This is a return trip for us. It is one of my all time favorite places to stay! What a comfortable beautiful and well designed suite. The staff from reception to turn down attention, to the hospitality persons, captains, managers, waiters, etc could not be any better! They are far more than 5 stars! I was so well cared for and wanted for nothing! Excellence beyond words.

Travel to Delhi 4-5 times per year 2 weeks per visit. Lodhi has become home base in Delhi. Rooms are large and comfortable with outdoor space. Chirag is a world class concierge and has always ensured a positive experience.

This is a beautiful property albeit a bit dated. The Indian Accent restaurant is on this property and worth a visit! The room was well appointed, but a bit dark and dingy. We didn't get to experience much as we slept most of the time we were there after two very long flights. We arrived in the dark and woke up in the dark. We would consider staying here again if ever in Delhi again.

We got the most satisfactory experience during our stay at this hotel. The staff is amazing. Specially we want to thank our concierge Chirag Singh who made our entire experience in India simply amazing. He was able to accommodate all our requests, provided great guidance, offered much needed suggestions about tourist attractions, he was the most polite, accommodating and professional concierge we’ve ever met. The room was conformable, great bed, wonderful balcony, very quiet, the breakfast was delicious, everything about this hotel was perfect, I highly recommend this place. We even had help at the airport where the hotel employee helped us to find our terminal. Thank you for our wonderful time in Delhi!

Loveliest staff, great pool and overall peaceful hotel for such a busy city

The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all super helpful. The gym was one of the best equipped hotel gyms I have been to, well done.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodhi. It was very comfortable. The garden terrace room had all you needed with bed, couch, tv, terrace and private bathroom. Attention to detail was faultless. Particularly enjoyed the nightly sweet treat left in the room. Would definitely stay again if we get the opportunity to do so.

Downgrading room category without consent

I booked Garden terrace room . Was downgraded to a normal room without garden terrace and was argued by front desk staff who said 6B is a garden terrace room . Just very rude reception staff , have stayed here for many occasions but this is the lowest I experienced

One of a kind property in the area while specifically looking for a plunge pool in a suite with luxury, quiet and serene time with family. Glad to mention that this property checked each and every bullet point I desired during my stay. Harshita from reception checked us in and escorted to room. The team effort of house keeping and front really made us feel welcomed for our special occasion of a birthday celebration. Amit, believe a Sr. Manager from front again, I call him the miracle person, raised always to the challenge of special requests. Sunil, Sanjay, Jagdish and so many more from House keeping - cant say thanks enough to all of you. Purshotam a special thanks to you. Only department that lacked the luster was F&B, the restaurant in the breakfast with extremely limited offerings with an excuse that they are not offering the full due to lack of capacity. We had an awesome stay at the Lodhi. Check in and check out were seamless. The staff were all so friendly and professional. A special shoutout to the Elan staff, who made our stay so special. They brought out all these extras for us, pastries, fruit, and even miniature versions of Indian dishes on their menu just because we wanted to try them but were too full to order a full plate. They really made an effort to share their culinary culture. Our suite was just as pictured, the balcony and private pool were amazing. The toiletries were top notch. The gym was so well stocked, like a commercial gym with lots of weight and functional equipment. We had an great stay and would stay here next time we are in Delhi! 10/10 for everything!

While the room was great, it was FULL OF MOSQUITOES. I called the pest guy TWICE and the room was full of mosquitoes. I couldn't even use the pool properly. Rs 18k down the drain.

The room was fabulous, one of its kind with a private plunge pool. The stay was comfortable and nice. The staff was very helpful. Check-in was quick and the hotel went out of its way to decorate the room for my birthday. Really grateful for making my stay memorable.

This property has a lot to offer. We used this property to relax after more than a week of sightseeing in Rajasthan and Agra. We booked a Lodhi Room with a private plunge pool. The hotel was absolutely lovely. Modern, beautifully decorated and clean spaces with courteous and friendly staff. The quality of the food was better than places I have visited in Paris/London. In addition, the security checkpoint at the gate ensured a sense of safety, dispelling all concerns about what is taking place in the outside world. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be going back to the Lodhi the next time we are in Delhi.

Modern hotel in city centre

Modern hotel . But a mosquito infested nightmare . Terrible food quality !!! Beautiful modern rooms .. and private plunge pool which could NOT be enjoyed as the mosquitoes are relentless when you are outside the room.

The room was good. Showing signs of age. TV is old. Elevator didn’t work at check out. Food was excellent. Hotel staff has a lot to learn about managing a high end hotel. They are poorly trained. Very poorly trained. So disappointing.

This place has the most professional service I have experienced in India and is near the top anywhere in the world. I really appreciated their offer for use of a room to shower and clean up before our late evening flight. Everything top notch.

The outdoor plunge pool doesn’t heat up adequately past 29 degrees Celsius during winter. Too cold for me and my fiancé to enjoy and we paid extra for this feature. They should have given us an indoor plunge pool.

