These people wouldn't have jobs in the UK or Europe. Dreadful service. Actually rude in most instances. Bathroom was never cleaned, floors or shower. I needed to ask for shower gel to be restocked.
Awesone
Slightly better cleaning of the rooms would have made it perfect.
Great location
I loved it
My family went here for my mom's birthday and it was great! The staff were so helpful, everything was so clean and beautiful, and it was in a perfect place in the city! Would definitely stay again!!
The hotel was beautiful and we loved that they had an area with a pool table. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly.
Great hotel!
Had an amazing stay here at the Logan. It is literally in the middle of everything. Valet is amazing and bring your vehicle in less than 10 mins. The urban farmer restaurant on the first floor was very delicious. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to experience the spa. Prior to arriving to the Logan I tried to book a couples massage and was told to inform the front desk when I arrive. Once I arrived front desk informed to speak with the underground spa directly and they were already booked up for weeks. Other than that the rooms were very clean and the staff were outstanding. We stayed on the 7th floor with the balcony and an amazing view of the Philadelphia art museum. I will definitely stay here again.
I was hoping for something a bit nicer
The rooms need an upgrade. They feel run down and dingy. The linens felt old.
We stayed on Valentines Day 2025 and had a blast! I was super impressed with how clean it was despite that the Eagles Parade(go birds!) was wrapping up as we arrived. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Our room was clean and had a fantastic view! We loved working out at the gym and the pool looked fun! Neat hotel with so many extras!!
Average stay. Expected more but they appeared severely short staffed.
This was a repeat stay for me. This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms are well-appointed. Food is very good. Excellent Happy Hour. I especially received EXCELLENT service from Julian at Reception (5am on 2/14). We will return to this hotel next time we are in Philadelphia.
Lovely stay.
Had a lovely stay at The Logan. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of spaces to relax and spacious room with a great view.
Outstanding location right by Franklin Institute and a short walk to the Barnes as well as lots of restaurants. Our room overlooking the fountain was surprisingly quiet and very spacious.
Very nice staff. Very clean hotel and rooms. Would definitely stay here again!
Felt safe and secure from start to finish. Lovely time!
We had an amazing time. The Logan actually upgraded out room to the Commonwealth suite because they overbooked and have our room away. The rim was amazing and clean. The staff was super professional and kind. Would definitely recommend
Front desk staff was excellent and accommodating the rooms were clean beds were very comfortable pool was nice restaurant was okay they should really do a breakfast buffet or brunch buffet that would have been great overall very good
The only negative is the restaurant. The food in my opinion is terrible.
Great service, but unhappy about experience
The service was excellent, but the beds were tiny and the pool was not in service. There was no trash can in the bathroom and the room was not ready when we tried to check in at check in time. They were very kind about it and kept our luggage until after we returned from dinner. Then it was ready, but it was inconvenient. Really, the service was really professional and upbeat, but the accomodations were annoying.
The staff was friendly and helpful when we had a small glitch in our reservation. During the Super Bowl parade everything was safe and well organized. Great times!!
The front desk staff was really nice and the valet was so attentive! Best valet I've experienced at a hotel. Only downside was that our room wasn't available when we got there (we thought check in was 3pm but it was 4pm) and the only options were to wait the hour or pay $60 extra for an upgraded room. We couldn't wait the hour so we got the upgraded room, but it was a really great and spacious room with a living area that was wonderful. The king sized bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
Views of Logan square
Great Stay
Easy check-in. Valet service was great and convenient. Hotel was a great location. Easy access from the highway.
Beautiful stay. Nice rooftop. Central location. Walkable to museums. Restaurant and bar on first floor
Excellent
Great location and close to the museams. Their rooftop bar is wonderful. City taps and victory brewery are great spots less than a block away. Have benn here multiple times and aleays enjoy this hotel. I am looking foward to their pool renovation.
Solid stay, price, and location
Friendly staff, great location and good food.
4/5
Everything was great. Only thing outdated was the TV. Older model tv, no streaming services or options to buy movies and was just basic cable with no tv guide.