Few things that could be easily reviewed and corrected. Sauna needs to be ficed and timely working. On our last day of stay the lady at the front counter in the reatairant changed the rules for our breakfat. So i had to talk to Mr Gajender at the restaurant and address the issue, which he very professionally handle and took care of it. Overall this is very nice and amazing place.

Unique is the personal plunge pool with your suit. However, I would caution families with small kids to take note they maintain 29 degree Celsius as the maximum pool temperature when asked for heating. This temperature seemed uncomfortable for my 2year old in November delhi weather. We spent time in the pool very selectively because of water/weather temperature and our 2 year old child.

As good as it gets...

This is a good hotel. Good as in as good as you will find on the planet. Yes, it does not have not a sexy cutting edge design, yes, there are newer hotels in delhi, but I doubt you can do better in the city. The rooms are huge, with on suite private plunge pools and are very comfortable. The staff are up the ninja end of competence, the food in the many restaurants is fantastic and varied, there is at least one nice bar (dark, atmospheric and with good cocktails), all the air is filtered and clean, its right in the middle of town, security is good and not too obtrusive, the internet works and makes logging on easy and they have a nice spar and lap pool. What is not to like? A byproduct of the huge rooms with vast terraces is that there are very few people on each floor. This is not a big hotel in terms of capacity. So lifts are always empty, and you rarely see anyone else. They even seem to hide the room service carts from you so everything seems effortless magic. Just perfect. Book with confidence.

The Lodhi is a spectacular hotel and every staff member I encountered was exceptionally hospitable

It’s a unique place from when you arrive at the airport. The Lodhi greet you with a named board and whisk you away to the hotel in a sleek car. The first of our two visits continued at reception with the incredible SONI who showed us into our room (an upgrade) VIP Expedia works. Throughout the hotel from the ladies doing our rooms to the swimming pool staff the hosts at Eden to the front entrance and drivers ALL are fabulous helpful and want nothing more than you to have an unbelievable experience. We also had an illness when here and they sorted a Dr and prescription within 2 hours. We had to cancel the Shimla leg of our trip and the Lodhi let us stay in the same room for the Expedia rate. Fabulous experience at what must be a truly world class hotel

The Lodhi Hotel is justifiably a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Beyond the great rooms, amenities, restaurants, the service is what really sets apart The Lodhi from other great hotels of the world. The staff is truly there to accommodate and help with anything that you may desire. We had numerous couples staying at the Lodhi both prior to and after our destination wedding in Udaipur, and the hotel served as home base during this time. We've been lucky enough to stay in a number of top hotels in the world, but have never seen service to the level that was displayed at The Lodhi. As we were looking after many groups, staff at the hotel provided us with updates on what different members of our party were doing/when they were arriving/and if they were enjoying their stay. The Lodhi did all they could to provide upgrades to as many of our party as possible, and went above and beyond. Everyone had an amazing stay, and not one person had a negative word to say about the hotel and the staff. To add to the icing on the cake, my wife and I purchased a frame to give a gift to my grandfather of a picture of ourselves with him during our wedding. We asked the staff where we could go to print out the pictures to put into the frame, and Soni (who is THE BEST) stated that she would take care of it for us. A couple hours later, she presented us with a professionally printed collage of the pictures we wanted in the frame - at no cost. This is easily the best hotel in Delhi!

my stay in Lodhi was unforgettable, everything is perfect in this hotel from the friendly and extremely helpful staff to the spacious and amazing room to the delicious restaurant of the hotel everything was on spot. they even offered me an upgrade and from time to time they were always surprising me with little gifts with my orders , everyone is always smiling and you can feel the wormth of the staff thier, it was one of the best hotels I have ever been in my life and trust me I travel a lot .

The rooms are quite spectacular- although they look a little rundown over tine. I also had a mosquito in my room due to the cleaning staff. But the service is subpar for New Delhi. And the main restaurant served bland breakfast with poor service.

Worst Experience..

I had my worst experience here this time..Duty manager Mr Amit was so disrespectful that i had to leave the l in between..My belongings were left there as well.

The room was in a very good condition and had some excellent amenities such as the swimming pool. However, we did not have a good experience with the support staff. In the beginning, no one answered our calls. We had to call the number provided in our welcome page to get the phones working. Then there was a lizard in the room. Thirdly, there was no hair dryer, which is something very basic and is available even in very mediocre hotels. The staff also did not tell us that outside food is not allowed and it ruined our scheduled plans. It also took around 45 minutes for us to get an answer back if the wine we wanted was available or not. In all the experience with the support staff was below standards and left us disappointed.

From stepping through the doors of this hotel, it was sublime, the attention to detail was second to none. Walking into our room 'The Lodhi Room' was an incredible space, beautiful contemporary design and interior, then of course the “pool in our room” ...what a treat! It actually felt like an apartment (space wise) with the extraordinary perks of a five star hotel. Concierge Our Concierge were gracious and knowledgeable.The team led by Rajesh, ably assisted by Manish and Rajiv could not be any more helpful, advising us where to go, when and how to get there. Our first day was organised within minuets, a day tour around Delhi, seeing the most important sights, which left us time to decide which to visit in depth and in which order. Drivers While staying at The Lodhi Hotel we used the hotel drivers on a few occasions. Both Rohtash and Sandeep were professional, attentive and very knowledgeable, nothing being too much trouble. They are both a credit to the Hotel and would highly recommend. In Room Service Having had room service in 5* hotels all over the world I can certainly say this is one if not the best, from the speedy delivery to the on point waiter service when the food is delivered. The food is as good as any top restaurant, always hot and excellent quality, delivered with silver service, as you expect. I cannot leave out housekeeping they were also second to none, pillows, toiletries and even fresh fruit every day.

The Lodhi is an absolutely fantastic hotel with the most attentive service imaginable. Highly recommend! Airport transfers were complimentary and incredibly smooth. A hotel representative meets you at the airport exit and escorts you to the car. Our driver, Sanjeev, was lovely and gave us a quick introduction to some of the areas we were driving around on our way to the hotel. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. We had an early morning drive to Agra, and the overnight concierge Gaurav arranged for a delicious packed breakfast for us. I also needed help when I accidentally left my cellphone behind in an Uber! The hotel manager and all the staff assisted me in the process of contacting Uber and recovering my phone. They were so kind and reassuring, and I so appreciate their efforts. The housekeeping staff was excellent as well. As my husband and I were in Delhi as part of our honeymoon, they treated us to a complimentary mini cake and set up a lovely rose petal bath for us. The food at their restaurant Elan was delicious and fresh. The Breakfast included with our stay consisted of fruit, a generous basket of pastries, and your entree of choice. The chef always came out to greet diners and to ensure we were pleased with the meal. I can’t emphasize how absolutely incredible and attentive the service provided by The Lodhi was throughout our stay. Above and beyond! Will always, always, always stay here whenever we are in Delhi.

Beautiful property

Lovely property that felt like an oasis within the city. Excellent location close to Lodhi Gardens, which are beautiful. Appreciated the air purifier in our room as the pollution was quite bad during our visit to the city. Only downside was that there was a loud party at the hotel one night til 2am which was very annoying and impacted our sleep. Felt the hotel could have prepared guests for this by providing earplugs in advance versus after my complaint.

This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed! The suite with the plunge pool was a perfect room to recover from jet lag. The food and service was excellent. I also enjoyed the spa and a massage.

Beautiful hotel, does not disappoint

The Lodhi is a top notch hotel In Delhi, with beautiful rooms and top notch amenities.

This is a super special hotel. Right from Ms Soni at Reception, The concierge team that can do the difficult and tries for the impossible, Dipali taking our long breakfast orders and sending it to our room. Mukesh helping us for early morning flight (packing our breakfast, nice tea to wake us up, another one for car to airport). Arrival and departure at airport is also special (Punkit taking such special care). Finally, I travel a lot but to remember names of so many staff really means The Lodhi offer a very special and personal experience.

Excellent hotel. It was my friends birthday and they went out of their way to provide extra flowers in the room, decorate with Rangoli and made 2 birthday cakes which were delicious. All the food we tried was of excellent quality Would definitely stay again

World’s best hotel staff.

Of all the hotels that I’ve stayed in, I have never experienced such attentive service. Our concierge Gaurav was so helpful and knowledgeable. Sachin in the restaurant Elan provided outstanding service. In fact every member of staff delivered service above and beyond our expectations. The hotel restaurant was delicious, they even made my favourite breakfast dish as a late afternoon snack! I would recommend The Lodhi to anybody coming to Delhi and would rate it as the best hotel stay in all my experiences.

Unbelievably wonderful, luxurious and beautiful hotel. The design is modern, intelligent and tranquil. The restaurant is excellent, High-end suites have their own private plunge pool in a totally secluded design. Room amenities are first-class. The staff -from concierges, desk staff, drivers, waiters, housekeeping, airport support and more- are well spoken, well-informed, supportive and kind. This is my favorite place to stay in Asia and, possibly, anywhere.

They need to work on their servicing. A simple request to get a coffee in room took 3-4 visits by the staff.

The room was dirty with stains on the sofa. But after many complaints the stuff was replaced. The verandah Pool was amazing and the bed was super comfy. The speakers are bose of yore and don’t entice. Kitchen accessories were missing. The price left much to be desired. Though the ala carte breakfast was good

Need a week here!

I love this hotel. I love 99% of things about it. The service made my trip, it was outstanding, something you dont find very much anymore. The hotel has an interesting layout. It was monsoon season and the marble or stone walk ways were very slippery. So take care if you're there when and it's raining. Semi private elevators take you to your room, but they open on both sides. Some to a parking lot, road or other. I'm sure it's completely safe, but it's a bit strange. Overall, I would love to go back for a week of pampering. Spa was great too.