Friendly staff clean accommodations
Room and hotel are clean and beautiful
Great hotel in a perfect location
Great hotel in a great location -- close to the heart of downtown, but near Franklin Parkway and all its attractions. The rooms are spacious, lobby and restaurant are quite nice, only minor complaint is a need for some upgrading of the gym (or expansion!). It's become my go-to hotel in downtown Philadelphia.
I was very appreciative of how helpful the staff was, Chris made sure my stay was 10/10 for my first time experience
Our stay here at The Logan was exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated with stunning views of the city. The hotel's prime location made it easy to explore all the nearby attractions, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals.
Very good overall...
I was very excited to stay at The Logan since a Philly friend reminded me it used to the the location of the Four Seasons! It was right across the Cathedral, exactly where I needed to go to attend a funeral. Overall the service was very good (front desk, and especially the restaurant staff). However, my shower was a little hard to close/was very specific to not be drippy? Those things should be super-straight forward. I didn't have the time or mental effort (focused on more important things) to notify the hotel directly, but knew I would mention it in my review.
.....
Good people & a clean environment
Very memorable stay
Amazing view of the city. The rooftop bar was great for gathering of friends and family.
Too dark halls and room
We had a great experience and will definitely be back. The room was spacious and very clean.
It's a pretty lovely property. It is close to many restaurants, and the restaurants/bars are very good on the property. The rooms can be upgraded a bit, and while the staff is charming, they aren't very attentive. I don't blame them, though. It seemed like they were understaffed the last two visits I made there.
Great location and we self park right next to property. Also, like the surrounding restaurants so close by.
Room service could have been better, location top notch the restaurant is good as well. Clean hotel.
Nice
This is our 3rd time staying at The Logan which is a serviceable hotel. We got a suite which was a nice size but there was a slight, musty odor in the room which was off putting.
It was right on downtown
This is a 4 star hotel with 1 star service and amenities. Staff was polite but not helpful and very short staffed. Waiting 30 minutes on check in line at 5pm to be told our room was not ready. Overpriced restaurant with underwhelming food. Also being charged $4 for ice in your drink is absurd. Will not stay and do NOT recommend Location is great. That’s it
Clean
Cons: the room was not clean. There was a fingernail clipping in the bed, hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower, and something that resembled blood on the white bathroom trash can. So despite the pros, this is a deal breaker for me. Additionally, the "free breakfast" is not free, but just a credit at their very good but expensive on site restaurant. Pros: The indoor pool was nice, and the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The location is perfect for walking and exploring. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. The hotel has a lot of space in and around the lobby to hang out if you want to be out of your room.
It was astonishing that the valet parking was $70/night. If someone had mentioned that we could have parked in the parking lot around the corner. Otherwise the facility was lovely and helpful
The swimming pool for kids is an excellent option if in Philadelphia!!
It was perfect spot . Had a wedding at the Franklin institute and was within walking or shuttle . The hotel bar and restaurant were very good . Nice staff
The hotel was kids friendly and the overall service was great. Loved that the room was available early! Did not like that ordered room service and it came in a brown bag instead of a tray or cart! But besides that it was good.
Room wasnt ready & we had to pay for upgrade
They didn’t have our reserved room (2 double beds) available upon check in at 6pm. The front desk people were very nice and offered us an upgrade at a discounted rate- an additional 60 dollars. We were also given a food voucher for that amount, so it canceled out the additional charge. Still, I think they should have just upgraded us when we checked in without an additional charge if they didn’t have the room that we reserved available.
good
Loved staying at the Logan. Felt like a queen. Beautiful, artsy, good food, nice comfortable rooms, fun area to walk around. Would go back again.
Nice.
Fun experience! Thank you
We loved the indoor pool. Anything I needed. I was able to just shoot a text for service.
A great hotel. I would stay again. Great breakfast, courteous staff, great atmosphere and amenities.
Check in was very slow. Beds in the room we subpar best. Thought the hotel would be much better than it was.
Great ,clean hotel. Walkable to all attractions.
Great location, Decent hotel conditions, staff was less than pleasant—like everyone had a chip on their shoulder just to be at work.
Room was Spacious and super clean. Staff were ALL super helpful & friendly. I totally enjoyed our stay!! Urban Farmwr was very good. Rokm service was timely and super nice. Would highly recommend!!
I had a fantastic stay and the location was so convenient and safe.
Very nice and spacious lobby lounge
Great hotel
Lobby and amenities are really nice.
Problems
There were a few problems in the hotel room. One the outlet in the bathroom was very difficult to find. It was around the bathroom wall next to the toilet. Also, the outlet was inoperable. The bathroom lights were too dim to put on make up. There were not enough creamers for the coffee
Great atmosphere!
Had a great weekend away! The view of Logan Square was great!
Please use better vacuums -we moved rooms once because the carpet was dirty and the next room was only marginally better. Your vacuum should have a hose attachment so you can get the door jams and under furniture and near the baseboards plus the hallways are very dirty.
Garbage in the hall. I could hear snoring from another guest all night. Management gave me earplugs.
would stay again
We loved our stay here. It was my birthday and Chris at the front desk just noticed it was my birthday on my driver's license and upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the top floor, which was sooo nice. Also sent us a bottle of champagne which was above and beyond. The hotel was so beautiful, it was decorated so nice for Christmas. Everyone on staff was so helpful and nice, I only write a review if somewhere was amazing and we loved the Logan. The bed was so comfy, I didn't want to leave.
Nice stay at Logan Philadelphia
I was greeted by Tim the doorman, who was welcoming and then had a nice interaction with Chris at the counter. the restaurant, Urban Farmer was excellent. I'll definitely stay there again.
The Logan is always nice
The front desk staff wasn’t friendly and the services were terrible! The front charged my card several times for a room, charged me a cancellation fee for a room I didn’t reserve. I called days before I check in requesting for my rooms to be next to each other and they were not. To top it off my second room wasn’t ready until almost 6pm and I had to the front desk several times about that as well.
Gorgeous, clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Chris went above and beyond making my life so much easier. Greatly appreciate him.
My family and I travel during thanksgiving break. It was busy so I can imagine their staff is tired. It was an okay stay given the holiday.
Excellent property and location for a quick weekend trip to Philadelphia
The staff was incredible. They are very friendly and when we called to get more pillows, they responded immediately and without any flack. I wish the bed was a bit softer and the shower needed a little bit better cleaning. However, it wasn't preventing me from taking a shower. I loved the curtains. My husband and I both thought it was early morning before sunrise and it was 8:30!!
The hotel lobby is beautiful and there are many nice options for drinks and food. Our room had an amazing view of the fountain, bed was very comfortable and room was big. However, the hallway on the 4th floor was very dirty, the walls were torn from what looks like maybe housekeeping carts, not sure but looks bad. Overall had a great stay and perfect location for all our plans in the city.
Easy experience
Hotel is in a nice safe area, walking distance to restaurants, museum, and parks. It is kept clean and staff is very friendly. Would stay here again.
Stay was ok. Carpet in hallways need replacing. $69.00 to park a car is ridiculous. Bad area was to small to accommodate our group
It was cool
I visit Philly often and always stay here. Everything is usually great, however this time the mark was missed. I love the location and I was appreciative that we were able to check in about an hour earlier, however once we arrived in the room there was a smell in the room. I had to find housekeeping and ask for some kind of deodorizer for the room. When I asked if there was something available she just gave it to me and didn’t bother to come in and spray. The was no glasses in the room. Then once I looked in the closet the robes worn from the previous guest were on the floor in the closet. There was also still items in the fridge from the previous guest and also a blow up bed pushed under the desk. I immediately called the front desk. We arrived and checked in around 3. I didn’t receive a response from housekeeping until around 8. I understand it was a holiday however that was unacceptable. There was no compensation offered just some extra water oh and a mini bottle of wine. Totally unacceptable.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was beautiful and offered the perfect view of the parkway.
